The “great” Trump Reset….

The campaign media messaging from Team Clinton and Team Trump continues its downhill race to the bottom.  After a disastrous week, Team Trump began another supposed “reset”, with Trump set to launch some big economic plan today, while the Stone/Manafort duo wage an all-out crapfest of attacks on Hillary in their friendly media venues, like The Drudge Report, InfoWars, Breitbart, etc. with photos of Hillary looking either decrepit or “unhinged”.   These smear attacks are to feed their counter-attack against the liberal media’s coordinated, nuclear option level, smear attack with the Clinton campaign last week, to make Trump radioactive as the LOOSE CANNON, you know, the deranged madman intent on starting a nuclear war…

Trump’s big “reset” today will be about as successful as Hillary’s string of “campaign relaunches”, ostensibly to do a personality makeover, from arrogant, harpy bitch, to America’s sweet grandmother, all sugar and spice and Charlotte face time nice… We can see how that turned out….  same old sniping, thatwitch2016….  Jonah Goldberg penned a dissection of Trump and his endless “pivots” to “acting” presidential, “Waiting for the Pivot at the End of the Universe”  He writes:

Donald Trump isn’t running a presidential campaign; he’s running a national speaking tour. When a normal presidential campaign gets into trouble you can change tactics and strategy. When a cult of personality gets into trouble, what can you do? Only one thing: Change the personality. And, again, that isn’t going to happen. Ever.

Oh sure, his poll numbers will go up again. He’ll have a good few days, maybe even a good week. And given how we’ve lowered the bar when it comes to Trump’s behavior you can be sure Newt and Christie and, of course, Hannity will celebrate it like the demoralized parents of a junkie teenager who manages to get a B on his report card. “He’s got his act together!” Back in September, I wrote about the tendency of Trump boosters to over invest in Trump’s political accomplishments:

“But this is not an argument for Trump as a serious presidential candidate. It is really no argument at all. It is catharsis masquerading as principle, venting and resentment pretending to be some kind of higher argument. Every principle used to defend Trump is subjective, graded on a curve. Trump is like a cat trained to piss in a human toilet. It’s amazing! It’s remarkable! Yes, yes, it is: for a cat. But we don’t judge humans by the same standard.”

In the days ahead, Trump will stay on message for a day or two and the reaction from many will be “The Prophecies Are True!” and “Watch out Hillary!” and “Behold! The Cat Who Pees!” Never mind that serious presidential candidates are expected to be disciplined for months on end. We’ve so downgraded our expectations of Trump that even minimal or sub-minimal professionalism from him is greeted like unprecedented statesmanship. But it won’t last. It won’t last because it can’t. The “Days Since an Unpresidential Screw-Up” Clock will never hit double digits.

This messaging sinks to such levels of absurdity, yet the media minions and a large chunk of the yammering political punditry class are little more than large-mouth bass taking any bait tossed their way.  So many supposed political wizards leap at all these shallow, campaign messaging sleaze dumps and treat them as serious news and legitimate “campaign issues”.

It’s still stunning that the political punditry class and supposed Republican political operatives don’t know how to discern how the Clinton “spin cycle” works after all these years and can’t seem to identify the talking points messaging.  Most of them seemed clueless that the “GOP Insurgent sent to burn the GOP to the ground” meme was a typical Clinton sewer rat meme from the start.  The trick is to not get sucked in emotionally by the messaging and just dispassionately identify the messaging, how often they’re repeated, where they originate in the media messaging stream, who all is working to spread the messages and then dispassionately determine, who the messaging benefits and to what ends is the messaging working to advance.

Cokie Roberts, on ABC’s This Week reacted to the Trump messaging counter-attack:

Roberts said, “About unhinged and she doesn’t look presidential, is totally code for we shouldn’t elect a woman. That is exactly what that is.”

So, who the heck is Cokie Roberts, well she isn’t some professional, unbiased journalist.  She’s the daughter of two very prominent Democrats, Congressman and Congresswoman, Hale and Lindy Boggs.  That should be added as a disclaimer to every word she utters on any partisan political issues, the same as ABC’s Georger Stephanopoulos, should have a disclaimer that he was is a top Democratic political operative and former White House Communications Director for President Bill Clinton.  These people aren’t journalists; they’re Democratic political operatives.

Newsflash to Cokie, if you live by character assassinations in politics, you might die by them too. This campaign has moved way beyond trying to pull the “mean Rick Lazio attacking a defenseless woman” tactic

Time to put on the big girl panties, Cokie, and quit playing the “victim of sexism card” every time someone uses the same Clinton smear tactics against Saint Hillary. Her whining about the Trump counter-attack serves as a clear-sign that she fears the Trump counterattack will gain some traction. The Clinton spin machine went “nuclear” last week against Trump, with the relentless, over-the-top, liberal media onslaught, casting Trump as a deranged madman, intent on starting a nuclear war (a LOOSE CANNON).

Too bad Trump has spent more time feeding their messaging than his own, so all he’s left with is getting into the gutter like the Clintons.

FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH;

The reason for the schizophrenia inside the Potemkin Trump campaign, I firmly believe, stems from the battle over Trump’s messaging campaign inside the Potemkin Trump campaign.  There’s been this endless battle between the Lewandowski faction and the Roger Stone/big name GOP enabler faction.  The Trump children seem to be torn between the two political operative factions.  Trump was sold early on the Clinton talking points. scorched earth approach and his “GOP Insurgent” campaign, even though that messaging was a Clinton set-up.  That is obvious!

Roger Stone and the big name GOP enablers have been trying to pull Trump away from the Lewandowki (CLINTON) messaging, but truthfully that kind of throwing as much dirt as you can and hoping it sticks (the Carville approach) fits Trump’s bullying personality perfectly.  Last week was Trump deciding to try what worked to burn the GOP to the ground in the primary, with disastrous results.  The liberal media that colluded for his 24/7 “GOP Insurgency” Show is now doing what was planned all along – running the Clinton scorched earth to destroy the Republican nominee.  Despite Lewandowski finally being ousted, Stone and his friend, Paul Manafort have little control or influence on Trump, because Trump revels in the Clinton-style scorched earth messaging.  Manafort and Trump’s big name GOP enablers promise that today is the Trump “reset”….  So start counting how many days he can stay on message before he goes back to the LOOSE CANNON….

The BILLIONS of dollars of free media Trump was given by the likes of liberal CNN and MSNBC should have clued people in that this was a set-up.  Even the fascist memes back in February, the timeline points to Trump was sold on those strong-man talking points being a good idea by someone in his campaign.  Trump did that pledge rally, where he read a prepared pledge from a card and immediately, the likes of Chuck Todd were prepared to hype the “Nuremberg Rally” charge – it was a set-up, but someone inside Trump’s campaign convinced him that pledge rally was a good idea and set-up that pledge rally for him.  That two-week strong-man messaging of his led to the showdown against Soros funded mobs in Chicago and after that CNN and MSNBC pivoted to running Hillary’s scorched earth and Trump 24/7 friendly media there ended.

The bigger picture is way more than whether one of these two corrupt sleazes wins in November – it’s the WHOLESALE PUBLIC CORRUPTION.

MY OWN ECHO:

Starting with the Clinton “war room” in the early 90s, and now we’re at Obama “narratives”, where every tool of the executive branch is used as a partisan tool, to include 50 military intelligence analysts reports being altered to fit the “Obama narrative” and a WH effort to corrupt the Army chain of command, by interfering in the prosecution of a deserter, the corruption has spread to undercutting military justice. Susan Rice going on national TV to declare Bergdahl served with “honor and distinction” was a blatant “undue command influence” trying to interfere in a UCMJ matter.  That Bergdahl’s case is still in limbo is solely because of Obama administration pressure on the Army to drop the case.  Then there are all the other “narratives” the Obama administration spread to cover-up – Benghazi, the IRS scandal, and the list goes on and on.

So, the Democratic Party is little more than an organized crime syndicate, where laws are for the little people and Republicans, but not for the likes of Hillary Clinton. If the email and electronic message traffic, between the Clinton operatives/the Potemkin Trump campaign and media conduits to smear and destroy 16 Republicans, gets leaked it will prove that the Clintons set in motion a corrupt effort to destroy the GOP primary and if the mass media collusion is proven, then that’s a totally corrupt system.

Coming from a blue-collar background, I do understand the rise of populist icons, like Sarah Palin and Donald Trump, among working class Americans, who aren’t going to assiduously study issues, read history or pay any attention to renowned pundits like George Will, with his use of words most of these people have never even heard, let alone know their meaning.  These are the people I grew up around and as one of my sons, as a precocious 12 year-old informed me, many years ago while on a visit to the backwoods of PA, “Mom, your family is kind of like Northern rednecks.”  There you have your explanation for the rise of Donald Trump and Sarah Palin before him.

In my many years online, I have been banned two times from posting comments on two blogs, The American Thinker and The Last Refuge Blog, one years ago and one just recently.  After my experiences posting on the Excite message boards way back during the Clinton impeachment, these days I don’t venture to other sites very often to post comments, preferring to stay here at my own backwoods blog, to ramble to my heart’s content.  The past few days, I spent some time at National Review posting under my long-time user name, mhere (my little inside joke on the Russian word for peace) and at The American Thinker under the name, susanholly.  I was observing the comments from the devoted Trump supporters and thinking about the Trump supporters’ views.

This Trump phenomenon hearkened back to the Sarah Palin flirtation with a 2012 run for President and that is where I got banned from The American Thinker, for commenting on Sarah Palin wallowing (and making big money) in the reality TV trash culture, while bashing the decline in American culture.  I hadn’t written any cuss words or called any other posters names, just expressed my opinion, that she is a populist, self-promoter more than she is a staunch conservative standard-bearer.

Often Palin lands on the right side of conservative issues, but she can’t offer more than trite slogans and appeals to emotion to support her views.  Her supporters adore her and any venue where she ends up looking stupid, gets turned on the reporter asking the question, like Katie Couric asking Palin what  newspapers and periodicals she reads to stay informed, in that famous interview before the 2008 election.  Palin couldn’t even list any and to this day she insists that was a gotcha question, when in fact it’s a fair and very pertinent question.  Instead of learning from that failure, Palin doubled down on her attacks against the “lamestream” media and her supporters do the same.  Charles Krauthammer fell prey to vicious attacks from Palin supporters for his comments in a Dec 2010 appearance on Bill O’Reilly (at minute 2:50), for suggesting that Palin should have spent the past two years acquiring policy expertise.  Krauthammer committed the ultimate sacrilege for insisting the Couric interview questions during the 2008 election were not gotcha questions :

Daniel Hannan, in his book, Inventing Freedom: How the English-Speaking Peoples Made the Modern World explains this gap between the elites and ordinary people perfectly:

On July 3, 1940, Admiral Sir James Somerville issued the saddest order of his career. France had been occupied by the Nazis and was required under the armistice terms to transfer its Mediterranean fleet to German command. The British couldn’t allow such a development: Italy had entered the war on Hitler’s side, and control of the Mediterranean was at stake.

Winston Churchill ordered a larger British force to confront the French fleet off the Algerian naval base of Oran. The French admiral, Marcel-Bruno Gensoul, was given three options: to take his ships to British waters and carry on the struggle; to remove them from the theater of operations and keep them in the West Indies for the duration of the war; or to scuttle them.

All three options were turned down and, as the sultry day wore on, a final ultimatum was issued and rejected. At last, Admiral Somerville ordered his ships to shell the French fleet, the only occasion the British and French navies have exchanged hostile fire since Trafalgar. For ten minutes, great geysers of water shot into the sky, soon joined by black smoke from the battleship Bretagne, which was badly hit. No fewer than 1,297 Frenchmen were killed and 351 injured, by far the worst naval losses suffered by France during the war. There were no British casualties.

Somerville was sickened by what he later called “the most unnatural and painful decision” of his life. He passed a grim and silent evening in the mess, where many of his officers had tears in their eyes. But he couldn’t help noticing that, on the lower decks, a very different attitude prevailed, most sailors cheerfully declaring that they “never ’ad no use for them French bastards.”

It was an extreme illustration of an age-old social divide. The English (and later British) upper classes tended to be Francophone and Francophile. Yet theirs was a minority tendency, one that opened them down the centuries to accusations of being effete and unpatriotic.

That class division can be traced right back to the Norman Conquest, which placed England under a French-speaking aristocracy. It was to be more than three centuries before English again became the language of Parliament, the law courts, the monarchy, and the episcopacy. Certain parliamentary procedures are still, a millennium after the Conquest, conducted in Norman-French. The Queen’s approval of legislative bills, for example, is announced with the phrase “La Reine le veult.”

The native English, disinherited and resentful, projected their resentment onto French-speakers in general. The popular stereotype of the Frenchman closely resembled the radicals’ stereotype of the aristocrat: mincing, epicene, sly.

Even today, most Britons suspect (with good reason) that their elites are more Europhile in general, and more Francophile in particular, than the country at large. By “Europhile,” they don’t simply mean readier to accept EU jurisdiction, though that belief is demonstrably accurate. “Europhile” has wider connotations: of snobbery, of contempt for majority opinion, of the smugness of a remote political caste.

The extraordinary thing is that we can find no period in the past nine hundred years when such a sense was absent. The linkage between French manners and upper-class decadence has been made in England (then Britain, then the Anglosphere as a whole) by every generation.

Yesterday, at The American Thinker, I commented a good bit on an article, “The New Jacksonian Rebellion (and Trump, too)”, by J. Robert Smith. He writes:

In the day, weren’t Old Hickory and the Jacksonians “mad as hell?” Jacksonian Democracy was fueled by a righteous indignation — as is today’s liberty rebellion.

When we consider the struggle for freedom (and it’s been ongoing since the Revolution), we need to consider how past movements are amalgamated, synthesized. Today’s liberty rebellion resembles the Jacksonian but has many fathers. Expressions for liberty change, somewhat, to fit the times, but the core principles remain. Liberty is still man’s natural state. Humanity’s direction (as epitomized in the American experience) struggles toward achieving this birthright. It’s nearly instinct.

Though the focus is on Trump, some conservatives — and more Republicans — are unsettled by the liberty rebellion. It’s too Jacksonian in profile for whiggish conservatives — it’s raw, coarse, and full of the frontier; it discounts government more than they’d care. They are the George Wills of the world.

History.com explains Jacksonian Democracy in terms that do show this same sort of the elites vs the ordinary man class struggle:

By the 1820s, these tensions fed into a many-sided crisis of political faith. To the frustration of both self-made men and plebeians, certain eighteenth-century elitist republican assumptions remained strong, especially in the seaboard states, mandating that government be left to a natural aristocracy of virtuous, propertied gentlemen. Simultaneously, some of the looming shapes of nineteenth-century capitalism—chartered corporations, commercial banks, and other private institutions—presaged the consolidation of a new kind of moneyed aristocracy. And increasingly after the War of 1812, government policy seemed to combine the worst of both old and new, favoring the kinds of centralized, broad constructionist, top-down forms of economic development that many thought would aid men of established means while deepening inequalities among whites. Numerous events during and after the misnamed Era of Good Feelings—among them the neo-Federalist rulings of John Marshall’s Supreme Court, the devastating effects of the panic of 1819, the launching of John Quincy Adams’s and Henry Clay’s American System—confirmed a growing impression that power was steadily flowing into the hands of a small, self-confident minority.

Daniel Hannan and J. Robert Smith clearly lay out this common man vs the moneyed elite sentiment, which transcends centuries in American society as surely as in British society. At the turn of the 20th century novelist  Owen Wister, dedicated his popular novel, “The Virginian”, to his close friend, President Theodore Roosevelt.  “The Virginian” introduced America to the iconic cowboy, bold, brave, unfettered by Eastern elite snobbery.  This is one of my favorite American novels and I often cite a quote from it too: “When a man ain’t got no ideas of his own, he’d ought to be kind of o’ careful who he borrows ’em from.” Wister perfectly describes the class gap between the self-made Western cowboy as he prepares to go East to meet the family of his new bride, a New England schoolmarm from a blue-blood family:

“Why, I have been noticing. I used to despise an Eastern man because his clothes were not Western. I was very young then, or maybe not so very young, as very–as what you saw I was when you first came to Bear Creek. A Western man is a good thing. And he generally knows that. But he has a heap to learn. And he generally don’t know that. So I took to watching the Judge’s Eastern visitors. There was that Mr. Ogden especially, from New Yawk–the gentleman that was there the time when I had to sit up all night with the missionary, yu’ know. His clothes pleased me best of all. Fit him so well, and nothing flash. I got my ideas, and when I knew I was going to marry you, I sent my measure East–and I and the tailor are old enemies now.”

Bennington probably was disappointed. To see get out of the train merely a tall man with a usual straw hat, and Scotch homespun suit of a rather better cut than most in Bennington–this was dull. And his conversation–when he indulged in any–seemed fit to come inside the house.

Mrs. Flynt took her revenge by sowing broadcast her thankfulness that poor Sam Bannett had been Molly’s rejected suitor. He had done so much better for himself. Sam had married a rich Miss Van Scootzer, of the second families of Troy; and with their combined riches this happy couple still inhabit the most expensive residence in Hoosic Falls.

But most of Bennington soon began to say that Molly s cow-boy could be invited anywhere and hold his own. The time came when they ceased to speak of him as a cow-boy, and declared that she had shown remarkable sense. But this was not quite yet.

Donald Trump, part and parcel, a creature of that wealthy, elite class that his supporters loathe, has managed to transcend his personal history and take on an outsider personna, carefully crafted to tap into this populist sentiment of his supporters, many who like Palin, rail against the Washington elites, big-money interests, mainstream media and most especially those they deem RINOs.  I was called a pinkie wagger a couple times yesterday while commenting, for holding a different view of Trump.  Most of these people will not be swayed by smart punditry, as Kevin D. Williamson and Jonah Goldberg are finding out, nor will they bother with George Will or Charles Krauthammer, because what is happening is they are closing ranks and it is very much a class struggle.  The more information you provide to show Trump flip-flopped or discredit his vague policy ideas, the more they will hunker down, fuming about “pinkie-waggers” and elitists.  In fact, here’s Sarah Palin’s interview, commiserating still over those unfair media gotcha questions, with Trump.  He, being asked what his favorite Bible verse is, fits her definition of a gotcha question… Truly, he said his favorite book after the Bible was his own book, “The Art of the Deal”, so asking him what his favorite Bible verse was an attempt at a gotcha question???.  You can watch the entire Palin interview of Trump, replete with their mutual adoration society, but very slim on policy or insights on anything more than how they understandhow ordinary people feel: Video here.

Partisan political ideology aside, America remains torn apart by factions and this Trump phenomenon must be forcefully exposed as just that – a populist movement centered on a personality more than firm American founding principles.  They may rally under “freedom and liberty” slogans, but there is no firm principled core to the Trump campaign, because his campaign centers on emotion and ginning up a mob tactics.  In every other breath he spouts his polls numbers as vindication that he is right.  Poll numbers don’t make you right. He should hone his arguments in well-thought out, clear sentences.

America needs to hold all of its presidential candidates’ feet to the fire.  Expecting intelligent, well-reasoned arguments and explanations for their policies and ideas, should be the standard we demand. We need leaders who read extensively, who will study issues carefully and at the heart, being President is the highest political office in the land, so demanding a president who has mastered government policy issues is a must.  Expecting that all of our elected officials, both in Congress and the President possess an in-depth understanding of The Constitution, a breadth of knowledge on US history and a strong foundation on foreign policy issues should be our minimum expectation.

Education is free in America!  Accept no excuses!  I possess no college degree, but I devoted my life to reading as much as I can in my spare time.  I have signed out books from Army post libraries, public libraries, purchased many books and even borrowed books from friends.  The ability to access information and learn is limitless in our internet age.   Assuredly, there are gaps in my education, as my blog will surely affirm, but if someone points out something they think I need to read or points out an issue where what I have written is totally misguided or ill-informed, I don’t get angry.  I get reading and try to learn more.  We must all start demanding excellence, not only from our leaders, but from ourselves as well.  America should be admired for it’s educated citizens, not  considered as the home of ignorant, loudmouth, vulgar slobs!

Trump is a smart man, who has been fabulously successful.  He can afford the best speech coaches, writers and political advisers.  Showing up for a debate unprepared is not to be cheered, it’s a show of arrogance and self-conceit.  Ronald Reagan wrote his speeches out on index cards.  A poster yesterday told me I was supposed to infer what Trump was saying in his ramblings .  Absolutely, dead wrong!!!  The President represents all of us to the entire world and he/she must be a person with clear ideas, excellent public-speaking ability and our American message must reverberate, clear, concise and leave no doubts!  Perhaps, Trump will devote the energy to study policy and perfect presenting his vision for America, and prove that he is the best candidate to represent all of us.  And that’s the key, the President of the United States is not just the President of his partisan followers; he is the President of ALL Americans.

To put America on the right track, every American should read President George Washington’s Farewell Address and understand that railing about partisan political views is fine, but to “make America great again” we need to unite as one nation, bond by common values, and that remains the challenge none of the Presidential candidates has spoken to. Factions will destroy our Republic andPresident Washington warned that it is the “duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.”

Burning the GOP to the ground

Trump’s still waging his scorched earth against the GOP.  At some point Republican leaders should catch on that Trump’s a total fraud, and his actions are helping Hillary.   He sets up these media firestorms deliberately, so that the media hunts down Republican leaders, shoves a microphone in their faces, to stage these hostage videos of the GOP held hostage by the “Insurgent”.  The questions the reporters ask are always the same, “Do you support Donald Trump’s position on whatever crazy, vile, and or offensive thing Trump has just spewed?”  And then the next question is “Do you still support Donald Trump?”  These hostage videos are meant to make the Republican leaders look like amoral a-holes like Trump or hypocrites for supporting such an amoral a-hole as Trump.

Trump has been the center of attention since last Saturday when he attacked the Gold Star father, who spoke at the Democratic Convention last week.  Trump attacked the Gold Star mother who did not speak, but just stood beside her husband.  Trump deliberately creates these reality TV dramas to stay the center of attention in the news and after a few days, he claims it was all a big misunderstanding.  A week or so later, Trump always declares the media was lying and he never said that.  Trump is like Hillary, he can lie through and about anything, without batting an eye.  They both have this disconcerting trait of an extreme sociopath, where a reporter can show them a video of them saying something and both of them will look straight at the reporter and say that they never said that.  It takes a special kind of pathological liar to keep lying, even when shown a video proving they said something.

However,  the Republican leaders continue to have their credibility whittled away by these hostage videos.  This is what the “GOP Insurgency” was all about and Trump wants to make sure no Republican leaders, who won’t kiss his butt, are left standing.  His scorched earth continues unabated.

During the past day Trump started alleging that he is sure the election in November will be rigged against him.  Republicans leaders should be worried, because that is Trump preparing to jump ship before November and leave the GOP hanging.   Whether that was his plan all along or it’s an escape route to avoid a crushing defeat, who knows, but Trump will bail,  just like he bailed on the debates when Cruz and Rubio made him look like the imbecilic clown, he is. Trump will not stick around until November if his polls numbers continue to dive and he continues to come under fire from all sides.  His campaign remains a chaotic mess, because Trump is in charge and there is no other calm head or hand to grab the steering wheel from him, to avoid  this train wreck.

If Trump does bail, he will rail about how the Republicans treated him so badly and unfairly….   you can count on that.

This is the most corrupt presidential election in American history.

The Pieces of the Media Messaging Puzzle

The following is just another long repeat of my dissection of the Clinton mass media saturation/scorched earth strategy, which Trump “borrowed” to wage his “GOP Insurgent” primary campaign.

The reason Trump broke out of the pack was because he used the borrowed Clinton-style mass media saturation/scorched earth strategy.

That strategy is a sophisticated INFORMATION WARFARE strategy introduced into American politics by the Clinton political operatives.

The mass media saturation strategy was developed by far-left Alinskyite Marxists.  The messaging wall required for mass media saturation to succeed requires the active collusion of the mass media NEWS outlets to facilitate it, by actively and relentlessly repeating the messages of the political candidate or activists using this “buzz word, catchphrase spin (talking points messaging). Mass media saturation INFORMATION WARFARE requires mass media collusion to succeed.  This strategy can NOT succeed without mass media messaging dominance to CONTROL (“win”) the 24/7 news cycle (or as the Clinton team dubbed it – the spin cycle).

It is a form of mass media brainwashing and antithetical to American free speech principles!  To succeed this strategy requires MEDIA COLLUSION.

It can NOT work without that media collusion.

Here are the components:

  • Talking points and buzz word messaging, which are relentlessly repeated by both political operatives and the media.
  • Mass media domination of the messaging, to control the 24/7 NEWS cycle, which requires mass media collusion.
  • Relentless repetition of polling data by both the political operatives and media, to facilitate the manufacture of opinion cascades (winning in all the polls)

Only Democrats had successfully used this strategy before Trump, because the liberal media never before gave BILLIONS of dollars in free media for one GOP candidate, to run a “GOP Insurgency” for 8 months straight on all three cable news networks nor did the mass media cable networks ever collude or facilitate in the mass media messaging for any Republican candidate or cause.

Just as the Wikileaks leak has exposed the MEDIA COLLUSION between the DNC and the media to rig the system against Sanders, that SAME media collusion exists between the Potemkin Trump campaign (or the Clinton operatives who were in the shadows masterminding this charade) and the media.

Those electronic trails exist!!!

This mass media saturation requires constant messaging coordination between political operatives and the media facilitators to keep the SPIN cycle moving. Trump’s “win, win, win” is exactly like Carville’s “sex, sex, sex” during impeachment. I feel sure Trump’s MEDIA COLLUSION will be exposed before November.

And the scorched earth part of the strategy is really just the mass media saturation strategy on steroids, replete with endless character assassinations (low-energy Jeb, lyin’ Ted, little Marco, etc.) and a take no prisoners attitude.

Here’s an example of how mass media saturation plays out:

During the Benghazi hearing, Hillary sailed through that hearing and the Dems on the committee never wavered from their talking points.:

“This hearing is a right-wing witch hunt” and

“This is costing the American taxpayers $4.7 million.”

A few of those Dems, to include Congressman Cummings, groveled so shamelessly, that’s it’s obvious they wanted to secure enough Clinton brownie points to merit consideration for cabinet posts in her administration.

Every dem on that committee did what Trump has done for 10 months – repeated the same short talking points for 11 hours straight. They did not deviate. Then the media and some high-profile big name peeps did interviews to dismiss the Republicans and then the news media declared Hillary won and the polling got driven home that she “won”. You can’t break through mass media saturation. It creates a messaging wall – those talking points are what gets driven home. That is the only thing most people remember – it is mass media brainwashing! Watch any dem on TV – they repeat their talking points as often as they can and they circulate these talking points to a virtual army of media folks – TV, print media, online, they even have hordes of them on comment threads, they were on those Excite politics message boards back in 1998. The liberal media colludes to facilitate it.

The use of polling to manufacture opinions cascades drives the polling toward the desired outcome.  The media facilitates this with relentlessly repeating the manufactured polls and on any issue or candidate, the media hypes the polling that bolsters the issue or candidate they are trying to propel ahead.  The media colludes in many ways with this mass media saturation strategy, but through decades of presenting polls as if they are a legitimate representation of the “will of the people”, the American people have been conditioned to accept polling data as sacrosanct.  Polls are just the opinions of a very small number of Americans and can be easily manipulated by both the sampling groups and how the questions are worded or even by how certain words are emphasized while asking the question.

Pundits and journalists saying something like, “Trump is leading in all the polls, don’t you need to support your leader?” to other Republican candidates in the primary helped foster this aura of legitimacy about poll numbers.  The media and political operatives also often use polls number to marginalize and silence opposing viewpoints.  For instance on a topic like gay marriage, where aggressive mass media saturation was used to mainstream that, media pundits or journalists will cast questions to someone who is opposed to gay marriage like, “Well, 65% of Americans support gay marriage, so isn’t your view out of the mainstream?”  This type of questioning casts the person with the opposing view as a fringe kook.  It works very effectively to silence dissent and to strong-arm compliance to the manufactured “public opinion”.

This same strategy is how Bill Clinton survived impeachment, where the scorched earth trashed anyone connected with the impeachment and then the Clinton mouthpieces were out there selling manufactured polling, to create the impression that the American people supported Bill Clinton and that the impeachment was just a “vast, right-wing witch hunt.”  In recent years the “hate speech” tactic has also been hyped in manufactured polling, to silence dissent.  Most Americans don’t want to be cast as bigots, racists or haters, so any poll presenting a liberal cause as over 50% of Americans support that view, is spun to cast anyone who disagrees as all three wrapped into one.

Above: I found this when I was a teenager.  It is one of my prize possessions.  I was with my parents looking in an old shed behind an old house, that was slated to be torn down for a new road to go through.  This report, along with learning how to play a game, called Diplomacy, with a group of boys after school, fueled my interest in military strategy.

I have been studying the Clinton “spin” since it first entered American politics and I have been studying propaganda techniques, with an emphasis on Soviet and Eastern bloc propaganda since 1980, when I was a young solider.

It took me several years in the 90s to figure out the polling data kabuki part of the strategy.  Systems analysis has always been something I do, long before I even knew it was called “systems analysis”.  I like to break down systems (mechanical, political, living, etc.) into parts and then I like to figure out how the parts work together to make the system work.  I like to figure out the flaws in systems too.  I suppose that’s why I became so interested in military strategy in my teens, because I believe that is the pinnacle of strategic-thinking.  In my opinion, it surpasses political and geopolitical strategy as far as organization goes.

This mass media saturation strategy has distinctive parts to it and it can be proven with electronic evidence on the messaging coordination, just like the Wikileaks leak exposed the DNC and media collusion.  Sure, Trump is very talented at reading the mood of the people and he has a con man’s knack for selling people anything, but this strategy relies on mass media messaging collusion and the polling kabuki to create an impenetrable messaging wall.  The relentless repetition across large swaths of the media “battlefield” assures it will dominate.

There’s plenty of information on how opinion cascades work to move public opinion via repetition messaging and polling data. Cass Sunstein has written about it – he’s into social engineering using mass media manipulation (“nudging” the American people into the “proper” views). I wrote about this back in 1998 on the Excite message boards, where Clinton operatives descended like Genghis Khan’s horde to silence opposing views. I know how far they will go to silence opposing views.  My Messages of mhere story, albeit snarky and written in that annoying third person, is the truth.  All of the people mentioned exist in real life.  I used the user name “mhere” on the Excite message boards.

Only Sanders and Cruz made any dent against the mass media saturation/scorched earth strategy and they did it by grassroots campaigning – not with mass media campaigning.  As Trump and the media have hyped how many millions Jeb’s campaign spent on ads and got nowhere, they don’t mention the BILLIONS of dollars in free media and 24/7 NEWS cycle control the media GAVE  to Trump.  Paid ads can NOT compete with a candidate who has 24/7 NEWS cycle control in the mass media, replete with relentless repetition of messaging and manufactured opinion polls.

Liberal CNN and MSNBC gave Trump 24/7 coverage for 8 months to run his “GOP Insurgency”, but in late February they switched to Clinton scorched earth, where there was about a week and half of “Trump the fascist” incidents, which led up to that Chicago rally, where Soros paid mobs were waiting. Trump cancelled that rally, but after that CNN and MSNBC stopped giving Trump the 24/7 megaphone.

FOX has stayed all-in for Trump. Liberal news networks don’t “give” Republicans 24/7 news cycle control and they sure don’t give them that for 8 months straight. It was a set-up to throw the GOP primary into chaos.

February 28, 2016 – Trump retweets a Mussolini quote and refuses to denounce David Duke on a Sunday talk show.

March 3, 2016 – GOP debate where Trump defends Mussolini quote and doubles down on his committing war crimes to defeat ISIS.

March 5, 2016 – Trump does a staged raised arm pledge rally where the Nuremberg imagery smacked you in the face. He read a prepared card with that pledge. I’d love to know who came up with that pledge rally idea and if it was Trump, did anyone try to dissuade him.

March 10, 2016 – Michelle Fields claims she was strong-armed by Lewandowski leaving a press briefing. I have wondered if he was a handy Clinton middleman, because it sure seemed like he was set-up as the thug in that Michelle Fields controversy. I watched that video over and over and did not see him grab her arm where the bruises were and I believe she sounded very deceptive in interviews.

The Trump controversy builds. And then he walked into the home of wacko leftist central, Chicago.  The timeline suggests that  Trump was duped into setting up his own bonfire and lighting it, before he was tossed into it by the left-wing mob.

March 12, 2016 – Leftist ground zero, Chicago, Trump faces massive organized leftist mobs and cancels his rally.

Those protests in Chicago were staged and funded by leftists – and Soros very likely played a large role.  This riot in San Jose is just part of that continued staged agitation propaganda to try to incite violent clashes with Trump supporters.  I still wonder who in Trump’s campaign egged him on with this strong-man themed garbage?  Was that pledge rally a Trump brain storm or was Trump sold on it?   Soros and other far-left groups are likely funding, organizing and staging these riots and street clashes, but who in Trump’s campaign came up with these strong-man talking points in the first place???   That’s what I would like to know, because it sure looks like he was massively set-up.  When he did that pledge rally, where the liberal press was primed with making that Nuremberg rally comparison immediately, almost like they had received some talking points.  Was there MEDIA COLLUSION and if so, with whom???

Note:   CNN banned key Trump mouthpiece, Roger Stone in late February and MSNBC banned Stone in April, rather extreme measures to silence Trump’s former campaign manager.  Oddly, enough CNN immediately hired Corey Lewandowski, in June,  when he was fired as the Trump campaign manager, which certainly makes me wonder if Lewandowski was a Clinton mole in the Potemkin Trump campaign all along.

FOX News opened shop to fuel the right-wing cable news venue to counter the liberal news in America.  FOX News has gone all-in to promote the Trump “GOP Insurgency”.   Why FOX is all-in for Trump is an open question.  The American CEO of FOX News, Roger Ailes, was fired on the very same day as Donald Trump became the Republican nominee, with the news reporting that Rupert Murdoch would be running FOX News for now.  Very strange coincidence with that timing, in light of this unprecedented mass media collusion to promote the GOP Insurgent.

The mass media also colludes to aid and abet other leftist political objectives.  Hostile foreign intelligence agencies engage in active measures – some have stayed active to destroy America from within for many decades.  The Chinese and Russian intelligence services operate robust efforts to fuel anti-American beliefs within America, in all of our institutions, particularly in our mass media and educational system.  Soros funds much on the left – to include BLM. Saudi Arabia and some other Arab states have funded the spread of Wahhabism in black communities, and black colleges, since the late 1970s.   The Obama collusion with the black grievance purveyors, like Al Sharpton, are working to incite racial tensions, to use as cover, to implement their political agenda, like federal control of policing and implementation of draconian speech codes.  Even, American allies operate efforts to influence the mass media in America.

America’s Best Hope

Here’s a run-down of this Hillary versus Trump match-up.

I have been saying since last Fall that Bill Clinton’s triangulation strategy was in play – Bernie the kook on the left, Trump the kook on the right, with the path up the middle cleared for Hillary to march to the White House.  She spent almost a year trying to reinvent herself and conjure up this grandmotherly, Ms love and kindness shtick, beginning with soft soap late night TV appearances and daytime talk shows geared toward women.

I believe that somewhere in that Potemkin Trump campaign there were Clinton sewer rats scurrying in the dark corners.  I wondered for a long time whether Trump was in cahoots with the Clintons or a massive dupe.  I believe he was a dupe.  I suspect that Lewandowski was a go-between between Clinton operatives and Trump. Stone was pushed out last August, but then by late Feb. Stone and some GOP friends of Trump convinced Trump to hire Stone’s old business partner, Manafort.  After several skirmishes, Lewandowski left the Trump campaign and was immediately hired by CNN.

The thing about Trump is that while he is a total ignoramus on policy, he is a genius at self-promotion and he has the highly attuned ability of a con man to read his marks.

I believe that Hillary and Trump are two sides of the same extreme personality disorder.  He wants the presidency as a combination of the ultimate vanity purchase and a belief that only he can “make America great again”.  She believes being the FIRST female President of the United States is her destiny.  She has believed this probably since her early teens and every move she has made in her life has been geared toward that end.  Trump has dabbled with the thought of being President for decades, but it hasn’t been his all-consuming quest.  And beyond that, Hillary has already gone “very far” beyond the bounds of decency and the law to stay on track to achieve her destiny.  I think she would do just about anything at this point, to win, but I think Trump still has some moral boundaries and a family who keeps trying to pull him back.  Hillary has Bill, who owes her big time for saving him over and over.   He is going all-out to strong-arm all the Dems and do whatever is necessary

Just from a female perspective, and having known a few women like Hillary, my prediction is that Hillary will win in November.

Hillary will stealthily break every law necessary to win.  The Democratic party, which is a huge organized crime syndicate and every power of the executive branch of our government will go toward assuring she wins.  The media is overwhelmingly liberal and will carry her messaging.

Trump will bluster and make alarming statements, which will feed Hillary’s narrative that he is dangerous, and the GOP, felled by the “GOP Insurgent”, is in disarray.

And what I believe is the best hope for America is NEITHER Hillary nor Trump.

I believe America’s best hope is for the WHOLESALE PUBLIC CORRUPTION to be fully exposed to the American people!

Happy Trails

In light of this Wikileaks email dump and the tizzy about “Russian involvement”, well, imagine the fun once Putin starts dumping some of those dull “yoga schedules and wedding plans” deleted emails he’s sitting on from Queen Hillary’s private email server.  Oh, I suppose we will find out if Bill Clinton really doesn’t use email, lol, among how Hillary’s vast, spidery wholesale brokering of her State Department position, power and access were used to funnel money through the Clinton Foundation for personal enrichment.  The Clinton Foundation should make her cattle futures look like dried up cow chips…   And, the one thing you can count on with Hillary and Bill – they are sloppy operators, who leave a lot of trails and their cover-ups are always excessive, paranoid reactionary schemes to silence everyone they can.  Trust me on that one.

In 2006, my husband and I were driving to New Mexico to visit our son, who was in the Air Force and getting ready to deploy to Iraq.  We wanted to see him before he left.  It was nighttime and we were driving through some town in West TX called Bovina, when my son called and asked where we were.  I told him we were going through Bovina and I told him it’s really foggy, but this fog is brownish and the smell is really horrid.   He said, “Oh, that’s just “shit fog”.”  He told me that’s what people on his Air Force base call it, as that base also was right outside a cow town.  He said these cow towns, where large herds of cattle are brought into town and held in pens, are like that, where the cow crap gets in the air and mixed with the fog.  So, expect before Putin is done leaking, the Clinton Foundation will be engulfed in a massive cloud of  “shit fog”.

Well, now that the President Obama has thrown the full force of  his presidency behind Hillary, trying to rewrite her private email server narrative as just a careless mistake, but NOT criminal, we shall see if her email server really was hacked by hostile countries’ intelligence.

What if Putin starts leaking the most damaging emails, his intelligence services are sitting on, in Western media?

The plot might still have a few unexpected twists and turns in the very near future.

The ball is now in Putin’s court and I wonder if he is going to hold his cards, to use later, or release enough to destroy Hillary politically now?

These emails show clear MEDIA COLLUSION to undermine Sanders.  I am sure there was MEDIA COLLUSION between the Trump campaign (or Bill Clinton’s minions) to aid the “GOP Insurgency” too, so Trump and his groupies might not want to scream foul about Hillary and the DNC too loudly.

This entire campaign is a total fraud and the so-called “free press” is a national disgrace and a huge player in this CORRUPT, RIGGED system.

If the press COLLUDES with candidates to spread their propaganda and to help destroy opposing candidates,  the American people are just dupes to sophisticated propaganda and really are the “low-information voters” the left talks about or Trump’s 5th Avenue Loyalists, who will follow him even if he shoots someone on 5th Avenue.  Now the part that isn’t out in the open yet is the POLLING KABUKI – where the media uses polls to brainwash and push public opinion to whatever side of issues or whichever candidates they are SELLING.  This combination of coordinated talking points messaging, collusion with the media and then the reinforcement with relentless repetition of polling data is INFORMATION WARFARE being waged against the American people by the corrupt Democratic political machine.

FOX News opened shop in America to fuel the right-wing, in massive agitation propaganda efforts.  Or as the left dubbed it (Faux News). FOX News has gone all-in to promote the Trump “GOP Insurgency”.  Hostile foreign intelligence agencies engage in active measures – some have stayed active to destroy America from within for many decades.  Soros funds much on the left – to include BLM. Saudi Arabia and some other Arab states have funded the spread of Wahhabism in black communities, and black colleges, since the late 1970s.  Americans, by and large, prefer to remain Trump’s 5th Avenue Loyalists or the left’s Low-information voters – they remain mindless idiots.

The mass media saturation strategy was developed by far-left Alinskyite Marxists.  The messaging wall required for mass media saturation to succeed requires the active collusion of the mass media NEWS outlets to facilitate it, by actively and relentlessly repeating the messages of the political candidate or activists using this “buzz word, catchphrase spin. Mass media saturation INFORMATION WARFARE requires mass media collusion to succeed.  This strategy can NOT succeed without mass media messaging dominance to CONTROL (“win”) the 24/7 news cycle (or as the Clinton team dubbed it – the spin cycle).

SPIN is prepackaged, mass distributed LIES to manipulate public opinion by manufacturing opinion cascades.  It is a very sophisticated, and very complex mass media form of INFORMATION WARFARE.  It can NOT be waged by a couple of inexperienced staffers from the Potemkin Trump campaign staff.

Coincidences?

Coincidence?  Trump borrowed the Clinton mass media saturation/scorched earth strategy to wage his “GOP Insurgency”, which relied on media elite collusion to give him 24/7 news cycle control for the primary.  CNN and MSNBC  switched back in April to running the Clinton scorched earth to take down Trump, but that left FOX as the all-in for Trump channel.

So, here we are today where the GOP dies and becomes the Party of Trump and oddly enough, FOX News loses it’s American CEO, a former Republican media consultant, and now will be run by Rupert Murdoch, a mega-rich foreigner with no loyalty to America.

One can only wonder that FOX – the “conservative-leaning”, American flag-waving channel loses it’s American CEO on the very same day that the GOP turns over it’s party to a total fraud, NY liberal, who hired first Roger Stone (a crook), then Lewandowski (a thug), and then Manafort (an even bigger crook) to orchestrate his campaign.

On the very same day Trump secures the GOP nomination, the last bastion where he has a 24/7 loyal cheerleading section on cable news also changes leadership.  We’re in July or I might fancifully wonder if the Ides of March are upon the GOP….

The coincidental timing is amazing.

The War about Words (Part 2)

Words matter.

A few posts back I wrote Part I of the “War about Words”, which those aligned with the political left will dismiss without any consideration, because it’s critical of President Obama and Hillary Clinton.  The same instant dismissal or obfuscations occur among the political right too, when the left attacks one of their political figures and then we have the Trump contingent too, who reject all criticisms of Trump, out of a belief that he is the last best hope for America.

Often my views draw fire from all sides, because I’m one of those annoying people who says what I think, regardless whether it agrees with a particular partisan or political agenda or whether it goes against all the “expert” opinion.  I prefer to think not only for myself, but of myself as an American, first, last, always.  I am free to think whatever the heck I want.  That’s the wonder of America!

As a child, my mother sent us off to vacation Bible school at our village church (yes, PA still has villages) and in fact, one of my direct ancestors donated the land for that church during the early settlement of that area of northeast PA in the late 1700s.  That church was a Lutheran church, but a Calvary Baptist church from another town ran a vacation Bible school in the summer too and they had a bus that picked up kids.  My mother let us go to that church’s vacation Bible school several summers.   They had all sorts of really interesting crafts and activities, but one summer, two women from that church took me aside and told me that girls are supposed to wear dresses and not cut their hair, which made me feel a deep sense of rebellion, as I sat there in shorts and with short hair.  These ladies also told me that I needed to say I wanted “to be saved” or I was going to hell.

Ordinarily, I am a crybaby, coward, but the more these two women lectured me, the more resentful and rebellious I became, because quite frankly, my church never used the words “being saved”, so I did not even understand the phrase.  I politely told these two ladies that I didn’t want “to be saved” .  They kept pushing and finally I rebelled and told them that no matter what they said, I wasn’t going to say that.  They told me I was going to hell.  When I got home, I sat at the kitchen table and bawled, because confrontations always upset me.  When I poured out my story, my mother told me I wasn’t going back there.

From where I stand, it sure looks like the partisan political factions’ endless fighting has America on the precipice that President George Washington warned about in his Farewell Address.  Yesterday, FBI Director, James Comey, laid out the entire list of crimes Hillary Clinton committed by grossly negligent handling of classified information, through the setting up of a home-brew email server in her home.  Director Comey decided not to recommend an indictment, citing that a “reasonable” prosecutor would not bring charges in this case.  Of course, once again this announcement threw the pundits into an exploding heads frenzy, because Director Comey  said Hillary Clinton’s actions were “extremely careless” rather than “grossly negligent”, but is there really a difference between the two?

Then Director Comey  added the excuse that he found no malicious intent or intent to harm America in her actions.  Of course, proving intent isn’t even required to indict under the statute, but here again, the words he carefully chose were meant to bury the email server scandal and smacked of being obviously for partisan political purposes.  Those church women meant well, but the words they wanted me to say, were words I didn’t understand or believe.  I believe Director James Comey decided to use words he fully understands, but didn’t really believe – I believe he caved to partisan political pressure from the White House.  I believe he wanted to avoid a “constitutional crisis”, because the corruption goes all the way to the White House.

Today, many liberal news outlets were already burying Hillary’s email server scandal and focusing on Trump’s antics.  To be fair, Trump hands them endless fodder with his imprudent, bizarre comments, like his latest praise of the late, brutal dictator, Saddam Hussein’s “no questions asked” internal policing policies against terrorists.   Saddam killed a lot of terrorists inside Iraq, heck, he murdered ethnic minorities too.  Trump likes strong-man leadership, but Saddam also gave safe haven to many terrorists leaders and funded terrorism abroad.

As, I’ve repeated, ad nauseum, since last Fall, Trump’s “GOP Insurgency”, waged with BILLIONS of dollars of free media, is a gift that continues giving to the Democrats, leaving the GOP in shambles, heading into a presidential election in November.  The Democrats though are uniting around Hillary, despite the Bernie Sanders insurgency campaign, paid for by private campaign donations and with far-less media attention.  The obvious, unfair and overt, media collusion by big media elites to facilitate the “GOP Insurgency”, found the media on the defensive with excuses for the obvious disparate media coverage… phrases like “earned media”, other candidates turn down interviews, etc., but make no mistake about the SPIN cycle form of INFORMATION WARFARE being waged by the political Left in America.

This SPIN is a totalitarian effort to control the ostensibly free mass media, through an orchestrated mass media saturation strategy,  using relentless repetition of messages (the mindless talking points messaging), media collusion to disseminate those messages and a constant reinforcement of the “will of people” expressed through manufactured opinion cascades, that keep stating what the majority of Americans believe…….based on a relentless repetition of polling data (an unscientific sampling of a few  people’s opinions extrapolated as reflecting the opinions of all Americans).  The combination of messaging control and manufactured opinion cascades speaks to overt mass brainwashing by political and mass media elites and an overt long-term effort to quell free speech, but this form of INFORMATION WARFARE also grossly tips the balance to one political party’s agenda.  This INFORMATION WARFARE strategy assures the Left’s political agenda dominates and becomes the “mainstream opinion”.  Just watch how the relentless repetition turned a terrorist attack into an attack on Christians who oppose gay marriage and more gun control.  The Left also mobilizes celebrity and big name “experts” to aid  their SPIN operations.

Oh, but look how they covered Trump?  Doesn’t that prove the media does give Republicans” ample coverage, well, that depends on how you define “Republican”…..  and the media told us Trump is the “GOP Insurgent intent on burning down the GOP establishment”.  Alas, here again, we come up against definitions.  What is the GOP establishment, if not the GOP?

With Hillary Clinton’s email server scandal, the liberal media will do damage control for Hillary, just like they aided leftist partisans to rewrite that Orlando “narrative” within two weeks.   In that Orlando case, a short-lived brouhaha ensued when the Justice Department tried to censor  the shooter’s 911 call and remove the shooter’s references to Islamic terrorism (the shooter pledged allegiance to ISIS and declared he was committing jihad).   Under a public backlash, Lynch released the 911 tape, but the shooter’s words even then were altered.

Words matter a great deal to those who use them to control public perception and manipulate the truth.  The Orlando shooting was usurped and turned into blaming Christian anti-gay people for the hate and promoting more gun control legislation.  Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, came out and declared we need more “love” to combat “hate”, thus advancing the left’s narrative to make it about right-wing haters and gun control rather than about radical Islamic terrorism.

In this email server scandal there’s a discernible series of actions by key players in the past week, that made it obvious that the Obama administration wanted this scandal to go away very quickly.

President Obama arranged last week to hit the campaign trail with Hillary Clinton yesterday.  Loretta Lynch had a clandestine 3o minute meeting with former president, Bill Clinton, at the airport in Phoenix last week.  Lynch described that meeting as just a chat about grandchildren, golf and BREXIT.  She played that meeting off with a news conference, proclaiming she would accept the recommendation of the FBI on the email server case.  Just like that the news broke that the FBI would interview Hillary Clinton on Saturday (a holiday weekend no less).  And on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 Director Comey came out and announced no reasonable prosecutor would indict.  Today, Loretta Lynch came out and said she accepted Director Comey’s recommendation.  Case closed.  Hillary Clinton’s minions are out in full force, saying  “it’s time to move on”.

Like rats stuck on a wheel, the Republicans in Congress, came out and announced they are going to have Director Comey testify before Congress tomorrow, to answer their questions about his decision not to recommend an indictment of Hillary Clinton.  The hearings that go nowhere again……. it’s like being trapped in a strategy that is doomed to fail and you’d think the Republicans would learn that they never win.  The Dems, with their liberal friends, control almost all the big media in America and their talking points messaging always controls who wins.

This is like constantly repeating a script that always ends the same way or that Einstein quote about people who do the same thing over and over and expect a different outcome.  The media and the Clinton team will opine, using their perennially tired, but always successful talking point….  “this is another right-wing witch hunt”.  The Republicans will pontificate, the media will declare Hillary won, and she will continue her march to the White House, because here’s the truth – she really is ABOVE THE LAW.

Today, I clicked on some news sites that are liberal-leaning and Hillary’s email server wasn’t a top news story, but Donald Trump’s Saddam Hussein comment was.  The liberal media was “moving on”.  Within a few more days, the email server scandal will be old news and besides FOX News talking to Trump supporters and right-wing online sites, the Clinton propaganda squad can add another media messaging coup feather to their cap.

Having personally experienced what happens if you get in the way of the Clinton propaganda efforts, during the impeachment scandal, I feel compelled to keep speaking out and to keep trying to find a way to expose their criminal abuse of power.  The details of my experience are under the Messages of mhere tab on my home page, but what I want to talk about here is what made me so determined to fight them then and what makes me determined to fight to expose their corruption now.  America can’t survive if political machines can control the media and blatantly subvert the law.  A common thread, that the pollsters and pundits keep telling us drove the Trump and Sanders “insurgent” campaigns, is American discontent with powerful elites playing by a different set of rules and that the system is rigged.

America is a unique experiment in the history of world government.  Americans believe in individual liberty:

In the post right before this one, I linked to a piece at the Legal Insurrection blog, where  William A Jacobson relates a Twitter exchange with Karol Marcowicz that precisely captures the perilous point America is at.  Jacobson writes:

The best truly big picture view I saw was from Karol Markowicz, a columnist for the NY Post and an ex-Soviet who moved the the United States as a child.

In response to the Comey verdict, Markowicz tweeted out a statement as to how others who came from the USSR expected no other result:

.“Guys, the ex-president’s wife was never going to get indicted.”-all my USSR-born friends”

Jacobson goes on to say:

“She linked in the tweet to a post of hers on her personal website from 2013, which has this sentence in it referring to Americans who complained about their government:

“They weren’t born in a country where hundreds of years of backward government had led to this kind of cynicism that gets passed on from parents to children.”

I understood what she meant. While I wasn’t born in and didn’t grow up in the USSR, I studied there and vicariously came to know the cynicism of the system, particularly through refusenikfriends.

It wasn’t just that the powerful were above the law or there was no rule of law. It was in another dimension.

I have been thinking a great deal about what I consider cultural DNA, with how peoples the world over develop patterns of behavior ( culture) that endure, despite the changes in government.  In fact, the people’s behavior determines how long and how much control they will tolerate from their government, to maintain the status quo and social order.

Thinking about what to write in this Part 2 post, I ordered a book, which I had read about a long while back, that explains the Russian cultural DNA, a few years after Alexis de Tocqueville traveled to America.  That cultural DNA still persists in Russia today.  The book is “Letters from Russia” and like de Tocqueville’s, “Democracy in America”, the book on Russia was written by another French nobleman, Astolphe de Custine.  Although his trip to Russia in 1839 was only three months long,  he captured life in Russia under the despot, Czar Nicholas I, in such prescient, stark detail, that historians still study his letters.  His book was banned by both, Czar Nicholas I and the Bolsheviks, who didn’t much like Custine’s letters.  I can relate, heck, my posts on the Excite message boards in 1998 evoked quite a response too and there I was fighting hordes of new posters who showed up to take over the boards with the Clinton talking points……… hummm, I likened them to being like Genghis Khan.

In their own words these two French noblemen present their opinions on the cultural DNA differences between a people who accept rulers and a people who don’t.  In 1996, renowned journalist, Steven Erlanger, wrote a NY Times piece on Custine’s book, that gives you Custine in his own words.  Here’s a short excerpt:

“In Russia, everything you notice, and everything that happens around you, has a terrifying uniformity; and the first thought that comes into the traveler’s mind, as he contemplates this symmetry, is that such entire consistency and regularity, so contrary to the natural inclination of mankind, cannot have been achieved and could not survive without violence. . . . Officially, such brutal tyranny is called respect for unity and love of order; and this bitter fruit of despotism appears so precious to the methodical mind that you are told it cannot be purchased at too high a price.

Faced with the pervasiveness of the secret police and the immensity of the bureaucracy, Custine at first is shocked. He sees the dead weight that these hordes of state employees place on Russia, and their own dehumanization.

Among Russian officials, attention to detail is quite compatible with disorganization. They go to a great deal of trouble to achieve some petty end, never satisfed that they have done enough to demonstrate their zeal. Consequently, in this rivalry between employees, one formality does not guarantee the foreigner against another. It is like a pillaging army: because the traveler has passed through the hands of one regiment, this does not prevent him from meeting another, or a third, and each of these bands spaced out along his route vies with the last in harassing him.”

Interestingly, in the introduction to “Letters from Russia”, editor, Anka Muhlstein,  presents the bulls-eye de Tocqueville quote on the difference between America and Russia:

“There are on earth today two great peoples who, having started from different points, seem to be advancing towards the same end: they are the Russians and the Anglo-Americans.  They both grew up in darkness and whilst Europeans were busy elsewhere, they suddenly placed themselves in the forefront of nations, and the world learned at almost the same time of their births and their greatness

All other nations seem, more or less, to have reached the limits nature has assigned to them and within which they now need only to remain, but those two are still growing…. America is struggling against obstacles of nature,; Russia against men…. The principal means of action for the one is liberty, for the other servitude.”

America is the only place on earth that broke that mold completely and set up a government meant for the people to have control over the government and for the individual’s rights to be paramount.

We are a nation built by free-thinking and free-acting citizens.

Central to our culture is the belief that all men are equal before the law and that the rule of law applies to EVERYONE.  This week’s disgraceful display of open corruption and obvious undue political influence from the White House, all for partisan purposes, made me wonder if we are now a banana republic.

For a long while, years in fact, I have been studying the Clinton SPIN and then the Obama NARRATIVE and now we have Trump borrowing the Clinton SPIN too and here’s truth – SPIN is the American people allowing their elected leaders to bold-faced LIE to them.

Every politician who engages in the talking points messaging is using a totalitarian messaging tactic to CONTROL the NEWS the American people receive. That relentless repetition is a form of mass media brainwashing of the people.

Allowing this attack on American FREE speech principles to advance without even a recognition of how pernicious and corrupting it is, will lead to not only a surrender of our free speech, but will allow those with power to dictate the “facts” and which words we MUST use.  They will have the power to impose what “truths” we must believe and which “truths” we can speak.

I refuse to ever submit to tyranny and instead of accepting that it’s the “old news, let’s move on”, Americans need to think long and hard if they want to be passive sheep fed what to believe or if they want to be FREE.  Being FREE isn’t just about “rights”, it requires people willing to do their duty as good citizens too.

Despite Director Comey’s attempt to kick the can down the road, a constitutional crisis is already upon us, because it’s now out in the open that Hillary Clinton did egregiously and knowingly break the law. Both the Director of the FBI and the Attorney General of the United States did nothing to hold her accountable.  This isn’t just about Hillary’s corruption though, it’s the Clinton political machine, a vast, network at work.  I  got burned by that machine during impeachment, where a retired general was fed false information about me and sent to silence me.  That general became a FOB and continues to be a hack to sell the Clinton and Democrat agenda.  Lacking any way to prove  what happened to me has kept me from naming names.  I already tried contacting several journalists a long time ago and offered them the real names of everyone in my Messages of mhere story.  None of them even responded and despite the escalating exposure of the Clinton corruption, her own private email server to conduct all of her official State Department business, her off-the-books private team of intelligence operatives, Sidney Blumenthal and Tyler Drumheller, does it sound so far-fetched that she would hunt down an annoying poster on a popular message boards, whose comments were being borrowed and used by GOP pundits to break through their SPIN?  I believe in their investigation into who I am, they came across this retired general who hates my guts and who jumped at the chance to get even with me.   I believe the Clinton machine set the attack on me in motion as a part of their vast network of operations,  to make sure Bill Clinton survived impeachment.  I believe they sank to corrupting the military chain of command in the attack on me.  Would anyone even care, even if I could prove it?

Do Americans still have the true grit necessary to save our republic?  I have my doubts.   Everyone is looking for either corrupt Hillary and con man Trump to save our republic, but really this is going to take all of us to put in our oars and help row.
