In Trump/Russian Collusion narrative all roads lead back to the Clintons

If you’re wondering how I skipped writing any blog posts about the Dems vicious smear campaign against Brett Kavanaugh, well the truth is I’ve been pretty active on Twitter offering my opinions daily and since I still have to take care of my husband and get some chores done around the house, I didn’t have the time or energy to focus on writing blog posts too.  Now that things seem to have settled down a bit, I’m going to try to get some blog posts written.

Hillary Clinton, our own Catherine de’ Medici, gave a very creepy interview to Christiane Amanpour, stating Democrats can’t be civil now, well just watch her eyes as she carefully enunciates every word.

Hillary is on the warpath.

Brett Kavanaugh worked for Ken Starr on the Clinton Impeachment investigation, so this was a very personal defeat for her.

All of the vicious, orchestrated media SPIN attacks on Kavanaugh by Dems looked like vintage Carville-type character assassination efforts from the Clinton machine.  The Dems weren’t out just to stop Kavanaugh from being confirmed to sit on the Supreme Court; they wanted to destroy his life completely.

So, we’ve got Hillary on the warpath, while the truth behind the Steele dossier SPIN effort unravels more each week.

On October 4, 2018, the former top lawyer for the FBI, James Baker, testified to Congress that Michael Sussmann, a lawyer with Perkins Coie, approached him with documents  and computer storage devices  on Russian hacking and Russian election meddling.

Perkins Coie is the law firm that was reported to have hired and paid GPS Fusion, who in turn hired Steele to investigate Trump’s activities in Russia.  Perkins Coie worked for the DNC and Hillary campaign:

“Sources familiar with Baker’s testimony to the House Judiciary and House Oversight & Government Reform Committees tell The Daily Caller News Foundation that he said Sussmann approached him for the meeting, which occurred in late summer or early fall 2016.

The meeting took place before the FBI submitted an application for its first FISA warrant against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. That warrant application, which was granted on Oct. 21, 2016, relied heavily on unverified allegations made in the report authored by former British spy Christopher Steele.

Steele had been hired by Fusion GPS in June 2016 to investigate Trump.

It is unclear exactly what information Sussmann, a former Justice Department prosecutor, provided to Baker and whether any of it related to the dossier. Sources tell TheDCNF that Baker testified that he did not read through the documents. He also testified that the meeting was atypical.

Sussmann, a former cybercrimes prosecutor, led the DNC’s effort to respond to Russian cyber attacks during the 2016 campaign. Sussmann helped hire CrowdStrike, the cybersecurity firm that identified Russia as being behind the intrusion.”

So, this DNC/Clinton-connected lawyer, Michael Sussmann hand-delivered information to the top lawyer at the FBI before the Carter Page FISA warrant application and this same lawyer led the DNC’s efforts to respond to Russian cyber attacks during 2016 and helped hire CrowdStrike, rather than turn the DNC servers over to FBI investigators...  I recall James Comey struggling for an explanation for why this happened.  1/10/17 report from The Hill:

“The FBI requested direct access to the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) hacked computer servers but was denied, Director James Comey told lawmakers on Tuesday.

The bureau made “multiple requests at different levels,” according to Comey, but ultimately struck an agreement with the DNC that a “highly respected private company” would get access and share what it found with investigators.

“We’d always prefer to have access hands-on ourselves if that’s possible,” Comey said, noting that he didn’t know why the DNC rebuffed the FBI’s request.”

The director was testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee in a rare open session on Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election.”

Then when Trump won the election, Glenn Simpson met with Bruce Ohr and provided Ohr with every uncorroborated bit of dirt GPC Fusion and Christopher Steele developed.  Reading this 8/9/18 piece by John Soloman, the Simpson/Steele allegations cover all the big news media Trump/Russian collusion “explosive reports”. It’s obvious Dem operatives were coordinating these SPIN media attacks against Trump to feed their #Resist effort, incite Trump and keep Republicans divided.

However, even more disturbing is all roads in the Trump/Russian collusion story lead back the Clinton campaign/Dem operatives.  Even the touted former Russian intelligence officer cited in the Howard Blum Vanity Fair piece, according to Bruce Ohr’s notes, appears to have been in the US, not Moscow…  John Soloman explains:

“Those are just some of the highlights from the day that Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson — paid by Hillary Clinton’s campaign to find dirt on her GOP rival — met secretly with a top Justice Department official, right after Trump won the 2016 election.

And all of it was captured in the official’s handwritten notes — a contemporaneous record that intelligence professionals tell me exposes the flaws plaguing the early Russia collusion case.

For example, Simpson told then-Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr during the Dec. 10, 2016, meeting in a Washington coffee shop that he believed Trump’s longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen, was the “go-between from Russia to the Trump campaign.”

Yet, Simpson allegedly acknowledged that most of the information Fusion GPS and British intelligence operative Christopher Steele developed did not come from sources inside Moscow. “Much of the collection about the Trump campaign ties to Russia comes from a former Russian intelligence officer (? not entirely clear) who lives in the U.S.,” Ohr scribbled in his notes.”

The Soloman article is full of fascinating bits of information.  So, the former Russian intelligence officer wasn’t in Moscow???  He was in the US and no one knows who he is???  The FBI didn’t try to figure this out immediately???  If you have some spare time, juxtapose these reports with the October 31, 2016,  David Corn, Dem sleaze spinmeister, account:

Kind of too little, too late

Since Hillary lost the election many women are very angry.   The Left, which includes most of the mainstream media began a concerted effort to delegitimize President Trump immediately following the election.   The Left including many prominent Democrats in Congress,  engaged in disgusting spin efforts to convince Americans we needed to ditch the electoral college and they hyped “Russian collusion” hysteria.  There were even bizarre hysterical tweets from people like Rosie O’Donnell promoting the idea of a military coup , with Congress installing one of the generals as president, all to stop President Trump’s inauguration.

When all that failed, Hollywood leftists boycotted Trump’s inauguration and the media went full-court press on trashing the inauguration with endless unfavorable comparisons to President Obama’s inaugurations.  Still not willing to accept defeat, a day after his inauguration large crowds of mostly women took to the streets,  to ostensibly advocate for women’s rights and other causes.  The organizers in America were an assortment of far-left extremists.  This Women’s March had foreign leftists staging protests too, but in America the march really was all about protesting President Trump’s election.  Ridiculous pink “pussy hats” become the symbolic protest gear, along with some women donning an array of vulgar lady parts costumes.  The march also attracted an assortment of leftover 60s radicals and has-been feminists, in addition celebrities, like Madonna and Ashley Judd, spewed venomous tirades against Trump.

A lot has happened since the Women’s March and although the #Resist movement still goes on,  loyalty to Hillary Clinton within the Democratic Party has begun to fray.  Hillary has spent the year writing a sore-loser tell-all, What Happened, blaming everyone imaginable for her loss.  She is stuck on relitigating the election.  Her most loyal sidekick, Huma Abedin, is still by her side, while Abedin’s ex., Anthony Weiner, is off to serve a 21-month prison sentence for sending obscene material to a minor.

With Donna Brazile coming out with a book and publicly challenging Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign organization and ground game, it’s obvious there’s a revolt going on inside the DNC.  Finally, some top Dems want to break free of the Clintons.  There are plenty of opportunities for Democrats, sans the Clintons, to make huge in-roads on winning back seats in Congress, but also in state elections.  Trump’s very high negatives has opened that door.

It’s been a bizarre year for feminist hysterics.  It started with the pink pussy hats bedecked women screeching and caterwauling about remaining  “I’m With Her” and now it’s evolved to “Me too”, where women are seething about men who sexually abuse women.

After decades of reports about Bill Clinton’s mistreatment of women, to include a credible allegation of rape and documented obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation, to silence women, finally a few in the media have spoken out about Bill Clinton’s behavior.  Of course, even more alarming was Hillary Clinton’s role in orchestrating smear campaigns against these women.  The Left can’t do a “reckoning” of Bill Clinton’s treatment of women, without doing a “reckoning” of Hillary’s too.  And they need to do a reckoning of how the liberal establishment and mainstream media aided in covering up and doing damage control for the Clintons all these years.  Without the media collusion to run the Clinton spin, the Clintons would have long ago been disgraced and “reckoned with”.

Now there’s a power struggle in the Democratic Party going on, to finally free the party of the Clintons, making it politically advantageous to start publicly speaking the truth about the Clintons.  When the Clintons were still a political asset, with their endless appetite for raising big bucks, much of which they feathered their own nest with, the Democratic Party and mainstream media were willing to sell the Clinton talking points verbatim and do decades of damage control for Bill Clinton.  Now, that there’s a feminist lynch mob mentality taking hold about sexual predators, it’s expedient for Democrats to break free of the Clintons.  Gloria Steinem’s “one free grope” will live on in infamy as the definitive moral caliber of the modern feminist movement.

Finally, political expediency has emboldened a few in the media to speak out about the Clintons and  this self-serving bit of honesty is being touted as “courageous”.   If the winds of politics change, it seems a safe bet that these courageous few will backpedal completely and be back to carry water for the Clintons again.

Several pundits on the right are scathingly pointing out the galling hypocrisy of this  “I Believe Juanita” chorus from some on the Left.  Just like the media ran the GOP Insurgency to throw the GOP primary into chaos, the Dump on Trump in the general, and the yearlong #Resist/Russian Collusion hysteria, they ran damage control spin for the Clintons since 1992.  That’s whole lot of years of sitting on news stories to prop up the Clintons.

When you look at FOX News’s absurd coverage of President Trump, with the Pravda aura to the spin, well, the mainstream media doesn’t realize they looked that absurd for decades doing damage control spin for the Clintons.  Many liberal journalists now spend hours dissecting Fox’s spin and it’s obvious there is media collusion at Fox News with the Trump people, coordinating the talking points.  However, these same journalists still lack any self-awareness that their news organizations avidly participated in the 2016 information war and the #Resist propaganda effort.  That a few on the Left now want to dump the Clintons for political expediency does nothing to atone for decades of media collusion to prop up the Clintons.

Kind of too little too late.

Always above the law

The New Yorker ran a very in-depth piece of investigative journalism, Harvey Weinstein’s Army of Spies,  by Ronan Farrow.  The story details how Harvey Weinstein and his lawyers silenced women and reporters from speaking out about Weinstein’s attacks on women.  The article is long, but it’s a fascinating read and so eerily familiar:

“According to dozens of pages of documents, and seven people directly involved in the effort, the firms that Weinstein hired included Kroll, which is one of the world’s largest corporate-intelligence companies, and Black Cube, an enterprise run largely by former officers of Mossad and other Israeli intelligence agencies. Black Cube, which has branches in Tel Aviv, London, and Paris, offers its clients the skills of operatives “highly experienced and trained in Israel’s elite military and governmental intelligence units,” according to its literature.”

Some of Weinstein’s private investigators were hired and managed through Weinstein’s lawyers, with David Boies, directly involved in the hiring and managing Weinstein’s private investigators.  This all sounded so familiar, because this is exactly how the Clintons silenced women during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.  The Clintons used Sid Blumenthal to pull strings and kill stories.   Women claimed to have been threatened when they talked to Starr’s investigators.  And all the while Clinton mouthpieces and Hillary railed about the “vast, right-wing conspiracy” out to destroy them and how the investigation was just a “witch hunt”.

Weinstein looks like his empire is crumbling, but the Clintons are always above the law.

Along with this Farrow piece, another interesting bit of news generating waves is Donna Brazile’s new book, Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House.

Brazile claimed the DNC was owned by the Clintons during the Dem. primary, with the Clintons pouring money into the DNC, which was completely broke.  Along with the Clinton cash, the Clinton campaign demanded complete control of the DNC hiring and messaging, which assured Bernie Sanders would be sidelined.  Brazile excoriated Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ management of the DNC, which left the DNC  in such dire financial straits.

Clinton mouthpieces jumped into action countering Brazile’s claims, insisting everything was legal.  Clinton loyalists in the mainstream media jumped into action attacking Brazile too.  Many Democrats urged Democrats to unite and stay focused on #Resist.  And Donald Trump, his info warriors and FOX News pounced on the Brazile revelations as evidence that “Crooked Hillary”  rigged the primary against Bernie Sanders.

The mainstream media is already working to bury this story, gleefully getting inflamed about such weighty matters as Trump feeding the koi in Japan…  Brazile is quickly backtracking, now insisting the Dem. primary wasn’t rigged.

It looks like once again the Clinton machine has silenced another woman, who dared to challenge Hillary.

The right-wing media and Russian fronts, like Zero Hedge, highlighted Donna Brazile’s odd dedication in her book.  She dedicates her book to several family members, her friend and mentor, David Kaufmann,  her dog, and “my DNC colleague and patriot, Seth Rich”.   The Seth Rich dedication is odd.  I haven’t read the book yet, but the rolling out of her book, her feisty defiance over the weekend and now her seeming acquiescence to the Clinton talking points, seems like Brazile has opted to surrender to the Clinton machine.

It’s not surprising.

No one really ever wins against the Clinton machine.  Trump won the presidency, but Hillary and her vast network of operatives, many of them in the mainstream media, will tirelessly work until he is taken down.  That Trump is as corrupt as the Clintons assures this scorched earth info war will blow hot as long as Trump is president.  Trump played dirty, where even his son admits meeting with Russians hoping to collude with them and get dirt on Hillary.  The investigations will continue, the corrupt Trump operatives will be exposed, but all the while the Clinton corruption will roll on – always above the law.

Of course, Saint Comey, is ready to launch his new book too… “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership”… One can only wait with bated breath for Comey to explain his “better angels”…

Somehow, I feel sure he will get me nowhere closer to understanding how “extremely careless” differs from “grossly negligent” or how people in positions of high-trust and responsibility should be treated like “celebrities” and their “rights” must be given due deference and more protection than our nation’s most sensitive information.   The “higher loyalty” should be to the oath sworn – SUPPORT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION.

2016 never ends

Yesterday, I started a blog post, but by the time I wrote it,  the news was in a tizzy about President Trump’s UN speech.  Another mass media spin cycle spun out of control and  I felt very weary of information warfare.  That is what is going on in America though, so I’ll just go ahead and post this, with a bit added to the end of that post.

People often use the trite Groundhog Day movie analogy, about being stuck reliving the same event over and over, but with the 2016 election, we are stuck being barraged with an endless, boring, spin cycle, in a vicious information war waged by two candidates, the mass media, social media and hostile foreign intelligence.

The Players:

President Donald J. Trump – the “winner” of the 2016 U.S. presidential election is the sorest winner ever.  He continues to battle the media, Hillary Clinton, the GOP, history, facts and often reality.   He is a man intent on using mass media optics to create an American-size Potemkin village, where his image reigns supreme and TVs across America blare with his cheering throngs at rousing rallies, flags flapping in the breeze and his voice roaring on about “making America great again”.  For President Trump everything boils down to his “crowd size”.

Hillary Clinton – the loser of U.S. presidential election still believes she really won the election, making her the sorest loser ever.   She is a woman who blames everyone, except herself, for her loss, all while adding caveats to imply she was a victim of Russian influence, misogyny against strong women and even deplorable white women who didn’t vote for her, due to pressure from the Neanderthal, Trump-supporting men in their lives.

The Mass Media – The mass media played a central role in the 2016 scorched earth information war, because SPIN style information warfare requires mass media collusion to work.  American cable news networks are powerful information warfare fronts in America.  CNN, MSNBC and FOX all ran the Trump “GOP Insurgency Show”, in 2015, giving Trump unprecedented free media, running his “winning in all the polls” talking points messaging and broadcasting his large “crowd size” rallies live and in their entirety.  In early 2016, CNN and MSNBC and the liberal media made a pivot to running the Clinton scorched earth messaging, casting Trump as a fascist, while FOX News remained committed to running 24/7 MAGA propaganda.  Most of the print media and Hollywood aligned with the Clinton spin.

Twitter – As the whole world knows, it’s a social media platform President Trump uses and loves to spread his MAGA spin messages and lob petty attacks on his enemies.   He delights in baiting the media into overreaction with incendiary tweets.   It’s also a social media platform journalists use and love too.  This is where you can watch spin cycles burst into life, with journalists retweeting each other’s hot takes and stories, often with no independent fact-checking and it’s a place where those spun stories get thousands of retweets and the corrections only a handful.  This viral spread of misinformation assures these false stories are believed.  And if that weren’t bad enough, Trump has an army of pundit warriors on Twitter, who work tirelessly to attack the Left, the media and especially Republicans and conservatives, who refuse to get on the Trump train.  The media keep reporting that the Russians have troll and bot information warfare attack teams on Twitter and other social media too.

Foreign Intelligence (especially the “hostile” ones) – Of course, the Russians have received the most media attention in regards to trying to influence the 2016 election, but many other countries, both friends and foes, engage in cyber-activities and mass media information warfare, some of which is directed at America.

What Trump’s punditry cheerleaders, like Conrad Black, are touting as Trump’s “pivot” to Democrats, is really just more Trump scorched earth information warfare, to stick it to Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell, who have the power to kill the Russian investigations.  Trump is trying to soften Pelosi and Schumer with deals on some policy issues, in hopes of getting their cooperation to put the brakes on the #Resist/impeachment frenzy of the Left and to align with them in making Republicans in Congress look impotent.

The mass media liberals are working with the Clinton spinners to rehash the 2016 election with the same old hysterical talking points they have used since Trump won the election – more hysteria about Russian interference in our democracy and how the electoral college is a threat to American democracy…  Hollywood is on the case to investigate the Russian interference in 2016 too, all timed to go along with Hillary’s sore loser book tour.  They’re even rerunning the  lame attacks on the electoral college.  Here’s a Politico story from today: The Electoral College Is a National Security Threat.

FOX News is busily spouting lines that sound like they came direct from the Kremlin,  attacking Mueller and the FBI, to cast doubt on their Russia investigation.  The Trump spinners are escalating their attacks on Republican leaders too,  just as news leaked of the FBI having FISA warrants for Manafort and that the Manafort’s phone calls were monitored last year.

The same old 2016 election mass media information war rages on, burning the integrity of all who engage in it to the ground.   If you participate in spin, which is using mass media to try to dupe the American people with LIES, you destroy your own credibility the most.

It’s easy to get drawn into the partisan spin and to be sucked into spin cycles.  The words used by the politicians and the media are designed to evoke emotional responses within their target audience.  The easiest way to discern the spin and the mass media information warfare messaging is to treat all of their messaging as suspect and then work to identify the various messages, try to track the messages back to the original source using that messaging first, follow the spread of that messaging.  Don’t get sucked into reacting emotionally to any political messaging and treat all news with great scepticism.  Work to try to fact-check and independently verify facts yourself – don’t rely on ‘fact-checkers” in the media or sites that are touted as “fact-checking” sites, because many of them have a partisan political taint to their ‘fact-checking”.

Like I said at the beginning, I’m very weary of this mass media information war that is being waged against the American people!

No one wins in this type of mass media information warfare, because invariably the American people are being fed bigger and bigger lies, the trust in our political system and the news media crumble completely and along with the partisan political information warfare propaganda, America’s enemies keep fanning distrust in American political institutions and floating “ways to fix the problems” in our political system that use deceptively “democratic” language, but which are meant to tear apart our constitutional republic.

Words do matter and you can trust America’s enemies to constantly work to hijack the meanings of words – it’s meant to destroy our ability to think freely (see here, here, here).

Another shoe dropped

Another shoe dropped.  Susan Rice, Samantha Power and John Brennan were mentioned a couple days ago, as being subpoenaed to provide information to the House Intelligence Committee on their unmasking Americans names from surveillance intelligence.

Trey Gowdy questioned John Brennan on unmasking at the May 23rd hearing.  Gowdy asked about unmasking Americans’ names on the last day an official served in office.  So, based on Gowdy’s questions and the subsequent subpoenas, it will be interesting to see which Obama hack(s) unmasked Americans’ names, who unmasked names on his or her last day in office and who has been leaking all this information to the New York Times and the Washington Post.

Gowdy’s questioning begins at 28:24 and he also has more questions for Brennan at 41:42.

Americans should be very concerned when intelligence is used for partisan political attacks on American citizens by high officials entrusted to protect The Constitution.

“Russian influence” operates the same way.  The Russians excel at smear campaigns, vicious character assassinations, using ill-gotten information to advance their political agendas using mass media to disseminate their messaging.  The Democrats relentless, hysterical “Russian influence” spin is as destructive as Trump’s endless spin and misdirections.  And both might be more destructive than any influence operations the Russians could dream up.

Who needs foreign enemies, when domestic partisans are tearing the very fabric of our republic to shreds?  Hillary has come out of the woods and with the help of much of the mainstream media, she is ready to refight the 2016 information war, in hopes of destroying Trump.  Trump is rumored to be considering bringing his “GOP Insurgent” scorched earth talking points street-brawler, Corey Lewandowski, into the White House to help fight the Clinton/Obama/Dem/media machines who are colluding to destroy Trump’s presidency (the Resistance).

Putin really doesn’t have to exert much effort to destroy Americans’ trust in their own government, when we’ve got the two most vile, corrupt, narcissistic sociopaths still engaged in take no prisoners, scorched earth information warfare.

Who knows what will be left when Drumpfzilla and the Witch of Chappaqua get done fighting.  It’s a safe bet that America will be worse off for enduring Trump vs. Hillary.

Monica’s reinvention of herself and history

Monica Lewinsky vented  about Roger Ailes and Fox News in a recent, scathing op-ed piece in the New York Times .  The entire sensationalized news is not a problem only at Fox News, it’s a problem at CNN, MSNBC, even in the revered New York Times too.  The difference is Fox News sensationalizes stories about the Left and Democrats, while the mainstream media downplays those stories.  The mainstream media sensationalizes stories to destroy conservatives, Republicans and the Right.

Lewinsky writes:

“My family and I huddled at home, worried about my going to jail — I was the original target of Kenneth Starr’s investigation, threatened with 27 years for having been accused of signing a false affidavit and other alleged crimes — or worse, me taking my own life. Meantime, Mr. Ailes huddled with his employees at Fox News, dictating a lineup of talking heads to best exploit this personal and national tragedy.”

The person Lewinsky never blames for her predicament is former president, Bill Clinton, who abused his position and had an affair with her, when she was a young intern and it was he and his minions who had her sign a false affidavit.  The mainstream media, pushing the “right-wing witch hunt” Clinton whitewash spin since 1999, has completely altered the public perception of what actually happened during the Clinton impeachment:

IntroductionPursuant to Section 595(c) of Title 28, the Office of Independent Counsel (OIC) hereby submits substantial and credible information that President Clinton obstructed justice during the Jones v. Clinton sexual harassment lawsuit by lying under oath and concealing evidence of his relationship with a young White House intern and federal employee, Monica Lewinsky. After a federal criminal investigation of the President’s actions began in January 1998, the President lied under oath to the grand jury and obstructed justice during the grand jury investigation. There also is substantial and credible information that the President’s actions with respect to Monica Lewinsky constitute an abuse of authority inconsistent with the President’s constitutional duty to faithfully execute the laws.

There is substantial and credible information supporting the following eleven possible grounds for impeachment:

1. President Clinton lied under oath in his civil case when he denied a sexual affair, a sexual relationship, or sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky.

2. President Clinton lied under oath to the grand jury about his sexual relationship with Ms. Lewinsky.

3. In his civil deposition, to support his false statement about the sexual relationship, President Clinton also lied under oath about being alone with Ms. Lewinsky and about the many gifts exchanged between Ms. Lewinsky and him.

4. President Clinton lied under oath in his civil deposition about his discussions with Ms. Lewinsky concerning her involvement in the Jones case.

5. During the Jones case, the President obstructed justice and had an understanding with Ms. Lewinsky to jointly conceal the truth about their relationship by concealing gifts subpoenaed by Ms. Jones’s attorneys.

6. During the Jones case, the President obstructed justice and had an understanding with Ms. Lewinsky to jointly conceal the truth of their relationship from the judicial process by a scheme that included the following means: (i) Both the President and Ms. Lewinsky understood that they would lie under oath in the Jones case about their sexual relationship; (ii) the President suggested to Ms. Lewinsky that she prepare an affidavit that, for the President’s purposes, would memorialize her testimony under oath and could be used to prevent questioning of both of them about their relationship; (iii) Ms. Lewinsky signed and filed the false affidavit; (iv) the President used Ms. Lewinsky’s false affidavit at his deposition in an attempt to head off questions about Ms. Lewinsky; and (v) when that failed, the President lied under oath at his civil deposition about the relationship with Ms. Lewinsky.

7. President Clinton endeavored to obstruct justice by helping Ms. Lewinsky obtain a job in New York at a time when she would have been a witness harmful to him were she to tell the truth in the Jones case.

8. President Clinton lied under oath in his civil deposition about his discussions with Vernon Jordan concerning Ms. Lewinsky’s involvement in the Jones case.

9. The President improperly tampered with a potential witness by attempting to corruptly influence the testimony of his personal secretary, Betty Currie, in the days after his civil deposition.

10. President Clinton endeavored to obstruct justice during the grand jury investigation by refusing to testify for seven months and lying to senior White House aides with knowledge that they would relay the President’s false statements to the grand jury — and did thereby deceive, obstruct, and impede the grand jury.

11. President Clinton abused his constitutional authority by (i) lying to the public and the Congress in January 1998 about his relationship with Ms. Lewinsky; (ii) promising at that time to cooperate fully with the grand jury investigation; (iii) later refusing six invitations to testify voluntarily to the grand jury; (iv) invoking Executive Privilege; (v) lying to the grand jury in August 1998; and (vi) lying again to the public and Congress on August 17, 1998 — all as part of an effort to hinder, impede, and deflect possible inquiry by the Congress of the United States.

Lewinsky is busily trying to recreate her public image as a crusader against “cyber-bullying”, by casting herself as one of the first victims of it.   Assuredly, the overly salacious coverage at Fox News deserves criticism, but the real person to blame for the horrors Lewinsky faced was President Bill Clinton.   Granted, having details of their affair splashed across the news was a traumatic experience for her, but Lewinsky always completely skips over the details.  She skips details, like how Sid Blumenthal, Clinton White House aide and part of Hillary Clinton’s bimbo eruption clean-up squad, planted false stories about her being a stalker and that the president was a victim of her sexual advances.

Fox News didn’t put Lewinsky in legal jeopardy, Bill Clinton did that.

Blumenthal is still busy carrying water for the Clintons, like when he ran his lengthy hit piece on Donald Trump in the London Review of Books in February 2017, which included a racist video purported to be a decades old Fred Trump campaign ad.  The mainstream media went crazy retweeting that video, which turned out to be fake news…

Deplorable journalism isn’t exclusive to Fox News and conservative news venues.  Much of it leads right to the Clintons’ door-step.

Trust, only after arduous fact-checking

In July, Donald Trump made bizarre comments in regard to Hillary Clinton’s emails. He was saying he hopes the Russians find the 30,000 missing and return them. He also praised Putin as a strong leader. The NY Times reported:

DORAL, Fla. — Donald J. Trump said on Wednesday that he hoped Russian intelligence services had successfully hacked Hillary Clinton’s email, and encouraged them to publish whatever they may have stolen, essentially urging a foreign adversary to conduct cyberespionage against a former secretary of state.

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Mr. Trump said during a news conference here in an apparent reference to Mrs. Clinton’s deleted emails. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

Mr. Trump’s call was another bizarre moment in the mystery of whether Vladimir V. Putin’s government has been seeking to influence the United States’ presidential race.

His comments came amid questions about the hacking of the Democratic National Committee’s computer servers, which American intelligence agencies have told the White House they have “high confidence” was the work of the Russian government.

Trump’s comments were construed by Democrats as urging the Russians to hack America and by Trump followers as either he was urging Putin to hand them over to the FBI or pointing out how much Hillary jeopardized national security, which seems an irrefutable FACT – she did jeopardize national security.  However, there’s an ominous danger to trusting in anything hostile foreign intelligence agents release, even though sometimes they do release factual information.  It’s always important to keep in mind that their objective is to stir up distrust among our allies, or distrust between Americans and their government or distrust between our partisan political factions.  Their objective is NEVER to benefit America or the American people.

Their  efforts are ALWAYS to HARM America.  It is very important to remember that they follow a ruthless “divide and conquer” strategy at all times and playing sides against each other remains their favorite tactic.  It’s a very vicious and cynical form of fighting, of the type psycho women engage in when catfighting – poisoning people, setting up sex traps, playing people against each other, spreading vicious rumors, etc.  It is a warfare tactic for BULLIES, who are really nothing more than wimps, imo.

BUT trusting Putin or Wikileaks, an organization widely believed to be a Russian front organization by many US intelligence experts, is NOT the answer.

No American should trust Wikileaks’ revelations at face value.  Herein comes a short warning message about Russian active measures and their long history of incredibly sophisticated and  sometimes brilliant disinformation campaigns against the West, and America in particular:

As this scorched earth presidential campaign between these two vile,very corrupt candidates descends toward hell, we the American people will be ruthlessly manipulated and lied to, not only by the candidates and their mouthpieces, but by our very corrupt media, by BIG moneyed interests like, George Soros,  and ALSO by  some foreign intelligence agencies, working to sway this election.

RedState had a piece on Russian disinformation, “Harry Reid Joins Donald Trump In Pushing Russian Dezinformatsiya In The United States” yesterday and there’s a  link to a very interesting  CIA study into the Russian AIDS disinformation campaign, to plant the false story that the CIA created AIDS as a biological agent.  This disinformation lie still resonates today, especially in the black community.

The black community in America, due to America’s long, difficult history on race, makes it a group that the Russians (and Soviets), Islamists and others hostile to America frequently target with disinformation campaigns to make them distrust the US government.  Trump and Hillary are also targeting the black community with campaign rhetoric (much of it lies).

With so many people targeting, we the American people, with LIES, it’s best to trust, only after arduous fact-checking.  And even then, be prepared to consider new information that comes to light, because we’re in for a rough few months between now and November in this take no prisoners, scorched earth battle of the wholesale public corruption titans, Drumpfzilla vs. the Witch of Chappaqua, as they slug it out in the sewer for the keys to the White House.

Stop the Insanity

Finished the 4th side for my next tissue box cover.  I like this side the best.

With the desperate “Hillary or Bust” talking points in the past few weeks, the lame brained “do-over election” seemed to be the most bizarre, but never let an existential threat to Hillary Clinton’s  “First Female President” dream go to waste.  Look, I warned that she will do ANYTHING to become president and it sure looks like she’s got Clinton, Democratic Party, and Obama machines behind her effort to instigate a coup and overturn a legitimate election.  They will fail, because we still have The Constitution. However, in the process, after 8 years of abusing executive power, President Obama appears to be joining the “Hillary or Bust” effort by corrupting the CIA, where “unnamed” officials are floating “intelligence” with no proof.  Today there are “reports” that Putin was directly involved in managing the email hacks – no proof offered.

To show how corrupt this is, well, these unnamed sources in the CIA are leaking this information to the media, but refused to appear before the House Intelligence Committee this week and answer questions under oath about this supposedly new intel, with direct links to the Russians.   It’s a total sham the Obama administration is participating in – trying to manipulate the American people into buying into subverting The Constitution and a legitimate election.
So, I went back to tweeting and here are some from today:

There are “experts” discussing ways to fight Russian “influence operations” today and their ideas are truly frightening – banning RT from broadcasting and  policing “fake news”.

We need to fight for FREE speech, it is our strongest weapon against  foreign”influence operations”.

What to do is not rocket science:

An American people educated on and firmly grounded in respect for The Constitution of the United States of America is the best defense

Teach our children CIVIC VIRTUE in our schools, colleges and universities

Resist all the Obama administration fear-mongering about Russian influence operations. Don’t let the media feeding frenzy selling Clinton/Dem/Obama machine talking points scare you.  We are strong enough to resist “influence operations” without some new government program or censorship.  Just think for yourself, question media and partisan”facts” vociferously.  Be cheerful and fearless about standing up and defending American principles and The Constitution.

It’s simple – an America united on American principles isn’t vulnerable to foreign influence operations.

Queen Hillary’s failing coup…

Finished another plastic canvas box.

Here’s a rundown of the Clinton/Dem/Colluding Media talking points I’ve seen, being hysterically repeated on Twitter and various news sites in the last few days:

  • “Fake News” is a dire threat and only certain (Clinton colluding) media can be trusted to report “real” news.
  • Various incantations on popular vote should rule over electoral college – from the dramatically escalating popular vote total for Hillary (likely embellished) to contorted legal reasoning, to crap like Nate Silver tweeted some tripe that Hillary only lost in 4 states by 1%, so without the Russian hacking she’d likely have won – so based on a hypothetical situation, he created imaginary polling statistics, that he’s presenting as serious analysis???
  • More Comey attacks – Harry Reid claimed Comey downplayed Russian hacking.
  • Harry Reid claims Trump directly involved with Russian hacking.
  • Electoral college electors need a special CIA briefing on Russian hacking.
  • America needs a do-over election, because of Russian interference in the election.

The liberal media has shed all pretense of being objective journalists, in fact, many are little more than Democratic hacks.  The hysteria over Americans paying attention to Wikileaks over American journalists’ reporting or Democrat mouthpieces speaks not to Americans being idiots, it speaks to people TRUST Wikileaks (a likely Russian front) over American journalists and the liberal media.

Following Twitter, is an exercise in frantic, sore-loser talking points, most bogus or deeply disingenuous, being breathlessly repeated by a cadre of big name “journalists” and news organizations 24/7.  It’s like kids at summer camp, sitting in a circle around a campfire, whispering something in the next person’s ear and saying, “Pass it on!”

President Obama has had numerous rappers at the White House. Hillary had Beyonce and Jay Z campaigning with her, but Kanye West showing up at Trump Tower this morning represents some new low in lack of seriousness about the presidency, according to the likes of Andrea Mitchell.  I thought she was traveling with Hillary’s campaign, but guess she missed seeing Beyonce and Jay Z…

I think Trump will be a disaster as President.  I believe he’s very corrupt.  However, I thought the same things about President Obama and America survived.  I believe the same things about Hillary too, so I take solace in the FACT that America is much more than our President and we are still a very blessed and fortunate people, because we are FREE.  There are millions of wonderful people in America and thankfully most of us encounter them and not these corrupt journalists and shady politicians in our everyday lives.  We still are free to go about our daily lives, to dream, to set off on new adventures and to hope and dream.   For me, needlework is a stress-reliever, so I’m stitching away… another tissue box cover – three sides done since Sunday:

I have a feeling the Trump years will be very productive stitching years for me, lol.  Oh, the little yarn tails on the top center are just my marking the top, while I stitch, so I know which side is the top when I set my sewing down and then go back to it.

Trump worries me, but the corrupt Clinton/Dem/Media cabal scare the crap out of me.  The Russian hacking/ interference is bad, but so far there’s no evidence they tampered with ballot boxes, so the election is legitimate – end of conversation!  The Dems with this recount fiasco, pushing the propaganda that the popular vote should count and not the electoral college, and now the desperation pitch for a do-over election, ostensibly because of Russian interference are trying to supplant the constitutional process all to prop up a very corrupt woman, who will do anything to be President.  And her enablers are ready to discard The Constitution to assist her.  I would have supported legal efforts to dump Trump as the Republican candidate before the election, but the general election is THE election, according to The Constitution and that’s FINAL!

Donald Trump deserves the opportunity to take office and be the President of the United States.  The Americans who voted for him deserve that too.  And frankly, respect for The Constitution demands we follow the rules.  If he is a disaster, there are constitutional remedies for that too, but it’s ridiculous to talk about impeaching him before he’s even taken office (which some leftist loons are proposing).

Yesterday, John Podesta, who fell for a common phishing scam and gave the hackers his email password, supported a demand for a special CIA briefing on Russian hacking for electors.  One of the chief organizers of this elector effort is Nancy Pelosi’s daughter.  The electors don’t have security clearances, so anything the CIA can tell them, they can tell all of America – so cut the drama queen act and just have the CIA release the information.  My bet is neither the Obama White House nor the CIA will do this, because they’ve exaggerated the facts.

Even President Obama has gotten into the Russian hacking propaganda blitz and it’s revolting.  The Dems are demanding new investigations into Russian hacking, despite the fact there already are ongoing Congressional investigations into Russian hacking.  Prior to this election hysteria, the Obama administration tried to downplay the Russian hacking threat.

So, the administration, where widespread use of private email was common practice, including by President Obama, now wants to champion fighting cyber-threats???  Be for real, the first line of defense against cyber-attacks is good online practices… like using SECURE systems for government business.

President Obama used his private gmail account to email Hillary at her private server email address.  Huma Abedin was sure the Obama/Hillary email the FBI showed her, which was part of a classified CHAIN, had to be classified.  Let’s start by finding out what kind of information President Obama was sending via his private gmail account, before we get too excited about the Russian hacking.

The Democrats are in mass hysteria about investigations into Russian hacking, well, sure let’s find out who they hacked, how they hacked and what was done to prevent their hacking.

It’s hard not to laugh at Democratic mouthpieces hysterically demanding an email investigation as the last ditch effort to beg, borrow or steal the election for Hillary.  The clock is ticking…to December 19th.

If these people weren’t able to wield so much influence in America, I’d be laughing, because was there ever a more ridiculous leader to put forth as tough enough to take on Russian hacking, than Hillary Clinton???  She is the Democrats’ champion on facing America’s cyber-threats???

She couldn’t even keep track of her own blackberries, she had her Filipino maid printing out classified emails in the SCIF in her DC home, she and her State Dept. staff were sending classified information on her home-brew server, and she believed her private email server was secure, because the Secret Service protect her home…  If foreign intelligence agencies around the globe aren’t laughing at the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton and fools like Michael Morell, I would be shocked:

“Former CIA acting director Michael Morell called the intelligence agency’s conclusion that Russia meddled in the U.S. presidential election to help President-elect Donald Trump “the political equivalent of 9/11.”

“A foreign government messing around in our elections is, I think, an existential threat to our way of life. To me, and this is to me not an overstatement, this is the political equivalent of 9/11,” Morell said in an interview posted Sunday on The Cipher Brief. “It is huge and the fact that it hasn’t gotten more attention from the Obama Administration, Congress, and the mainstream media, is just shocking to me.””
