Showdown at high noon…

Andrew McCarthy  penned a very interesting piece at National Review, The Gang That Couldn’t Lie Straight.

Yes, the Trump campaign was “colluding with Russians” trying to get dirt on Hillary at that Don Jr., Trump Tower meeting with the Russian lawyer, according to Andrew McCarthy.   There were discussions and a conference call between Don Jr., Hicks and Trump, who dreamed up this story, that it was a discussion about Russian adoption.  Some other Trump campaign peeps had put out a different story, so there was some clean-up going on. There are some emails and Hicks supposedly told some other guy that those emails will never see the light of day (this was before the Mueller investigation began, I think). McCarthy says it’s not enough to make for a prosecution of obstruction of justice on its own and explains all the details.

Very interesting – since the Steele dossier was also dirt acquired through “Russian collusion”, funded by the DNC & Clinton campaign, so the FBI was using that info, which came from “Russian collusion”, paid for by the Clinton campaign/DNC, all to go after Trump for “Russian collusion” …  I guess it’s it takes Russian collusion to catch Russian collusion, all roads lead to Moscow, … or something like that.

The GOP (I suspect Gowdy helped write the GOP explanation) put out a timeline explaining why this Nunes memo release is important.  I love timelines and there’s a timeline from July 2016 around the time of Comey’s “no intent” statement, with this FISA warrant being sought and this Trump/Russian collusion spin starting about Carter Page. And there’s some unnamed person who was reportedly involved in feeding Steele information, during a crucial week in this timeline. A British paper reported that person is Cody Shearer, the old intimidating witnesses thug, who worked with Clinton fixer, Terry Lenzner.

Funny it took a year for us to find out the Steele dossier was funded by the DNC & Clinton campaign and used in any way to secure a FISA warrant to investigate the Trump campaign.  Mueller should expand his investigation and investigate the Clinton campaign “Russian collusion” and the FBI use of this Steele dossier in Lynch’s DOJ.

Then yesterday the Dems went full-throttle with this Red Scare McCarthy spin accusing Nunes of working for the Kremlin, and later Paul Ryan too.   I wondered if Hannity reads my tweets, because he was going hard and heavy about how the Steele dossier was “Russian collusion”. Interestingly, Saint Comey tweeted an angry tweet using the Dem Red Scare, Joe McCarthy spin to attack Republicans and “weasels & liars”.  Yet, Hillary was just “extremely careless” in not turning over 13 blackberries & 2 laptops, which were under subpoena, her lawyers destroying around 30,000 emails, lying to the FBI, having that IT firm Bleachbit their server and Comey said there was “no intent” there…

Comey is so wrapped up in his belief that he is a pillar of moral rectitude, that he doesn’t realize how bad it looks that he was going along with the Clinton spin calling the investigation just a “matter” rather than a criminal investigation.   It would be illegal for him to send classified FBI information to his friend/lawyer with the “intent” to leak to the media,  to instigate a SPIN tsunami, as cover, orchestrating a special prosecutor being appointed.   Senator Grassley alleges classified information is in those FBI memos.  If there is, did his friend/lawyer have a security clearance or “need to know”.   Were these FBI notes sent via unsecure private email and how were they maintained?

His angrily tweeting using the Dem’s Joe McCarthy spin is another interesting Comey tell.

Also, telling is the angry Dem tweet from Eric Holder. I still wonder who that redacted name is in those FBI notes on Hillary’s FBI interview, in which Strzok was the lead for the FBI team “interviewing” her. Why redact Amy Saharia’s name, when the Clinton team gave that name to the NY Times, to report on Hillary’s FBI interview? This smells like the same snow job as when she collapsed at that 9/11 ceremony in 2016 and her spinners fed the media a story that she was just dehydrated and left early, but some person videotaped her being held up and collapsing.   That video hit Twitter and so several more Clinton spin lines emerged.  The mainstream media pivoted to attacking Trump peeps for hyping her health.

The FBI/DOJ peeps involved in her interview, that Comey described as pillars of professionalism, when explaining to Congress that his “no reasonable prosecutors would prosecute” was a unanimous decision, well,  they sure are looking not so “professional”. So, who all was involved in that unanimous decision and more importantly, who all was present at Hillary’s FBI interview.  I don’t believe Bill Clinton would allow Hillary to walk into that FBI interview, without either himself or a long-time Clinton fixer there, perhaps someone like “fast and furious” Eric Holder.  Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch on the tarmac in AZ the week before, so he was orchestrating this, I believe.

Americans deserve to know who all was present for Hillary’s FBI interview and also who all was part of that team of “career professionals”.

Funny,  how they basically entrapped people & orchestrated SPIN tsunamis to proceed with this Trump Russian collusion investigation, but Hillary ignored subpoenas, there’s evidence of a conspiracy to destroy piles of emails and evidence, the one private IT guy Bleachbit a Clinton server, and even though he was under subpoena, he refused to talk to Congress and didn’t show up to testify.  And again, Mills & Samuelson, with Kendall, “sorted” through the emails on that server, looking for the State Dept ones to return, then destroyed the others, but Samuelson, with Mills, who helped “sort”, was at Samuelson’s  side. as her lawyer, for that interview.  Mills claimed attorney client privilege and Samuelson refused to tell the FBI what keywords they used to search the homebrew server… “No intent” indeed…

Comey told Trump 3X in private that he wasn’t under investigation, even though it’s obvious he was and yet, Comey refused to say that in public. Then the Clinton spin team worked to fuel the “Trump Russian collusion” hysteria in public and Comey used Trump’s comments in those private conversations to feed the spin for calls for a special prosecutor.  This is the same tactic they have used with others in the Trump investigation, or strong-arm tactics like with Flynn and with Manafort, the FBI launched a predawn raid, but with Hillary’s emails – they sold her spin to airbrush the obstruction of justice and classified information, which she was grossly negligent handling.

Sorry, for going on so long here, sort of venting, because the Queen being above the law, always sticks in my craw.

Mueller needs to expand his “Russian collusion” investigation to include investigating the Steele dossier & FBI’s use of it. Mueller, trusted in Comey’s integrity – big mistake there and now the “career professionals” Mueller was trusting don’t look so “professional”.

Finally, if Cody Shearer was involved in feeding Steele information, then why didn’t the FBI know that?  Why didn’t they know this was DNC/Clinton funded Russian dirt they dug up?

Spinning out of control…

Warning: This is another post about mass media information war in America.

The Left is ginning up  a spin attack to set the stage for obstruction of justice against Trump and Trump forces are ginning up attacks against the extreme bias in the Obama DOJ and FBI, which led to the Mueller investigation.  The original rationale for the Mueller investigation was the allegation that Trump colluded with the Russians during the 2016 election.

To date, the Steele dossier has been exposed as another Clinton funded dirty trick and it’s still unknown if that dossier, which James Comey asserted, under oath in 2017, was salacious and unverified, was used to secure FISA warrants during 2016 to investigate some Trump campaign officials.  Two members of the DOJ, who were involved in both the Hillary email investigation and who had joined Mueller’s team to investigate Trump/Russian collusion, have been exposed as having an affair and of texting many extremely anti-Trump political views.

To date no evidence of actual Trump/Russian collusion in 2016 has been released to the American people.  The Democrats pushing the Trump/Russian collusion spin have now pivoted to changing the spin to Trump obstructed justice when he fired James Comey last year.  The New York Times launched another big spin gambit last night  for the Dems, with a report that last summer Trump ordered the WH legal counsel to fire Mueller, but aides talked Trump out of it and the WH counsel threatened to resign.   This breathless NY Times “revelation” was launched to counter the Strzok/Page texts story, which has been gaining traction in the 24/7 spin battle.

The 2016 scorched earth information war continues to blow out of control.

I always keep coming back to writing about SPIN.  America is reaching a critical stage in this endless 2016 SPIN information war.  The reason I still keep trying to sound the warning against SPIN, which requires extreme levels of mass media collusion to gain control of America’s 24/7 news cycle, is because it is fueling extreme partisanship in America and destroying the core principles required for our constitutional system to survive.

Our constitutional system was founded on compromise.  Our founders who met in Philadelphia in 1787, to iron out details for the United States Constitution, arrived with many deeply opposing views and political demands for the new government being formed.  To reach a consensus, a great deal of debate ensued, but in the end a great deal of compromising ensued.   Compromising and working to find some common ground remain central requirements for our constitutional republic to function and remain strong.

Extreme partisanship is an enemy of The Constitution.  This escalating domestic SPIN information war is as much of a threat to America as anything the Russians or our other enemies can do to us using information warfare.

Since 1998, I’ve remained committed to using whatever small internet voice I have, to write about the dangers of SPIN.  The constantly escalating SPIN attacks have fostered a political environment where conspiracy theories on both sides spread rapidly, fuel partisan fears and distrust, and destroy any hope of Americans finding common ground for fixing problems in America.  This heightened distrust permeates down to main street America and even among many school children, where teachers have drawn children into the partisan divisiveness.

The 2016 election SPIN was highly corrupt, with the mainstream media and FOX News giving Trump billions of dollars during the GOP primary to aid his “GOP Insurgency”.  The mainstream media sat on dirt about Trump during those months, because they were aiding the Clinton Pied Piper strategy to promote the most divisive GOP candidates.  This was part of Bill Clinton’s signature triangulation strategy.

Bill Clinton’s triangulation strategy, of which this Pied Piper strategy was a vital part, was meant to set the general election stage, so that Hillary could claim the middle political ground, while casting  Bernie Sanders as a far-left kook and have a Republican opponent, whom could be cast as a far-right kook.  Trump and Cruz both fit that bill in the GOP primary.   Trump was learning how to use SPIN during the GOP primary and there were many times where he seemed amazed at how well spinning was working for him.  FOX News moved to becoming the 24/7 Trump Channel.

Unlike every other Republican candidate since 1992, Trump is the first GOP candidate ever to go all-in on using the Dems form of scorched earth information warfare and he is the first GOP candidate to have the connections to wield a powerful mass media platform ( FOX News, several newspapers, numerous online sites, Twitter, and of course right-wing talk radio) that could defeat the Left’s control of the mass media 24/7 news spin cycle.

In late 2015/early 2016 with the “GOP Insurgency” leaving the GOP in disarray, the mainstream media made a dramatic pivot to unleashing the piles of dirt on Trump that they had been sitting on, while aiding the Clinton Pied Piper effort to destroy the GOP with the “GOP Insurgency”.

The evolution of SPIN in 2016 election

1. Mainstream media & FOX news gave Trump BILLIONS of dollars in free media during the GOP primary.

2. The mainstream media sat on mountains of dirt on Trump during this time. They were aiding the Clinton Pied Piper strategy.

3. Mainstream media pivoted in late 2015 to early 2016 timeframe to dump on Trump, once Trump had succeeded to tear the GOP apart.

4. FOX News went full throttle Trump propaganda 24/7.

5. Mainstream media went full throttle when Trump unexpectedly won the election.

6. FOX News & mainstream media are participating (not objectively reporting) in this scorched earth information war.

7. Americans are bombarded with extreme partisan propaganda dressed up as “news” 24/7.

8. Mass media collusion is required  for partisans to wage this type of mass media information war.

We all know what happened when Trump surprisingly won the 2016 election.  The Left, with the constant collusion of the mainstream media, launched efforts to cast doubt on Trump’s win and fuel hysteria about Trump colluding with the Russians.  The Left has worked feverishly to #Resist – which is a euphemism for destroying Trump and doing everything possible to get him impeached.

This war is still raging.  Many “warriors” on both sides have sacrificed their own integrity and lost all sense of perspective, by convincing themselves that the cause to either take down Trump or prop him up is an existential threat to our political system.  There’s been endless hysterical opining about dangerous “attacks on our institutions” … by both sides.

Here’s the thing and it’s why I have continued to write about SPIN, when in truth I wish I had never even heard of SPIN information warfare in America:

  1. It creates an atmosphere in America where Americans perceive those with opposing political views as enemies of America and a threat to The Constitution.
  2. It makes Americans more willing to believe the worst possible things and the most bizarre conspiracy theories about other Americans.
  3. It creates an atmosphere where Americans believe those with differing political views are an existential threat to America

SPIN information warfare turns American citizens against other American citizens.

This escalating 2016 scorched earth SPIN information warfare is a more urgent threat to The Constitution than any information warfare operations the Russians or our other foreign enemies can wage against Americans.

Our domestic scorched earth information warfare leaves us completely vulnerable to foreign disinformation aimed at fueling divisions in American.

Even worse it leaves us fractured and hinders us from uniting to counter foreign threats.

It’s time to end the 2016 scorched earth information war in America and it’s way past time for American partisans to stop engaging in mass media information warfare.

A couple links

Andrew McCarthy at National Review wrote an interesting piece on the Russian/NRA connection: Collusion 3-0: Russia and the NRA

McCarthy details the Trump/Russian collusion narrative and how so far that narrative keeps imploding, despite Democrats and the mainstream media maintaining over a yearlong stream of hysterical spin.  McCarthy also points out the larger point that keeps getting lost in the rabid partisan battle – we really do need to investigate and figure out the extent of Russian infiltration of American institutions.  By so politicizing Russian information warfare efforts in 2016 and turning it into a domestic partisan issue, it’s going to be very hard to even understand the full scope of the Russian efforts and even harder to defeat them.  The Russians will easily continue to manipulate and egg on the rabid American partisans.

On Twitter this morning, I came across this Weekly Standard piece on immigration that’s worth a read too: Why America Needs People from ‘Shithole’ Countries

Curiouser and curiouser…

A few Russian information warfare news tidbits caught my attention:

Russian troll describes work in the infamous misinformation factory

Fusion GPS Glenn Simpson: Russians ‘infiltrated the NRA’

Trump-Russia inquiry is told Nigel Farage may have given Julian Assange data

It’s obvious that the investigations into Trump/Russian collusion, the Clinton/GPS Fusion/FBI, and the 2016 mass media information war are not going to end soon.

America is more than Trump & Media Tweetstorms

Senator Ben Sasse posted this inspiring video on social media today.  It’s a much-needed blast of American spirit, to cleanse the air of the latest Twitter SPIN battle.

While the American media and President Trump fall into another SPIN “shithole”, today’s blog post is not going to be about politics.  Some Democrats, after a meeting with Trump, decided to attempt another #Resist Trump takedown spin effort.  The mainstream liberal media went into full hysteria mode last night… again… about “Trump is a racist”.

I had been working on a junk journal last night and didn’t look at Twitter until close to midnight.  It took me about 30 seconds of scrolling through journalists’ tweets to assess a full-blown #Resist SPIN attack underway.  By this morning, a great deal of the liberal Twitter shitstorm over “shitholes” was so over-the-top, that it’s clear they may, once again, end up bolstering Trump rather than taking him down.

Many of the #Resisters, who pretend to be objective journalists, sound  like hysterical lunatics.

The altered book junk journal I am working on is for my youngest daughter.  I found this lovely scrapbook paper at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago, when they had this brand of paper on sale for 50% off.  The background is actually a skirt my youngest daughter sewed in her early teens.  She loved this dark navy fabric with the lobster print, even though I was trying to steer her toward pretty pastel colored fabric.  We found an easy skirt pattern and she sewed several pretty floral print skirts and this lobster print skirt, needing very little assistance, once she did a little bit of practice sewing on scrap fabric to get the hang of machine sewing.  I came across this skirt in the spare bedroom closet recently and my mind flew to thinking it would be great to repurpose it as a junk journal cover and possibly use more of it to make a tote bag for her too.

The picture above is one of my favorite childhood books, that I came across looking through old books for junk journaling.  It’s pretty beat-up and has pen scribbles on it, that I know I didn’t put there.  I know this, because I wrote my name inside the front cover of my books and did not scribble or write in them.  When I got to college and first observed the habit of using highlighter markers in your textbooks, well, I was appalled that people would deface their books like that.  I never got into the habit of “highlighting” or writing in my books and I tried to take good care of my books.   And of course, bending down page corners to mark your place in a book should be punishable with a good smack upside the head.

Book collecting (hoarding) is a lifelong habit, that I will never quit, although I’ve tried to read more kindle books and buy less actual books in recent years.  Sadly, my same book hoarding habits easily transferred to digital hoarding too.  My bookmarks always are out of control, same with the other crap I download and my Pinterest has over 200 boards and over 12,000 pins…   I have pinned way more recipes and craft projects than I can ever use, but I still keep pinning more.

Anyone else have this  “hoarding” problem with digital information?

One of my happiest memories of my early years of school was receiving my Scholastic Book Club flyer from my teacher, pouring over every book listing, then compiling my “wish list”.  Usually my list contained almost every book in the flyer.  My mother would give me money for books and then I had to sit there and decide which books I wanted the most, to fit my small book allowance.  I bought Codes & Secret Writing when I was around 10 years old and it fueled my interest in cryptography. Learning about its use in warfare led to my interest in military strategy.  I also liked reading mystery genre stories, as a kid, which often involved strange happenings or odd people rather than the more common adult crime detective mysteries.

Truth be told, I was never very good at codes and ciphers and I found military strategy much more my cup of tea.

Another of my favorite childhood book genres was biographies of great or famous people.  I still like reading about important people in history, but I prefer a narrower selection now, opting to read biographies about people whose lives and/or ideas impacted history in some profound way.   I also moved toward trying to read the person’s own writings and letters whenever possible, rather than relying on a biographer or historian’s assessment.  This habit grew out of observing that too often historians seem to work from having already decided on the character of the historical figure they are writing about and using their research to cherry pick historical documentation to bolster their preconceived character assessment.

In comments on my last blog post, JK provided links to several very interesting John Batchelor interviews with historians, H.W. Brands, Ron Chernow and Robert L.O’Connell on two fascinating and controversial historical figures, Ulysses S. Grant and William Tecumseh Sherman.   It’s interesting that two of the most important generals in the Union winning the U.S. Civil War ended up with their characters frequently extremely maligned, yet Robert E. Lee, who led the Confederate forces, trying to tear the United States apart, has consistently been recast as a saintly man of conviction and the “better” general, even though he lost…

I honestly believe that at the core of the perceptions of Grant and Lee lies a class bias, where Lee obviously had the pedigree of a Southern aristocrat and Grant came from a hardscrabble working class background.  It’s much easier to place Lee, with his impeccable personal appearance and stately bearing, as a majestic war hero on a statue than it is Grant, with his rumpled clothes and lack of a commanding presence.

On a day when America’s politicos continue to furiously tweet on about Trump’s shithole comment, it’s important to remember that America’s greatness lies in our commitment to the belief in the power of freedom to transform the lives of individuals.   It’s not where you came from, the color of your skin, your religion, or sex; it’s about believing that in America you are free, to borrow Emerson’s line, “Hitch your wagon to a star.”

Here’s a 2016 Marco Rubio quote that I came across in an Ian Tuttle piece at National Review, which sums up America eloquently:

“We are a hopeful people, and we have every right to be hopeful. For we in this nation are the descendants of go-getters. In our veins runs the blood of people who gave it all up so we would have the chances they never did. We are all the descendants of someone who made our future the purpose of their lives. We are the descendants of pilgrims. We are the descendants of settlers. We are the descendants of men and women that headed westward in the Great Plains not knowing what awaited them. We are the descendants of slaves who overcame that horrible institution to stake their claim in the American Dream. We are the descendants of immigrants and exiles who knew and believed that they were destined for more, and that there was only one place on earth where that was possible.”

I wish Trump and his enemies waging these Tweetstorm battles would call a truce to this destructive information war, but each side believes they’re “saving” America, even though their SPIN battles deepen the partisan divides in America, incite rage, and fray the bonds of civil society.  You don’t need to understand any secret codes or ciphers to see how damaging SPIN is to America, all you need to do is listen to the Trump vs. the Media news a few minutes a day.

It’s depressing to think that this is what the world believes America is all about…

Trump’s OODA loop

The Clinton/Obama/Dems/mainstream media coalition vs. Trump information war drags on and Trump continues to confound his enemies, who still react in dismay that he is still in office.

Both sides remain very committed to continuing the fight.  Trump often seems to act on gut instinct, instantaneously reading his enemies’ motives way more clearly than his enemies read him.  Trump learned his enemies’ information warfare strategy, but his enemies have no real understanding of how Trump won the election or how to counter his strategy.

Yesterday, I read an editorial piece by Josh Marshall, Thoughts on the Greatness of Ulysses S. Grant, at TPM, which made me think about how Trump is still standing, despite the relentless information war being unleashed against him.  The piece is very interesting, so put aside your partisan blinders and read Marshall’s thoughtful views on Grant’s leadership and writing.  He offered some insights into Grant’s leadership, that I had never thought about before. Marshall writes about Grant’s transformational military leadership and the ways in which Grant threw the traditional military playbook out the window and experimented with maneuver warfare, but even more interesting than that insight, Marshall explains a theory of military operations, which Grant intuitively utilized to great advantage, even though the theory was not developed until a century later.  Marshall writes:

“A century later, a military intellectual and US Air Force Colonel named John Boyd developed a theory of military operations known by the shorthand “OODA loops.” OODA stands for the process of Observe – Orient – Decide – Act, a framework to think about the constant interaction between our observation of our environment and the decisions we make in how to respond to it. Boyd’s insight was that if a combatant can move through this cycle sufficiently faster than an adversary he can get inside his opponent’s ‘OODA loops’. Specifically, if you can move rapidly enough from observation to decision and action, you can change the environment your opponent has observed while they are still deciding how to react to it.That causes a cycle of missteps and confusion leading to defeat. Boyd, a fighter pilot, developed his theory around aviation dogfights. But without the acronyms, game theory and mathematics, it was a similar insight that was allowing Grant to see the impact of mobility in defeating his opponents. Speed is not simply the pace at which actions occur. Sufficient speed changes the nature of those actions or, more specifically, changes the reactions to them and in so doing changes them as well.”

https://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/thoughts-on-the-greatness-of-ulysses-s-grant

Marshall devotes a good portion of his piece to explaining the importance of writing reflecting clarity of vision and thought.  He asserts Grant’s writing reflects an amazing clarity and ability to express himself concisely, which is assuredly more important than style and fancy phrasing in a military leader.

While President Trump is in no way a military genius and it’s a safe bet he has never read either Grant’s autobiography or about Boyd’s OODA loops, Trump has an intuitive genius (yes, I hesitated using that word in relation to Trump) for throwing his political enemies off-balance and for controlling the information battlefield, which the Left learned to dominate and control using the sycophantic, liberal mainstream media to disseminate and saturate the media reporting with talking points, narratives, memes, all designed to manipulate and control public opinion.

For decades the SPIN form of information warfare  has allowed the Left to easily and successfully manipulate public opinion and reinforce it, by relentless repetition of the short talking points messaging filled with buzz words, which was then used to manufacture public opinion polling.  The polling, which was really the result of what amounted to mass media brainwashing, with the repetitive spin, was sold as the definitive marker on what Americans believe and it was used to marginalize conservatives and political opinions that deviated from the Left’s spin.

Trump’s opponents keep recycling through their tired spin attacks (his taxes, his lying, Russian collusion, his mental instability, the sexual predation allegations), but they keep failing to take him down.  Although most of Trump’s attacks are petty, filled with lies, often sound unhinged,  and more often than not, are rather sloppily written tweets, what Trump has done is completely break through the Left’s lock on controlling the SPIN cycle.

Observing Trump’s use of Twitter and his public speaking, it’s easy to dismiss Trump as a loudmouth, know nothing, corrupt, lying, reprehensible excuse of a leader.  His leadership, especially his penchant for playing even his own team members against each other, is assuredly toxic leadership, but when it comes to using his vastly smaller media platforms to fight the Left’s massively larger and powerful forces, Trump has learned to use his own charismatic showmanship to demolish their carefully constructed spin attacks and completely control the 24/7 news cycle, mostly using just his personal Twitter account and a handful of tweets a day.  He doesn’t rely on drafting cumbersome, focus group-tested wording or emailing talking points, then disseminating to thousands of operatives and friendly media Leftists.

Trump does watch a lot of TV news, which the Left is using to discredit Trump, but what they don’t understand is he watches and then, without giving away his next move, he tweets or makes a few public statements, which invariably throw the Left’s carefully orchestrated spin attacks into disarray.  Trump has an innate sense for how to manipulate the media, but he has a genius for getting inside his opponents’ OODA loops, leaving them scrambling and stuck recycling through their old spin attacks, while he has completely moved ahead of them and owned their information platforms.

Winning an information war is not about having the best “spin” or vast information platforms that far outmatch your opponents, it’s about understanding people and understanding the things that they care about.  Trump understands people and he has a canny knack for manipulating people.

Trump spins faster and more effectively than his enemies and he has demolished the Left’s control of America’s media information platforms… using mostly a free, personal Twitter account.  He doesn’t rely on expensive focus groups or fancy data experts; he trusts his own instincts.

Trump has broken through the Left’s information warfare OODA loops.

He broke through and demolished their SPIN cycle.

Whether he can win the information war remains to be seen, but he has the Left off-balance and in a constant state of panic, regrouping and recycling failed talking points messaging.

Final Battle Approaches

Just a short post this morning.   Hysteria on the left is building, in anticipation of President Trump firing Robert Mueller.  The White House insists that isn’t even being discussed.  The Left, including fast and furious Eric Holder, were all over Twitter this past weekend ginning up hysteria, urging people to organize massive street protests – once again going for their “crowd size” street optic, which they will spin across the mainstream media relentlessly, to create the impression that most of America wants Trump removed from office.  The mainstream media will, of course, jump into action carrying the Left’s talking points and spin messaging, as they’ve been conditioned to do for decades.

The #Resist crowd rails about Trump’s attacks on our institutions and his comments often are an attack on our institutions, however he has taken no official action that is really an attack on our institutions.  He has the constitutional power to fire the FBI director.  He may go too far at some point, but he hasn’t yet.

However, the Left’s non-stop efforts to overturn a duly elected president are a true affront to our constitutional system.  They rant and rave daily about how Trump must be removed, they have the mainstream media engaged in spreading innuendo, highly distorted leaked information, and constant fear mongering as “legitimate, vetted news”.  They refuse to accept the outcome of the 2016 election.

They refuse to abide by The Constitution.

What is really going on is the Left refuses to play by the rules and accept the outcome of the 2016 election.

We are approaching the final battle in the never-ending 2016 information war, between the sorest loser ever and the sorest winner.

I pray that America will survive these subversives, on both left and right, who have no respect for the rule of law.

Deja vu all over again…

This is the last time I am going to mention my story on my blog, but I want to repeat it, since it sure looks like America is on the cusp of a major constitutional crisis.  The Dems are spinning “groping” allegations, that happened long before Trump was president, as a legitimate reason to drum up media spin pressure to force a legally elected president out of office.  This is not how our republic is supposed to work. It really is lawlessness, where the Dems use SPIN, creating media hysteria, to incite the American public, hype crap polls that this is what Americans believe, and the mainstream liberal media carries their spin, with few questions asked.

America lives under a powerful, corrupt political machine rule.

President Trump seems likely to fire Mueller soon, I believe.  The Russian collusion now seems to me like really just a Dem spin effort to run Trump out of office. All along I doubted that the Russians would directly collude with the Trump campaign, because Russian SOP used to be to maintain plausible deniability, while casting doubt on others, unlike clowns, Roger Stone or Tick Tock Hannity, who announce their attack in advance on Twitter and in blustery “just wait” announcements.  Their tweets leave their fingerprints all over the spin attacks, like the Franken “groping” photo hit.  My other main problem is the Russians usually do extensive psychological profiling & fully understand Trump’s character flaws. They might set him up, but the chances that they would want to openly collude with him are about zero. They know he is totally untrustworthy & a loose cannon.  Of course, I do believe some in the Trump campaign, including Trump, would have been happy to collude with the Russians.

Our republic is on precarious ground.

No one believed my story and no one cares, but I want to tell my story one more time.  The entire story, Messages of mhere, is at the top of my blog.  I wrote it in the annoying third person and I used pseudonyms, but every person is real.

I am a nobody homemaker, one of those women who are completely discounted by feminists in America .  My husband is a disabled, retired Army sergeant major.  He served in Grenada and Desert Storm.  He received a bronze star with valor award in Desert Storm.  He also doesn’t matter in America, because only some vets matter in America.  A General Petraeus, who got off of serious criminal charges, using  Clinton lawyer, David Kendall, matters.  Americans believe it’s okay for a man who was grossly negligent handling highly classified information to be considered for Secretary of State, just like they believe Hillary Clinton, who was grossly negligent handling highly classified information should be president.

A former American president, who dedicated his life to serving America, and is in the last years of his life, wheelchair bound, suffering from Parkinson’s, well his service doesn’t matter and it’s likely few Americans even know or care about his service.  This former president, President George HW Bush, was subjected to a vicious spin effort, to trash his name on hyped up “groping” allegations.  President Bush is a highly decorated WWII pilot, who flew dozens of combat missions.  The media hyped these “groping” allegations, no questions asked.  Both Dem and vile Trump spinners (the RogerStone/Hannity group) participated in hyping this vicious character assassination and the media spun along.

The media’s willingness to run Dem spin cycles, no questions asked, is a national disgrace.  It’s very corrupt and is undermining our constitutional republic too.  To use the media to run partisan SPIN to create a mob mentality, cover-up political corruption and to deliberately destroy reputations is obscene, but it has been going on since the 1990s, when the Clintons brought SPIN to Washington.  Trump now has his own spin machine with Flight 93 Tweet troops and Fox News running his spin 24/7.

In 1998, I was new to the internet.  We bought our first PC in 1997.  I became fascinated with surfing the web.  I came across the Excite message boards shortly before the Clinton impeachment scandal and began posting messages on political topics there.

Once the impeachment scandal escalated, so did the Clinton efforts to SPIN it away and the mainstream media bought into the Clinton spin & sold it – “just a witch hunt” and “it’s just about sex, sex, sex”.  The Left sold “one free grope” back then.

The mainstream media is as corrupt as the Democratic Party.  The Obama administration was very corrupt too, where Congressionally subpoenaed  records disappeared into the ether, the media carried the Dem spin, and scandals were cast as “Republican witch hunts”.  Trump is rapidly corrupting the Republican Party and has little respect for The Constitution.  He has the Fox News megaphone to run his spin.  He, just like the Clintons, will do anything to “win” and that is why America is locked into this endless information war.

My story is true.  I was attacked in my home in 1998 by a retired Army general, sent to silence me.  I believe, but can not prove any of the events.   Just like now, where some of the exact wording in my recent tweets has been borrowed by Trump Republicans for their talking points, my words were borrowed in 1998 to form arguments to counter the Clinton SPIN.

The retired Army general who attacked me hates my guts, due to issues I raised about his wife’s family support efforts during Desert Storm.  He was located, recruited and sent to silence me.  I believe he was fed false information, otherwise I can’t imagine him going along with an attack on an American citizen on American soil.  He hates me, so he would believe the worst of me.  I believe he was led to believe that I was a right-wing terrorist, because what happened to me sure seemed like the Clinton Waco treatment.  I have never been a terrorist, I was an unarmed, law-abiding homemaker, who got in the way of the Clinton SPIN.

I wrote personal letters during Desert Storm, that were, unbeknownst to me, sent to the Department of the Army.  These letters concerned details about what happened with family support activities, in my husband’s unit.  My husband was a 1st Sergeant, assigned to a unit in Germany, which deployed to Desert Storm.  Wives and families were left in Germany.  I was a family support leader in my husband’s company and actively involved in family support activities.  The terrorism threat concern was high and wives hysteria was a constant, especially when there were several bomb threats at my children’s DODDS elementary school and a bomb threat at a nearby PX at another Army unit.  The general who attacked me during impeachment was my husband’s brigade commander during Desert Storm and he hates me.  My Desert Storm letters caused him embarrassment.

I believe when my Excite arguments were picked up, the Clinton enforcers went investigating to find out who I was, when they came across this general.  Now that I see many of my tweet arguments being picked up by Trump spinmeisters, I wonder how long it will be before I am silenced again.

After watching the trashing of former President George HW Walker, by a partisan, either Roger Stone or Dem, spin effort, I am sure no one would care about one nobody homemaker.  The mainstream media runs the spin, no questions asked.   The Clintons are always victims, President Obama was holier than thou too, despite his extremely corrupt DOJ and constant stonewalling of Congressional Oversight and the Benghazi investigations – just a witch hunt, then time to move on.  On the other hand, the Bushes are next to evil and now Trump, well he’s Hitler…   Loretta Lynch ran a very corrupt DOJ.  James Comey played along to bury the Clinton email server scandal, but the mainstream media will sell the Dem talking points, no matter what.

In recent days, when I noticed my tweet arguments began being borrowed by Trump spinners, I began to worry a bit.  I wonder if they will try to silence me again… I live in GA, with my disabled husband, whom I take care of.  I learned during impeachment that my rights don’t matter.

I just wanted to write this to say,  I am not a terrorist.  I have never owned a firearm in my life, I have always been a law-abiding American citizen.

Me Too lunacy begins

I’ve been neglecting my blog, because I’ve been busy being a Twitter troll and working on craft & needlework projects.  Yes, I guess they call it subtweeting, where you retweet other people’s  tweets, then add your own comments to it.  I don’t have many followers, so I doubt my comments make a huge difference, but I feel better trying to speak up for following The Constitution and the rule of law.

The #Resist is now morphing into the Me Too media lynch mob to try to take down Trump.  The #Resist has been hyping the Trump is delusional spin, and often dragging Republicans into it with hyped media stories.  It’s hard to insulate yourself from believing the political reporting by major news outlets in America, but in the era of #Resist and the Trump Flight 93 spinmeisters, that is where I’m at.

I believed the first woman who made allegations against Roy Moore, but once Gloria Allred showed up, the media non-stop redo of the Access Hollywood started, coupled with the Trump is delusional spin and this new “moral purity” purge on the Left began, well, let’s just say I am not sure how to even begin to decide on what is  a “credible allegation” after finding out that the WaPo descended on AL, along with #Resist dirt-diggers to turn up these allegations.  At first the media hyped there were 30 some witnesses to corroborate that Moore chased teenage girls, but I no longer have real trust in any of this reporting.  I keep wondering if he was a total perv, who chased teenagers, where are more recent victims?  Does he have a long list of affairs or anything like that?  I am open to listening to new allegations, but at this point, I see more evidence this was an orchestrated smear campaign and less that he was a child molester.  I still want to believe the first lady.  The one Allred rolled out and all that crying looked just like the Access Hollywood victim she coached.

I think Moore is vile and unfit for office.  As a judge, he was impeached twice.  Here again, if he does get elected, the Dems blew up that standard as a means to oust him, because the Dems have Alcee Hastings sitting in Congress: https://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/history/common/briefing/Impeachment_Hastings.htm

Senate Dems, like Kristen Gillibrand are setting up this moral purity scenario, insisting that they are setting the standard pressuring Conyers & Franken to resign, but really this is just a move to create political pressure on Republicans to ask Moore to resign if he’s elected and to ask Trump to resign.   The #Resist which was fueled by the Nasty Women contingent has now imposed this new rule, that all women must be believed.  Many Republican and conservative women will be sucked into this feminist cause too.

Since the sexual revolution in the 60s, the modern feminists embraced new rules that tore down sexual boundaries in America.  Now, they have decided they don’t like these rules, so this is their new “cultural revolution” to impose some new ones.  I am not a feminist and reject their rigid groupthink and totalitarian methods.  You must embrace all of their rules, which they change at will.  There’s always been an elite group of feminists who make all the rules. Assuredly they will serve as the Me Too Central Committee that dictates all the new rules. This new Me Too operates off a very unfair and totally unconstitutional premise – that all women must be believed and that all men are pigs, so therefore guilty.  It is absurd to impose some morality that women hold the moral righteousness card and must be believed, while all men must be ostracized from their jobs or bow to the pressures of a media lynch mob.

With duly elected officials, the voters in those states have a right for a constitutional process of impeachment before ousting their elected officials – that’s how our system is set up.  This #Resist Dems setting up this “moral high ground” trope is vile and disgusting, but many Republican and conservative women will buy into it., because almost every woman has dealt with sexual harassment or unwanted sexual behavior from men.  They are encouraging women to go public with every allegation, but this is no way to seriously deal with sexual harassment or abuse in the workplace.  There has to be a fair system in place in workplaces, so that both the accuser and the accused have their rights protected.  Businesses reacting to a media generated public-smearing campaign,  run by a vicious mob, is no way to oust people from their jobs.  In Congress the procedure to remove House members and senators is expulsion. With the President, the procedure to remove him from office is impeachment.

I am all in on everyone following The Constitution.

Men and women are very different and being a woman, I know how catty packs of self-important liberal women operate.  This will be interesting to watch those liberal shrews like Gillibrand trying to force male Dems to submit to her ever-evolving rules, to manipulate the rule of law.  The goal is to oust Trump.  In this process these women set-up, where all women must be believed and these Nasty Women are urging women to speak out, this will be amazing to watch it descend into chaos.

For Trump followers, all along I said Trump is a total fraud and he is, but he was duly elected, so unless there’s some cause to impeach him I remain committed to following the law.  I don’t believe in working to make sure anyone fails at their job, so I hope he buckles down and does the job.  He’s had some wins too.  I wish he would quit tweeting and quit the scorched earth, but truthfully the #Resist would probably destroy him if he did that.  This is like BushDerangementSyndrome on crack.  The scorched earth information war is bad for America and it’s tearing our country apart.

Oh, what I was really getting to here, but drifted, was Trump is a total fraud.  The reason he lashes out at Scarborough and so many others like Zucker at CNN, is because this was his crowd of friends and he feels like they betrayed him.  The Daily Mail ran this story about a 2008 NBC roast of  Matt Lauer: Former NBC exec Jeff Zucker who had ‘never heard about of Matt Lauer’s sexual misconduct’ joked about him masturbating and ‘rolled with laughter’ about the ‘C**k of the Rock’s’ sexcapades at explicit 2008 roast

This was Trump’s crowd of friends.  Buried about halfway into this article was:

“It is not known which other NBC executives attended. President Donald Trump, who relished Lauer’s firing last week and declared NBC and Comcast ‘fake news’, was also there.”

I mentioned this line on a Byron York tweet last night and today the Daily Mail appears to have edited out this Trump line, but the attacks on Zucker and Scarborough are still up.  CNN deceptively edited the Trump feeding the koi video recently to make Trump look bad.  ABC botched the Flynn announcement and so it goes.  Then the media sits on their perch preaching about how terrible it is that people doubt the media and that Trump trashes the free media.  Trump decided to play the same scorched earth game that the Left and mainstream media have played for decades.  Trump has some media playing this vile game too.

Despite all that, I hope that Republicans in Congress do their own #Resist and resist the Left’s games to subvert The Constitution under the guise of standing up for women.  And #Resist Trump’s efforts to use a spin effort to gin up effort to subvert the rule of law by shutting down the Mueller investigation.

Everyone needs to work diligently to protect and defend The Constitution.

And now to crafting news.  Above is a photo of these neat little paper bag junk journals I started making, after seeing a YouTube tutorial. Still working on plastic canvas tissue box covers too.

Staying busy.

Worms buried under the pile

Reporting from stage Left:

Another mainstream (liberal) media spin cycle is sputtering, despite a few days of relentless “news” reporting concerns about Trump’s “delusional  state”, bated breath reports about how “Trump is losing it”, all accompanied with whispers that perhaps it’s time to look at the 25th Amendment.

Reporting from stage Right:

President Trump is revving up another big push to rally his base, with inflammatory tweetstorms and a flurry of rallies around the country in the works.

That about sums up the news.

Here’s my perspective on the side of this scorched earth information war that operates just as viciously and relentlessly as Trump’s tweetstorms and sideshow presidency.

The mainstream (liberal) media is great at reporting on the dreadful Fox News’ Trumpgasms and they can see how it’s flagrant propaganda, but they don’t see how they do the same thing with these spin cycles they generate to take down Trump.  In fact, the liberal media has been doing this for decades, while indignantly brushing aside charges of “liberal bias” in their reporting.

Trump is being Trump and it’s very venal, crass, amoral, and over-the-top much of the time, but this is the same Trump he was a year ago.

Trump has been endlessly dissected and he earns a good deal of that criticism, but Hillary and her legions of #Resist, many of whom work for major news organizations in America have been venal, crass, amoral and over-the-top too, but those in the news running the #Resist talking points and Dump on Trump attacks pretend theirs is all insightful reporting.

As a thought experiment, let’s dissect the antics of Hillary’s legions, many of whom are in the news business,  since Trump won the election.  First, they tried to insist it was time to ditch the electoral college.  Then there was the #Russian collusion hysteria.

There was also a relentless drumbeat to somehow overturn the election and stop Trump’s inauguration.  Some of these antics were petty, idiotic, and ridiculous, but many of them were truly despicable.  The entire Hollywood crowd boycotted Trump’s inauguration and wanted to make it a failure.  When Trump’s inaugural planners turned to using more military in the parades, the Left started the spin that Trump was planning military parades like a dictator, even though they pressured celebrities not to participate in Trump’s inauguration.

It was an appallingly mean, petty display.  There was nothing they could do to fault Melania, who is not only one of the most stylish First Ladies ever, she’s also very polite, gracious and carries herself with understated dignity.  She has impeccable manners.  The day after Trump’s inauguration, the Sore Loser legions took to the streets to protest Trump’s election, under the guise of marching for women’s issues.  The only issue the marchers agreed on was #Resist, which is really an euphemism for work to take down Trump, by any means necessary.  It has been an appalling, non-stop display of vicious, relentless spin efforts to delegitimize Trump.

Twitter is the hangout for many of America’s journalists and political pundits.  If you want to see the American news sausage factory in the making, just go on Twitter and follow several hundred American journalists and pundits.  It’s truly a sight to behold, because you can watch their spin cycles forming, gaining momentum and often a few Trump tweets send their spin crashing.  He does win many of the spin cycle battles.  In the beginning of his presidency, there were even hard news reporters tweeting about whether they should block reporting on Trump and debates on whether to interview various White House officials.

These same news outlets ran the Clinton spin throughout the 1990s, helped Bill Clinton survive impeachment and carried Obama White House narratives without any moral reservations.  I never saw any of them debating whether to interview Susan Rice after her shameless, Bergdahl served with honor and distinction lie, that was a slap in the face to every soldier serving honorably.  The liberal news media conveniently act in unison, when it’s “time to move on”, which is the Left’s signal to the news media that it’s time to bury a story.

The liberal news media opine and report endlessly about how Trump is a threat to democracy with his waging war against the media and yes, his efforts are terrible, but Trump isn’t the only one in this endless information war.  So many in the mainstream news media collude with the #Resist’s take down Trump efforts.  Perhaps, “collude” isn’t the right word, because I don’t believe they are having meetings to decide to all run the same talking points.

Watching them on Twitter for the past year, it reminds me of how catty teenage girls start a whispering campaign, and while I only see their tweets, I would imagine there’s a lot of back and forth gossiping between many of them with direct messages.  A prominent reporter several days ago started with some tweets about how Trump seems different lately (hint: delusional) and WH aides are murmuring about Trump.  Early on there were reports that Trump wanders the halls of the WH at night – that sort of gossip, meant to cast him in a bad light.  One prominent reporter is the queen of this type of reporting and she is highly respected by other journalists.  There was a reporter who made it his 24/7 job to report on every last detail on Trump’s charitable foundation, which of course was a legitimate story.  However, there certainly wasn’t that amount of attention given to the Clinton Foundation’s shady dealings.

And if we step back to the 2016 election, it always boils down to the mainstream media, not just Fox News, gave Trump billions of dollars in free media to help him run his “GOP Insurgency”, and that was done knowingly and deliberately to try to tear the GOP apart and saddle the party with an extremist.  The so-called Pied Piper strategy was Bill Clinton’s triangulation strategy, to have a far-right kook on the right and Bernie as the far-left kook, clearing the middle path to the White House for Hillary.  As Trump looked to seal the Republican nomination, the media started running spin cycles about Trump the fascist and assuredly Trump’s own tough-talk fed that too, but so much of it was over-the-top and fell in line with the Clinton campaign talking points.

Trump is president, but he obviously feels under attack every day and he is, because so many on the Left ( and in the media) are working tirelessly to take him down.  His way of fighting back is terrible for the country, but truthfully those working tirelessly to take him down, especially those who have leaked classified information, are terrible for the country too.  That Trump dossier is assuredly one of the dirtiest tricks in American history and that leads right back to the Queen of the Resistance’s door.

Lately, several journalists make it a point to tweet about what the FOX prime time pundits are talking about.  They tweet about how CNN and MSNBC are on one story, but FOX is talking about Hillary or Uranium One.  They see the Trump-slant and spin, but they do not see their own bias or spin.  When this news flurry about “Trump’s losing it and delusional” spin started a few days ago, I watched and along with those “concerns” about his mental state the questions began, “is it time to discuss the 25th Amendment”.  Assuredly, their spin has more finesse than Trump’s blustery tweets or Hannity’s nightly rants, but it is assuredly a spin cycle directed at taking down Trump.

I believe both Hillary and Trump are extreme sociopaths, with her being the sorest loser in history and Trump being the sorest winner.  Both are leading their followers down terrible paths for America and both are terrible role models of good citizenship in our democratic republic.   They speak not only to the corruption in both political parties, but also to the corrupted morals of many, many Americans, who are so easily swept up into this rabid partisanship, vicious name-calling and demoralizing pettiness.

In this media environment and with the country subjected to endless scorched earth information warfare, no matter which news channel you turn on, there’s absolutely no hope of uniting our country.

Scorched earth information warfare has become the default tenor of American politics and it is splintering our country.

For many years I’ve pondered the dangers to our American democracy from the news spin cycle.  I consider it a form of mass media information warfare:

The mass media saturation strategy was developed by far-left Alinskyite Marxists.  The messaging wall required for mass media saturation to succeed requires the active collusion of the mass media NEWS outlets to facilitate it, by actively and relentlessly repeating the messages of the political candidate or activists using this “buzz word, catchphrase spin (talking points messaging). Mass media saturation INFORMATION WARFARE requires mass media collusion to succeed.  This strategy can NOT succeed without mass media messaging dominance to CONTROL (“win”) the 24/7 news cycle (or as the Clinton team dubbed it – the spin cycle).

It is a form of mass media brainwashing and antithetical to American free speech principles!  To succeed this strategy requires MEDIA COLLUSION.

It can NOT work without that media collusion.

Here are the components:

  • Talking points and buzz word messaging, which are relentlessly repeated by both political operatives and the media.
  • Mass media domination of the messaging, to control the 24/7 NEWS cycle, which requires mass media collusion.
  • Relentless repetition of polling data by both the political operatives and media, to facilitate the manufacture of opinion cascades (winning in all the polls)

https://libertybellediaries.com/2016/07/30/the-pieces-of-the-media-messaging-puzzle/

With the prospect of a possible impeachment effort in the near future, combined with the fractured state of our country, I do worry about what America will look like in 2018, 2019, 2020.  However, while there’s an argument to be made that Trump is president and his actions matter more than anything the media does, the truth is Trump will be president, at most, 8 years.  The mainstream (liberal) news media has been heavily spinning for decades now, slanting the news left constantly.  FOX News took to the airwaves in the 1990s and began carving out a following slanting the news right.  This way of reporting the news will be with America long after Trump is gone.

Trump found a way to break the liberal media’s spin.  Unfortunately, he replaced it with his own spin, that is even more devoid of facts than much of the Left’s spin.  And when you add in the mountains of deliberate false reporting from bots, trolls, etc., the horizon looks very bleak for news reporting in America.

A couple of years ago,  JK, a frequent commenter to my blog, explained the Crow Method:

“There’s a somewhat useful methodology label analysts occasionally admit to using. The Crow Method. Don’t know you ever spent much time in barnyards/feedlots. … Next time you find yourself where bovines and crows are gathered, pick one crow and keep eyes on that one crow. If you’ve chosen a smart crow, the crow’ll be following a big bull and everytime the bull drops a load, the crow’ll swoop down and swirl around the bovine waste looking for the few nuggets of undigested golden corn kernels. The crow will take the corn leaving the remainder of the bullshit for the worms.”

“Better to be a Crow. Dirty work but not so dirty as being a worm. Worms’ll swallow anything.”

https://libertybellediaries.com/2015/10/11/better-to-be-a-crow/

As the piles of disinformation deepen and the spin cycles spin faster, none of us will be able to follow the crows or discern golden corn kernels from the bullshit.  We will all be worms buried under the pile.
