“Domestic terrorism”: I report, you decide

Posted a comment at National Review on a article by David French, in which he clarifies “enemies” as the type Jim Webb, mentioned in that Democratic debate the other night.  French writes:

“But lest anyone think I’m a self-righteous scold, I’ve got a confession to make. One of the worst things I’ve ever said was not dissimilar from Hillary’s response last night. In 2007, shortly before I deployed to Iraq, I was asked at a conservative event why I had decided to join the Army Reserve at the same time that I continued my First Amendment litigation practice (mainly focused on college campuses). My response? “Because I think the two greatest threats to the U.S. are Islamic jihadists and the radical university Left, and I feel I should fight both.”

That statement was horrible — spoken out of stupidity, foolishness, and ignorance. I hadn’t yet seen jihad with my own eyes, and when I did I felt deep shame that I’d linked my ideological opponents in any way to evil, murderous savages. So I vowed going forward that in my constitutional litigation and in my conservative writings, I would reaffirm my commitment to attack ideas, not individuals, and to never treat my fellow citizens as enemies — no matter how they treated me. Simply put, I needed to grow up, to get outside the polarizing bubble of my own ideological battles. Jim Webb did that long ago. He understands what true “enemies” can do their fellow man. His colleagues, sadly, do not.”

Well,  I draw my “red line” at being attacked in my own home, on American soil,  so here’s my response

Agree, up until domestic political power is used to attack me personally in my home, which happened to me during the Impeachment saga in 1998. Being a nobody, I could not get anyone to listen to me then and each attempt to get anyone in the media to listen to me has met with silence. I wrote comments on the Excite message boards during that time, but I can not prove it, so for years I kept silent. I wrote my story, albeit in a light fashion, but the story itself is the TRUTH. I used pseudonyms for all the “characters” and last year I offered to provide the real names of these “characters” to several “journalists” and not a single one even asked for the real names. I swore an oath to defend The Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, Mr. French. So, while it’s nice to want to moderate the tone of political discourse in America, I draw the line at being attacked in my own home over comments on an online message board about following the rule of law.

A long rant about LIARS

Since 2003, America’s political left has led the rallying cry, from foaming mouths, roars loud and furious, “Bush lied, people died!”  The political right coined the phrase Bush derangement syndrome to explain the malady.  The mainstream media has made cornering politicians seeking higher office and demanding a denunciation and apology for supporting President George W. Bush’s decision to invade Iraq in 2003 to topple Iraqi dictator and serial human rights abuser, Saddam Hussein, a right of passage.

Jeb Bush, trying to rev up a Presidential run this year, has stumbled over how to navigate the question, while the punditry class evaluates his performance, finding anything other than a complete renunciation of his brother’s Iraq decision and begging for absolution acceptable.  The media, left-leaning, but even more so holding to a belief that, as journalists, they serve as the pure of heart, the truth-seekers for a world desperately in need of the bright light of the TRUTH.  The anger and righteousness over the Iraq war decision rest on a belief that President Bush and his administration used cherry-picked or outright fabricated intelligence information to sell invading Iraq to Congress and the American people.

Thus we enter the world of cherry-picking intelligence or even outright fabricated intelligence – the many shades of lying to promote a political agenda.  On September 16, 2015 CENTCOM commander, General Lloyd Austin III, appeared before the Senates Armed Services committee to report on progress in the fight against the Islamic State.  Headlines blare about the failure of the US military to get a $500 million program to train and equip “Syrian moderates” rebels to fight the Islamic State inside of Syria running successfully.  General Austin reported that only 4 or 5 US-trained Syrian fighters are in Syria, with the initial 54 fighters sent in back in July being captured or killed by Al-Qaeda aligned affiliates.  I suspect they might not have been “moderates” to start with and walked off, after receiving training and weapons.

In Iraq our effort to defeat the Islamic State lies in disarray too.  Recently, reports emerged of more than 50 US intelligence analysts in Iraq lodging complaints to the IG’s office, alleging that higher up in CENTCOM their intelligence reports are being altered to present a rosier picture of how the war against the Islamic State is progressing.

At the lead of the arming “Syrian moderates” cheerleaders, one can always find Senator John McCain, the most vocal true-believer in the arming “Syrian moderates” project.  McCain frequently uses the failure to arm “Syrian moderates” a few years ago to sanctimoniously berate  President Obama’s dismal handling of the Islamic State threat.

However, the truth to reemerge recently, which McCain and Secretary of State, John Kerry ignored back in 2013 , when the drumbeat for US intervention in Syria reached crescendo pitch, is that from the beginning of the Syrian civil war, the radical jihadists and Islamists played an outsized role, not moderates.  Several questions need to be answered, first, if Kerry and McCain weren’t relying on US intelligence information, whose information were they relying on and why?  Or were they just cherry-picking intelligence to advance their political agenda?

Once again I’m going to bring up Elizabeth O’Bagy, Syria subject matter expert, who blazed a trail across America’s cable news channels back in 2013, as the font of all knowledge on the rebel forces in Syria.  The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) obviously skimped on vetting her, because as O’Bagy’s connection, working as the political director of the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF) became known, the ISW fired O’Bagy for lying on her resumé.  O’Bagy had claimed a doctorate degree, which she did not possess.  After a few days of media sensationalism, O’Bagy disappeared from the headlines and settled into a nice cozy job working as a legislative assistant for John McCain.  Yes, in 2013 he hired a woman with connections to some group with close ties to the rebels in Syria and a just outed liar.  No worries, right?

In 2013, McCain, Kerry and the White House relied on information from the SETF and O’Bagy rather than vetted intelligence from our government.  There were reports that the State Department was funding O’Bagy’s Syria research.  Both Kerry and McCain cited O’Bagy’s Wall Street Journal op-ed as a definitive accurate source.  (my posts in the archives at the right for 2013 contain numerous links on the Syrian moderate lies)

Let’s move to another scandal plaguing Washington – Hillary Clinton and her private email server in her home.  There she was running this private server and no one in the Kerry State Department did a thing to secure that server or those emails once they found out about it, instead they’ve run interference for Hillary Clinton.   In her usual covering her butt mode, Clinton hired some small IT firm to manage her server only after Sidney Blumenthal’s email had been hacked by a Romanian hacker, Guccifer.  With the recent State Department release of the emails that Hillary did turn over to them, we know she relied on unvetted information from Blumenthal rather than actual vetted intelligence from our intelligence agencies.

Step back further to Benghazi and there’s the White House weaving a false narrative blaming the attack on that US embassy outpost in Benghazi on incitement over some obscure film from some Coptic filmmaker in America.  This White House took the Clinton propaganda “spin machine” and turned it into a full-fledged fiction-writing effort, which they refer to as “the narrative”.

So, looking back at the “Syrian moderate”lie and the Obama administration lie over the sarin attack in Syria in 2013 – there again, another lie – President Obama blamed Assad before the UN investigation was even complete.  Intelligence information indicated  Syrian rebels possessed WMD capability too, but it ‘s easier to go with blaming Assad the Butcher to advance the policy for US involvement in the conflict.  Yes, Assad has committed atrocities too, but to pretend jihadist nuts are “moderates” and arm them is insanity!

McCain still pushes for arming them and still has O’Bagy whispering sweet “Syrian moderate” lies in his ears – to the tune of  a government salary of over $80,000 a year.  Not bad for a young woman who lied about her academic credentials.  He is the go to invite on all the cable news shows as the Republican senior statesman and expert on foreign policy .

So, we now have those  50 intelligence analysts complaining about CENTCOM officials altering intelligence reports to fit the Obama narrative, a DIA chief forced to retire last year, because he refused to cook the books on intelligence, a Republican “war hero” Senator, who believes some young woman aligned to a Syrian rebel lobbying group over official vetted intelligence and one can only wonder why no one in the press is connecting all these dots.

We, being the American people, but most especially our military, who put their lives on the line to carry out these misguided foreign policies, have been left with nothing but a shell of  a constitutional Republic.  This isn’t about a partisan divide in Washington, it’s about wholesale corruption.  The folks the media turns to as senior statesmen, like John McCain and John Kerry, are at best clueless nincompoops, but they are dangerous liars and dangerously reckless to rely on some lobbying group filled with young Syrian rebel sympathizers (or Islamist sympathizers – hard to tell) rather than carefully vetted information from our own intelligence agencies, especially when that information from the two sources differed so dramatically.

Late night shows recently started inviting Hillary Clinton on and they’re writing scripts to turn her email scandal into nothing more than a right-wing partisan joke.  Yes, they are aiding her in burnishing her lies and criminal conduct into little more than just little bad decisions and a laughing matter.

Last year I contacted several reporters, even that big kahuna of cable news, Bill O’Reilly, and I couldn’t get a single reporter to even talk to me or ask me for details.   I had offered them the real names to the people mentioned in my story.  Not a single taker, yet they fight over interviews with Hillary Clinton, toss her softball questions, debate over how many lies she told and yet most of them would still vote for her.  Bill O’Reilly falls all over himself blabbering on about how he wants to be “fair” to Hillary Clinton and I wonder why he and his crack staff didn’t even bother to ask me for names and details – no response whatsoever.

I shouldn’t be surprised at our lazy journalists – they missed O’Bagy and didn’t bother to check out her background, in fact, I still want to know her entire background and whether she underwent a formal security background check or if McCain waived that.  Hillary has had Huma Abedin, with direct connections to the Muslim Brotherhood, by her side for years and Abedin was handling top secret information.  Again, did Abedin ever undergo a formal security background check?

Reporters don’t even bother to challenge John McCain on his foreign policy “expertise” and in this latest CENTCOM testimony by General Austin,  there’s an Obama-appointed general, carrying out a fool’s mission hunting for “Syrian moderates” to train, and the cable news pundits invite McCain on to rail about the CENTCOM commander and Obama administration failure…  There have been mostly radical jihadists among the Syrian rebels from the beginning and McCain should know that. He’s the chairman of the Senate of Armed Services Committee, so assuredly he gets intelligence information from the US military.

The acceptance of lying by our government officials coincides with the  acceptance of lying in our culture.  Having spent every day since the Impeachment Scandal in 98-99 wondering how I could be attacked in my own home over posting comments on the Excite message boards (Messages of mhere tabbed on my home page) and not having any power or way to prove what happened, all I can say is at some point Americans need to face the truth – they have allowed their government to be taken over by corrupt liars, venal power-hungry sociopaths and foreign influence peddlers and agents.

Long ago, I used to believe that the rule of law protected every American citizen.  Thinking about all the lies and cherry-picked and fabricated intelligence making headlines brought me full-circle to my own situation. I think about,  if the power of the Presidency was used to silence, me, a homemaker who challenged the Clinton spinmeisters during impeachment – on a stupid online message board, then is any citizen really safe?

I wonder how safe I will be if that lying, conniving woman is elected President in her own right and doesn’t have to borrow power from her husband.   Once again I will state that my Messages of mhere story is the TRUTH.  Long ago when I was in the Army, I held a “Secret security clearance”, after an official security background check,  and since then, my record is-  I was a homemaker, a devoted volunteer, don’t have even a speeding ticket on my record and I like to do needlework, cook, and read a lot.  I challenge any journalist to vet my information and dig into what happened to me – of course, the retired general who was sent to attack me was fed lies about me obviously, otherwise he would not have taken on the mission of  silencing me – my best guess is I was cast as an internet terrorist or part of some right-wing militia (those were popular in the 90s) and assuredly he would lie to salvage his reputation too.  Every time I see that lying witch on TV, laughing and making light of her LIES, I get disgusted.  She really is thatwitch2016!  I want to expose what happened to me in the Fall of ’98 and early ’99.  So sick of LIARS!!!

Never surrender!

To keep things honest, I mentioned my “Messages of mhere” mess on the Dipolomad blog last night and at the American Thinker minutes ago.

The Clintons know, that with this email server scandal, the digging for information will carry on in the right blogosphere, nicely marginalized and contained, but the mainstream press will move on from this scandal.   This email server scandal cauldron of trouble is not a right-wing witch hunt, but just more of the noxious brew of  the woman I think of as thatwitch2016.  She’ll fly her broomstick over Oz, but even though I’m scared of my own shadow, I believe in The Constitution and will never succumb to “Surrender Dorothy” puffs of Clinton hot air.

I have no power or connections to prove my Messages of mhere story, but I feel it’s important for every American to realize that liars and corrupt people should not be entrusted with unchecked power and if my rights don’t count, then yours don’t either.

I still believe that the truth is the most powerful weapon in the world!  And I will never surrender my freedom nor falter when it comes to defending The Constitution and frankly every other American shouldn’t either.

The plot thickens

Here’s a report, “FBI Said to Examine Whether Hillary Clinton E-Mail Was Backed Up”, from Bloomberg.com, which contains an interesting comment:

“Barbara Wells, an attorney for Platte River Networks, a Denver-based company that has managed Clinton’s private e-mail since 2013, said in a phone interview Thursday that the server turned over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation “is blank and does not contain any useful data.” But Wells added that the data on Clinton’s server was migrated to another server that still exists. She ended the interview when questioned further, declining to say whether the data still exists on that other server and who has possession of it.” (my emphasis)”

Also, read Mr. Jacobson’s, “How did Hillary’s lawyers search a server no longer in her possession”, at Legal Insurrection.com, where he provides highlighted timeline discrepancies in statements from David Kendall, long-time Clinton scandal-fixer and lawyer.  Sleight of hand with the Clinton political machine and for any who doubt it, they operate like a crime syndicate, so powerful DC insider hacks will be paraded around to deflect, obfuscate and otherwise stall, impede, and mislead, both the investigators and the American people.  They will attempt to use public opinion polls to rally support for Hillary as the victim again.

My own experience (Messages of mhere tabbed on my homepage), being a nobody homemaker, with no connections, and not being able to get anyone in the press to even listen to me about what happened during the Clinton Impeachment, late ’98 and early ’99, leads me to believe that she will get away with this too.  She will plod along, campaigning, avoiding questions from the press, pretend the investigation is just another right-wing political witch hunt.

I don’t have the connections to prove my story.  I know a lot of crazy crap happened to me during impeachment,  as described in Messages of mhere – the new tree stand by the woods behind my house, positioned to look into my fenced-in backyard, the events as described  – feeling knocked off balance and escalating over weeks to where I felt pressed down and had to fight to stay on my feet, and when I was alone the TV starting flipping channels and one night it flipped to foreign TV, which scared the crap out of me.  Sure, just my crazy imagination.  I kept posting messages on the Excite message boards, mocking the Clinton supporters posting there and as I stated, the writing on those Clinton impeachment threads went from mostly poorly written comments to more polished, professional writing.  After the impeachment saga, this retired general got placed in a high-profile, foreign position, where if he retired suddenly, under the circumstances as the scuttlebutt indicated, it would have made him the last choice, due to – national security implications.  In the intervening years, I’ve watched online – casually searching this retired general’s name and he’s become a loyal Clinton/Dem mouthpiece to roll out supporting the Dem view on military matters, just another loyal FOB

So, while the Washington crowd and mainstream media are just shocked at Hillary’s cavalier handling of our nation’s secrets, I  already knew how far she would go to cling to power, even borrowed power from her husband.  She wears the pants in that family!  So, what if my story is true ( I believe it)? I believe the Clinton sewer rats set out to find out who this annoying “mhere”, the poster on Excite mocking them and making mincemeat of their spin, was.  I believe they located a retired general who hated me from some issues several years before, where personal letters I wrote ended up at DA and embarrassed that general and his  uppity wife.   I believe that SHE  through her husband fed false information to this retired general and recruited him to silence me over my comments on the Excite message board, would anyone care?  I believe she cast me as some dangerous, right-wing zealot, when in fact, I am a zealot ONLY on following the rules and obeying the law!  I have never owned a gun in my life and abhor violence.  I am just a nobody homemaker, who likes taking care of my family, cooking, needlework, gardening, but I am also a news junkie and love reading about military strategy and history too.   My rights as an American citizen should count too and I will never relinquish my right to free speech- EVER!

Anyways, for what it’s worth, from my experience, Hillary Clinton and her clean-up squad are sloppy operators and reactionaries, they peddle in attacking anyone who gets close to exposing HER criminal activity (yes, I said criminal).  The investigators, any judges, Congressional members, the press – all will be attacked as she recruits loyal political hacks to hit the press and airwaves with a scorched-earth campaign that works like the military strategic idea of “swarming”.  To win you need to persistently ignore the stings of personal character attacks and stay calmly, resolutely determined to SPEAK THE TRUTH and never lose sight that the queen bee will eventually destroy herself, but it’s a long, slow, painful road to drag her to justice.

Several blasts from the past

Flashback to March 2015, when Hillary Clinton first addressed her private email revelation. Remember the “two separate phones” and “two separate email accounts” rationale for the use of her private email, then the story moved to she used only her private email from her own private server. The story then expanded to her minions also used her private email server and she had her own intelligence gathers sending her intel (Sidney Blumenthal and some former CIA spook). She assured us there was absolutely no classified information ever relayed via her private email server.

Inquiring minds want to know when did she set up this private email server? Where was it located? Who maintained it for her? How many of her minions used it?

Her campaign flunkies have planned another doomed spin gambit with the release of Hillary’s medical and tax records, where they’ll try to spin it that she has nothing to hide and has released more personal information than any other candidate. She won’t answer the questions about her mishandling classified information, or the dozens upon dozens of other questions surrounding her private email server. And that server will never be turned over to Congress or any other authorities. It will be another Rose Law Firm billing records hide and seek game.

I still wonder what records Hillary and Cheryl Mills took from Vince Foster’s office before investigators ever got there. There’s a long trail of unanswered questions, heck, I’ve got my own impeachment story that I want concrete answers of who was responsible for me being attacked in my own home (Messages of mhere, tabbed at the top of my home page). I was writing snarky rebuttals to Clinton hacks spinning the impeachment drama on the Excite message boards (and mocking them).

Ad nauseum alert I’m going to rehash Messages of mhere again:

Every person mentioned in my story exists in real life. Someone higher up had to check out who mhere (I) am and they came across a retired general who hates me from some issues almost a decade before impeachment. I have no proof – in fact, saying you felt jolts that knocked you off balance sounds crazy and then saying it escalated over several weeks, sounds impossible, but it’s true. When I left my house – the feeling disappeared. When I went in my bedroom to wrap Christmas presents, I had to brace my knees against my bed to avoid being knocked to the floor – I have no idea what could have caused that. In fact, I would believe I was nuts, except I know I was attacked and some people have a very distinctive voice – that is how I know I was attacked and I know who attacked me, but I can’t prove a thing. A lot of effort went into attacking me in my home and then trying to have me locked up permanently. The only place I was talking to people besides close family was on the Excite message boards. People lied to my husband to turn him against me too. Without proof, I can’t publicly name names.

I spent 18 days involuntarily locked up in a mental facility and the details of that experience in Messages of mhere is true too. If I had not demanded an attorney, I would have been carted off to a state mental hospital. The psychiatrist called my husband at night to try and convince him I needed to be committed to the state mental hospital. No one in this mental health facility even told me there was going to be a hearing.  As a law-abiding citizen, who doesn’t have so much as a speeding ticket on my record and even though most assuredly the statute of limitations is long past for most of the crimes committed against me, my intention in rehashing this old story is that I want the truth exposed and I want every person involved exposed. When I decided this was shortly after I began this blog (January 2013), I read an article where James Carville, big cheese Clinton sewer rat himself, squealed with moral indignation about the inhumane Clinton haters. The gross hypocrisy and all the years of feeling voiceless made me decide that no matter how long it takes or how many set-backs I endure – someday I am going to expose all of the people involved in attacking me.  My husband was an active duty soldier getting ready to retire – he served in Grenada and Desert Storm and someone(s) sent a retired general to attack me.  Someone sent him and I want to know who. I believe Army assets were used in that attack right here on American soil. Posse comitatus anyone…

Never fear, I will suck it up and move on to other news now.

Who I am and why I blog

Last night I posted some comments on another blog, which I rarely do, because there’s rarely any discussions or even debating issues, that is a give and take of ideas in online forums or in the public square or townhall.  For whatever the issue, people quickly choose their partisan affiliation, break up into virulent factions and thus begins the hurling talking points back and forth, the name-calling and the automatic dismissal of what anyone with an opposing view presents.

Perhaps, my naturally snarky disposition predisposes me to raising hackles, because last night I was called pompous, an armchair expert, one who presents “quisling appeasement arguments” on the matter of dealing with radical Islamists intent on killing us (being Americans and other Westerners).  I probably should have just turned the other cheek and walked away and I admit freely, without nearly as much contrition as I probably ought feel, I responded in a catty fashion.

I’ve quoted this blog many times, even though often the comments section runs into what I consider racist commentary, because they work on the crowd-sourcing method, where lots of posters generate lots of information. Even this thread allowed a comment that I felt was outright racist.   This blog fixates on the high-profile black/police controversies and high-profile race cases.  After my exchange with that poster, I submitted two other, what I considered, thoughtful,  comments in response to other posters on the topic and as of this morning, those comments are sitting in moderation, making me suspect I was banned.  Yes, yours truly, libertybelle, managed to offend someone, lol.  Who would have thunk that…The other poster, who called me names from the beginning, is still posting there,

In any group of people not ALL of them are the same – they are INDIVIDUALS.  You can check out the exchange and judge me and yes, I regret getting catty and hope that I don’t come across as pompous or as someone who throws out “quisling appeasement arguments”.  I took umbrage at being summarily cast into some group by a person, who  dismissed me out of hand, without explaining where I was wrong or presenting evidence to show the information I presented was a “quisling appeasement argument”.  She dismissed me as not worth even talking to and  I call women like her queens, they try to lord it over others, based on illegitimate power.  That is what offended me – not the personal attack, but the, “Well, that’s just precious. It’s really sweet that you can read stuff and be an armchair expert.” attitude. I tried to explain who I am and that I do have some knowledge of military strategy and I told her, “I don’t know what “like-minded people” you think I am like. I support national security 100%, but I believe in comprehensive strategic-planning, not knee-jerk reactionary “go kill ISIS!”

I relay this little catty exchange for a higher purpose.  The purpose is to discuss FREEDOM and hopefully I won’t present a “quisling appeasement argument” and I hope, I don’t come across as an armchair expert, but I am going to defend myself.  I have spent part of almost every day since 1980, reading and trying to understand “war” and “military strategy”.  I try to understand both the strategy and tactics that armies, past and present, employ to wage war. I read history and more history. I follow the news.  I look at maps and try  to understand the geography of various regions.  I look at old ideas successful armies used and try to think about ways those ideas might be used in our military. I hope I don’t come across as pompous and as this is my personal blog, people are FREE to consider my views or not, but my purpose is not to impress anyone or get noticed. The purpose is I refuse to ever let anyone silence me -especially some arrogant woman using illegitimate or borrowed power! Whether wearing her husband’s rank on a blog or being a co-President in America, I don’t care, as an American, I will exercise my right to FREE speech.  Being banned from that blog is no issue to me, because I am FREE to express myself here on my own blog and publicly.  I’ve faced bigger challenges to my FREE SPEECH and even my very LIBERTY and I am not a quisling!

I’m going to talk about an exchange on that blog last night in the big picture, global context first and then in the next post, I want to talk about the little picture, FACTIONS in America:

The other poster said to me:

“I hate to break it to you, but ALL Islamists are radicals.
Islam is a cultural and political philosophy that is antithetical to the Enlightened West.”

I responded:

“All Islamists are radicals, All Islamists are Muslims. Not all Muslims are Islamists, Therefore, not all Muslims are radicals – sorry that’s logic, I have yet to find any two people anywhere I have been, here or abroad who are both ALL anything – human beings tend to be INDIVIDUALS. In the Muslim world Sharia law, practiced to varying extremes, is a totalitarian political system masquerading as a religion.  Muslims are taught to conform, from cradle to grave, to the dictates of the enforcers of Sharia law.  They have very little FREEDOM.  I have known some Muslims who aren’t radical Islamists, and while the poster is likely right that all those who join up with an Islamist group are radicals, her other comments led me to believe she feels this applies to Muslims in general.

In places where religious indoctrination squashes free thinking and free choice, most people conform to the rules.  If minor infractions like being a female riding a bike in her neighborhood can result in public lashing or imprisonment, it’s easy to understand the deafening silence from the purported vast, moderate majority of Muslims we’re told exists.

Even in America, the silence surprised me.  We have lots of leftist indoctrination going on in our colleges and universities, where free speech is under attack, we also have leftist activists fueling anti-American causes and anti-Semitism.  We’ve got radical jihadi recruitment going on in many American mosques and communities too. Another factor in the silence might be when former Muslims, like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, speak out, they live with the daily burden of needing constant security, because their very lives are on the line in this battle against radical Islamists. What’s that saying, courage is rare, cowardice legion.

There’s been debate about “winning the hearts and minds”of Muslims.  SOME fear criticizing Islam offends ALL Muslims and therefore might incite more terrorist attacks.  SOME fear openly criticizing or offending Islam might create more radical Muslims. SOME fear private citizens  criticizing ISLAM might negatively impact American foreign policy or put US troops, at home and abroad, at risk.  I’ve unequivocally stated that I feel that argument is nonsense and that we need to speak up, loud and clear, and defend FREE SPEECH.  We should use these opportunities to explain that in America INDIVIDUALS are FREE – they are FREE to THINK, BELIEVE and SAY whatever they want.  Women here can even DRESS however they choose.  There are NO CONSEQUENCES in our legal system for being able to enjoy FREEDOM.  Throughout man’s history, INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM scares totalitarian regimes – whether it be a brutal king, a crushing communist regime or a 7th century religion casting holy terror, on it’s own people, and far beyond.

Our foreign policy response to the threat from the escalating radicalization taking place within the Islamist movement ranks as disjointed, lacking any sort of coherence and frankly between soft people’s revolts, which the US government encouraged, walking away from Iraq, the entire ME sits as a powder keg of explosive radicals engaged in brutal battle, dangerous power vacuums, massive instability from fleeing refugees, unstable governments and a looming nuclear arms race between the two houses of Islam, the Sunni and the Shia.  A detailed foreign policy plan is something I’ll hold for another day. Defeat ISIS is a way too simplistic stance, without a clear, long-range comprehensive strategy to bolster some sort of regional security framework and as a general idea, I believe  we should:

“Every effort should be made to reduce ethnic and regional friction points, but in the big picture world, we all need a geopolitical structure that offers some stability.  That comes from global leadership and strength, not from the major world powers feverishly eliminating their nuclear arsenals and hoping others follow suit.    A phrase like “greatest threat” presumes a whole heck of a lot and basically it’s sheer arrogance to believe one problem poses the greatest threat.”

I like to dissect strategic challenges into long range goals (the traditional Ends) and sift through ways and means too.  I  like to think about short and intermediate goals and I am always thinking about, “well if that doesn’t work, what then”, or I try to step into our adversaries’ shoes and brainstorm how the world looks from their position.  Now, how I started thinking about all this was because long ago, I was a young woman assigned to a Pershing missile unit in 1980 and trying to wrap my mind around “mutually assured  destruction” scared me.  I have been reading and thinking about our national security strategy almost every day since 1980 and asking myself “Why?”  I am seeking a different path forward to provide, not just a national security framework, but an international security framework for ALL of us. Yes, quite an insurmountable obstacle, a pipe dream perhaps, but there you have it – that is my personal mission and I’ll keep studying, reading history, and considering new ideas unto that end.  I am a nobody homemaker, but I am an American and no one ever told me I can’t succeed.  I started writing my thoughts and  ideas here and welcome other ideas.

I believe too much effort is directed toward extremes of “kill them all” or “bow down in submission to Islamist nuts intent on killing all of us“.  Hopefully, my determination to explore other avenues, than the extremes, doesn’t make me a quisling, an armchair expert or naive.  I’m a mother and a grandmother wondering about the future for them and I believe, we need to explore new ways of bolstering an international security framework and that demands LEADERSHIP.

What America needs most is better LEADERSHIP.  Policy failures dealing with the rising radical Islamist threat abound in both the Bush and Obama administrations, but in the Obama administration, America has abdicated  it’s role as a global leader.  The weak and appeasing  foreign policy decisions by this president have sown international distrust, instability, and chaos.  Into the void, the Russians, the Chinese, Iran and dangerous radical Islamists smelled that fear and moved.  That is where America stands now – we have a weak, cowardly person to lead us.  There aren’t any easy ways forward with an incompetent and cowardly leader, so railing for military action just puts our troops at risk, creates more chaos in the ME and emboldens the above mentioned adversaries to easily thwart any move President Obama makes.  Anyway, he’s too busy bowing to the mullahs in Iran to notice the disintegrating security situation, at home or abroad.  And most of all I don’t believe he cares one bit about the troops.

Hear ye, hear ye, She will announce today….

Oh my, the day we’ve all been waiting for has arrived  (*yawn).  Hark, her faithful handmaidens whispered to the fawning press, “She will announce today!”   Don’t expect her to be open and accessible, as the “I’m every woman” tour begins, with the queen snug behind her castle walls .  She will hide behind the parapets, eating her cake, while throwing crumbs to the peasantry and noisome dogs of the press, in small, intimate  (read “controlled”) settings, according to her handlers.  So, with this carefully crafted character remodel underway, forget the lies, forget the email server in her home, forget her Benghazi debacle, forget her work silencing the king of mendacity’s bimbo eruptions, forget that this new, humble, grandmotherly matriarch (read Princess Charlotte as stage prop), “listening” to small ordinary peasants is just another phoney ploy to avoid answering troubling questions about past misdeeds.  Instead of “God Save the Queen”, for America, we’re back to another tiresome monarchy and before long, those rebels will be talking about “liberty and justice” and dare I say, freedom from “her oppressive lies”.  Beware, any who speak out will be deemed, subversives and dangerous, tarred and feathered, as “part of some vast, right-wing conspiracy!”  Time for libertybelle (aka, mhere and susiehomemaker) to retreat and stitch another subversive counted cross-stitch project, lol, and for good measure maybe she’ll need to forgo politics and clandestinely work on her other long-neglected blog, https://susiehomemakerdishes.wordpress.com/.  One can never be too cautious when dealing with the queen (aka “the smartest woman in the world” and thatwitch2016)….

More lamentations about Messages of mhere

I listened to the entire 22:31 minutes of Monica Lewinsky’s TED talk (here) and several things struck me – first is she speaks with humility, grace and honesty.  Lewinsky defines her purpose of publicly speaking about her past as an attempt to change the culture of “cyberbullying” and the brutal invasion of privacy that modern technology has facilitated.

Lewinsky chronicles the evolution of incivility, invasion of personal privacy and many other horrible offshoots of boorish and cruel behavior fostered online.  Watching Lewinsky talk, it’s obvious she’s full of wit and charm, plus it’s obvious she’s smart too.  Way back when, during this impeachment scandal, I recall writing a comment online about Lewinsky too.  I remember some detailed description about her shopping for a gift, trying to find the right book, for Bill Clinton. I wrote that she was in love, but some much darker emotions drive Hillary Rodham Clinton.  She is consumed with her quest for power.

A large part of Lewinsky’s public shaming, as she refers to it, was not just because of the internet.  The Clinton political machine, driven by one, Hillary Rodham Clinton, fed stories to the media to trash Lewinsky as some psycho and they were quick to utilize the information superhighway to spread their lies.  The man she opens this talk discussing as “falling in love with my boss”, well, he threw her under the bus to save his political career and he let his wife handle the damage control.

The need for a cultural change hits us in the face almost daily with story after story of young people using the internet and cellphones to engage in everything from “cyberbullying” to sexual exhibitionist behavior, filming acts of violence (brawling being the least of it) to post online, or in cases like Tyler Clementi, whom Lewinsky mentions.  Clementi, a young gay college student, whose roommate used a hidden webcam in their dorm room to videotape Clementi in an intimate act, then posted the video online to share with other students stands as one of the cruelest personal acts of “cyberbullying”.  Clementi, upon finding out about this gross invasion of his privacy, committed suicide.  Lewinsky posits the question whether people can be shamed and humiliated to death and the answer is yes.  Lewinsky speaks about how her mother sat by her side, day after day, in the wake of the 1998 impeachment scandal, fearful for her life.

People, in both their private and public lives, have found ways to use the internet and modern electronic technology to achieve real-time connections, where very quickly, with little time given to reflection and thought, they pour out their personal business, they run with spreading stories that are complete lies, with no concerns about the veracity of the information they pass along.

The Clementi tragedy highlights the callous, cruelty of some college students, but Lewinsky skipped over another huge change in our cultural landscape wrought by the information superhighway – our political elites and their moneyed supporters and the press have joined in the reckless, hit and run political attacks, where Lewinsky serves as a prime example of the roadkill left behind.  While the past 17 years have been a struggle for Lewinsky to even find a job, the queen of the Clinton hit squad sits poised to run for President of the United States.  The use of the internet to sway political opinion has evolved  to the point where the current President of the United States, a man who lies more than the Clintons, has his administration writing “narratives”, replete with gross fabrications and distortions, to sell his policies to the American people.

Now, in light of all the things the public has come to know recently about Hillary’s private email server in her home and questions about her off the records intelligence-gathering via Sid Blumenthal, let me once again state that my story related in Messages of mhere (tabbed at the top of my home page) is the TRUTH. Is the idea that she sent some of her minions out to investigate an annoying conservative poster, whose comments were being borrowed by some right-wing pundits, so far-fetched as the details of her private communications network run from her home emerge?  Alas, mhere didn’t belong to any “vast, right-wing conspiracy”, then or now.  In whatever user id, I write under, mhere, libertybelle, or susanholly – I remain fiercely independent., with no political connections – a private American citizen.

I offered the real-life identities of every person mentioned to several reporters, as I stated a while back – no takers.  Oh, the things I wrote about way back then on the excite message boards – I mocked the Clinton spinmeisters (professional LIARS), who invaded those message boards to spin the story.  I pointed out the idiocy of their LIES.  And in mhere fashion – I made sure that I had the last word in each debate.

Yes, alas, my story sounds so far-fetched and after all, while she gets feted and fawned over the more she lies, I am the person who was locked up in a mental facility for 18 days, unable to get even my own family to listen to me.  Yes, my rights were violated repeatedly, and despite being able to shower, dress, talk coherently, someone(s) tried to have me permanently committed to a state mental hospital – something you’d expect in a communist country.  All these records exist, the hearing that freed me – I was not ever advised of my rights or of the hearing.  I had to throw a fit to even get legal representation.  I want to expose every last person who aided in attacking me and helped spread the lies about me.  Why?  Because I believe that woman, the “co-President”,  used an Army commander to attack an enlisted family based on LIES.  She corrupted the chain of command and I will continue to try and expose why she is unfit to ever be commander-in-chief of the US Armed Forces, bequeathed to us by General George Washington.  I don’t even have a speeding ticket.  I’ve never owned a gun or belonged to any militia or “vast right-wing conspiracy”.  I was a homemaker, by choice, with no political connections whatsoever.

On this BookBub thing online, you can get a daily email of book deals and along with that Amish Peace book I mentioned recently, I bought another book called, “Stopping Words That Hurt:  Positive Words In a World Gone Negative”, by Dr. Michael D. Sedler.  The book is written from a Christian perspective, rich with Biblical stories about the sin of spreading evil through lies, gossip, and what the author in general refers to as “evil reporting”.  Well, having been on the receiving end of  some potent “evil reporting”, hopefully someday I can publicly expose the source.

Sedler, identifies 7 types of “evil reporters” we may encounter: backbiters, busybodies, complainers, murmurers, slanderers, talebearers, and whisperers. He states identification as a powerful tool to unite people around an “evil report”:

“Identification: Emotionally, intellectually, physically or spiritually connecting with another individual.”

Our partisan political factions feverishly work to gain support (identification) through spreading “evil reports”, with little regard for the TRUTH.  Sedler uses the divisiveness of Vietnam to explain how politics can divide not only the country, but create divides within families gathered at the dinner table.  America today is no less divided than it was during the Vietnam era, as evidenced by our polarized and paralyzed federal government.   Lewinsky carefully sidestepped delving into the political corruption within our two main political parties and she has set a noble purpose for her public speaking.  At some point, though, America will need to face up to the corruption attacking the very roots of our government – a breakdown and disregard for the rule of law by those entrusted to protect and defend The Constitution of the United States.

Seeking Justice

The internet provides an opportunity for any wanna-be writers/journalists to get their scribblings, the good, the bad and the putrid, before the public eye.  When I first started writing my blog, I worried endlessly over the myriad of typos and grammatical errors missed in proofreading and my greatest fear was of writing posts that sound stupid.  After two years of blogging, there remain plenty of typos and grammatical errors and more often than I would wish, I write stupid stuff.  But, I love writing, researching topics that catch my attention and most of all I am so thankful and grateful to have some regular readers and commenters to keep me humble and on my toes. This one’s a personal, lengthy, speaking my thoughts aloud post and it may prove to be very stupid too – so you’re duly warned.

In the past month, I’ve been engrossed in following the Jessica Lane Chambers murder in Panola County, Mississippi.  The Last Refuge blog (The Conservative Treehouse), along with several other blogs, twitter folks and facebook pages, has been relentlessly covering this murder case.  Jessica’s family and friends hit twitter and facebook pleading for help in solving her murder too – along with asking for donations for reward money for information leading to the arrest of Jessica’s murderer(s) and also money for the medical bills from her brief hospital stay the night she died.  Why the family is getting the bills, I don’t know, since Jessica was an adult, but that’s what the family facebook page states.  The online journalists also ask for donations to continue their work.

Between the competing online journalists engrossed in this case and Jessica’s family, plus a multitude of locals in Panola County who, likewise, have hit the internet to make their views known, offer their insights into everything from the racial dynamics, the gang situation, decoding regional vernacular, and even climbing out on limbs to paste leaves on the ever-expanding family trees in this colorful forest of characters, whose names parade across the world wide-open field of online “journalism”, the only truth revealed is nature abhors a vacuum!  In this vacuum of officialdom (the law-enforcement community), offering no new facts to gnaw on, this case serves as the ebola strain of internet sleuthing.

On December 21, 2014, a commenter, TexasRanger, posted a comment on my blog, warning me to be careful of accepting The Conservative Treehouse’s facts, laying out a methodical listing of open source material belying a stated fact from that blog.  I like a lot of the blogging at The Conservative Treehouse, as it quite often fits my conservative political viewpoint, but after watching what can only be described as an unseemly pissing contest, between some online journalist, Charles Johnson, at a news site called Got News (which I used as a source once, God forbid), The Conservative Treehouse and a few other bloggers trying to trash not only the merits of their respective investigative journalism, but now it’s down to trashing each other personally, tread warily.

So, this journalist, Charles Johnson, ran with a scoop yesterday, a phone interview with Jessica Chambers old boyfriend, Bryan Rudd, formerly from Panola County, now residing in Iowa, (criminal record available online).  Johnson asked few questions and Rudd rambled on for an half-hour, listing several men, to include Jessica’s father, Ben Chambers (criminal record available online), as potential suspects. Then, Johnson ran the piece trashing the journalistic integrity of the CTH blogger, sundance.  CTH followed with a rebuttal.

The flaming went back and forth in comments on twitter, between CTH supporters and Johnson, in the comments on the CTH blog, but then a commenter, carterzest,  on the CTH blog did a screenshot of Rudd’s twitter feed (Folk Deundra Nation is the moniker – Folk Nation being a gang, but Rudd claims he’s not affiliated with any gang, moving on…), accusing Charles Johnson of recording their phone conversation without permission (comment posted January 4, 2015 at 3:26am). Rudd has this tweet on his twitter feed dated 11:03 pm, January 3, 2015.

You have to become a screenshot professional to keep up with this mess, and being technologically-challenged, I haven’t mastered screenshots and struggle even trying to upload photos to this blog.  Sorry, I can’t post the screenshot photo.  Information comes and goes on social media sites very quickly, tweets flutter away, facebook conversations get removed, pages get reinvented under new names, blogs get reworked, reality shifts as the narrative gets revised.

I hope there is justice for Jessica Chambers, but likewise I hope there is justice for the young man, Deandre Joshua, who was killed in Ferguson, MO in a similar brutal fashion.  Justice should be for everyone in America.

I know how it feels to want to cry out for justice, having felt that way since 1999.  My blog is not investigative journalism – it’s my thoughts, views, opinions and most importantly the one place where I feel like I have a voice.  I’ve felt drawn to Jessica’s story, because this young woman was betrayed and brutalized by so many people in her young life.  The shroud of lies, trying to bury her case, made me think of my own situation.  I wrote about what happened to me in my Messages of mhere story, and yes, that’s the truth, to the best of my recollection and each person mentioned exists – they have real life identities.  I’m happy many people are fighting for justice for Jessica, because such a heinous crime calls out for action.

So, for the record, regarding my own situation related in Messages of mhere, tabbed on my home page,  I contacted professional reporters and amateurs last year, in hopes of getting someone to help me drag thatwitch2016 to justice (expose how far she went to silence me over my Excite message board postings, under the user name mhere,  in 1998).  She had all that power and I was just a nobody homemaker, yet she felt compelled to silence me. I was attacked in my own home.  This girl Jessica wanted to turn her life around, she got a job in a store, but she was struggling.  I feel thankful that I survived, unlike poor Jessica.  I got a job in a store too, I finished raising my kids, but that attack damaged every relationship in my life.  Her attack screams out though; she lost her life in a horrific manner.

Tenaciousness is one of my best and worst character traits – I dig for information relentlessly, I fight against injustice relentlessly and I’ve been fighting bullies long before it became trendy.  All these years, I’ve felt personally violated by the attack on me, but a burning anger goes much deeper that the Army I love was egregiously used and abused too.  She, thatwitch2016, through her husband, used Army assets to attack a private citizen on American soil. My husband was still on active duty in the US Army then, so they used a retired general to attack an enlisted family based on lies she conjured up.  They corrupted the chain of command using the Army for personal political reasons. I believe this to be the TRUTH and yet, I can’t prove it on my own.

A few years back, I posted some comments on Ralph Peters’ (thepottsvillepundit) column at the New York Post.  At that time, I was also writing on my computer about my plan to expose thatwitch2016.  Comments on Peters’ column disappeared. my email and facebook accounts were hacked, then back to square one.  For me, the very thought that she might become the next Commander-In-Chief of the US Armed Forces, not only disgusts me, it terrifies me.

Jessica’s case highlights small town corruption, where it’s hard to find a hairbreadth’s distance between the integrity of the officials and the criminals.  My case goes all the way to the top in America.  And just like mentioned above, that online postings can vanish in the blink of an eye – my blog could vanish too.

Last year, I decided to seek help in my fight for justice and I contacted The Washington Free Beacon twice, Bill O’Reilly twice, PJmedia once, That Last Refuge blog twice and Sharyl Attkisson once.  I offered them the key to the real identities of every person mentioned in Messages of mhere, except for marfark, because I only knew his user name.  I hoped my blog would demonstrate that I write rational, researched stuff, not wild conspiracy theories.

I lay claim to being a homemaker for 18 years and I’ve worked in a store since 1999.  I served in the Army shy of two years, getting out when I was pregnant with my first child.  I was trained to be an Army journalist, but I make no claims to being a journalist.  I’ve tried to be an honest person and a good citizen my entire life.  Here’s a message for Jeff (if you’re reading this) I would like my Good Citizen booklet (mentioned in Messages of mhere btw) back, please.  I received only one response –  from The Last Refuge blog:

“We receive hundreds of emails each week. Since we operate with only volunteer staff we are unable to respond to all of them.. 

 Unfortunately, we cannot conduct investigations on every matter brought to our attention, no matter how valid and well documented.

That simple courtesy of responding to me made me respect the folks at The Last Refuge blog.  I’m not asking them or anyone for help, but I wanted to say my piece today.  Yep, posting this is stupid.  My personal quest for justice continues alone, in military terms, a Forlorn Hope, a lost cause from a long ago scandal.  Jessica’s case is still fresh, with the trail not yet cold.  I continue hoping their blog will be a force for seeking justice for Jessica.  Let’s hope that with an alphabet soup of federal law enforcement in Panola County, MS and so much online effort, sunlight can vanquish the forces of Darkness in this small town American case crying out for justice.  We need every small step toward upholding The Constitution of the United States of America, where corruption pervades at every level, especially at the top.

Time to bury the little blue dress?

Monica Lewinsky started a Twitter account and has begun speaking out against “bullying”,  “Monica Lewinsky: Drudge ruined my life”.   Drudge, who was the first to report online about her affair with the married President, led the pack with testing the waters of internet communications, which  revolutionized information dissemination. Spared from any blame for the destruction of her character, Lewinsky oddly fails to even mention the Clinton machine, led by Hillary Rodham Clinton.  Yes, “the smartest woman in the world”  launched probably the largest propaganda campaign in history, to save the Clinton presidency. One can bet, that if Hillary Clinton announces her 2016 candidacy, Monica Lewinsky will probably endorse her, such is the rigor of Lewinsky’s introspection and dissection of the events that transpired.  Lewinsky states she was in love with Bill Clinton, which assuredly clouds judgment, but beyond that, her political beliefs fall to the left, making it easier to buy into the far,-right-wing conspiracy myth.

There may be hope for Lewinsky, since she does recognize the “bullying” part of the attack, to discredit and malign her character; she just refuses to see that she was in love with a weak man, whose wife made it her job to clean up his political scandals.

Yep, time to post this one under the Messages of mhere tab at the top of my home page.  Perhaps there will be a Book II to that saga….  Luckily for mhere, she embraced the internet and moved from message boards to blogging and since this is America, she has a lawyer to fight for her rights this time……. and a small team to help her fight against thatwitch2016’s propaganda campaign.

She’ll go with the second definition, since she loves reading about military strategy, but she hates violence, hummm,  yep, she’ll stick to her war plan to “win the hearts and minds”, no guns or violence allowed…   A bunch of left-wing reactionaries led by a feminist icon vs mhere, a long-time homemaker, excellent cookie-baker.  Where the story goes,  we’ll have to wait and see, lol.  Stay tuned for “extreme catfighting” – the fighting method of choice of thatwitch2016 and her political machine  – petty character assassinations, intimidation, using vicious gossip to turn people against the targeted person, but most of all LIES, LIES and more, LIES.  All mhere can say at this point is,  “MEOW!!!” (that’s catfighting lingo for “Bring It On!”)

What is mhere fighting for?  To defend The Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, of course.  Army assets were used to attack mhere.  The chain of command was corrupted by presidentmendacity, thatwitch2016 and their political operatives.  She intends to prove that a retired general was recruited to spearhead the attack against her, on  American soil  (posse comitatus anyone?) – all to keep presidentmendacity in office.  The one thing that mhere never forgot was that they had tried to have her locked away in a state mental hospital – permanently, to silence her.  And, stuttering mhere had spent too many years finding her voice, to have it silenced by some insane partisan political hacks led by thatwitch2016.
