Dissecting Obama’s “comprehensive strategy”
Whose side is President Obama on? We’ve witnessed the results of his unerring ability to choose the side that harms American national interests the most, leaving American prestige at an all-time low and forcing Secretary of State, John Kerry, to scurry around trying to drum up a “coalition” to help fight ISIS. From CIA director, John Brennan, proclaiming the Muslim Brotherhood “mostly secular” to WH National Security Advisor, Susan Rice proclaiming Bowe Bergdahl a “hero” to the present brouhaha over Syrian “moderates”, it should be obvious to everyone that this administration’s cognitive dissonance behavior pattern is to refute facts with absurd fabricated narratives, deflect attention by creating new straw men to set ablaze, or revert to their default avoidance tactic – blame GWB.
Yesterday I began fuming when I read a Bergdahl update in the NY Post, which stated:
“But a senior Army official told me court-martialing Bergdahl would “make the president look bad.” In spite of damning evidence against him, the official expects Pentagon brass to separate him from the military with a less-than-honorable discharge, sparing Obama total embarrassment.”
This administration is playing a big game of charades again, just like the Benghazi YouTube video narrative to explain away their multiple security failures, their decision not to attempt a rescue of their besieged annex, but mostly to cover-up what exactly the mission was at that annex (gun-running from Libya to Syria). This time the facade is a “strategy to destroy ISIS”, yes, indeedy, his loyal minions began that by spending the first 48 hours arguing that this isn’t a “war” and therein lies the truth – this CINC is callously using American troops as propaganda tools. Every shred of military planning that makes sense to achieve that objective has been tossed into Obama’s eco-friendly recyclable waste basket. He’s ostensibly planning a multi-year plan for military action by discarding all of the recommendations from his top generals? Those first 48 hours arguing that this isn’t a “war” should clue you in that you’re watching another pathetic propaganda move to pretend he is doing something about ISIS, without having the guts to really do something. What he is really doing is waiting out the clock on the press and American public’s attention span, because he knows front page stories fade and the public moves on, happy to forget yesterday’s news. His generals are gumming up the works, by speaking out about the lack of a winning “war” plan, but they should realize by now, that this CINC ignores all of their advice. The reports about the WH intention to control bombing targets in Syria make sense, because he wants to be able to stop this “not war” once the public clamor about the gruesome beheadings’ optics dies down.
This administration lives by polling data, believing that if they can weather the media storm now, the public will lose interest and then it becomes very easy to dismiss those who bring up the matter later as partisan haters, intent on harming the President. The press willingly plays along, as evidenced by no real answers or accountability from ‘fast and furious” to the present. Even Bergdahl’s fate has been put on ice until the administration can quietly shuffle him out of uniform with at most, not-so-smiley face discharge papers in hand. Once you learn the lingo these Obama mouthpieces use, the moves make sense – it’s about their narratives, their optics, their agenda.

Wonderings…
Do you ever read/watch a news story that leaves niggling questions in the back of your mind, making you wonder what the whole story is or how this news story came about? So, here are a few items, both foreign and domestic, that left big question marks for me.
OK, so an American two-star general was murdered in an insider attack in Afghanistan. So, upon reading two stories about his bio (here and here), I deduced he was a supply officer from a desk job at the Pentagon. Then how on earth did this man, who had never deployed, get selected to be the deputy commander for training Afghan troops in a freakin’ war zone? I also wondered if he was armed when this attack happened and I wondered what the security arrangements were, because one report said he sustained 12 gunshot wounds. I wondered if he and his wife were Obama supporters. The media dutifully opined, “What a tragedy!”, and the story was buried along with the general.
All the usual race baiters and agitators in America rushed to MO to create another national “angelic black child gunned down” story, but this time it’s a police officer who is the evil do’er and not a wanna-be cop. So, yes to express their outrage at this purported “injustice” angry mobs of black folks started rioting and looting, yes somehow stealing and destroying other people’s property makes such a strong moral statement. Of course, Eric Holder, who can’t be bothered to move quickly on any Obama scandals, from fast and furious to the IRS , immediately stated the Justice Department was monitoring this situation and now the FBI is on the case. The President, who made his career racial grievance politics, already issued a statement, although he did not assert, “the police acted stupidly!”…. yet.
The Clinton political machine, after several PR trial balloons to lift-off the smartest woman in the world’s 2016 campaign deflated, from the poor, poor pitiful me poverty-stricken flop to her book tour fiasco, decided to take on the Obama political machine and make her case as a strong, decisive leader. While President Obama, our embarrassing leader from behind on the world stage, can’t figure out how to fight America’s real enemies, rest assured in the world of gutter politics, he doesn’t pull his punches. And in true liberal fashion, he treats female political opponents just like males. Watch out Hillary, you only have tired old feminist credentials and all the Clinton scandal baggage, but Obama holds the trump card, he’s the first black President. Wonder who will blink first in this battle royal among all the Democrats. Samantha Power gets to help fight the “monster” again, lol. Well, I can’t fault Samantha, because I think of her as thatwitch2016. This battle will be priceless.
Speaking of President Obama, his buddy Erdogan in Turkey just won re-election, by a healthy margin. Erdogan promises to build a “new Turkey” and his “new Turkey” centers on rolling back modernity and secular reforms,in favor of Islamist…. ones moving backwards to the 7th century. Turkey is still part of NATO, doesn’t that make you wonder about that alliance…

From Eric Holder: A message to the people of Ferguson : News

Building a bridge
Another Ferguson, MO looming question:
The media and Rand Paul have run full-throttle about the “militarization” of police forces all over the country. Not talked about in this latest media hype is the larger “militarization” effort by President Obama at the federal level, arming agencies, like the IRS and the BLM, to the teeth. So, Eric Holder rushes to send the FBI to Ferguson and the media is running, without blinking, with the story about the Pentagon arming local police forces and how that is a threat to citizens. So, who is promoting this “militarization” of local police and promoting training for mass civil disturbances, well, according to this 2013 Huffington Post piece, “7 Ways The Obama Administration Has Accelerated Police Militarization” – it’s the Obama administration.
For any citizen who cares to do some fact-checking and a little research, rather than be led by race-baiters and deceitful partisans, this Ferguson story serves as just a small flashpoint in a much larger epic battle being waged against US citizens by the Obama administration. It’s quite amazing to listen to Eric Holder, who implemented “Fast and Furious” and long ago participated in such notable excessive uses of force as the Waco stand-off and his starring role in the SWAT type raid to seize Elian Gonzalez for deportation to Cuba, He ‘s now the champion for Hispanic children to stay in America and he’s all for “militarizing” the executive branch, with arming even the the US Post Office and promoting the Department of Homeland Security to partner with local police to arm, train, indoctrinate them to look for “homegrown terrorists” and other domestic threats. But, rest assured he’s the man to investigate this Ferguson situation.
Finally, the question, is the media a willing dupe to promote left-wing partisan narratives and little more than puffed up propagandists? They’ve run with unsubstantiated stories for days now and when a video emerges that belies their urban myth fantasy, you can expect the press to run for cover or pretend they weren’t a part of creating the vast deception.
Rest assured the executive branch is behind fueling the racial discord in America, they are behind dividing America into angry, aggrieved hostile camps, and they have set up this “divided America” canard. The press is either too stupid or too blinded by politically correct dogma to see beyond the lies and deception.
Truth matters and therein the fate of America lies. We have hostile camps in America, left and right, black, white and every shade in-between, who find it easier to treat each other as enemies rather than talk and find common ground as fellow American citizens. We’ve got too much diversity training and not enough American citizen training:
“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
From the OJ case to this current Ferguson situation, the chasm that divides America widens and deepens, making building a bridge more challenging, but build a bridge we must. Moving beyond politically driven factions, a daunting challenge, if ever there was one, rests as the challenge that will define America’s future. It doesn’t get any clearer than “united we stand, divided we fall”!

Candid camera?
Haven’t been following this Ferguson, MO mess closely, so perhaps someone can fill me in or answer this question. With all these eyewitness accounts, surely there is a cell phone video or photo to corroborate the murdered in cold blood version, right?

George Will and Hugh Hewitt, despite the mounting evidence that almost no Democrat will enforce existing immigration laws, are still plugging amnesty for the latest wave of illegal aliens. Glenn Beck, for his part, handed a talking point to Dick Durb…

More border disorder
Watching the political left subvert the US Constitution on so many fronts lately demonstrates they believe they possess the political power to frame the entire debate. The mainstream media willingly aids and abets their propaganda blitz, by buying into the terms the political left dictates. We now get admonished that it’s racist and cruel to refer to these “illegal immigrants” as “illegal”, no, no, now they are “refugees” fleeing grossly exaggerated threats at home. Any thinking person, should be able to discern this disinformation campaign in full-swing, but the mainstream media definitely is buying into the propaganda. The choice of “refugee” serves an important legal purpose, with “refugees” being entitled to legal protections under US immigration laws.
By forcing their terms on us, we also lose our ability to discuss the issue from any other point of view, because they usurp the moral high ground and caricature any opposition as far-right bigots, haters, or potential right-wing extremists, neatly silencing all opposition. This technique has worked on racial issues, gay marriage, abortion/reproductive matters, climate change, and many, many other hot buttons issues. We should recognize the semantical ploy by now, but somehow their relentless talking points technique works, as reporters, pundits and the American public, fall into line, buying the new definition, which neatly changes the terms of the argument. The political left runs on cheap emotional manipulation as the definitive measure of the merits of issues, believing that poll numbers determine the issues in America. Sadly, the political right now governs by poll numbers too and few politicians will brave the potential political backlash that comes from rowing against the tide.
So, here’s where the absurdity of the situation hits me, Rahm Emanuel, mayor of gang-banging Chicago, is offering to take in “refugees” from Central American gang violence. Now, ponder that for a moment – yes, these poor “refugees” (many reportedly with gang affiliations) will find a safe haven in Chicagoland. Yes, of course, this all makes perfect sense ……….. we’re ostensibly rescuing them from gang violence, only to send them to a city besieged by gang violence. Where is the public dissent, calling “bullshit” to President Obama and the left’s pile of crap that you’d need hip waders to navigate.
C’mon, yes, we’ve got lots of stupid people, but it takes collective hypnosis to not see this blatant LIE. Oh, libertybelle, this post will add you to another list of haters. You would turn your back on these poor “refugee” children., blah, blah, blah. Look, Glenn Beck did his humanitarian caravan a week ago and the left hijacked that, along with these supposed “Christian charities”, whom the federal government is paying hundreds of millions of dollars, ostensibly to care for these “poor refugee children”, deftly bamboozling the media and the American public on this complete lawlessness spearheaded by this White House.
George Will chimed in supporting blanket amnesty for this flood of illegal immigrants today, so the push among America’s elites seems like a united political front, with the Republican power brokers decidedly unmotivated to speak out against this lawlessness. The issue isn’t whether America can absorb all these immigrants, which sounds like Will’s argument. The issue boils down to where does this lawlessness end with a porous border, meaningless US immigration laws and complete breakdown of control over who comes across our Southern border. A green light invites a rising flood, not a solution to stem the flow. Securing the border is a national security necessity. Pretending these illegal immigrants are going to assimilate and embrace American values seems a dangerous delusion and potentially a threat to our national security, as this mess escalates. Of course, it’s easier to do the feel-good, “I care about the downtrodden” sound bites and not be accused of being a “hater”.
And frankly, anyone encouraging poor Central American folks to negotiate with drug cartels and criminals to get to America or sending young children alone and presuming other people will provide care is negligent in the extreme in their parental role – there I said it. This isn’t like Jewish parents sending their kids to escape the Holocaust in Germany. Sadly, these poor people are being used by left-wing American politicians as political pawns and let Nancy Pelosi open her home and treat these illegals like baby Jesus and then I might begin to believe her despicable pandering.
Without securing the border and stopping this flood, the problem will escalate.

Obama’s girls strike again….
The bimbos at the US State Department strike again (ok GMD, they really are bimbos) … this time it was Marie Harf’s turn to make a complete fool of herself (and the United States), because these amateur nincompoops are the face the world puts on us. Hot Air blog offers, “U.S. State Dept. accuses Russia of acts of war against Ukraine” and the British UK Telegraph ran with, “MH17: US says Russia planning to send rebels ‘more powerful’ rocket launchers”.
Why the Obama administration continues to allow these clueless twits at the State Department to discuss military matters, I have no idea, and one can only wonder who is providing them with the analysis, but their “information” lacks credibility and makes us look like a banana republic. After this national nightmare, known as the Obama presidency, is over, perhaps these women at the State Department can offer their services to North Korea, as their “information” is beginning to sound much like that propaganda. Hey, Dennis Rodman would probably even volunteer to do the honors of introducing these ladies to Kim Jong Un.
I apologize in advance for posting so much of KGS Nightwatch’s 7/25/2014 edition, but the comments on this latest State Department news release explain the matter brilliantly and succinctly (plus I laughed at the dry humor at the choice of words):
“Comment: Today’s statement contains less information than meets the ear. The first red flag is the admission that the new evidence is human source information, not radio intercepts or imagery. Human source information is not the best evidence of military events that are observable by technological collectors. Such military events include convoy movements and artillery shelling from Russia.
US TV ran video clips of artillery fire, although the source of the information about shelling is from human sources, according to State, not ground-based video or other imagery sources. The video was file footage, but not labeled as such. Nor did it identify whose guns were firing and where the firing occurred. It was electronic age disinformation.
Another concern is that the shelling has been taking place for days to weeks, according to the press conference. However, no Ukrainian regime, army or National Guard propagandists or spokesmen have made claims about Russian artillery fire. It is inconceivable that Kyiv would remain silent about an act of aggression of this magnitude.
The third concern is the admission that some human sources reported that Russia “intends” to deliver heavier weapons and more powerful rocket launchers to the separatists. Intent, a mental condition, may be inferred from behavior of some kind: words spoken or physical action taken or both. Thus, for this evidence to be credible someone had to have heard someone else speaking or to have seen physical activities that imply intent, but not planning. The sources did not report that Russia “plans” to deliver equipment, only that it intends to do so. The State Department spokesperson also was not questioned about what people in the Russian leadership have this intent or when they formulated it and intend to act on it.
Finally, a Russian decision to provide more and heavier weapons to the separatists plus artillery fire support would mark a major shift in Russian policy for handling the Ukraine situation. The evidence could be accurate, but a shift of this magnitude would have many ripple effects in the open source information domain for many reasons. Those ripples have not been reported by any open sources.
At this point, today’s press statement featured an unprofessional disclosure of raw intelligence. The shelling has not occurred. The other information is unconfirmed.“(my emphasis)
There you have it folks – trust KGS Nightwatch to provide brilliant analysis and blunt …. “unconfirmed” and “unprofessional”….. yep, Obama and his girls at work, yay for “girl power” taking over military matters in America.
