Trump: the Russian patsy

Trump uses Twitter not only to get out his messaging, without having to go through the media, but he also uses it constantly to set-up the media with inflammatory tweets, to get them to overreact.

The mainstream media went all-in on running the Clinton Scorched Earth 2.0 pile-on to bury Trump in dirt during the general election.  Wikileaks used hacked emails to expose the Democrats corrupt media collusion to run the Clinton talking points, memes and even emails exposing Donna Brazile sneaking debate questions to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, which assuredly is cheating.

Trump won the election legitimately despite massive corruption, from the “GOP Insurgency” where the mainstream media and FOX News gave Trump BILLIONS of dollars in free media to promote Trump.  Without that unfair advantage, I doubt Trump would have been able to pull off his “winning in all the polls” and “Trump doesn’t play by the rules” mantra.  The spin effort also railroaded Republican leaders into endless set-up questioning, asserting, “Trump is winning in the polls, don’t you need to get behind the winner?”  This was an orchestrated messaging campaign.  However, in the end no one coerced anyone to vote for a particular candidate and the Department of Homeland Security reported that there were no irregular cyber activities to hack into voting machines detected.

There were plenty of statements made by Trump sleazes, like Roger Stone, throughout the campaign that presaged Wikileaks hits, as if they knew about the Wikileaks email releases in advance of their release. There’s plenty of evidence that the mainstream media went along with the GOP Insurgency in the primary to throw the GOP into chaos and help Hillary.  There was plenty of corruption in both presidential camps and also with the media participating in scorched earth campaign efforts, Trump glorying in Wikileaks leaks, in addition to unsavory campaign attacks like Hillary’s campaign orchestrating the Alicia Machado hit on Trump and DrudgeReport and Breitbart launching stories to hype Hillary the decrepit old woman spin efforts.

The 2016 presidential election was a national embarrassment, with two candidates who will do or say anything, no matter how low, to win.

The FBI Notes on Hillary’s email server have been glossed over by Democrats and the mainstream media, who are content to repeat that FBI director, James Comey, said there was nothing criminal about Hillary and her cronies using an unsecured private server to send highly classified information.  The media and Dems also latch onto and repeat that the FBI said her server wasn’t hacked.  Well, the FBI Notes show, another server the Clintons used, 13 blackberries Hillary used and none of them were ever handed over to the FBI, plus some laptops that had server emails on them.  The Platte River Network also had Hillary’s emails on a server and they Bleach Bit the emails and they put those emails on a laptop and mailed it to Hillary’s lawyers, but it got lost in the mail.

What the FBI was investigating was email CHAINS.  From the FBI notes and released emails, it’s apparent that people beyond the State Department were involved in these CHAINS and some of them used private email to email Hillary – that exposed classified information too.  How anyone can be sure information on Hillary’s servers was not compromised by hostile foreign intelligence boggles the mind when one considers how many unsecure and unaccounted for devices were used to send and receive these emails.  Then along comes the perv Weiner’s laptop and lo’ and behold Huma Abedin had lots of State Department emails stored on that laptop, which she never turned over.  My hunch is we have not heard the last of that Weiner/Abedin laptop and those emails.  I have never believed the story that the Clinton criminal investigation was reopened, that close to the election, just so the FBI could get a subpoena and read them.  I believe there’s a lot more to this story.

Hillary’s email server was really Bill Clinton’s private server, which he had set-up in his home to for his Clinton Foundation emails.  When Hillary became Secretary of State, that server was upgraded to what the FBI referred to as the Pagliano server.  So, while the FBI’s focus was classified State Department emails on Hillary’s private server, that server contained not only Hillary’s emails, but also Bill Clinton foundation & personal emails, Chelsea Clinton had an account on that server also Huma Abedin.  The foundation emails were why, I believe,  so much effort was made to Bleach Bit the Platte River server and why David Kendall, Cheryl Mills, went to such extraordinary lengths to cover-up the scandal and why Heather Samuelson, refused to even tell the FBI what keywords were used in searching Hillary’s emails ostensibly for State Dept. work-related emails.  Hillary kept saying that she never told anyone to delete any emails and that’s probably true, because I believe the real scandal that needed to be covered up was not classified emails on her home-brew server, but Bill Clinton’s Clinton Foundation emails and that Bill Clinton orchestrated this cover-up with his long-time lawyer and friend, David Kendall.  Mainstream media reported that David Kendall had a thumb drive of the entire email content on that server, so where is that thumb drive?  Patrick Kennedy, the State Department employee, who has done his best to thwart the Congressional Oversight Committee’s investigation, under oath stated that he believed the FBI has that thumb drive.  That thumb drive of the server contents should exonerate the Clintons, who claim to be innocent victims of a right-wing witch hunt.

Let’s move on to Trump, the lying, corrupt, con man and his latest antics attacking US intelligence over the Russian hacking.   Trump has been playing this game touting Wikileaks and trashing US intelligence, which undermines US national security.

We have a president-elect who is touting a Russian front, while openly attacking US intelligence agencies.

Yesterday, Buzzfeed published a dossier of unverified information about compromising intelligence the Russians have on Trump.  The media went into frenzies on Twitter, but Trump attacked the media, the dossier and US intelligence agencies today.  He started off the morning with some tweets touting the Russian government as stating the dossier is false.  Got that – the president-elect of the United States trusts Russian intelligence, but does not trust US intelligence agencies.

Here are Trump’s morning tweets:

Russia just said the unverified report paid for by political opponents is “A COMPLETE AND TOTAL FABRICATION, UTTER NONSENSE.” Very unfair!

Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA – NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!

I win an election easily, a great “movement” is verified, and crooked opponents try to belittle our victory with FAKE NEWS. A sorry state!

Intelligence agencies should never have allowed this fake news to “leak” into the public. One last shot at me.Are we living in Nazi Germany?

Then Donald Trump set-up a press conference where he did his usual sideshow.  He had stage props of course, but in this one he had a table of folders supposedly containing information on how he will separate himself from his business, where in that VA fundraiser press conference he had a million dollar check to a Marine charity as a stage prop or the press conference where he had Trump steak, wine and magazines to tout his great businesses.  He attacked the media today , but he also attacked US intelligence agencies.

I think he’s a national security threat to the United States.  That is my gut feeling and I believe he lashed out like this because he knows the FBI and US intelligence agencies are investigating his ties to the Russian mob.  I believe there’s way more to the Clinton investigation than her unsecured email server too.  Knowing how she jeopardized highly classified information, because she didn’t want to have to carry two devices (that was her lame explanation) she is definitely a threat to national security and should never be allowed to handle sensitive information again.

And since Trump lives on Twitter, I suspect what set him and his corrupt cronies in Trump Tower off into staging this sideshow today were tweets by various people on Twitter alluding to US intelligence investigations, like former NSA analyst, John Schindler’s tweetstorm January 9th:

 https://storify.com/Ayei_Eloheichem/trump-the-russian-mob-and-the-fsb.

Schindler lays out allegations that Trump is a long-time money-launderer for the Russian mob in 15 tweets, like this one:

There are literally dozens of Russian OC scams, some gargantuan, that we know were based at Trump properties — quite a coincidence. /10

And along with the Russians and Trump playing tag team at the expense of US intelligence, Wikileaks kept tweeting crap like this:

WikiLeaks Retweeted Donald J. Trump

Trump understanding the difference between a leak and a “leak” (a pseudo-leak or plant with pet media by CIA/admin)

WikiLeaks added,

This is where I’m at in regards to Trump – I hope the FBI and US Intelligence agencies complete their investigations quickly and I hope they find enough to impeach Trump.  The sooner the better.  I have watched his tweets praising Putin and the way they tag team messages back and forth for several weeks, but seeing him insinuate US intelligence agencies are Nazis, while accepting Russian intel without question shows he is  the MOST USEFUL IDIOT the Russians have ever acquired.

I sure don’t support a do-over election.  The election was legitimate.  For weeks, I’ve been saying he deserves a chance and he does.  I never thought I would hope a President of the United States gets impeached, but after watching Trump undercut, belittle, and undermine US intelligence, while praising Wikileaks, Putin and now Russian intelligence, playing right into their propaganda, well, I believe Donald J. Trump is a threat to The Constitution.  I hope we have some leaders who will abide by The Constitution and vigilantly watch every step Trump takes as President and I pray that our intelligence agencies come up with enough compelling evidence to impeach him.  It feels odd to have a president-elect, whom I hope the FBI can build a case for Congress to say to Donald J. Trump, “You’re fired!”

His games with Putin are a threat to the United States, because he is not only undermining Americans’ confidence in US intelligence agencies, every time he pulls these sideshow gimmicks, he’s undercutting America’s standing with our long-time allies.

I also hope the FBI can make a case against the Clintons and their massive money-laundering operation through the Clinton Foundation.

I would love to see Trump and the Clintons wholesale public corruption exposed and their money-laundering operations hung out to dry.

Another day of America politics gone off the rails.

Congress certified the Electoral College vote from December, so it’s official, Donald J. Trump will be the next United States President and Mike Pence will be the next Vice President.

Now, to the surreal, is the intelligence nightmare that continues over the Russian hacking and what influence it had in the 2016 Presidential election.

Yesterday, intelligence officials testified under oath to Congress finally, but there were no smoking gun sound bites from that hearing presided over by Senator John McCain.

Hours later news media outlets started reporting on leaked information from a senior administration official:

“Meanwhile, US intelligence has received new information following the election that gave agencies increased confidence that Russia carried out the hack and did so, in part, to help Trump win.

Included in that new information were intercepted conversations of Russian officials expressing happiness at Trump’s win. Another official described some of the messages as congratulatory.

Officials said this was just one of multiple indicators to give them high confidence of both Russian involvement and Russian intentions. Officials reiterated that there is no single intercepted communication that qualifies as a “smoking gun” on Russia’s intention to benefit Trump’s candidacy or to claim credit for doing so.”

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/05/politics/intel-report-says-us-identifies-go-betweens-who-gave-emails-to-wikileaks/index.html

What outraged me was intercepted signal intelligence was leaked by the Obama administration to clearly bolster the Democratic spin effort to delegitimize Trump’s win, when top intelligence officials were in front of the cameras for hours earlier and had the opportunity to provide intelligence that was deemed suitable for release to the public.  It’s disgusting to see intelligence gathered to keep all Americans safe used to fuel partisan political agendas.

Trump is demanding Congress investigate this leak that he perceives as a witch-hunt, but he has devoted a lot of effort to sucking up to Putin and championing Julian Assange as some sort of crusader for the truth, when in reality Assange’s leaking is not geared toward governmental transparency, as he claims, but works to destabilize western democracies and foment distrust  among Western alliances. His operation works to bolster the agenda of Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin.

The American mainstream media greatly discredited itself by participating in the Clinton Scorched Earth 2.0 effort to promote the GOP Insurgency to the tune of billions of dollars in free media and selling Trump talking points and sitting on piles of dirt on Trump during the primary.  Then in the general election, the mainstream media jumped into action working to bury Trump in all that dirt they had compiled for months.

Trump mastered the Clinton scorched earth,  Sure, he benefited from the Wikileaks leaks and the FBI criminal investigation being reopened, but he also benefited from Hillary’s terrible missteps like calling Trump’s supporters a “basket of deplorables” and sanctimonious speeches, poor campaign planning on which states to visit and a lack of a campaign message.  She campaigned on “Trump is Deplorable” and it backfired.

Trump’s talking points – the “Make America Great Again” slogan, the focus on jobs, securing the border, and rebuilding the military resonated with many Americans as meat and potatoes issues.

If anything provided Trump the boost to winning this election, I would argue it’s the very corrupt billions of dollars of free media he was given by the media in the primary to wage his GOP Insurgency on the cheap.  Who the media colluded with for the Trump primary spin messaging has not been reported.  Who fed Trump those primary talking points and advised him to spin the “winning in all the polls” and other memes, has not been revealed yet either.

Wikileaks exposed the Clinton campaign’s corrupt media collusion, but make no mistake of it Trump’s GOP Insurgency was a product of corrupt media collusion too.

That’s why I was #NeverTump&NeverHillary all along.  Trump won the corrupt scorched earth battle, but the long war of protecting and defending The Constitution is the one every American should be fighting.  Both political parties in American are now completely controlled by very corrupt leadership.

The Democratic Party machine is a known entity,  The Clinton machine corruption is a known entity.  President Obama and his ties to the Chicago political machine are a known entity.

Trump’s financial ties to foreigners, his connections to organized crime, even his tax records aren’t known.  Trump’s siding with Putin and Wikileaks while attacking American intelligence agencies should raise alarm bells.  Trump’s insistence on tweeting about nuclear policy and other serious foreign policy issues should raise alarms too.

Trump corrupts everyone around him.  He is like the Clintons in that regard.   Newt Gingrich these days sounds like Lanny Davis.  Back in November Gingrich started selling thwarting anti-nepotism laws, so that Trump could have his son-in-law, Jared Kushner and daughter, Ivanka, working in the White House:

““I think they would have to get a waiver to the anti-nepotism law,” Gingrich, a longtime Trump surrogate, said on “Fox and Friends” on Wednesday. “That might be a little tricky, although I think if they worked at it, they could do it.””

http://www.politico.com/blogs/donald-trump-administration/2016/11/jared-kushner-may-need-nepotism-waiver-231794

Here’s Rep. Pete King on Julian Assange, pre-Trumpian and now:

“This person should be pursued,” King declared in a November 2010 Fox News interview. “Assange is absolutely guilty. He does have blood on his hands. And the fact is that there should be much more outrage.”

“They are aiding and abetting terrorist organizations. They are providing the weapons to terrorist organizations, giving them information which they can use to kill Americans,” King said of WikiLeaks, adding, “Because they are accessories to a terrorist organization, we should declare them a terrorist organization.”

In December that same year, Rep. King introduced a bill targeting WikiLeaks.

“I consider Mr. Assange a handmaiden of terror. And he definitely has blood on his hands as far as I’m concerned,” said former CIA Director James Woolsey, now a Trump national security adviser and media surrogate, in a November 2010 MSNBC interview.

Contrast that to his response Wednesday when asked about Mr. Trump’s citing of Julian Assange. “I don’t know what Julian Assange knows,” Woolsey said. “This really ought to be a situation in which we get at the facts and understand them before we start making judgments, it seems to me

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/key-trump-surrogates-once-led-fight-vs-wikileaks-and-assange/ar-BBxUNoz

Thankfully, James Woolsey had his fill of the Trump moral vacuum and walked away as a senior adviser to Trump yesterday.  One can only wonder how far Newt and some of these others will go selling their souls to prop up Donald J. Trump.

What alarms me the most is how effortlessly the Russians have been able to keep Americans frothing in partisan battles, to the point partisan factions put advancing their partisan agenda above the national security of the United States.  A president-elect with the emotional maturity of a 10 year-old champions Putin, strong-men in general, and a Russian front – Wikileaks and a senior official in the current White House is leaking intercepts of high level Russian officials to score partisan points.

Donald Trump was legally elected.  There was plenty of corrupt campaigning on both sides, corrupt media collusion and corrupt influence from abroad, but Homeland Security reported there was no unusual activity detected on election day, tampering with ballots.  Americans are free citizens and no one forced them to vote a certain way.

I will support President Trump on issues where I believe his policies are beneficial to America, but if he strays from The Constitution, I will speak out and support constitutional efforts to deal with that, whether it be through Congressional actions or Supreme Court rulings – the same as I have supported with every other President of the United States.

We are at a perilous cross-roads in America.  No matter what happens, my devotion is to defending The Constitution and referring to the rule of law to be championed above partisan causes.

That is where I stand:

Hand-me-downs

wp-1483053909409.jpg

A hand-me-down book from my childhood

Fair warning, this is going to be another backwoods PA story from my childhood.  Escape while you can:-)

I was born in 1960 and grew-up in a small village in the Pocono Mountains.  Our end of the county was and still is called the West End (which is synonymous with hicks).  Most of our neighbors were of PA German ancestry, although even in the 1960s, the urban exodus to the Poconos had begun.   The Poconos had been a vacation spot for city dwellers since the Civil War era, but during my childhood many of these urban visitors began building homes in the Poconos and staying year-round.  Many of the locals hold the urban dwellers moving into their peaceful country neighborhood as loud, boorish, pushy, stupid and very rude.

Back in the 90s, a phone conversation with my mother railing about some “stupid New Yorker” about sums up the sentiment and the disconnect.  My mother was complaining about some woman from New York who wanted the township to pay for street lights in her little residential area in the Poconos.  The woman also apparently had thought sidewalks would be a good idea.  My mother, like most locals, ended her complaints with a statement that went pretty much like, “I wish these damned city people would go back to the city and leave us alone!”

However, that unknown woman from New York got a very different reaction than my mother dealing with our pastor’s wife, who was not only New York City born and bred, but also Jewish.  The parsonage was right across the road from our home, so our pastor’s wife was also our neighbor.  My mother adored our pastor’s wife, my mother adored her elderly mother too, who would come and visit for several weeks at a time when I was a child.

It’s often interesting how many people will prejudge an entire group of people, but when they are in a situation where they are dealing with an individual from that group and getting to know him or her, all of sudden common ground can be found and friendships blossom.

Spending my adult life around Army communities, I’ve always been very grateful for the experience of being able to meet so many people from so many different countries, backgrounds, and experiences.  The thing that binds Army communities is soldiers with a common mission.  Their wives, no matter if they are foreign-born or American invariably become friends, share recipes, share in the worries when their spouses deploy, and share in a sense of community.

Finding that common ground in America is an existential crisis, not media hysteria about “fake news” or “Russian influence”.

The partisan political divides, listening to political pundits, reading news from various political stripes and observing comments on Twitter, facebook, etc., make me feel like these groups live on different planets, not in the same country.

So, back to my childhood, in a family with six kids, with widely different opinions.  For instance, conservative me, has a far-left brother, who was really into zero population growth as a cause.  When he lectured me when I was pregnant with my third child, asking if my husband and I thought our genes were so good that we had to spread them around with so many children, well, I didn’t get angry.  I smiled at him and replied, “Well, now that you mention it, yes, we do.”  I also told him I wanted 5 or 7 kids, because I like odd numbers (although we stopped “spreading our genes around”, overpopulating the world, at 4 kids).

No matter how angry we were at each other or how vehemently we disagreed, when it was dinner time, we all had to sit at the table and behave civilly.  My parents didn’t want to hear how mad we were or how much we disagreed or whether we had been fighting all day about something – we had to sit at the table and eat our dinner.  There was no taking your plate to another room or screaming at each other at the table allowed.

Especially with the advent of the internet, the splintering of America has escalated, where there’s really very little discussion in online political discussion forums, only hyper-charged partisan attacks.  Each side generates talking points, which the political combatants hurl back and forth non-stop.  Poll numbers get tossed in to validate positions, although really polls are meaningless – they’re the opinions of a few people extrapolated to represent the opinions of very large groups of people.

I’ve met many wonderful people from New York City and other urban areas.  I’ve also met some total assholes right where I grew up, who were locals.  And it shouldn’t even have to be said in America, but we’ve got to start talking to each other and move beyond our own little cocoon of people who think just like we do or hold the same political views.

We need to start embracing getting to know people as individuals.

The same goes for considering political viewpoints and here again, my mother taught me that you can’t make anyone believe anything.  My oldest sister is 8 years older than me and she had friends in high school, who like her, read a lot.  Along with wearing hand-me-down clothes, I became a proud collector of hand-me-down books.  Anything my sister or her friends were ready to discard, I was ready to add it to my “collection” of books.  I read the entire Warren Commission Report in paperback, I got a copy of To Kill A Mockingbird.  I still have the Watchwords of Liberty, filled with great American quotes.  I also ended up with paperback histories like:

wp-1483053958016.jpg

Then somehow I ended up with:

wp-1483054003464.jpg

So, while you might expect my conservative, staunch Republican mother to want this book out of her house, you’d be wrong.  She told me she didn’t believe in Marxism, but to decide for myself.  She gave me a copy of a little booklet (which I gave to someone), called, Good Citizen and she told me this booklet had a lot of interesting information on America.  So, I read Marx’s Concept of Man and then I read her Good Citizen booklet and many other books too.

In 1976, the American Bicentennial fueled a bunch of books on the American Revolution and my American love affair with The Constitution and our republic bloomed like cherry blossoms in Washington springtime.  I was hooked on American ideals.  I had started adding to my hand-me-down book “collection” with books I bought with babysitting money – books like:

wp-1483057678139.jpg

I also got enthralled by The Kent Family Chronicles, that John Jakes series commemorating the 200 year anniversary of America.  By that point, I was sold on The Constitution, sold on American ideals and Marx sounded like depressing whining about “unfairness”, where there’s never any hope for individuals to aspire to anything… just endless reliance on imposition of command economy enforcers to decide on what’s fair and relentless fueling class warfare. The American Bicentennial fueled a life-long love of reading American history.  My short time in the Army expanded that to loving to read military history too.

In life, we all have some really dumb ideas and beliefs.   That’s the truth!  No one gets through life being perfect and all-knowing.  For instance, I abhor violence and had this idea that all behavior is learned, so when I had kids, I didn’t want my kids to be violent.  I didn’t want my sons to have any toy guns, because I believed that would encourage violence.  I believed this despite the fact that I got into plenty of fistfights as a kid fighting bullies.

My mother and sisters laughed at me and told me I was stupid.  My husband just rolled his eyes.  My toddler sons, well, they turned everything into a weapon, to include their older sister’s Barbie dolls.  They were very destructive and liked to clobber each other, while there I was telling them in this prissy voice, “you’ve got to be nice!”  My daughter didn’t take to them wrecking her stuff and she smacked them when they touched her stuff.  So much for my toy guns make boys violent belief.

When I told my mother about my sons throwing everything and turning everything into a weapon, which my daughter had never done, my mother said, “welcome to the world of boys.”

Here’s another story on “boys” from a few years later.  We were living in Germany and I was throwing a birthday party for one of my sons.  My next-door neighbor had a lot of very colorful finches in a cage and she decided to let them fly loose that day.  They were getting ready to PCS back to the states.  My daughter came running in the house to tell me that all these little boys had sticks and were trying to kill these little finches that were sitting in the bushes around the house.  So, I walked outside and there was this group of little boys, bloodlust in their eyes, gleefully trying to kill these tiny birds with big sticks.   They were barbarians!  In that moment I realized that there is something about males and violence that is probably hard-wired.  And I realized that my “be nice” idea had been idiotic all along.

What people believe can’t be forced, so it’s best to try to find that common ground, I keep blabbing on about.  Here again, I think my mother had the right idea there too – get people to sit at the same table and share a meal, insisting that everyone be polite.

Simple as it may be, perhaps just getting people to share a meal and talk might work miracles, where all the social programs have failed.  Here’s an old LB blog post from 2014:

“I’m always amazed at how when people sit down to share a meal, the petty squabbles subside, conversations almost invariably turn to family and home.  A friendly dinner table is the world’s most under-tapped peacemaking tool.  The simple act of breaking bread together at a table of brotherhood doesn’t seem all that hard and once people can come together and peacefully share a meal and conversation, then all the other politicized barriers fall to the wayside.  Community potlucks could rebuild communities and not cost taxpayers a dime.  Believe it, because it’s true and with so much animosity and hatred in America, at the very least neighbors might make new friends, so there’s no downside to the endeavor.”

https://libertybellediaries.com/2014/11/29/another-home-truth/

I also quoted my mother’s least favorite poet, Maya Angelou in that post.  I’m not a fan of Angelou’s poetry either, but she sure nailed a home truth with this quote:

“Hate, it has caused a lot of problems in the world, but has not solved one yet.”
http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/26244-hate-it-has-caused-a-lot-of-problems-in-the

Again, finding ways to heal the divides in America is an existential necessity.

Pamphlet Debates in 140 characters…

wp-1482377030052.jpg
Started another plastic canvas tissue box cover – 2 sides done and working on the 3rd side.  This one is for my friend, Marrietta, in AZ, who is an expert quilter, talented maker of beadwork jewelry, all around creative needle-worker, and the maker of fantastic potholders:wp-1475350243889.jpg

I used bolder colors than the picture with the pattern, because, unlike me, she’s not a “pink person.  I love pink, it’s one of my favorite colors.  True story – decades ago we were discussing repainting the living room walls and since my husband defers to me on decorating and because he’s color-blind, I sold him on painting the living room walls a lovely rose color.  It wasn’t bubblegum pink, but a more dignified pink color.  I told him “rose” is not “pink”.  As he painted, he kept saying, “Are you sure this isn’t pink?”  I kept a straight face and said, “NO, it’s “rose”!”  All the pictures and decorations on the walls popped with that rose color in the background and it sure beat that standard off-white color the walls were originally.  The next time we painted the walls, he insisted it was his turn to pick the color and it was back to boring – English eggshell was the name of that blah off-white color.

On to politics – the Left’s push to discredit the electoral college continues.  A big component of their talking points is that the electoral college is racist and a remnant of slavery.  Well, since The Constitution was written when slavery was legal, not only in the South, but also in the North too, abolishing slavery was not a central issue to the debates on The Constitution. Sure, there was a budding abolitionist movement in the late 1700s, but the overarching goal of the framers of The Constitution was to unite the States and create a federal framework.

I grew up in PA and as my husband always says, “They’re a bunch of Quakers!” (although my family was Lutheran/Reformed).  PA was where the first abolitionist society in America,  Society for the Relief of Free Negroes Unlawfully Held in Bondage, formed in 1775.  It was founded by Quakers, in fact, Thomas Paine, one of America’s greatest “Domestic Propagandists” (to borrow President Obama’s terminology), was a founding member of the group.

William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania, was a Quaker and to get a feel for Quaker moral conscience, you can read his work, Some Fruits of Solitude.

The British colonial experience in early America was an amazing lab of real-life experiments in various governmental forms and societal orders.  Supreme Court Justice, John Marshall, who largely defined America’s Supreme Court, took on the task of writing a biography of George Washington, which resulted in a 5-volume set, titled, The Life of George Washington.  The first volume goes into finely detailed history of the explorations in government in early America.  To understand how at the end of the 1700s, Americans were forging ahead with a revolutionary new government, the history of the colonial governmental experiments will give you a broader view.  Here is a free online copy of Volume 1.

Now, on to the electoral college debate.  Since most states had legal slavery, not just Southern states, although some abolitionist sentiments were percolating in colonial America, when the founders, who had forged together The Articles of Confederation as a government framework during the American Revolution, met in 1787 to draft The Constitution of the United States, their intent was to draft an entirely new governmental framework – a constitutional federal republic.

The Articles of Confederation were felt to be in need of improvement.  One of the key failings in the articles, was the same failing of many previous mutual defense agreements between states throughout the 1700s, it did nothing to provide for a unified defense.  In many agreements between states, in previous decades, requests by one state for militias from another state to assist in military defense needs, were ignored, tardy or insufficient to repel attacks. States often didn’t live up to their pledged defense agreements.  The early American frontier was a battle front, with attacks from French and Indians in the north and Spanish and more Indians in the south.  The founders had just fought the Revolutionary War, so the intent of drafting The Constitution was to create a stronger union and a national defense structure.

How the framers of The Constitution sold their revolutionary new governmental framework was through Pamphlet Debates, which were a common form of political debate in colonial times.  The most famous pamphlet debates on The Constitution are called The Federalist Papers, where three writers, John Jay, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison, using pen names, energetically set forth to sell America on The Constitution they were writing.  Other Americans argued mightily against their radical new form of government, some in its entirety, and some only argued against certain aspects of it.

In today’s factionalized America, President Obama referred to people supporting the electoral college online as “Domestic Propagandists”, using a tone you’d expect to be reserved for calling people “domestic terrorists”. Online, anytime anyone posts an opposing viewpoint or makes mincemeat of an opposing viewpoint, the person is labeled a “troll”.  It’s time for more people to make their case, in a vigorous national debate, if they want to amend The Constitution.  Some flim-flam, spin-cycle media blitz in a hyped “crisis” mode won’t work for the Dems, who are pushing this only to delegitimize Trump’s winning the presidency.

The electoral college was designed to promote states sovereignty and afford proportional representation among states, so that less populated states would not be marginalized by more populous states.  This idea that the founders were all enthused about “popular votes” is nonsense, since some states only allowed land-owners to vote.  Slaves were used only to pad the census numbers to give southern states more power and women were not allowed to vote at all. The idea to promote states soverignty, the concept of federalism,  is encapsulated in the 10th Amendment to The Constitution:

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/tenth_amendment

Conservative Review put out a Twitter video called, “You Do You”, which in an entertaining manner explains federalism:

The thing about America, that should hearten all Americans, is we live in a country where we are free to have opposing views.  We are free to criticize our government and elected officials, without fear of reprisals too.

So, if the Left wants to abolish the electoral college, let the free, open, spirited debate begin.

Decided to update this post with a link to an October LB post: America: Our Ordered Liberty Roots, in which I mentioned British charters:

To understand America’s founding, it’s important to look at who the first settlers in America were and how the American colonies were set-up and developed. Originally the British colonies, who later broke off from England and the British crown, operated under proprietary colonies, royal charters, or charters:

“A charter is a document that gave colonies the legal rights to exist. A charter is a document, bestowing certain rights on a town, city, university or an institution. Colonial Charters were empowered when the king gave a grant of exclusive powers for the governance of land to proprietors or a settlement company. The charters defined the relationship of the colony to the mother country, free from involvement from the Crown. For the trading companies, charters vested the powers of government in the company in England. The officers would determine the administration, laws, and ordinances for the colony, but only as conforming to the laws of England. Proprietary charters gave governing authority to the proprietor, who determined the form of government, chose the officers, and made laws, subject to the advice and consent of the freemen. All colonial charters guaranteed to the colonists the vague rights and privileges of Englishmen, which would later cause trouble during the revolutionary era. In the second half of the seventeenth century, the Crown looked upon charters as obstacles to colonial control, substituting the royal province for corporations and proprietary governments.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonial_charters_in_the_Thirteen_Colonies

The American colonies, in essence,  were business ventures, set-up to operate under a British legal structure, but the charter-holder had control of appointing whom would administer the law within the colony.  In some colonies, the crown directly appointed an administrator for the colony.  The colonial administrators varied widely in leadership ability, legal knowledge, experience and also administrative talent. However, the actual American settlers who embarked on setting up the colonies (business ventures) were almost exclusively Christians of various denominations and their Christian faith defined every aspect of their communities.

Stop the Insanity

wp-1481765453827.jpg

Finished the 4th side for my next tissue box cover.  I like this side the best.

With the desperate “Hillary or Bust” talking points in the past few weeks, the lame brained “do-over election” seemed to be the most bizarre, but never let an existential threat to Hillary Clinton’s  “First Female President” dream go to waste.  Look, I warned that she will do ANYTHING to become president and it sure looks like she’s got Clinton, Democratic Party, and Obama machines behind her effort to instigate a coup and overturn a legitimate election.  They will fail, because we still have The Constitution. However, in the process, after 8 years of abusing executive power, President Obama appears to be joining the “Hillary or Bust” effort by corrupting the CIA, where “unnamed” officials are floating “intelligence” with no proof.  Today there are “reports” that Putin was directly involved in managing the email hacks – no proof offered.

To show how corrupt this is, well, these unnamed sources in the CIA are leaking this information to the media, but refused to appear before the House Intelligence Committee this week and answer questions under oath about this supposedly new intel, with direct links to the Russians.   It’s a total sham the Obama administration is participating in – trying to manipulate the American people into buying into subverting The Constitution and a legitimate election.
So, I went back to tweeting and here are some from today:

There are “experts” discussing ways to fight Russian “influence operations” today and their ideas are truly frightening – banning RT from broadcasting and  policing “fake news”.

We need to fight for FREE speech, it is our strongest weapon against  foreign”influence operations”.

What to do is not rocket science:

An American people educated on and firmly grounded in respect for The Constitution of the United States of America is the best defense

Teach our children CIVIC VIRTUE in our schools, colleges and universities

Resist all the Obama administration fear-mongering about Russian influence operations. Don’t let the media feeding frenzy selling Clinton/Dem/Obama machine talking points scare you.  We are strong enough to resist “influence operations” without some new government program or censorship.  Just think for yourself, question media and partisan”facts” vociferously.  Be cheerful and fearless about standing up and defending American principles and The Constitution.

It’s simple – an America united on American principles isn’t vulnerable to foreign influence operations.

#DefendTheConstitutionAlways

Now I need to get some laundry done and finish the top to this tissue box cover.wp-1481825565837.jpg

Have a nice day and please don’t get worked up about media and Obama administration Russian “influence operation” hysteria – you have total control over your own mind and should not fear “influence operations”:-)

Trump truth in advertising (NOT)

wp-1479137936796.jpgMade a few more bookmarks this morning to calm my spirit, lol.

Well, for all those who believed Trump really meant “Crooked Hillary” and “Lock Her Up”, here’s the wake-up call that Trump just cut one of his “great” deals with the Clinton/Obama/Dem machines:

The Chicago Sun Times reports that Donald Trump has once again suggested there will be no special prosecutor for Hillary Clinton, calling her and Bill Clinton “good people”:

Trump back-pedaled on his promise to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton over her emails. “I’m going to think about it,” Trump said.

“. . . She did some bad things, I mean she did some bad things,” Trump said, prompting Stahl to ask, “I know, but a special prosecutor? You think you might . . .

To which Trump replied, making a reference to Bill and Hillary Clinton, “I don’t want to hurt them, I don’t want to hurt them. They’re, they’re good people. I don’t want to hurt them. And I will give you a very, very good and definitive answer the next time we do 60 Minutes together.”

http://www.redstate.com/patterico/2016/11/14/trump-special-prosecutor-hillary-clintons-good-people-video/

Trump might even be seen golfing with his good friend, Bill Clinton, of the “good people” crowd soon…

For Trump supporters and followers: Trump duped you, but I feel certain this “deal” is only a small taste of how much you’ve been had.

I believe in The Constitution, so will remain hopeful that The Constitution sees us through the next four years, as faithfully as it has since 1787.

Clinton Corruption Update

The previous post shows the social media corruption, but here’s something else I noticed happening. The “popular” vote count for Hillary keeps growing massively. Hard to tell what the facts are, with Soros and the Dems colluding with the liberal media to SPIN(LIE) and sell “narratives”(FABRICATED STORIES), where there were reports swirling that Soros bought a company that owns voting machines in 16 states.

I suspect this inflating “popular vote”is another Clinton/Obama/Democratic Party corrupt gambit to try and overthrow the election, even though they aren’t openly saying that is their intent.  Looks to me like more setting the stage for a challenge to the Electoral College, to stop Trump (and the FBI, which, I believe,  is still investigating the Clinton corruption).

This “popular vote” hype is being bolstered by calls that the Electoral College MUST be eliminated. Many in the liberal media are spewing this nonsense too. Here’s Eric Holder:

“Former Attorney General Eric Holder called for an end to the electoral college voting system on Friday.

With Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton winning the popular vote but losing the election, he said it was now time to change the way the U.S. elects its presidents.

“I’m in the process now of writing an article that says there’s a simple solution to it and we have to just abolish the electoral college,” Holder told “Real Time” host Bill Maher.”

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/eric-holder-bill-maher-electoral-college_us_5826c8fee4b02d21bbc8eb31

The Dems are trying to stage another attempt to get Hillary elected instead of abiding by The Constitution, is what I believe their SPIN is all about. By creating this illusion that most of the country is overwrought and does not want Trump as president, they are promoting alternative ways around The Constitution – trying to pressure electors to vote against Trump when the Electoral College votes.  Another desperate gambit for the Democratic Party machine to retain control of the executive branch.

Here’s a clue to these corrupt thugs: The Electoral College can only be abolished by Congress and the process is laid out in The Constitution for making amendments.

Short of abolishing the Electoral College, the only option that I am aware of is for Congress to impeach Donald Trump and herein, I am not sure if he could even be impeached before being sworn into office and after he was sworn in, well, there’s a whole process for impeachment…. as the Clintons are well aware of.  Donald Trump would have to do something to justify impeachment.  For instance, in President Bill Clinton articles of impeachment,  the House voted that President Clinton had lied under oath to a grand jury and obstructed justice. There were originally four articles passed by the Judiciary Committee.  The Senate voted not to remove President Clinton from office on partisan lines, with a handful of liberal-leaning Republicans siding with the Democrats.  Impeachment, being a political remedy, really didn’t speak to whether President Clinton was really guilty of these charges, imo.

And by watching another 17 years of the Clintons political corruption, I think it will be proven that they did that and much worse to silence witnesses and retain power.  Guess, that makes me a “hater” and part of the omnipresent, vast, right-wing conspiracy out to get Hillary Clinton, America’s #1 VICTIM.

We abide by The Constitution for a reason – it is the rule of law here in America and it keeps us a FREE, constitutional republic, not a banana republic or ClintonWorld (where the whims of Bill and Hillary Clinton reign supreme).

What I think about the election

Donald Trump was elected President of the United States on Tuesday and as an American citizen, who believes in The Constitution of the United States, I accept that as the final verdict.  This is how our republic works, end of conversation.  I don’t believe he or Hillary are “fit” to be President, but the constitutional requirements are sparse, so beyond age and citizenship, that position is open to any Americans:

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

ARTICLE II, SECTION 1, CLAUSE

http://www.heritage.org/constitution/#!/articles/2/essays/82/presidential-eligibility

What I feel about either Trump or Hillary doesn’t matter in the least – I abide by The Constitution, because I believe in the rule of law and protecting and defending The Constitution.

In 1998, being fairly new to the internet, I started searching the web thinking I would like to find pen pals around the world, because I had several pen pals in foreign countries when I was a teenager.  During that searching I came across “message boards” and landed on the Excite message boards, where beyond the people trying to hook-up with others in relationships, they had the politics boards.  Following politics is another interest of mine, so I began commenting on politics there, using the name: mhere.

When the Clinton impeachment scandal broke, those boards went crazy and since I had spent a good bit of time lurking, just reading postings, before venturing into posting any comments, I was familiar with many of the regulars posting there.  Some of them liked to change their user names, but it quickly became obvious who they were, because of their writing style and comments.

When the impeachment scandal broke, a new crowd invaded the Excite politics message board – the Clintonista mob, who viciously attacked anyone who spoke out about The Constitution or impeachment.  I quickly noticed that the writing ability of this new crowd was much better than most of the Regulars and these people debated like top-notch criminal defense attorneys, trying to argue the Regulars into a corner and silence them.

That bullying tactic, trying to silence other people,  ticked me off, so I decided to argue to the best of my ability and back them into a corner.  I have always liked to debate politics.  As the weeks went by, it seemed like new people joined the Clintonista mob, determined to silence me (mhere).  I also noticed that some of my arguments and snarky lines began to be picked up by some real Republican and conservative pundits on TV.

What happened next is my story, tabbed at the top of my home page, Messages of mhere.  I apologize to regular readers for rehashing this again, but since I am not FREE to move on, alas, I must continue to repeat all this.  I wrote my story in that annoying third person, I used pseudonyms out of fear, and I wrote it in my snarky manner, because that’s me.  The story is true, the pseudonyms are real people.

At the top of my home page, I have a tab “Confessions of mhere” with a timeline from about May of this year, but it goes back to other events that have happened.

In March, at National Review Online’s comment section, which was still Disqus then (they changed to facebook).  I was debating against Trump and his idiotic killing ISIS family members to scare ISIS terrorists, as a good military strategy.  I posted a response to another poster about The Constitution and I was told to “SURRENDER NOW, Sue!  It’s the only possible outcome…”:

“susanholly Angry MFing Texan • 3 days ago
I understand the anger, but raging mobs never solve anything – we need to unite our country, not divide into enemy factions and burn it to the ground. Please read President George Washington’s Farewell Address. He warned about the danger to our republic from extreme factions.
Maya Angelou, my late mother’s least-liked American poet, said it best:
“Hate, it has caused a lot of problems in the world, but it has not solved a one.”
See, sometimes even poets you don’t like say something worth quoting:-)

This comment has bothered me for hours – was this a threat? Who am supposed to surrender to? I am a law-abiding, private citizen. I’ve never owned a firearm in my life and in fact, I don’t even have a speeding ticket. So, who am I supposed to SURRENDER NOW to? This is a friendly online chat, so what exactly did you mean?”

So, I am going to state upfront that I believe my computer has been tracked since 1998, from when I was attacked in my home in 1998, by a retired general.  Since I was only commenting on the Excite message boards and am a homemaker: who was only talking to close family and friends, who does not belong to any political groups, the only possible thing that could have led to him attacking me was the Excite message boards.  That general was a Bill Clinton general, who had retired suddenly, not long before the impeachment mess.  From what my husband had heard through the rumor mill at work ( he was still an active duty sergeant major at a large infantry post), imo Bill Clinton and this general have a lot in common with their personal conduct.  That general also hates my guts.  I believe, some letters I wrote during Desert Storm ended up at the Department of the Army and reflected poorly on his wife, who ran the family support activities during Desert Storm.

I barely escaped being locked away in a state mental hospital permanently in early 1999.  Since 1999, I have been determined to expose what happened to me.  Since starting my blog in late 2012, I decided to use my blog to write about not only politics, but to tell my story about what happened to me and to explain who I am and what I believe.  Texas state judge, Albert McCaig, Jr. (Buddy) recommended I start a blog.  His nephew is married to my youngest daughter and he performed the wedding ceremony in Texas.   In 2010, he started a blog, which I found out about on facebook, through family mentioning it.  I posted a few comments there.  Then out of the blue in 2012 Buddy emailed me discussing  a Ralph Peters article.  At that time I was writing comments on Ralph Peters’ NY Post column looking for a way to tell my story.  I had also given my attorney all the information about my story by that point and I didn’t think he believed me, which I told him in an email and I gave him the passwords to my facebook and hotmail accounts.  I started writing more details in my hotmail draft folders, just in case he decided to listen to me.

Since, I believe the Clinton thugs, still monitor my computer, I told my attorney and Buddy whom might be able to help and also suggested they find people they trust to help.  I told them watching how the SPIN cycle and character assassinations operate, it takes a lot of media collusion, so monitor who is contacting whom.  I told them to follow the law and get the proper law enforcement people involved in following my computer and who attacks it, then following back to who they are contacting.  I had set up a Penzu journal, which has military-grade encryption and I gave Buddy the password to that and told him to contact my attorney.  Since I believe the Clinton thugs still monitor my computer and have tagged me a terrorist and “threat” (Buddy advised me that I am on several watch lists – even though I don’t have so much as a speeding ticket), they too know everything I do online and also have access to my Penzu journals.  So, I’ve had to make my plans to expose them, knowing they are reading all my plans – quite a strategic challenge to hope to win against those odds, right?

I believe Buddy was contacted after Ralph Peters was convinced I was a threat.  Through Ralph Peters, they located Buddy and Kinnision, two old Army buddies of Ralph to assist. For almost a year, in 2012, Buddy kept emailing me links to news articles and I responded with comments.  I chatted more, but his comments were very sparse.  He got to know me.  I told him about what had happened to me in 1998 shortly after I started blogging, when I came up with an idea of how to use my blog to expose my story.  My only contact with Buddy or my attorney has been online, on the computer that they are monitoring since 1998.

Since I kept writing comments in my notepad for years that I am not giving up and am going to expose what they did to me in 1998, they can’t afford to let that happen.

They recruited a retired Army general in 1998 to attack an enlisted soldier’s spouse, all to silence her over her comments posted on a freakin’ online politics message board.

The great irony was I was writing such dangerous comments as “No One Is Above The Law” and “The Constitution applies to EVERYONE.” and “Lying under oath is a CRIME.”

I told my attorney and Buddy to build a RICO case against them, which takes a lot of time and a lot of legwork.  So, here we are, where I was being told “SURRENDER NOW, Sue!  It’s the only possible outcome…” for writing about following the law again…  That’s subversive somehow???   Who in the hell I am supposed to SURRENDER to, I am not sure.  However if it’s this criminal enterprise, that would be surrendering to the enemy, because I am an innocent American citizen, who has been followed and monitored by these thugs, who have abused their power since 1998 and I refuse to SURRENDER my liberty to them!

Since I didn’t know for a long time if I could trust Buddy, at times I have panicked, worrying about how to keep my family safe, especially my disabled husband, who would trust that retired general without question, because that general was my husband’s brigade commander during Desert Storm.  I sent an email to my youngest sister in PA a few years ago, telling her that I really was attacked during 1998 and I gave her my blog link. She never has mentioned my blog again, so I assume they sent someone to warn her I am a deranged  terrorist or something.  My four children call her to report on me.  I have told my children about my blog and I mentioned that in my Penzu journals each time.  My children never said a word to me about my blog afterwards, but they quiz me on my views and mention often they have just talked to my youngest sister.

So Buddy and my attorney and those aiding are tracking those who are accessing my Penzu journal, back to who is in charge of this.  I told Buddy and my attorney, a two-star JAG general that no matter what, follow the law and whomever they bring on board to assist must follow the law too.

I feel certain that most of the people they are lying to in the US government and US Armed Forces believe they are really tracking a dangerous terrorist, because a lot of effort has gone into silencing me.

I assume things are escalating in their efforts to silence me, since on Tuesday night, my best friend from high school, whom I hear from occasionally, called to see who I voted for, all of my kids keep asking me how I feel about the election, I had that discussion with my son on Sunday about “It’s Legal, where he quizzed me on my views on torture too, which seemed bizarre.  (I don’t support use of torture and think it’s counter-productive, for what it’s worth).  And last night that son made a trip down here ( an hour) on a weeknight to check on me and quiz me some more on how I feel about the election and if I’m okay with it.  Of course, I just got done with my Twitter storm too;-)

With so much interest in who I voted for – I left the top of my ballot blank.  I was happy to vote for Senator Isakson and my Representative, Buddy Carter.  I wrote to my sister, Wendy, yesterday, and since nothing in my life is private, here is that email (sent at 6:17 am), which I am sure she has reported.  I am redacting a few names, out of consideration of their privacy:

Hi Wendy,

Sorry for not responding to your email.  I kept intending to write and then didn’t get to it.  I thought you had gotten your old living room furniture at a Haverty’s.    I thought that , if I remember correctly, because I thought it was you who recommended them, when we bought living room furniture here in the early 90s.  You mentioned the cat peeing on the furniture, well some of these dogs are hard on the furniture too – harder than the kids were truthfully, because the kids didn’t chew holes in the furniture and I didn’t let them eat in the living room.   Lucy, a small terrier mutt stray that I brought home years ago likes to nibble on the corners of throw pillow and she also nibbled a hole in the corner of one middle couch cushion at the back, where she likes to lay.  I had gotten those quilted pet slipcovers for the sofa and loveseat, which helps to keep her away from the actual furniture cushions, but she’s chewed a lot of holes in these quilted slipcovers too.

These dogs make such a mess with the shedding and a couple of them pee on the carpet all the time.  In fact, I need to steam clean the carpet in the living room and the computer room real soon – it’s getting bad with spots again.

I don’t know if I thanked you for the cookbook from the church in Kunkletown.  I appreciate it a a lot.  The cover has a very nice picture of the church on it.  I always thought the early settlers there used good sense to perch the church on the hill rather than in town, because it’s stands out there and is very picturesque. BLANK told me the old houses in Kunkletown are looking very run-down and he said you told him the younger people don’t take care of them.  I was attached to the house in Kunkletown and I loved the old maple trees in the front yard, but BLANK had those removed.  I wonder if the lilac bushes are still there, where we had one on our side of the backyard next to a forsythia bush and Mammy had a larger one closer to BLANK and BLANK’S house.

I’m like Pop and very attached to trees that I planted.  We lost a large piece on the willow tree from that hurricane and it blew most of the leaves off that tree.  The other trees withstood the wind and kept their leaves, but not that willow tree.  Tom took the optimistic view and said, “Oh well, it will get new leaves in the spring.”  That’s true, but that tree gets leaves very late in the spring, because I’m always looking at it in the spring and waiting.  A very small live oak in the front yard has gotten really big and so has a red maple, which was really like a bare stick when I planted it back in the 90s.  I got that when the new  YMCA building opened here and some conservation group had a stand giving out free bare root trees.  That maple tree was about a foot and half long stick with a few roots in it.  It’s now taller than the house.  The live oak is almost that tall too.  I really like live oaks trees, because they stay green all year long.

You had mentioned old bottles and of course, being a hoarder, I would love to have them, but I can’t afford to send you postage to mail them and I don’t want you wasting the money.   Perhaps BLANK, BLANK or BLANK might want them.  I have mine in the garage, because they are too much to dust all the time and I intended to buy a glass cabinet to display them, but never did.  At this point I have too many books and other stuff, that I don’t have any room for a cabinet, unless I get rid of something else.   I need to get rid of a lot of stuff – all the closets are full and I have stuff stacked in my sewing room, because there’s not enough room in there for all that junk.  It’s hard for me to part with sewing and craft stuff, but at least I have stopped buying any more since I quit working.  Now the trick it to become more productive and use more of that stuff.

BLANK called me last night.  She writes to me every once in a while and I write back when I get to it.  She had an email account, but doesn’t like going on the computer, so she stopped emailing me and mails letters now.  This probably sounds weird, coming from me the queen of letter-writing and pen pals, but I really don’t like writing letters with pen and paper anymore.  I love the convenience and spell check with email, plus it’s free and fast to send emails, plus you can include links and attachments (although I have a hard time doing attachments).  I wish BLANK would get back to emailing, because it’s much easier.  I rarely buy stamps these days and I try to do as much online as possible – especially paying bills and shopping.  She called to ask who I voted for.  I didn’t vote for either one for president and just voted down ballot.  We had a Senator and a Congressman running for re-election, both Republicans, so I had to vote for them.  I like our Congressman, Buddy Carter, from what I have seen of him in Congressional hearings – he’s very humble and down-to-earth and doesn’t pretend to be an “expert”.  I told BLANK, he asks good questions in the House oversight committee hearings, which considering he’s not a lawyer surprised me and he remains very courteous too.  Trump should hire a Southern gentleman or talk to Buddy Carter to teach him manners.  Everyone likes to make fun of southerners, but the rest of the country could learn something from the traditional manners down here and Trump would be less of a national embarrassment if he cultivated the manners of Southern gentleman.  I am proud to have Buddy Carter representing me.  BLANK said she and BLANK voted for Trump.  I just couldn’t bring myself to do that.  BLANK chatted a little but, it seemed very odd that she would call out of the blue just to ask who I voted for.

BLANK is into all that living like the Amish stuff (not the morals & religion part, lol), but with his using horses for logging with his sawmill.   I told BLANK I was going to read my book last night and not watch the election returns.  I mentioned the book to her, because of BLANK’S interest in the old-fashioned stuff.  The book is Young Pioneers by Rose Wilder Lane, who was the real life daughter of Laura Ingalls Wilder and she actually edited (highly edited) her mother’s stories to get them ready to be published.  Rose Wilder Lane was a famous journalist  & writer in the early 1900s.  This Young Pioneers is a fictional novel based on Charles and Caroline Ingalls, Lane’s grandparents. move to the Dakota territory.   I told BLANK about this “cooling drink” of water, molasses and vinegar,  that was mentioned several times in this novel.  It sounds hideous to me, but BLANK told me BLANK drinks that sometimes, so I guess the Amish must drink that too.  I googled it and it’s called Switchel.  Sometimes ginger is added to it too.  There’s actually science to drinking that as a “cooling” drink, because the molasses is high in potassium and replaces electrolytes and the vinegar gave it a sweet and sour taste.  I’ll pass on trying that, but here’s a very interesting article from The Smithsonian magazine I found on this:

http://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/switchel-drinking-vinegar-to-stay-cool-98891755/?no-ist

Well, I’ve rambled on enough.  Saw the news that Trump won when I got up … omg, we’re in for some amazing times and the dumbing down of America is complete when our choices are Trump or Hillary.  Let’s hope Kellyanne stays nearby to keep him from mean tweeting other world leaders…😊

Take care.

Love,

Sue

I would love nothing better than to move on too, but since I believe I am being held a virtual captive and due to these circumstances, I can’t.  I will never  “SURRENDER NOW, Sue” to tyranny – it ain’t happening!

If I ever can expose them, I want America to decide who is the “terrorist”, but considering with these subversives, they even wrote a narrative where Bowe Bergdahl “served with honor and distinction”, I feel certain we’re in for a lot more Redefining America.

SEVENTEEN years of this crap from these people and yeah, I would sure love to be FREE again in America and move on too.

I will continue to work to expose the WHOLESALE PUBLIC CORRUPTION of  the Clinton machine!

Libertybelle: Tin foil Hat Homemaker

Both of my sons know a lot about the law and The Constitution.  One son is very good at foreign languages and understands intricacies of foreign policy, while the other is a science (especially quantum physics) and math geek.  I am just a homemaker.  This isn’t going to be a whinefest, just statements of what I believe to be the reality, so bear with me. In America, unless you have fancy titles or can lay claim to being some sort of an “expert”, your opinions and comments are considered not worth listening to.  Even my sons are like that.  So, when it comes to who they will believe, even if it’s me vs. “important” people with titles or military rank, I suspect they would believe the people with fancy titles or military rank.

When I joined the US Army in 1979, I had already gone to college one year and my parents struggled to pay my tuition and expenses that year. I took out a student loan to help pay for my second semester. My year at college was disastrous, both academically and romantically. Broken-hearted on both counts, I decided I didn’t want to go back the next year, so despite my parents pleading, I refused.

During the summer of 1979, one day, and after weeks of trying to figure out what I wanted to do, I called an Army recruiter.  So, I went ahead and signed my enlistment paperwork without discussing it with anyone.  When I told my parents, they were overwrought and horrified, because I was a girl.  My mother was sobbing, but my father asked me if I had already signed the paperwork.  When I told him I had, he seemed resigned and he said, “You gave your word, so you’ll have to keep it.”

The Army was the best thing ever to happen to me, in many ways.  Like many females, I did not complete my first enlistment, due to marriage and having a baby.  The decision to get out of the Army took me months to make. I may have joined the Army capriciously, but I left the Army, after months of agonizing and feeling torn by two duties – my duty as a soldier vs my duty as a mother, knowing that that little bit of Army training taught me important life lessons, like the importance of putting mission above self, like the importance of duty, like the importance of accountability, like the importance of living by the US Military Code of Conduct and Army Values.

My husband had just been promoted to E-6, he was a very dedicated solider, NCO of the year for our brigade, inductee into the Sgt. Morales Club, 82nd paratrooper. He wanted me to get out and he kept telling me that he could provide for us.  Since we were stationed in Germany, his big concern was that if something happened and we deployed, what would happen to our baby.  He knew lots more about the Army than I did, so he explained that if something happened, family members could be evacuated back to the States, under a NEO evacuation.  He told me that if that happened, we would have to hand our baby over to someone else to take back to the States, because we were both deploying.  He told me he didn’t want to hand our baby over to other people and he told me that he would rather go fight and have me safe in the States.  He told me he would work hard to provide for us.

I did sign my chapter paperwork with just two weeks left before the deadline date, because by Army rules, you had to decide before you were 7 months pregnant. So, I signed my paperwork, then had to fly to the States to out process, but I got a passport and turned right around and flew back to my husband in Germany.  So, while I got out of the Army, by waiting so long to decide, I had put myself into another bad situation – I was now not a command-sponsored family member and thus, technically the Army had no responsibility to evacuate me in case of a NEO evacuation.  My husband and I talked about that several times and I spent time looking at maps of Europe and trying to figure out what I would do, if that happened.  My husband was sure the Army would still look after me, because I was an American and an Army wife.  Nothing did happen, but that experience of making one decision without knowing all the ramifications made me into a person who prefers contingency planning.

So, that is how I came to decide to be a homemaker.  I loved the Army and I missed it, but I have no regrets about choosing to put taking care of my children first, while my husband continued his Army career – he was a better asset to the Army than I was.  He was a very good infantryman.  The Army needs very good warfighters more than it needs Army journalists.

All this personal bio plays into the larger issue I want to get to:

What is the Law?

“Comey said” that Hillary did not commit any crimes, so her actions were “legal“. My one son, with the same conviction as someone like Congressman Cummings, repeated this “Comey said” argument during a discussion Sunday. The discussion became more like an argument and I suspect my son believes Hillary has bad judgment, but because she has held important positions and is a lawyer, she knows a lot.  He believes that because Comey said “not criminal” that means the FACTS are now irrelevant and don’t matter.

In our discussion, this “expert” belief came into it when my son mentioned General Petraeus, whom I do NOT respect and whom I believe got away easy for the crimes he knowingly committed.  I don’t really care about his military record or his chestful of medals.  I don’t care if he’s a military strategic genius or one of the “greatest” generals of his generation.

To me he grossly mishandled highly sensitive information, that could have jeopardized American lives in the field – end of conversation.  He lied to try and cover up.  For me, when people do this, I no longer trust them and I believe they are a security risk to the United States of America.

I don’t really care that he had Clinton lawyer, David Kendall, work out a plea agreement, so he got off on way lesser charges. The actual FACTS, which aren’t disputed, are he handed over his black books and other classified information to his mistress/biographer, to aid her in writing his biography. Petraeus supporters hype that his mistress, a US Army trained intelligence officer, had a security clearance, as a point to exonerate General Petraeus.

Here are the FACTS on her having a security clearance. A security clearance is a privilege given to people, entrusting them to handle our nation’s sensitive national security information. The clearance allows access to sensitive information to carry our your official duties. The clearance is not for personal, partisan-political, random curiosity or any other purposes.  It is NOT for writing a book.  She was a trained intelligence officer, who had classified information, that was not secured in her home, but she also had hundreds of classified documents on her home computer unsecured.  So, her having a security clearance and being a trained intelligence officer actually makes her actions worse, in my opinion, for the same reason General Petraues’ actions make me have no interest in listening to anything he has to say, they should have known better.  General Petraeus and his mistress  put personal interest above the safety of soldiers in the field, by such “extremely careless” handling of highly sensitive information. Here are some of the FACTS  reported from the FBI affidavit:

“FBI agents found hundreds of classified documents on Paula Broadwell’s home computers in Charlotte during their investigation into her relationship with then-CIA Director David Petraeus, according to newly unsealed FBI documents obtained by the Observer.

More than 300 of those documents were classified as secret, according to a 2013 FBI affidavit accompanying the agency’s request to search Petraeus’ Arlington, Va., home.”

And this: “The affidavit is signed by a Charlotte-based FBI agent. Its allegations include:

“The documents show that when confronted by the FBI, both Broadwell and Petraeus appeared to mislead investigators about their extensive exchange of classified material, most of it involving military and diplomatic operations during Petraeus’ years as commander of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan”

And this: “The FBI gathered recordings Petraeus made as military commander in the Middle East in which he discussed information classified as “Top Secret” with reporters.

In an audio file taken from Broadwell’s home in November 2012, Petraeus can be heard discussing “sensitive military campaigns and operations” with reporters from the Washington Post. His only demand was to be referred to in the subsequent stories “as a senior military officer,” the affidavit says.”

And this: “Petraeus tried to stop the FBI investigation as soon as he heard about it. According to the affidavit, the FBI began its probe in Tampa, Fla., after a person identified as “Witness 1,” who is clearly Tampa socialite and Petraeus confidante Jill Kelly, complained of receiving threatening emails from someone who had access to the CIA director’s schedule – a potential breach of security.”

And this: Broadwell, a married mother of two, and Petraeus, also married, took steps to hide their correspondences. The affidavit says the two used pre-paid cellphones and email accounts “using non-attributable names.”

So, back to my discussion with my son.  He was so adamant about The Law, that he told me the national security information is the President’s information and he can do anything he wants with it – that’s The Law.  He told me all the things the President can do and when I pointed out the information is not the president’s personally, but that the President is entrusted, as part of the President’s DUTIES,  to handle our nation’s secrets , my son kept telling me, “It’s his information, he owns it and can do anything he wants with it.”

My son said that “legally” the President could turn over every bit of classified information to our country’s enemies and there’s nothing anyone can do about it  – it’s “legal”.

I tried to explain that The Law loses all meaning if it loses all connection to our foundational principles.  I tried to explain natural law and that The Law  must be girded by principles or it loses all meaning.  My son cut me off and said, “It’s legal and don’t go there.”

He told me the Declaration of Independence isn’t The Law.

I tried to explain it to him again, that it is the foundation of principles upon which  The Law stands. Without those principles, The Law is just a piece of meaningless paper – it becomes edicts imposed by RULERS.  Again, he dismissed that and repeated,  “The President can do anything he wants with national security information, he owns it, it’s HIS!”

My son also made a little tin foil hat and put it on my head, when I told him, that I believe, we are headed toward a constitutional crisis, because despite what “Comey said”.  Hillary’s emails weren’t just “a mistake”, she and the Obama administration, being part of these email (((CHAINS))) the FBI Notes discuss,  deliberately jeopardized national security.

Top secret SAP information discussed via personal email and all the actions to obstruct justice, cover-up and lie, lie, lie can’t be ignored.

Too many American lives in the field serving America, demands accountability for this deliberately negligent handling of national security information.  According to the FBI Notes, there’s an email from a CHAIN between President Obama (using his gmail account) and Hillary Clinton too.  The President signed

Executive Order 13526- Classified National Security Information.

Hillary distributed those guidelines and reminders to State Department staff on proper handling of national security information.  They both put their names to the proper way to protect national security information, then grossly violated their own guidelines.  That goes to “intent”.  Intent doesn’t have to be nefarious, in the sense of doing it to harm America.  Intent can mean you ignored the law for your personal interests (like Petraeus and his mistress for his biography) or convenience (as in private email was easier to use or it was easier than carrying two devices).

I tried to tell my son that the President swears an oath:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

If the The Law allows the President to engage in actions that totally violate his oath and the national security of the United States, what on earth does “it’s legal” mean?  The President, Dems and media keep hyping, “Comey said, nothing criminal”, which they spin as she’s innocent.  Well, here we come to the question of “justice”.   The FBI notes indicate serious crimes were committed by Hillary Clinton, many of her cronies and people in those CHAINS.  The Constitution allows the President power to pardon all of them.

So, we are at a point where one political party can do anything, or as my son said, “It’s his information!  He could give all of it to our enemies and there’s nothing anyone could do! It’s LEGAL!”

The American people, most of whom don’t follow the news and are easily swayed by mainstream media news (Clinton colluders), pundits, celebrities and SPIN, are voting today.  I don’t think it matters either way which one of these two UNFIT candidates gets elected.   I feel certain, Trump would get impeached quickly.  I feel certain that Hillary would be blackmailed by America’s enemies relentlessly and exposed by leaks of highly sensitive information our enemies have, which SHE jeopardized by her “extremely careless” handling of highly classified information.

I think my son would believe  Hillary Clinton or General Petraeus over me if it ever came to who to believe.  They are important people with titles and I am just a homemaker, who was locked up for 18 days in a mental facility during impeachment & labeled bipolar – after being attacked for a few months in my home in the FALL of 1998.

Even though I told the truth, I have no credibility within my own family, because it was deliberately destroyed in 1998.

They have credibility and clout, no matter how much they lie.

I love my son, no matter what, and I’m working hard in my life on learning to forgive people and turn the other cheek.

I think about “Justice” a lot.  I told my son that I am keeping that tin foil hat.  Unlike Hillary Clinton or President Obama, I do believe in following the law and The Constitution. I would never support overthrowing the government, violence or any other subversive actions.  However, I fully support working hard to expose the truth.  And unto that end I will continue to peacefully work – Obeying the law every step of the way.

TRUTH is the most powerful weapon in the world.

Constitutional Crisis on the Horizon

The liberal media- CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, Washington Post and many others are in full-blown CORRUPT MEDIA COLLUSION to take Hillary’s email scandal off the front page and make the story about “Trump is a bully”, “Trump is a loose cannon”, “Trump is a rapist”…. anything but Hillary’s emails scandal.

FOX News broke an amazing story last night that the FBI is 99% sure that at least FIVE foreign intelligence agencies have information from Hillary’s server.  Now, in July, the FBI had Hillary’s server, some of her electronic devices, Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson’s laptops, but their forensics did not show the server had been hacked or that classified information was compromised.  The only thing different now is the FBI has the Weiner/Abedin laptop with Huma’s mother lode.   So, with that big news, today the liberal media is doing everything they can to avoid talking about and watching Twitter today, it sure looks like Twitter is suppressing FOX News’ twitter feed.  It looks like a deliberate effort to SPIN for the Clinton Scorched Earth.

Hillary’ server goes to way more than white-collar crime or bad judgement – it goes to seriously compromising national security, but the majority of the liberal media and some social media sites are working to suppress this story from even being reported.  That’s the TRUTH and that is why I have been railing about this INFORMATION WARFARE since 1998 – it is a real threat and antithetical to American Free Speech.  The Clinton/Obama/Dem machines have so much sway with the liberal media that they can control  and even suppress the NEWS in America.  Again:

“That strategy is a sophisticated INFORMATION WARFARE strategy introduced into American politics by the Clinton political operatives.

The mass media saturation strategy was developed by far-left Alinskyite Marxists.  The messaging wall required for mass media saturation to succeed requires the active collusion of the mass media NEWS outlets to facilitate it, by actively and relentlessly repeating the messages of the political candidate or activists using this “buzz word, catchphrase spin (talking points messaging). Mass media saturation INFORMATION WARFARE requires mass media collusion to succeed.  This strategy can NOT succeed without mass media messaging dominance to CONTROL (“win”) the 24/7 news cycle (or as the Clinton team dubbed it – the spin cycle).

It is a form of mass media brainwashing and antithetical to American free speech principles!  To succeed this strategy requires MEDIA COLLUSION.

It can NOT work without that media collusion.

Here are the components:

  • Talking points and buzz word messaging, which are relentlessly repeated by both political operatives and the media.
  • Mass media domination of the messaging, to control the 24/7 NEWS cycle, which requires mass media collusion.
  • Relentless repetition of polling data by both the political operatives and media, to facilitate the manufacture of opinion cascades (winning in all the polls)

Only Democrats had successfully used this strategy before Trump, because the liberal media never before gave BILLIONS of dollars in free media for one GOP candidate, to run a “GOP Insurgency” for 8 months straight on all three cable news networks nor did the mass media cable networks ever collude or facilitate in the mass media messaging for any Republican candidate or cause.

Just as the Wikileaks leak has exposed the MEDIA COLLUSION between the DNC and the media to rig the system against Sanders, that SAME media collusion exists between the Potemkin Trump campaign (or the Clinton operatives who were in the shadows masterminding this charade) and the media.

Those electronic trails exist!!!

This mass media saturation requires constant messaging coordination between political operatives and the media facilitators to keep the SPIN cycle moving. Trump’s “win, win, win” is exactly like Carville’s “sex, sex, sex” during impeachment. I feel sure Trump’s MEDIA COLLUSION will be exposed before November.”

https://libertybellediaries.com/2016/07/30/the-pieces-of-the-media-messaging-puzzle/

The media is hyping non-stop polling data now and because there’s a presidential election days away, America is entrenched and the partisan blinders have many Americans totally fixated on Trump or Hillary.  This national security scandal isn’t going away, no matter who wins next week – it’s too grave.  Trump’s corruption, while not Clinton level yet, is huge.  His ghosts doom a Trump presidency too.  Trump WAS using the Clinton information warfare and I remain convinced his entire GOP Insurgency was a Bill Clinton dirty trick carried off with the media elite, Friends of Bill, in the media.  I hope both Trump’s and Hillary’s corruption is exposed, BUT Hillary’s corruption ALREADY jeopardized national security.  She is totally UNFIT to ever be commander-in-chief of the US Armed Forces.

And the part that’s not out in the open, but needs to be exposed is the ENTIRE Obama administration’s gross negligence handling classified information and corruption.

What America needs is for the WHOLESALE PUBLIC CORRUPTION to be fully exposed.

I believe we have a CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS looming on the horizon (maybe even closer).

May there be a few honest men and women left, who swore the oath to protect and defend The Constitution, who will insist that no one is above the law.

For those who want to read about Trump and Hillary’s Russian connection,  John R. Schindler’s, “Media Bites on Trump’s Kremlin Ties, But Clinton’s Are Long-Standing and Deep”, explains it all.
