The press awakens

As expected in recent weeks, the press has finally awakened since the “GOP Insurgent” succeeded in throwing the GOP primary into chaos and Donald Trump sits poised to be the GOP nominee in July.  Here’s a Politico investigation by David Cay Johnston:

Just What were Donald Trump’s Ties to the Mob?

Trump loves veterans…

Trump’s veteran’s fundraiser in January, when he threw his tantrum about the FOX news debate moderation, wasn’t as “great” as Trump had stated, according to this FOX News report: “Trump failed to raise $6M at January veterans fundraiser, campaign manager says”:

“Corey Lewandowski told The Washington Post Friday that the televised fundraiser for veterans only netted about $4.5 million. Lewandowski said the event fell short of the $6 million mark because some of Trump’s wealthy friends promised big donations, but backed out last minute.

There were some individuals who he’d spoken to, who were going to write large checks, (who) for whatever reason … didn’t do it,” Lewandowski told The Post by telephone. “I can’t tell you who.”

He also said that he wasn’t sure whether Trump’s own $1 million donation was counted toward the total.

The comments from Lewandowski are the first mention that Trump’s fundraiser netted less than he had touted. Lewandowski’s acknowledgement also comes over a month after The Wall Street Journal reported that most of the organizations targeted to receive the money have gotten less than half of that amount.”

So to recap from a February 21, 2016 LB blog post, “Do your own homework”:

Here’s some new oddities in Trump’s sideshow antic out of Iowa, where he held that veteran’s fundraiser to divert attention away from the FOX News debate he was boycotting, because FOX would not let Trump control their choice of moderators.  He tried to strong-arm a cable network based on his “feelings” that he wasn’t “being treated fairly.”

So, what happened to the money raised for veterans?  Well, some has been disbursed to some veterans groups according to this Weekly Standard report, but their report highlights some warning bells that his Trump Foundation operates much like the Clinton Foundation.  When Michael Warren, the reporter emailed the Trump Foundation with questions about the fundraiser this is what happened:

“On Thursday, I contacted the Donald J. Trump Foundation by email with a few questions about how the $6 million had been or was being disbursed. Five minutes later, I received a phone call from Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s presidential campaign manager. Lewandowski said a list of the recipients had been made public and that more recipients were being added all the time. How much had those recipients received? Lewandowski couldn’t, or wouldn’t, say. As a non-profit organization, he said, the Trump Foundation would release all the required details of its disbursements at the end of the fiscal year. To find out before then, he said, I’d have to contact the recipients themselves.

“The list is publicly available,” he said. “You can do your homework and ask the veterans’ organizations.”

Why wouldn’t the Trump Foundation want to publicize how much it had donated? (Especially given the fact that in recent years, Trump’s charity organization had given more money to the Clinton Foundationthan to veterans.) And why, when asking about the Foundation’s disbursements, had a representative of the campaign called? With no other options, however, I took Lewandowki’s advice.”

http://www.weeklystandard.com/some-vet-groups-still-waiting-for-trump-foundation-checks/article/2001154

Why indeed did Trump’s campaign manager respond to questions about the Trump Foundation?  That melding of the “charity” with the “political operations” is vintage Clinton and as it turns out, the way Trump does business too.  There’s also some big pharmaceutical executive who rents space in Trump Tower, whom some recipients believe is connected to the Trump Foundation:

“”We found out like everybody else did, when the Trump Foundation put the list up on the website,” said Kerri Childress of the Fisher House Foundation, one of the groups on the Trump Foundation’s list. “And frankly we haven’t heard anything since.”

Childress says the Fisher House Foundation has yet to receive a donation, though she was quick to add that it’s not uncommon for pledged donations to take weeks or months to actually be disbursed. Neither has the Task Force Dagger Foundation received a check, says managing director Keith David. “We did receive a check from the Stewart J. Rahr Foundation, and they share the same floor with the Trump Foundation,” David adds. Rahr, a pharmaceutical executive-turned-Manhattan-playboy, is friends with Trump and rents office space in the Trump Tower. It’s not clear whether or not there is a relationship between Trump’s and Rahr’s foundations.

Another vets group, Operation Homefront, posted on its Facebook page that it received a $50,000 donation Monday from the Rahr Foundation, which the group says they “understand is made in connection with Donald Trump.” Beyond that, says Operation Homefront spokesman Aaron Taylor, they don’t know much about it.”

The similarities between Donald Trump and his friends, the Clintons,  just keep multiplying, so if it ends up that Trump too hired dem political operatives to help him “win,” don’t act surprised!  Sure wish we could track the phone traffic between Trump, some key Clinton sewer rats, and then Bill Clinton…  Oh, to be a fly on the wall….

At this point Trump sure looks to be more like a Clinton dupe, who has become much better at scorched earth and mastered controlling the 24/7 NEWS cycle better than the Clintons.  He just might be their own Frankenstein monster….  If America’s future wasn’t hanging in the balance,  watching Bill Clinton’s perfect triangulation strategy blowing up in his face would be an enjoyable show.  Trump isn’t any better than the Clintons – they’re sharks that swim in the same pool of  WHOLESALE PUBLIC CORRUPTION.

Learning the art of character assassinations

Time for a little Messages of mhere (that’s me – going 3rd person here, sorry) retrospective – post Desert Storm.

In 1992 hotshot82nd and mhere left Germany and returned stateside.  Headed to Fort Leonard Wood, running a basic training company, was hotshot82nd’s assignment. mhere, being a mountain girl from northeast PA loved what is euphemistically referred to as “Fort Lost in the Woods”. Their 4 children loved it there too, The people in the Mid-West are the salt of the earth – friendly, warm, decent.

In 1994, hotshot82nd attended the Army’s Sergeants Major Academy.  From there, in July 1994, he was assigned to a post I’ll hold off from naming, let’s call it a large infantry post. He kept telling mhere he was sick of the politics in the Army and had no desire to be a command sergeant major. So, he was assigned to being the brigade operations sergeant major, which was commanded by his Desert Storm battalion commander.  In October it was back to Kuwait for a few months – Saddam’s Republican Guard was moving.

A change of command brought a new brigade commander, whom hotshot82nd loved working for – no-nonsense Cajun.  Almost daily  hotshot82nd told mhere amusing work stories about working for this commander.

As usual mhere got involved with family support activities and she began doing volunteer casework at the Red Cross, handling Red Cross messages.  After Desert Storm, the Army had revamped “family support” activities and even while at Fort Leonard Wood, mhere experienced the “new leaders’ wives as family support team leaders” program – Army Family Team Building.  The Army went from training commanders wives to wear their husband’s rank as part of the “command team”, to now it was Army “family” team building….

One day mhere received a phone call from a snotty captain’s wife, whose husband was the HHC, Brigade company commander’s wife.  This young woman told mhere that the officers’ wives in the company decided they didn’t want to meet with the enlisted wives for company family support meetings.   She said she decided she was splitting the group into enlisted and officer wives and she was going to run both groups.  mhere started asking this woman questions, like how long have you been around the Army.  This young woman (in the mold of americanrommel’s wife, queenoftherock) told mhere she met her husband by writing letters to him during Desert Storm.  She also told mhere the Army trained her how to be a “leader’s wife”.  mhere told her that there was no way an officer’s wife was going to run an enlisted wives group, just because all the officers’ wives didn’t want to meet with the enlisted wives.

A time trip back to Desert Storm:

mhere had plenty of experience with officers’ wives over her lifetime as a NCO’s wife and during Desert Storm – her husband’s brigade commander’s wife, queenoftherock, threatened mhere several times that she would have to report mhere to americanrommel and inform him that mhere wasn’t cooperating.  This had left a very bad taste in mhere’s mouth – a twit, officer’s wife, who wanted to activate wives’ phone rosters to pass out bomb threat information

There was also an emergency childcare situation where the queenoftherock’s FAC (Family Assistance Center) knew of a pregnant NCO wife’s need for emergency childcare, even before the soldiers’ left Germany, heading to Desert Storm.  This NCO’s wife had asked everyone imaginable and could not find any wife willing to take on her several young children.   The FAC did nothing, except blame the battalion commander’s wife for not doing “her job”, even though the staff at the FAC were PAID family support personnel  (many drawing plenty of overtime pay during Desert Storm, mhere suspected) and the Army command had an obligation to make sure families were cared for in Germany – those family members were “command-sponsored”.

When that NCO’s wife went into labor in the middle of the night, she came to mhere’s door down the street. This was a very nice little section of a German village that the Army had leased quarters for officers and senior-enlisted families. Many of the officers’ wives were resentful that the Army “allowed” enlisted families to live in “their” neighborhood. One time mhere’s oldest daughter got into a fight with a bully at the spielplatz, so mhere went to that bully’s mother to discuss the matter.  That officer’s wife was the “volunteer neighborhood mayor”.  That lady, showed mhere the marks on her son from the fight and started ranting at mhere.  She told mhere she didn’t know why the Army let people like mhere live in their neighborhood.  mhere told that lady she should stop humiliating her son by pointing out he got beat in a fight by a girl and walked away. Her son had been picking on smaller kids at the spielplatz, when mhere’s oldest daughter stepped in and that boy was bigger than mhere’s daughter;-)

So, mhere arranged to get this pregnant NCO’s wife to the German hospital, where the Army had arranged for her to deliver her baby and mhere was left with this lady’s small children, along with her own 4 small children.  mhere called the FAC in the morning and later in the day she called petitesouthernbelle, who besides being a battalion commander’s wife, was an elementary school teacher.  mhere told the FAC she couldn’t keep all these kids, because she couldn’t even leave her house with all these kids.  German hospitals keep mothers in the hospital longer than American hospitals.   In the evening petitesouthernbelle came and took the oldest girl to her house, because she had that girl in her class at school (afterwards the mother told mhere that petitesouthernbelle had even bought her daughter new clothes).

The FAC arranged emergency childcare and informed mhere some lady was coming to pick up the children.  The lady who arrived did not look familiar to mhere and she knew most of the people in the brigade.  So, mhere asked this lady some questions, as she gave the lady the kids.  The lady had said she was an American, but not connected to the Army and mhere wondered why the FAC would arrange for American family members to be put into the care of non-military families in Germany, especially in light of the elevated terrorism threat level.   mhere called the FAC and asked if this woman’s background had been checked. The bitchy woman told mhere that the rear-detachment chaplain’s wife and the battalion executive officer’s wife (a first-rate flake, holy-roller, and long-time friend of queenoftherock and perpetual bad-mouther of petitesouthernbelle) knew this lady from their PWOC group (Protestant Women of the Chapel) on post.  So, no one checked out this woman.  mhere was so upset that no one checked out this woman, that she called the USAREUR IG’s office, and the guy said, it sounded mismanaged, but due to this being the first time the Army left family members in one overseas location and deployed the soldiers to another overseas theater, things were chaotic.

Luckily, nothing bad happened, but because mhere called the IG, the officers’ wives jumped into action bringing meals to this NCO’s wife, even though they had never spoken to her before mhere’s call to the IG.   The volunteer mayor had been informed about this NCO wife’s emergency childcare needs long before this NCO’s wife went into labor.  That rear-detachment chaplain’s wife and her husband (who had time to hang around at home a lot while the rest of the brigade was off fighting) also knew about this NCO’s wife need for emergency childcare when she had her baby.  mhere had personally told both of them several times about this NCO’s wife problem, as they lived across the street from mhere, and that rear-detachment chaplain never walked around the corner to talk to this NCO’s wife.  mhere had asked that NCO’s wife if they had come to talk to her and the wife said only petitesouthernbelle had talked to her and told her she was still asking around.  In the end – the queenoftherock bad-mouthed petitesouthernbelle for not doing “her job”.

For many months mhere debated submitting a formal IG complaint about this situation, which could have ended badly. mhere remembered other terrorist attacks in Europe directed against the American military.  Another neighbor of mhere’s was a general’s secretary and she was married to another first sergeant in hotshot82nd’s battalion.  This neighbor mentioned in every other breath that she was the daughter of a colonel, but she was always agitating stuff among NCO wives against the queenoftherock and petitesouthernbelle.

mhere had seen how petitesouthernbelle just quietly tried to help wherever she could with family support activities and she also made the effort to meet enlisted wives.  She came up to mhere wherever she saw her on post and talked to her and she treated all of the enlisted wives like this.  The queenoftherock sure seemed to despise petitesouthernbelle though, because she bad-mouthed her many times to mhere, but mhere refused to play along.

This neighbor kept egging mhere on to file an IG  complaint, even offered to make copies of paperwork at her work – she told mhere this was an approved government use of a copier, when mhere asked her if that’s legal.  Finally, mhere gave her many papers to make copies of, but in the end mhere decided NOT to file an IG complaint. mhere had written some personal letters to hotshot82nd’s company commander, cptsilverstar, to keep him informed of the family support issues, as he had informed mhere that she needed to clear everything with him before they deployed.  She never received any response from him.

When the soldiers returned to Germany, the brigade had a family picnic, which hotshot82nd, mhere and their children attended – americanrommel and queenoftherock walked past them and the queen said derisively, “Hello, Sue!” and they walked by. But americanrommel gave mhere such a look of loathing and hate, that she was actually frightened.

Back to the mid 90s:

With this newly trained officer’s wife situation, mhere decided to go to the family support office on post to find out what the Army’s official guidance was on family support groups. This lady explained all the new rules to mhere and as the conversation moved about mhere mentioned she had known petitesouthenbelle, whose husband had just finished his brigade command here.  This paid staff lady, told mhere that she heard petitesouthernbelle didn’t do much to help families during Desert Storm.   She told mhere that she was good friends with queenoftherock and she started asking mhere all sorts of questions.  First off mhere told this lady that petitesouthernbelle had done a lot to help families during Desert Storm. This lady informed mhere that her brother was somebody high up in DA family support stuff and about all the issues from family support during Desert Storm led to a lot of changes and then she looked piercingly at mhere and she said, “some wife’s letters from Desert Storm” caused quite a stir.

Then mhere began to wonder if cptsilverstar or petitesouthernbelle’s husband had submitted her letters with their after action reports. The letters to cptsilverstar that mhere sent to the desert from Germany were not written like formal reports – they were mhere’s usual unparalleled snarky commentary.

mhere had already talked to the first sergeant’s wife to rally her to take charge of the enlisted company family support group. mhere went to that one meeting, but after that she decided to just let it go and she was very upset about the conversation with that paid family support lady.  One day mhere called the brigade commander’s wife and she told her why she had been upset with that company commander’s wife talking down to enlisted wives, but she also told her that she didn’t want any problems with americanrommel or queenoftherock.  mhere knew they had powerful friends all over the Army and that look americanrommel gave her years before had scared her.

As time went by, mhere noticed that no matter how nice she was to other E-9 wives and officers’ wives – she got the cold shoulder.  So, she stopped going to these meetings, but continued volunteering at the Red Cross.  Even more disturbing to mhere was the first time she met hotshot82nd’s new brigade commander, the Cajun, whom he liked working for so much, mhere had walked into brigade headquarters to talk to hotshot82nd and the new brigade commander came up to hotshot82nd and asked him something and as they headed toward hotshot82nd’s office,  hotshot82nd had quickly said, “this is my wife, Sir” before he turned to walk down the hallway and mhere said, “Hello.” That brigade commander gave mhere a look of absolute loathing and turned his back on her and followed hotshot82nd down the hallway.  mhere never stepped foot inside that brigade headquarters again.

A year or so later, this Cajun brigade commander came into the Red Cross office and mhere greeted him and said, “Good morning, Sir.” He gave her a look of absolute loathing again and turned and walked away, without saying a word to her.

So, even before mhere began posting comments on the Excite politics message boards in 1998, she had learned about character assassinations and whispering campaigns to destroy her reputation.  In 1998, hotshot82nd decided to put in his retirement paperwork and mhere was looking forward to being away from the politics of the Army “leadership”.

Ahhh yes, the “end of history”…

G. Murphy Donovan has a new piece up at The American Thinker, “Trump and the Victory Deficit”.  I posted two comments:

“By all measures, national security success is job one.”

Ah yes, the “great” Trump dissed every American ally, announced he would order US troops to commit war crimes to “scare” ISIS terrorists and today it’s reported he might open talks with North Korea….

The Trump “Unpredictable” Foreign Policy……. a surefire “winner”. Lol, what a joke, GMD!

And then I posted a response to another comment

USA-RIP Wednesday, May 18, 2016 1:25 PM

“Trump needs to pick a team that sends an inclusive message.”
Isn’t it interesting how all the ‘experts’ want to tell Trump, who has done exceedingly well by marching to his own drummer, what to do to get elected? I’d rather Trump continue on his own path and ignore the Karl Roves, GOPe, RINOs etc. losers. Not faulting the author, but may be it is time for a new direction.

susanholly Wednesday, May 18, 2016 4:38 PM

Trump has done exceedingly well with corrupt 10 months of FREE 24/7 NEW coverage, coupled with relentless repetition of his talking points, buzz words and the news media hyping the “winning in all the polls”, “Trump breaks all the rules”, “Trump the GOP Insurgent”.

The three cable NEWS networks giving Trump BILLIONS of dollars in free media, guaranteed Trump would be winning in the polls, because it’s a RIGGED system.

Sadly, former US military “Soviet analysts”, who don’t recognize mass media INFORMATION WARFARE, even though mass media manipulation and totalitarian mass media control were part of their intelligence training, worry me more than Trump, quite frankly.

Mass media saturation is the military strategy of swarming juxtaposed to a mass media battlefield. It couples relentless repetition of talking points and buzz words and polling data to allow those political messages to control the 24/7 news cycle. This repetition manufactures opinion/information cascades and is a form mass brainwashing – hence Obama zombies sound very much like Trump’s 5th Avenue Loyalists. it preys on those easily led and Trump’s beloved “poorly educated”. This use of mass media is more at home in totalitarian regimes.

Scorched earth is the military strategy of scorched earth (a war crime under the Geneva Conventions btw) juxtaposed to a mass media battlefield, Scorched earth information warfare is a take no prisoners blitz of relentlessly repeated vicious character assassinations AND mass media saturation on steroids.

Mass media saturation strategy is a complex, sophisticated form of Information Warfare and to succeed it requires active collusion between the politcal operatives and the mass media, who knowingly facilitate the mass media saturation.

Sometimes I wonder if when the Soviet Union collapsed, good American national security protocols collapsed too…

Ahhh, yes, the “end of history” and all that….

Comment at The American Thinker

Posted a comment at The American Thinker  (Tuesday, May 17, 2016 1:47 PM).  We’ll see how long it takes for it to be removed.  The article is “Clinton vs Trump: The freak show is just getting started”.

Well, we’ve had “the GOP Insurgent campaign”, the “Bern Insurgent campaign”, the personality reinvention and attempt to keep “Queen Hillary’s coronation” on track, so who knows there might be a whole new Reality TV script that blows this 2016 election in a whole other direction.

Trump and Hillary both are using scorched earth/mass media saturation form INFORMATION WARFARE, that the Clinton’s spinmeisters brought to American politics with their “War Room” in the 90s:

Carville/Begala scorched earth is the military strategy of scorched earth (a war crime under the Geneva Conventions btw) juxtaposed to a mass media battlefield

Mass media saturation is the military strategy of swarming juxtaposed to a mass media battlefield

Combined, they have been ruthlessly used to divide America into hostile, warring factions.

So, going with their “military jargon”, maybe the new script will include COIN – the counter-reaction to an “insurgency” – lol, maybe it will be “winning the hearts and minds” of the American people:-)

One can only hope for better choices than (in their fighting words) “Crooked Hillary or “Loose Cannon Donald” and then there’s a leftover Marxist from the 60s, (Bernie the other “insurgent” candidate).

Another blast from LB’s past

The following is repost of my LB post, “Seeking Justice” from January 4, 2015

Seeking Justice
The internet provides an opportunity for any wanna-be writers/journalists to get their scribblings, the good, the bad and the putrid, before the public eye. When I first started writing my blog, I worried endlessly over the myriad of typos and grammatical errors missed in proofreading and my greatest fear was of writing posts that sound stupid. After two years of blogging, there remain plenty of typos and grammatical errors and more often than I would wish, I write stupid stuff. But, I love writing, researching topics that catch my attention and most of all I am so thankful and grateful to have some regular readers and commenters to keep me humble and on my toes. This one’s a personal, lengthy, speaking my thoughts aloud post and it may prove to be very stupid too – so you’re duly warned.

In the past month, I’ve been engrossed in following the Jessica Lane Chambers murder in Panola County, Mississippi. The Last Refuge blog (The Conservative Treehouse), along with several other blogs, twitter folks and facebook pages, has been relentlessly covering this murder case. Jessica’s family and friends hit twitter and facebook pleading for help in solving her murder too – along with asking for donations for reward money for information leading to the arrest of Jessica’s murderer(s) and also money for the medical bills from her brief hospital stay the night she died. Why the family is getting the bills, I don’t know, since Jessica was an adult, but that’s what the family facebook page states. The online journalists also ask for donations to continue their work.

Between the competing online journalists engrossed in this case and Jessica’s family, plus a multitude of locals in Panola County who, likewise, have hit the internet to make their views known, offer their insights into everything from the racial dynamics, the gang situation, decoding regional vernacular, and even climbing out on limbs to paste leaves on the ever-expanding family trees in this colorful forest of characters, whose names parade across the world wide-open field of online “journalism”, the only truth revealed is nature abhors a vacuum! In this vacuum of officialdom (the law-enforcement community), offering no new facts to gnaw on, this case serves as the ebola strain of internet sleuthing.

On December 21, 2014, a commenter, TexasRanger, posted a comment on my blog, warning me to be careful of accepting The Conservative Treehouse’s facts, laying out a methodical listing of open source material belying a stated fact from that blog. I like a lot of the blogging at The Conservative Treehouse, as it quite often fits my conservative political viewpoint, but after watching what can only be described as an unseemly pissing contest, between some online journalist, Charles Johnson, at a news site called Got News (which I used as a source once, God forbid), The Conservative Treehouse and a few other bloggers trying to trash not only the merits of their respective investigative journalism, but now it’s down to trashing each other personally, tread warily.

So, this journalist, Charles Johnson, ran with a scoop yesterday, a phone interview with Jessica Chambers old boyfriend, Bryan Rudd, formerly from Panola County, now residing in Iowa, (criminal record available online). Johnson asked few questions and Rudd rambled on for an half-hour, listing several men, to include Jessica’s father, Ben Chambers (criminal record available online), as potential suspects. Then, Johnson ran the piece trashing the journalistic integrity of the CTH blogger, sundance. CTH followed with a rebuttal.

The flaming went back and forth in comments on twitter, between CTH supporters and Johnson, in the comments on the CTH blog, but then a commenter, carterzest, on the CTH blog did a screenshot of Rudd’s twitter feed (Folk Deundra Nation is the moniker – Folk Nation being a gang, but Rudd claims he’s not affiliated with any gang, moving on…), accusing Charles Johnson of recording their phone conversation without permission (comment posted January 4, 2015 at 3:26am). Rudd has this tweet on his twitter feed dated 11:03 pm, January 3, 2015.

You have to become a screenshot professional to keep up with this mess, and being technologically-challenged, I haven’t mastered screenshots and struggle even trying to upload photos to this blog. Sorry, I can’t post the screenshot photo. Information comes and goes on social media sites very quickly, tweets flutter away, facebook conversations get removed, pages get reinvented under new names, blogs get reworked, reality shifts as the narrative gets revised.

I hope there is justice for Jessica Chambers, but likewise I hope there is justice for the young man, Deandre Joshua, who was killed in Ferguson, MO in a similar brutal fashion. Justice should be for everyone in America.

I know how it feels to want to cry out for justice, having felt that way since 1999. My blog is not investigative journalism – it’s my thoughts, views, opinions and most importantly the one place where I feel like I have a voice. I’ve felt drawn to Jessica’s story, because this young woman was betrayed and brutalized by so many people in her young life. The shroud of lies, trying to bury her case, made me think of my own situation. I wrote about what happened to me in my Messages of mhere story, and yes, that’s the truth, to the best of my recollection and each person mentioned exists – they have real life identities. I’m happy many people are fighting for justice for Jessica, because such a heinous crime calls out for action.

So, for the record, regarding my own situation related in Messages of mhere, tabbed on my home page, I contacted professional reporters and amateurs last year, in hopes of getting someone to help me drag thatwitch2016 to justice (expose how far she went to silence me over my Excite message board postings, under the user name mhere, in 1998).

She had all that power and I was just a nobody homemaker, yet she felt compelled to silence me. I was attacked in my own home. This girl Jessica wanted to turn her life around, she got a job in a store, but she was struggling. I feel thankful that I survived, unlike poor Jessica. I got a job in a store too, I finished raising my kids, but that attack damaged every relationship in my life. Her attack screams out though; she lost her life in a horrific manner.

Tenaciousness is one of my best and worst character traits – I dig for information relentlessly, I fight against injustice relentlessly and I’ve been fighting bullies long before it became trendy. All these years, I’ve felt personally violated by the attack on me, but a burning anger goes much deeper that the Army I love was egregiously used and abused too. She, thatwitch2016, through her husband, used Army assets to attack a private citizen on American soil. My husband was still on active duty in the US Army then, so they used a retired general to attack an enlisted family based on lies she conjured up. They corrupted the chain of command,  using the Army for personal political reasons. I believe this to be the TRUTH and yet, I can’t prove it on my own.

A few years back, I posted some comments on Ralph Peters’ (thepottsvillepundit) column at the New York Post. At that time, I was also writing on my computer about my plan to expose thatwitch2016. Comments on Peters’ column disappeared. my email and facebook accounts were hacked, then back to square one. For me, the very thought that she might become the next Commander-In-Chief of the US Armed Forces, not only disgusts me, it terrifies me.

Jessica’s case highlights small town corruption, where it’s hard to find a hairbreadth’s distance between the integrity of the officials and the criminals. My case goes all the way to the top in America. And just like mentioned above, that online postings can vanish in the blink of an eye – my blog could vanish too.

Last year, I decided to seek help in my fight for justice and I contacted The Washington Free Beacon twice, Bill O’Reilly twice, PJmedia once, That Last Refuge blog twice and Sharyl Attkisson once. I offered them the key to the real identities of every person mentioned in Messages of mhere, except for marfark, because I only knew his user name. I hoped my blog would demonstrate that I write rational, researched stuff, not wild conspiracy theories.

I lay claim to being a homemaker for 18 years and I’ve worked in a store since 1999. I served in the Army shy of two years, getting out when I was pregnant with my first child. I was trained to be an Army journalist, but I make no claims to being a journalist. I’ve tried to be an honest person and a good citizen my entire life. Here’s a message for Jeff (if you’re reading this) I would like my Good Citizen booklet (mentioned in Messages of mhere btw) back, please.

I received only one response – from The Last Refuge blog:

“We receive hundreds of emails each week. Since we operate with only volunteer staff we are unable to respond to all of them..
Unfortunately, we cannot conduct investigations on every matter brought to our attention, no matter how valid and well documented.
Thank you for understanding.
Warm regards,
Admin”

That simple courtesy of responding to me made me respect the folks at The Last Refuge blog. I’m not asking them or anyone for help, but I wanted to say my piece today. Yep, posting this is stupid. My personal quest for justice continues alone, in military terms, a Forlorn Hope, a lost cause from a long ago scandal. Jessica’s case is still fresh, with the trail not yet cold. I continue hoping their blog will be a force for seeking justice for Jessica. Let’s hope that with an alphabet soup of federal law enforcement in Panola County, MS and so much online effort, sunlight can vanquish the forces of Darkness in this small town American case crying out for justice.

We need every small step toward upholding The Constitution of the United States of America, where corruption pervades at every level, especially at the top.

Confessions of mhere

Just added a new tab, Confessions of mhere, at the top of my home page. This will be an ongoing page of “revelations” from my life. I’ll be adding information to both my Messages of mhere and Confessions of mhere pages to help keep the information somewhat organized. Due to their being many threads to follow, this is my small attempt to help the reader make sense out of the events in my life since the Clinton impeachment and my stepping foot onto the Excite politics message boards.

A “revolutionary” idea for America

The following is a repost of a LB blog post from February 5, 2013. When a government is corrupt at the top, it permeates all levels of the government. No area, not even the police and US Armed Forces, that serve on the front lines of preserving the rule of law, is immune. So, if there’s Wholesale Public Corruption at the highest levels of our government, it assuredly permeates down through the other levels.

I’ve expended a great deal of ink to writing about what happened to me in the Fall of 1998 during the Clinton impeachment. The events I related, while sounding impossible, are the TRUTH.

It’s not just personal justice I have been seeking, it’s exposure of the grave danger this corrupting of the chain of command in the US Armed Forces poses to the national security of the United States of America.  If the US military can be used as a partisan-political tool, to silence one citizen who spoke out, it can be illegally used to crush other citizens too. Even more ominous, a corrupted chain of command leaves a military that cannot unite and fight effectively. Corruption demolishes military effectiveness.

A great deal of effort has gone into setting me up, but also to set-up the few people who have listened to me.  I believe that family and friends have been approached by law enforcement or government officials and told I am some sort of “radical” or mentally-ill.  This happened in 1998, when my husband was being manipulated into agreeing to having me committed to a state mental hospital permanently too.  Well, since so much effort has been exerted to silence me and this blog, we shall see who is telling the truth.

Do not judge people by their looks, judge them by whether they are telling the TRUTH.  Do not place your trust in fancy titles or high rank – at least two of the “generals” they have recruited have dishonored their oaths.

Trust in the TRUTH:-)

Getting To Know You

How well do you know anyone else or even yourself?  Most people automatically assume they know themselves perfectly and from that little self-conceit they believe they know most of the people around them extremely well too.  I’ve decided to challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and really think about what things you believe to be true about yourself and what things really are true based on how you conduct your life.  All it takes is a short list of the things you say you believe and a quick honest appraisal of  how in practice you live up to your own value system to see that you, like just about everyone else (since we’re none of us saints) , falls short on just about every metric we deem as a worthy value to uphold.  This can be a humbling experience when you first start doing it, but after time it can help you learn to work on your areas of particular weakness and also help you build on your areas of strength.

Long ago, these types of character-building exercises permeated society from religious institutions all the way through our political institutions and down through our civic organizations and educational system.  Teaching “good citizenship” rested upon teaching the building of a good character.  These days “good character” got kicked to the curb, replaced by being green, being a diversity advocate, being non-judgmental, and being value neutral.  In other words nothing is right or wrong and if you believe there are moral absolutes, well, you need to be re-indoctrinated to get with the new regime.   The only institution that still  pays lip service to values constantly is in the military and that leadership has been hijacked by political sycophants for the most part.

To avoid making this too deep of a theological exercise, let’s just focus on the difference between actually  “knowing people” and “knowing about people”.  The first one takes more personal effort, because it involves actually making a personal connection with individual people and listening to them.  It takes time to get to “know people”.  To “know about people” ranks as a shallow second and third hand exercise where what you know usually comes from other people, in other words, much of it is little more than gossip that you accept as fact.  In our personal, everyday life this distinction might not have a huge impact other than to create unnecessary conflicts with neighbors, co-workers and within our own families.  And believe me, it’s hard to resolve some of these deep-seated misunderstandings based on not  knowing what’s truly in the hearts of others.  It’s hard work listening to others and really trying to understand what other people think, believe, dream.

While believing incorrect or absolute lies about other people isn’t usually too earth-shattering in our everyday lives, having our media and political institutions  reduced to consumers of “knowing about” people rather than taking the time to “know people” leads to many very unsettling results.  For instance reporters often zoom in on neighbors when seeking to add context to stories, yet do they ever bother to think that perhaps the neighbor hated the  person whom the story is about?  Do they bother to seek a broader understanding of the situation?    In this Newtown massacre within the first 48 hours, the press reported so many false stories that by the time they started coming up with a few facts, their credibility was nil and the damage had already been done.

Long ago, most news organizations prided themselves of being reporters of the facts (true pieces of information), with reporters trained to seek out who, what, when, where,  why and how.  Now we have live “reporting” where reporters fill the long segments with rambling gossip, innuendo, pop psychology detours, and plain emotional outbursts that should have no place in real journalism.

When this trend of accepting lies without question captures our political system, our Republic may be doomed.

Our founding fathers told us that the system they devised will only stand for a moral people.  Our electorate now falls mainly on shallow emotional hot-button issues, which both political parties shamelessly play.  The key factor in every election should be the character of the individual running for office, but we know that standard fell to the wayside long, long ago.  In the past 20 years, our moral compass as a nation died and we now have a media that helps promulgate lies for political advantage.  This mostly benefits the left, because the vast majority of journalists fall to the left politically.

During the Clinton years this dangerous threat to our Republic came to be known by the rather innocuous term “spin”.

SPIN is the deliberate, concerted effort of your elected officials to lie and deceive you.

If you accept “spin” as truth or excuse it as just part of politics, then seriously there is little hope of rescuing our society from the moral sewer where these Clinton spinmeisters left us decaying.   George Bush did spin some facts on the “war on terror” (a term that is in and of  itself a fallacy), but they avoided the cheap character assassinations that the Clinton crowd excelled at.

Now we have reached a new level of lying where cheap race-baiting tactics get used at every turn to keep the most shallow, intellectually vapid person ever to reach the Oval Office in power.  For rational people to accept flimsy “composite” white people as representative of the white mentality and to listen to his constant vile stereotyping of  white people, conservatives, rural Pennsylvanians (having grown up as one – well I took offense), well we are on a dangerous course here.  Now, the left is embracing junk science to promote the idea that conservatives are “genetically’  intellectually inferior beings compared to the liberals.

These dangerous paths always lead to governments running way off course to extremes, where an idiot like Roseanne Barr, seriously suggested re-education camps for conservatives.   Where was the outrage from the left about that insanity???

Americans need to wake up and realize, that before they side up against other Americans, they had better take the time to walk up to those who hold different views and sit down and talk first. Perhaps, by actually getting “to know” other people, we might be able to bridge the gaps and build a stronger nation, where all views from all people get heard at our political kitchen table.  And just maybe communities might get back to holding potluck dinners where everyone comes and shares a meal and gets to know his/her neighbors.

What an amazing concept that is – getting to know other people, up close and personal.

It just might revolutionize America;-)

Time to rebuild the American Team

Our American principles are enshrined in The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution. We are only strong when we are a nation committed to these firm American principles.

In the Army, they build a strong team by fostering Core Values, and it’s these beliefs that unite us into a cohesive team dedicated to one simple mission:

“To defend The Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.”

The founding fathers knew that slavery would be a looming question, that would need to be addressed at some point in the future. They put it off, in order to get southern states on board with ratification. George Washington even left it in his will to free his own slaves.

America is not falling apart because of illegal immigration, which is just one symptom of a dedication to “worship of diversity” over dedication to common civic values and a society complacent with Wholesale Public Corruption, where the collapse of civil order and rule of law attack the very pillars of our Republic.

America sits a divided nation – where every public institution lumbers under the weight of highly-charged factionalized-fighting. One can only wonder what event or chain reaction will set the final collapse in motion. If our Republic is going to survive, the last thing to believe is that “diversity makes us stronger”.

What made America great was not “diversity”, it was diverse people UNITED by a belief in a set of common civic values.

Having common civic values and a common belief in The Constitution would help gird up our once great nation’s crumbling pillars.

Allowing our educational system to be hijacked by those promoting  the diversity doctrine, in my opinion, is more of a threat than even illegal immigration. Just look at the craziness going on in American colleges and these are America’s future leaders. Frankly, many of the millions of illegals, who really like living here can be taught American values, as can people anywhere and that’s been what has drawn immigrants to our shores for centuries.

The US military has taken immigrants, who aren’t American citizens, and successfully integrated them into loyal American fighting men, who embrace our values. Obama of course, has busily been destroying the military, because it’s the last bastion in America where American values still ring loud and true – because the military insists on teaching core values and dedication to our mission every day. Every soldier knows what he is fighting for and it isn’t “diversity”.

The thing that should alarm Americans even more than illegal immigration, is that Americans have stopped insisting their own children become American citizens…..

American children are citizens of leftist nostrums and ideas promoted by anarchists and intellectuals dedicated to “fundamental transformation” of America. American children are indoctrinated from K-12 in the diversity doctrine, along with a whole host of other programs geared to destroy children’s  TRUST in their parents, traditional values and The Constitution.

This is a decades long endeavor to erode American society.

So, Trump might seem like a quick fix, yet in reality he’s a mercurial huckster, without the firm principles to guide a nation torn asunder with factional divides. And at best, he would serve 8 years and judging by his “divide and conquer” mentality, he will just further fuel the partisan divides, that weaken us.  At worst, “The Trump Unpredictable Doctrine” could lead to dangerous and rash actions at home and abroad, leading America into a rapid tailspin, that we can’t recover from.  Of course, Hillary offers the same flaming crash.

We need a “revolution” dedicated to promoting Good Citizenship, where we dedicate ourselves to inspiring  every American to embrace American ideals and principles.

And we desperately need good leaders, dedicated to uniting us and to rebuilding the American team…

Being a Dupe

Writing about politicians being set-up led me to wonder about me, yours truly being set-up.

Back in 2013, at the height of the push by punditry, McCain and the neocon chorus for Obama to arm Syrian “moderate” rebels, Elizabeth O’Bagy became an overnight media sensation.  It struck me as odd that this young woman could come out nowhere as a foreign policy subject matter expert, being listened to at the highest levels of our government.

I wrote: https://libertybellediaries.com/2013/09/03/stumbling-upon-some-facts-in-less-than-5-minutes/

The next day, I had a comment  on my blog post: https://libertybellediaries.com/2013/09/04/our-flat-on-our-back-strategy/#comments

Justin

I noted your comment over on Diplomad’s site from the other day.

Elizabeth (Bailey) O’Bagy

http://ccas.georgetown.edu/story/1242708341083.html

I’d suggest removing the apostrophe and searching for the surname, Obagy. “The Angry Arab News Service” has this to say, “On Elizabeth O’Bagy (the chief US groupie of the Fee Syrian Army) an American correspondent in the Middle East sent me this: “so what they don’t tell you is that she’s a senior member of the Syrian Emergency Task Force the pro-FSA lobbying group which took mccain to syria and is pushing for intervention, meaning she ’s paid by a pro-FSA group.”

What I posted at the Diplomad 2.0 blog was about Elizabeth O’Bagy and her Syrian Emergency Task Force side job as the political director and posted the link to my blog.   Now, I have been trying since 1999 to expose what happened to me during the height of the Clinton Impeachment scandal and in July 2013, I had mentioned the idea of writing about what happened to me, to a state judge, whom I know and whom I trust, in an email.  He is the person who suggested I start a blog, because he told me I have a lot of good ideas.  This judge suggested that using pseudonyms might be safer.  I had told him about what happened to me. So, in July 2013, I wrote Messages of mhere with snarky pseudonyms. I actually know this state judge in real life – he’s not just someone I met on the internet.
Then by September 8, 2013, I’ve got all sorts of new “friends”:
  1. Your site has been recommended to me and from a very brief glance – I am pressed for time today and tomorrow – it has been bookmarked for future reference.

As for Clausewitz, the main problem is pinning down *exactly* what he means. Translated from the original early 19th century German and written in the sinuous and/or ponderous prose of the German philosophers of his day, it is hard going. He seems to contradict himself, or, cover all his bases along the lines of: ‘if a then b, but if b then a’! It is not surprising to me that even a brilliant general like von Schlieffen misunderstood him.

  2. Able

    He made me come too!😉

Some of the ‘difficulties’ with Clausewitz are made clearer here:

    http://smallwarsjournal.com/jrnl/art/give-carl-von-clausewitz-and-the-center-of-gravity-a-divorce

In particular the points ‘Clausewitz didn’t actually write On War’ and ‘On War is but the first three of ten volumes of his collected, unsorted and incomplete notes’ clarifies, in addition to the language DD pointed out, some of the lack of … Er clarity(?) in the work.

Also, the point regarding ‘mechanical metaphors’ is pertinent too, I think.

DDs reference to von Schlieffen is, I think, a normal assumption regarding the von Schlieffen Plan. I’d question that assumption though, along the lines voiced here:

    http://www.military-history.us/papers/clausewitz-stalemate-in-the-first-world-war/

The Liddell Hart quote made me think of Fukuyama (a general description) here:

    http://webpages.charter.net/dbrews/trust.htm

Both America and Britain are/were high trust societies (depending on interpretation The US more so) but it’s interesting how much else can rely on that basic fact – national economics, military capability, etc. So Pops wasn’t just thinking of you and your interpersonal dealings, he was reiterating what made our cultures/countries great – smart man!

September 8, 2013, I wrote a blog post on an article by G. Murphy Donovan, a frequent writer on national security matters (his bylines have included his experience in national intelligence, he worked for Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper,  long ago, his experience as a Soviet analyst, his being a Tet Offensive vet, etc.). Here’s my blog post  https://libertybellediaries.com/2013/09/08/g-murphy-donovans-good-hygiene-primer/ and GMD commented:

I believe I may have hurt myself laughing, reading that link (Thanks and my solicitor will contact you anon).

Oh he’s clever! He reads like Terry Pratchett. Almost each and every sentence has to be re-read to see the real target of the cutting wit.

Another writer to add to my, ever growing, must read blog list.

I’m so honored you stopped by my blog GMD! Your recent American Thinker piece “Strategic Blindness in Syria” offered a really clear explanation of how we got to this point of complete strategic incoherence and it’s excellent (as always), but I wondered if you had some big picture strategic goals that might get us on a sounder footing? You’re an intelligence guru, so I’m curious if you think compartmentalizing so much intel-gathering, amongst so many different agencies makes much sense? And one final question, in my impromptu interview here, aside from burning and salting the earth where they plod willy-nilly along in the bowels of this bloated federal bureaucracy, is there any hope, since we’re stuck with these nincompoops who are running our great country into the ground?

The great GMD analysis here: http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/09/strategic_blindness_in_syria.html

Yeah, Holly, I’m always hopeful. But you’re right, I have had most of my experience as an analyst not a policy guru. However, I will say this. Hard to believe Roger Rabbit couldn’t do better than this bunch. I have a piece up today on American Thinker on the Ukraine mess. It will get to the blog eventually.. As for the vocabulary thing, I like to read T.. Dalrymple in the New English Review. He always sends me scrambling for a dictionary. I like, and need, the exercise. All the best.

Spot on, I think. Assad stays put, and not much else will happen. This will drag on and on until it vanishes from memory, like the Amu Darya evaporating in the sands of Kyzyl Kum.

Thank you Malcolm. Spent a little time checking out your blog and plan to spend a few hours reading more of your older posts. Love it so far:-)

I have some  flirtatious comments from Justin (JK), that I pulled from my blog and  saved, from these first weeks he commented on my blog.   I pulled those comments JK posted in the early days, believing he was a real deal US intelligence person and I was concerned he was being reckless posting stuff like that.  I also thought he might become a problem in my quest to expose thatwitch2016 and what had happened to me, so I emailed JK.   I am convinced he really does have a real intelligence background, I believe the things he told  me too, like he worked for John McCreary, I believe he was sent to be a foreign policy adviser for Senator Cotton’s campaign, I believe he’s from Arkansas.  JK and I emailed back and forth a lot and he provided me a ton of links.  I thought we were friends.   Through  JK, I also was led to the XX Committee blog, Fabius Maximus, Gypsy Scholar, Anna Raccoon and many others.

By September 23,2013, a new commenter arrived, https://libertybellediaries.com/2013/10/22/bumblebees-really-can-fly/#comments:

  1. Minta Marie Morze

I left a comment here yesterday, and now it is gone.

What was it I said wrong?

    • Minta, I didn’t delete anything and I have it set up for email notifications on all comments and I didn’t receive any notifications. Please be assured that your comments are always welcome:-)

  2. Minta Marie Morze

I wrote it on WORD first, to edit it, so I still have a copy.

Here is my comment from Yesterday:

Your posts are excellent, as are your links. They give me a great deal to think about, and that is the best kind of blog. I’m delighted to have found your site! I’m glad you commented on Diplomad’s site, with your blog address.

I get a bit depressed when I realize that both Thomas Sowell and the Diplomad were at UCLA at the same time I was there. I wish I had met them then. (Of course, I doubt if they would have noticed me.) I think that Sowell and Dip are American Treasures, and I wish they were much honored, and seriously listened to, advisers to the government.

I wish you had some sort of email address. I did a quick Photoshop showing you the secret of the pansy smile, and then I realized I had no way to get it to you!

By the way, two really excellent sites are http://www.americandigest.org and neoneocon.com. They both have excellent-to-brilliant posts and out-of-the-ordinary commenters.

Also, by the way, the first time I came to your site, I read back through many, many posts, because I enjoyed each so much. I read your multi-part story, and I absolutely believe you. I want you to know that you have a friend in me.

Anyway, keep writing, my friend, and I’ll keep reading your posts.

So, along comes Minta, who befriends me and says she has a pansy with a smile in the middle that she made for me and I email her and then she emails me that pansy picture and becomes an email friend and frequent commenter on my blog. She also directed me to the neoneocon blog and americandigest.com

One can only wonder what the connection is between all of these “friends” and who directed them to come to my blog and befriend me.  I know there’s a big name intel person, John McCreary, a big name intel person, G. Murphy Donovan and the former State Department, Foreign Service Officer,W. Lewis Amselem, who writes the Diplomad 2.0 blog, where he tells humorous yarns about his experiences in the Foreign Service.

Now, all along I have had a private online journal where I write about whatever is on my mind and a lot about my plans to expose thatwitch2016. I gave the two state judges, helping me investigate my 1998 impeachment mess,  the password to my private journal, so they know about my plans, but since I believe my computer has been hacked by thatwitch2016 and her minions since 1999, of course, I have been comparing what I write in my blog and elsewhere online, compared to what I write in my private online journals.

I emailed JK and Minta a lot of information about what happened to me in 1998 trying to give them a heads up, because I worried about their safety for emailing me and believing my computer was monitored by that witch.  I stopped calling friends, emailing friends, keep my distance from people, all out of fear that my problem might lead to them being targeted by that witch and her sewer rats (who operate exactly, like Soviet KGB or East German Stasi operatives).

To demonstrate the craziness of living like this so long, last week a box arrived by Fed Ex.  Immediately my concerns were raised, due to my posting comments at National Review urging the GOP leaders to unite and demand a FBI investigation into the Trump campaign media operations.  My immediate thought was, “what if it’s a mail bomb?, because I wasn’t expecting any box.  I carried the box into my kitchen, but then decided to bring it into my computer room to open.  I feared that if it was a mail bomb, from the kitchen it might harm my husband, a 100% disabled vet, who was sitting in the sun room nearby.  The box was Shari’s Berries, so I went and told my husband I got this box and don’t have any idea who sent it.  He smiled and said that he sent it and he said, “Happy Mother’s Day!”

Unlike all these “friends” online, I was never part of “the intelligence” game, I was just a homemaker wanting to chat with people. All the way back in 1998, I was looking at pen pal sites thinking I wanted to find friends around the world again, but then I landed on the Excite politics message boards. I regret every day since, that when I noticed these new posters bullying other posters and trying to silence them, that I didn’t just walk away (anyone experiencing Trump hordes in Disqus comment threads, these were the same type of hordes – Like Genghis Khan and his hordes “swarming”).  Part of my persistence was I like to win political debates, but the larger part is that something in me rebels at bullies trying to impose their will on others.  The only “crime” I ever committed was posting comments on a message board and refusing to back down from epic-size bullies with immense power!

I realized a long time ago that I was played, but I still thought these people playing me were loyal Americans – now I have my doubts.  So, when I don’t respond to your comments anymore – this is why.  I hope they are paying you well….

I refuse to submit to tyranny EVER!  This is still America and I will defend  The Constitution of the United  States against  all enemies, both foreign and  domestic.
