Aquamarine vs. turquoise

Finally, here is a post on factions, that’s so simple even a 5 year-old can understand the problem.  Adults might get stuck in their rigid ideological beliefs. All beliefs are not morally equal – some when carried to extremes have horrific consequences for millions of innocent people, while others can do remarkable good for the entire world.  That is the TRUTH.

Let’s say you believe very strongly that a color is aquamarine and I believe equally as strongly that that color is turquoise.  Being that we both believe a different thing, many avenues are there for us to choose.  We could argue and get so angry that we end up hating each other and never speak to each other again.  I could feel so strongly about my belief that I kill you.  We might even  kill each other fighting over who is right. I could even decide that it’s not enough to just kill you, but because you’ve convinced your whole town that the color is aquamarine, it’s necessary to kill all of them too.

Of course, on the less extreme side we might agree to consult an outside expert on color to settle the matter, perhaps, we could call the Crayola Company, after all they’ve been naming colors since 1885 in Easton, PA, near where I grew up.

We might argue, passionately and often, clinging to our beliefs (as President Obama accused those rural people in PA), but in the American tradition, we could agree to disagree and at some point, shake hands and say, “Let’s go have pizza!”  Presented to most 5 year-olds, the vast majority will agree that it’s stupid to kill other people just because we disagree, on the other hand most adults refuse to even listen to differing opinions.  Maya Angleou, renowned poet, expressed it exactly right:

So, in America, being a country forged together by a people committed to INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM, we have The Declaration of Independence to ensure our God-given, unalienable rights are not infringed upon:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Sadly, in America our political partisanship swirls dangerously to extremes – where hate has swelled to such a level  that many Americans choose to receive all of their news from sources that align with their political views.  The hate and extremism goes so far that even the President of the United States works to divide Americans into hostile camps.  Distrust turns Americans into furtive enemies, partisans avoiding those who hold an opposing view, with ideological walls being girded to lock out all who dare to disagree.  Even codes are enacted in our universities to silence opposition.

We must tear down these partisan walls!  We must work to find common ground, or we can not face the threats beyond our borders.  President George Washington warned about the dangers of extreme partisanship in his Farewell Address:

“I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the State, with particular reference to the founding of them on geographical discriminations. Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally.

This spirit, unfortunately, is inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind. It exists under different shapes in all governments, more or less stifled, controlled, or repressed; but, in those of the popular form, it is seen in its greatest rankness, and is truly their worst enemy.

The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.

Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight), the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.

So, beyond my stating it is a parental duty in a civil society to train your children to respect the rule of law.  George Washington tells you that it’s a duty to discourage extremist politics – the duties are required to be a good citizen.  I wrote a post in 2013 titled, “The duty of a wise people”. on this subject.

There was a time, not so long ago, when American school children were routinely taught about this speech and  American principles.  Sadly, today I suspect many school children don’t even know who George Washington was. And mentioning The Constitution, too often and too loudly, will get your name on a Homeland Security watch list as a right-wing extremist…

A dose of the truth on race in America

Well, just watched this NBC news report on Michelle Obama getting candid about race, so I am going to be candid too and say just a few words about all the daily slights she recounts.  All of the high-profile cases about black men vs the police involve black men with extensive criminal records – they were CRIMINALS.  You can argue the larger picture issue of incarceration rates for blacks and pretend it’s racism at play, but until black leaders address the real problem, which is the abdication of black men to take responsibility for rearing their children, the violence and criminal behavior will escalate.  White fathers need to take responsibility for rearing  their children too.  We have a society where far too many men have failed to do their duty to their children!  You can scream about rights and slights and whatever else you want and you can demand what you think is owed to you, but truly government will not solve this problem; neither laws nor money can solve the problem of parents failing to teach their children to be good citizens.   Treating other people respectfully is a duty in a civil society!

I think it is pathetic for Michelle and President Obama, who both rode the Affirmative Action gravy train to where they’re at today, to whine about the injustices they’ve endured!. The President of the United States wants to whine about an “alleged-racist white woman in an elevator ” clutching her purse, but did he face that head on and try to talk to the woman?  Michelle wants to whine about daily slights, but did she try to use these situations to talk to the “alleged-white racists” and bridge the racial divide?  NO, they judged without ever getting to know anything about the person – that is called prejudice!   When have they ever in their daily lives tried to get to know something about these white people, whom they’ve branded racists?  Did they ever even once open up a dialog with the alleged-racist white person and try to get to know him/her first, before judging?

They frequently  blame white people and use race to fuel the racial divide,  to further their political agenda and try to ram through more government programs to solve problems; problems that simply talking to people in these daily situations could solve without a government program or a riot in the streets!

President Obama is whining about stereotyping, but he assumes all people in rural PA are racists “clinging to their guns and religion”.  The White House and black leaders are giving a green light and validation for violent, radical Muslim black prison and street gangs and sundry other angry young black  men to attack white people, commit arson, attack the police – this is called ANARCHY!  All sensible people, of all colors and creeds, in America should remain steadfast in speaking the TRUTH and demand all citizens must obey the law!  NOTHING justifies violence against fellow citizens.  All citizens deserve protection from criminals, not giving them a free pass to take over the streets. The Constitution does not allow ANARCHY!

Who I am and why I blog

Last night I posted some comments on another blog, which I rarely do, because there’s rarely any discussions or even debating issues, that is a give and take of ideas in online forums or in the public square or townhall.  For whatever the issue, people quickly choose their partisan affiliation, break up into virulent factions and thus begins the hurling talking points back and forth, the name-calling and the automatic dismissal of what anyone with an opposing view presents.

Perhaps, my naturally snarky disposition predisposes me to raising hackles, because last night I was called pompous, an armchair expert, one who presents “quisling appeasement arguments” on the matter of dealing with radical Islamists intent on killing us (being Americans and other Westerners).  I probably should have just turned the other cheek and walked away and I admit freely, without nearly as much contrition as I probably ought feel, I responded in a catty fashion.

I’ve quoted this blog many times, even though often the comments section runs into what I consider racist commentary, because they work on the crowd-sourcing method, where lots of posters generate lots of information. Even this thread allowed a comment that I felt was outright racist.   This blog fixates on the high-profile black/police controversies and high-profile race cases.  After my exchange with that poster, I submitted two other, what I considered, thoughtful,  comments in response to other posters on the topic and as of this morning, those comments are sitting in moderation, making me suspect I was banned.  Yes, yours truly, libertybelle, managed to offend someone, lol.  Who would have thunk that…The other poster, who called me names from the beginning, is still posting there,

In any group of people not ALL of them are the same – they are INDIVIDUALS.  You can check out the exchange and judge me and yes, I regret getting catty and hope that I don’t come across as pompous or as someone who throws out “quisling appeasement arguments”.  I took umbrage at being summarily cast into some group by a person, who  dismissed me out of hand, without explaining where I was wrong or presenting evidence to show the information I presented was a “quisling appeasement argument”.  She dismissed me as not worth even talking to and  I call women like her queens, they try to lord it over others, based on illegitimate power.  That is what offended me – not the personal attack, but the, “Well, that’s just precious. It’s really sweet that you can read stuff and be an armchair expert.” attitude. I tried to explain who I am and that I do have some knowledge of military strategy and I told her, “I don’t know what “like-minded people” you think I am like. I support national security 100%, but I believe in comprehensive strategic-planning, not knee-jerk reactionary “go kill ISIS!”

I relay this little catty exchange for a higher purpose.  The purpose is to discuss FREEDOM and hopefully I won’t present a “quisling appeasement argument” and I hope, I don’t come across as an armchair expert, but I am going to defend myself.  I have spent part of almost every day since 1980, reading and trying to understand “war” and “military strategy”.  I try to understand both the strategy and tactics that armies, past and present, employ to wage war. I read history and more history. I follow the news.  I look at maps and try  to understand the geography of various regions.  I look at old ideas successful armies used and try to think about ways those ideas might be used in our military. I hope I don’t come across as pompous and as this is my personal blog, people are FREE to consider my views or not, but my purpose is not to impress anyone or get noticed. The purpose is I refuse to ever let anyone silence me -especially some arrogant woman using illegitimate or borrowed power! Whether wearing her husband’s rank on a blog or being a co-President in America, I don’t care, as an American, I will exercise my right to FREE speech.  Being banned from that blog is no issue to me, because I am FREE to express myself here on my own blog and publicly.  I’ve faced bigger challenges to my FREE SPEECH and even my very LIBERTY and I am not a quisling!

I’m going to talk about an exchange on that blog last night in the big picture, global context first and then in the next post, I want to talk about the little picture, FACTIONS in America:

The other poster said to me:

“I hate to break it to you, but ALL Islamists are radicals.
Islam is a cultural and political philosophy that is antithetical to the Enlightened West.”

I responded:

“All Islamists are radicals, All Islamists are Muslims. Not all Muslims are Islamists, Therefore, not all Muslims are radicals – sorry that’s logic, I have yet to find any two people anywhere I have been, here or abroad who are both ALL anything – human beings tend to be INDIVIDUALS. As an American. I love meeting people anywhere as individuals and trying to get to know them, not accepting what I have heard about ALL of their group (nationality, religion, race, whatever).”

In the Muslim world Sharia law, practiced to varying extremes, is a totalitarian political system masquerading as a religion.  Muslims are taught to conform, from cradle to grave, to the dictates of the enforcers of Sharia law.  They have very little FREEDOM.  I have known some Muslims who aren’t radical Islamists, and while the poster is likely right that all those who join up with an Islamist group are radicals, her other comments led me to believe she feels this applies to Muslims in general.

In places where religious indoctrination squashes free thinking and free choice, most people conform to the rules.  If minor infractions like being a female riding a bike in her neighborhood can result in public lashing or imprisonment, it’s easy to understand the deafening silence from the purported vast, moderate majority of Muslims we’re told exists.

Even in America, the silence surprised me.  We have lots of leftist indoctrination going on in our colleges and universities, where free speech is under attack, we also have leftist activists fueling anti-American causes and anti-Semitism.  We’ve got radical jihadi recruitment going on in many American mosques and communities too. Another factor in the silence might be when former Muslims, like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, speak out, they live with the daily burden of needing constant security, because their very lives are on the line in this battle against radical Islamists. What’s that saying, courage is rare, cowardice legion.

There’s been debate about “winning the hearts and minds”of Muslims.  SOME fear criticizing Islam offends ALL Muslims and therefore might incite more terrorist attacks.  SOME fear openly criticizing or offending Islam might create more radical Muslims. SOME fear private citizens  criticizing ISLAM might negatively impact American foreign policy or put US troops, at home and abroad, at risk.  I’ve unequivocally stated that I feel that argument is nonsense and that we need to speak up, loud and clear, and defend FREE SPEECH.  We should use these opportunities to explain that in America INDIVIDUALS are FREE – they are FREE to THINK, BELIEVE and SAY whatever they want.  Women here can even DRESS however they choose.  There are NO CONSEQUENCES in our legal system for being able to enjoy FREEDOM.  Throughout man’s history, INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM scares totalitarian regimes – whether it be a brutal king, a crushing communist regime or a 7th century religion casting holy terror, on it’s own people, and far beyond.

Our foreign policy response to the threat from the escalating radicalization taking place within the Islamist movement ranks as disjointed, lacking any sort of coherence and frankly between soft people’s revolts, which the US government encouraged, walking away from Iraq, the entire ME sits as a powder keg of explosive radicals engaged in brutal battle, dangerous power vacuums, massive instability from fleeing refugees, unstable governments and a looming nuclear arms race between the two houses of Islam, the Sunni and the Shia.  A detailed foreign policy plan is something I’ll hold for another day. Defeat ISIS is a way too simplistic stance, without a clear, long-range comprehensive strategy to bolster some sort of regional security framework and as a general idea, I believe  we should:

“Every effort should be made to reduce ethnic and regional friction points, but in the big picture world, we all need a geopolitical structure that offers some stability.  That comes from global leadership and strength, not from the major world powers feverishly eliminating their nuclear arsenals and hoping others follow suit.    A phrase like “greatest threat” presumes a whole heck of a lot and basically it’s sheer arrogance to believe one problem poses the greatest threat.”

I like to dissect strategic challenges into long range goals (the traditional Ends) and sift through ways and means too.  I  like to think about short and intermediate goals and I am always thinking about, “well if that doesn’t work, what then”, or I try to step into our adversaries’ shoes and brainstorm how the world looks from their position.  Now, how I started thinking about all this was because long ago, I was a young woman assigned to a Pershing missile unit in 1980 and trying to wrap my mind around “mutually assured  destruction” scared me.  I have been reading and thinking about our national security strategy almost every day since 1980 and asking myself “Why?”  I am seeking a different path forward to provide, not just a national security framework, but an international security framework for ALL of us. Yes, quite an insurmountable obstacle, a pipe dream perhaps, but there you have it – that is my personal mission and I’ll keep studying, reading history, and considering new ideas unto that end.  I am a nobody homemaker, but I am an American and no one ever told me I can’t succeed.  I started writing my thoughts and  ideas here and welcome other ideas.

I believe too much effort is directed toward extremes of “kill them all” or “bow down in submission to Islamist nuts intent on killing all of us“.  Hopefully, my determination to explore other avenues, than the extremes, doesn’t make me a quisling, an armchair expert or naive.  I’m a mother and a grandmother wondering about the future for them and I believe, we need to explore new ways of bolstering an international security framework and that demands LEADERSHIP.

What America needs most is better LEADERSHIP.  Policy failures dealing with the rising radical Islamist threat abound in both the Bush and Obama administrations, but in the Obama administration, America has abdicated  it’s role as a global leader.  The weak and appeasing  foreign policy decisions by this president have sown international distrust, instability, and chaos.  Into the void, the Russians, the Chinese, Iran and dangerous radical Islamists smelled that fear and moved.  That is where America stands now – we have a weak, cowardly person to lead us.  There aren’t any easy ways forward with an incompetent and cowardly leader, so railing for military action just puts our troops at risk, creates more chaos in the ME and emboldens the above mentioned adversaries to easily thwart any move President Obama makes.  Anyway, he’s too busy bowing to the mullahs in Iran to notice the disintegrating security situation, at home or abroad.  And most of all I don’t believe he cares one bit about the troops.

In my next post I am going to talk about the danger factions in America pose to remaining the United States of America.

Patrick Poole – what an investigative journalist should be!!!

Patrick Poole deserves a Pulitzer Prize for this quick and amazing investigative reporting on these two terrorists in Garland, TX.  He connects both Simpson and Soofi to the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, but he connects Simpson to another terrorist, Abu-Jihaad, who attended that same mosque and is serving a 10 year sentence in federal prison for terrorism-related charges that go all the way back to Abu-Jihaad’s time serving in the US Navy right after the USS Cole bombing.  Poole states:

“Abu-Jihaad transmitted then-classified information about his battle group’s itinerary, listing dates for anticipated port calls in Hawaii and Australia, and for the battle group’s transit through the Strait of Hormuz. Abu-Jihaad’s disclosure discussed the battle group’s perceived vulnerability to terrorist attack.”

Poole relates the information from the Justice Department report.  It took years for this leak to surface when a terrorist raid in a London apartment uncovered floppy disks with this information Abu-Jihad had emailed to London-based radicals at Azzam Publications.

Poole also includes information of Abu-Jihaad’s roommate, Derek Shareef, another ICCP mosque member, who is serving a 35 year sentence for “attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction” (a plot to set off grenades at a mall during the holiday season).

Truly, “No terrorism here!”,  is what the media and the Obama Justice Department bend over backwards to portray.  Poole has done some outstanding investigative work and this is truly superb!!!  Definitely read his entire report!

The dark cloud of agendas and money

In my “Follow the money” post yesterday I mentioned Christian charities and how money might temper them from speaking freely.  Now, let me be clear I have no evidence that the Obama administration warned Franklin Graham to temper his words or tried to alter how much money Graham’s organization, Samaritan’s Purse, receives, but just knowing  millions of dollars in federal-funding go to Graham’s private charity shows this conflict of interest in being free and unbiased.  I admire the work Franklin Graham’s charity does, so don’t interpret this the wrong way.

In the aftermath of this Garland, TX terrorist attack, Graham spoke out in a way so cautiously compared to his previous comments on radical Islam, that the contrast struck me as odd.

Then there’s this March 2, 2015 Talking Points Memo (TPM) piece I’ll quote in a minute, but first let me add this news source is NOT the Bill O’Reilly, well known “talking points”, but supposedly, unlike the oft-charged right-wing bias of Fox News, this TPMsite  states it is:

“Talking Points Memo (TPM) is the premier digital native political news organization in the United States – covering a broad range of politics, policy and national news in Washington D.C. and beyond. Founded in 2000, TPM has grown from a must-read blog to one of the most trusted and compelling websites in political journalism. Widely recognized as the pioneer of iterative journalism, which draws on readers’ knowledge to break stories, it was the first web-native news organization to win the George Polk award for Journalism in 2007 for coverage of the U.S. Attorney Firing Scandal. So, this premiere news source borrowed a famous title from a right-wing biased news source, which allows it to show up on google searches for O’Reilly’s talking points, but don’t notice that, pretend it picked the name out thin air in 2000 and play along.  Here’s a TPM article from March 2, 2015:

“The Rev. Franklin Graham kept up his warnings about Muslim influence on the White House in a recent interview with a Christian media company, saying that “radical Islamists” are “advising various levels of government.””

The articles continues;

““There are Muslims that have access to him in the White House; our foreign policy has a lot of influence now from Muslims,” Graham said. “We see the prime minister of Israel being snubbed by the President and by the White House and by the Democrats, and it’s because of the influence of Islam.””

Follow the money

Remember last summer when we had the whole hoopla about the poor children flooding into America from Central America and everyone from President Obama to Glenn Beck proclaimed we needed to help these poor children, but also found excuses for why they’re pouring in- terrible gang violence.   With the wave of a rhetorical flourish, they were no longer illegal immigrants, no they were now refugees, fleeing from violent gangs (as if we don’t have that problem here too).   It’s orchestrated to some degree (maybe a lot) and definitely abetted is my opinion, but during that hoopla it came to my attention that there are Christian charities involved with the federal government, receiving large sums of money to provide food and shelter for these illegal immigrant children (and the many adults with them).  I wrote about this here  here, and then here I wrote a post titled, “More border disorder” where I said:

“Pretending these illegal immigrants are going to assimilate and embrace American values seems a dangerous delusion and potentially a threat to our national security, as this mess escalates.   Of course, it’s easier to do the feel-good, “I care about the downtrodden” sound bites and not be accused of being a “hater”.”

So, fast forward and there have been recent reports about ISIS in Mexico near the TX border, which got poo-pooed as more Islamophobia, to quote Snopes, that oh so unbiased fact-checker (sarcasm intended), who fact-checked this in October 2014:

Then there was the Garland, TX cartoon-drawing contest terrorist attack, which was foiled by a fast-acting lawman and the media started deflecting attention from the radical Muslim connection, by attacking the contest organizer for “inciting” the attack.  She’s a brassy, New York Jewish lady, so thankfully,  she isn’t backing down to intimidation!  So, our trusty , diligent reporters spend a week attacking Pamela Geller and reporting crap like this, which is a CNN story :

“(CNN) — Whatever spurred Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi to drive across two states to shoot up a Prophet Mohammed cartoon contest is lost on their families, their neighbors and the place they had worshipped.

One was a described as “gentle person,” albeit one who had been convicted of a terror-related charge and supported an ISIS propagandist. (my emphasis not CNN’s)

The other was a father who had “put his son above everything” — until the day he and his roommate opened fire at the event in Garland, Texas, wounding a security guard before police shot and killed the gunmen.”

The article lists connections to terrorism, then includes this nonsense:

“He had ‘a good demeanor’

That’s according to the president of the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, where both Simpson and Soofi worshiped.

Usama Shami said Simpson came regularly until around 2010 or 2011, about the time the FBI arrested him on the false statement charges. Soofi came less frequently.

Simpson “was a gentle person,” Shami said. “He always had a good attitude, a good demeanor.”

Like others at the mosque, Shami said he was stunned to hear about the attack Sunday night.

“They didn’t show any signs of radicalization or any signs of even thinking about those things in that manner,” he said. “So when that happens, it just shocks you. ‘How good did you know these people?’ That’s the question that people ask themselves.””

No, no, he was a gentle person, yada, yada, yada.  Now, here’s some information on the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix: “The Texas terrorists’ mosque in Phoenix is reportedly controlled by a Muslim Brotherhood front group.” from the Gateway Pundit.  For more information on Muslim Brotherhood front groups Andrew McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor, has written scores of articles on this topic and several books too – he has meticulously researched and investigated this topic.  Here is a Clarion Project article to enlighten the President of the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix: “Muslim Brotherhood Funded 50% of the Mosques in the West”  Oh my, how could that be?  Yeah, really, quite a mystery for the mainstream media to research and find the facts…

Between the hordes of  illegal immigrants, hordes of legal immigrants pouring in from Muslim countries, that are hotbeds of radical Islam, under the refugee guise, a porous border, and now this new addition to these terrorist attacks inside America committed by Americans, the government and the media go to great lengths to pretend none of these issues are connected in any way somehow seems peculiar to me.

In the most recent attack in Garland, TX the two terrorists were Americans who the press and government assure us they haven’t found any direct link between these two terrorists and ISIS.  We’ve been presented this “lone wolf” misdirection for years now and been told everything ranging from it’s recruitment from social media or in the largest terrorist attack on a US military installation in the United States, at Fort Hood, TX in 2009, our Homeland Security Director told us it was just “workplace violence”.  I have often wondered how closely our authorities have looked into searching, not just  for direct internet communication between these “lone wolf” terrorists and foreign terrorists, but have they looked at homegrown radical Islamist connections right here in America- both in mosques and in that unspoken large, dangerous radical Islamist element within black America.  No one wants to mention that.

In light of the racial tensions, our federal government and the media pretend all these race riots aren’t being fueled, in large part, by Marxist radicals, stalwart race hustlers like Al Sharpton, and MUSLIM black gangs and thugs – like the Nation of Islam, the New Black Panthers, Black Guerrilla nation and many more.   The media, by and large, tiptoes around acknowledging that radical black Muslim gangs serve as a home-grown terrorist training ground.

Malik Shabazz, formerly in the Nation of Islam, former  head of the New Black Panthers, a Muslim black supremacist, virulent anti-Semite and now the head of some nicer sounding National President of Black Lawyers for Justice, became a champion of the black people against the police in Baltimore and here’s the connection of the black Muslim gangs banding together for “justice”.  Really, the attempt to cover-up the Islamic connection among American academia, the Obama White House, and even the Southern Poverty Law Center is astounding.  You can check out the New Black Panthers at the SPLC website and no where in the first pargraph describing the group is the radical Islamic connection mentioned (way down the page you can find his connection to Nation of Islam):

“The New Black Panther Party is a virulently racist and anti-Semitic organization whose leaders have encouraged violence against whites, Jews and law enforcement officers. Founded in Dallas, the group today is especially active on the East Coast, from Boston to Jacksonville, Fla. The group portrays itself as a militant, modern-day expression of the black power movement (it frequently engages in armed protests of alleged police brutality and the like), but principals of the original Black Panther Party of the 1960s and 1970s— a militant, but non-racist, left-wing organization — have rejected the new Panthers as a “black racist hate group” and contested their hijacking of the Panther name and symbol.”

Here is a UK Daily Mail story “The rival gang members who stood against violence in Baltimore: Crips, Bloods, Black Guerrilla Family and Nation of Islam ‘united as black men’ to stand between police and rioters“, with a jolly good first sentence like this:

“In an extraordinary show of unity in Baltimore, rival gang members of the Bloods, Crips and Black Guerrilla Family, appeared to come together to ask protesters to stop the violence and help rebuild communities.”

Hint to the Daily Mail – these groups are CRIMINALS and ANARCISTS.  They incited the riot in Baltimore and then gave this stand down order to their gang members to set the stage for this political sideshow.  Wake up, America!  They’re the ones who caused the destruction and now they’re are going to unite against violence and help rebuild???  Many of these gangs are conduits to drug trafficking for Islamist terrorist entities abroad.

So, there’s a black Muslim radical connection, that most of us have no idea just how radical or how closely aligned with jihadist ideology these groups are, then there’s the insidious influence of the Muslim Brotherhood, which has connections at the very highest levels of our government, for instance Hillary Clinton’s long-time aide, Huma Abedin.  Abedin and her parents are closely connected with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Here’s an excerpt from 2005 Frontline piece, “The Salafist Movement”, by Bruce Livesey, which might help you understand that the Muslim Brotherhood is not some benign group to help Muslims in America avoid persecution from a cartoon-drawing contest or to fight Islamophobia:

“When Gilles Kepel was researching a book about the origins of the global jihad movement back in the 1980s, he recalls rarely coming across Muslim fundamentalists known as “Salafists” living in Europe. “The ones who were prevalent … were totally apolitical and they didn’t deliver theoretically or in terms of doctrine,” he says.

Salafism is an ideology that posits that Islam has strayed from its origins. The word “salaf” is Arabic for “ancient one” and refers to the companions of the Prophet Mohammed. Arguing that the faith has become decadent over the centuries, Salafists call for the restoration of authentic Islam as expressed by an adherence to its original teachings and texts. “Salafists originally are supposedly not violent,” Kepel explains. “They are not advocating the revolt against one who holds power, against the powers that be. They are calling for re-Islamization at the daily level.”

By the mid-’90s, Kepel saw an alarming change among Europe’s Muslims. Increasingly he was coming across Salafists who had embraced jihad — in other words, who felt violence and terrorism were justified to realize their political objectives. Kepel explains that when Salafists, who tend to be alienated from mainstream European society, meet and mingle with jihadists, it fuses into a volatile mixture. “When you’re in the state of such alienation you become easy prey to the jihadi guys who will feed you more savory propaganda than the old propaganda of the Salafists who tell you to pray, fast and who are not taking action,” he says. “And this is why the [Islamist terrorists] who had been arrested were often good Salafists in the beginning.”

Kepel labeled these Muslim fundamentalists “Salafist jihadists”, a term that he extends to include the followers of Al Qaeda. Salafist jihadists are now a burgeoning presence in Europe, having attempted more than 30 terrorist attacks among E.U. countries since 2001.

While European counterterrorism experts recognize that Salafist jihadism is an ideological movement with deep religious and historical roots, they feel that their counterparts at the FBI and American intelligence agencies don’t share this understanding. “I began using the word Salafi and Salafists in 1997 in meetings in Washington and nobody raised the word and asked what does it mean,” says says Xavier Raufer, a Paris-based expert on Islamic terrorism who has close ties to France’s intelligence community.

“The origins of Salafi jihadism can be traced to the Muslim Brotherhood, the seminal organization for Islamic terrorism. Founded in 1928 in Egypt with the goal of establishing an Islamic state, the Brotherhood had as its slogan “The Quran is our constitution.” The Brotherhood’s political agenda combined with its rigid version of Islam proved to be an explosive formula. “The Muslim Brotherhood is the mother of all these movements, ideologically,” says Dr. Mamoun Fandy, an Egyptian-born professor of politics and senior fellow at the James A. Baker III Institute of Public Policy. “Salafist jihadism and the activation of the views of the world of the house of Islam and the house of war are the ideas that emerged from the writings and the teachings of the Muslim Brotherhood.””

Al Qaeda is an off-shoot of THE SALAFIST MOVEMENT!

Then we come to Arab money going to aid poor minority students rumors (haven’t found any proof), but this link was given to me on another blog when I asked about this Muslim/black America connection.  The article has footnotes at the bottom and it includes a syndicated 1979 column by none other than Vernon Jarrett, Valerie Jarrett’s former father-in-law.  Oh, the title of that  1979 Jarrett article, “Will Arabs Back Ties To Blacks With Cash?”  Here’s an intriguing excerpt from the Frank Miele article, “Does 1979 newspaper column shed light on 2008 campaign story?”:

“So far as I know, this 1979 column has not previously been brought to light, but it certainly should be because it broke some very interesting news about the “rumored billions of dollars the oil-rich Arab nations are supposed to unload on American black leaders and minority institutions.” The columnist quoted a black San Francisco lawyer who said, “It’s not just a rumor. Aid will come from some of the Arab states.”

Well, if anyone would know, it would have been this lawyer — Donald Warden, who had helped defend OPEC in an antitrust suit that year and had developed significant ties with the Saudi royal family since becoming a Muslim and taking the name Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour.

Al-Mansour told Jarrett that he had presented the “proposed special aid program to OPEC Secretary-General Rene Ortiz” in September 1979, and that “the first indications of Arab help to American blacks may be announced in December.” Maybe so, but I looked high and wide in newspapers in 1979 and 1980 for any other stories about this aid package funded by OPEC and never found it verified.

You would think that a program to spend “$20 million per year for 10 years to aid 10,000 minority students each year, including blacks, Arabs, Hispanics, Asians and native Americans” would be referred to somewhere other than one obscure 1979 column, but I haven’t found any other word of it.

Maybe the funding materialized, maybe it didn’t, but what’s particularly noteworthy is that this black Islamic lawyer who “for several years [had] urged the rich Arab kingdoms to cultivate stronger ties to America’s blacks by supporting black businesses and black colleges and giving financial help to disadvantaged students” was also the same lawyer who allegedly helped arrange for the entrance of Barack Obama into Harvard Law School in 1988.”

Yes, I know my inquiring mind is in overdrive today, but I will reblog a post from  Musings from a Middle Aged Man, after this post, but for those of who don’t know, that blog is written by an old (retired) New York cop and he comes up with some interesting pieces of information. So we have illegal immigrants pouring in, possibly Arab money being used to convert poor blacks, we’ve got “lone wolf” terrorists traveling by two in this Garland, TX case, yet the FBI is scouring the internet looking for a direct link to ISIS in Syria/Iraq, but no luck, even though both attended a local mosque in Phoenix, which would seem to be the place to start looking right here at home.

Oh, so who is ISIL,ISIS,IS?  Well if you listen to the media, they’re some evil Islamic genie, who popped out of some lamp straight from hell.  If you listen to the President, they’re the JV team.  Well, here’s who they are SALAFIST TERRORISTS, whose leader was head of Al Qaeda in Iraq.  There is radical Islamist recruiting going on, not only on social media and in mosques, but in poor black communities and in our prisons and it’s in academia being funded by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Now, the Musings from a Middle-Aged Man blog posted a link that explains the assimilation dilemma and how we are being duped by our own government and many Christian charities about the threat from hordes of illegal immigrants and even legal immigration efforts to resettle large Muslim populations from radical Islamist hotbed countries. It’s the Refugee Resettlement Program and perhaps some of you can shed more light on this program.  The video and link on Musings blog states how the program is run and the connections between the UN, our federal government, the Islamic Supremacist groups, and even Christian charities, who receive millions of dollars from the federal government to provide social services to refugees.  So, when a Christian charity organization is receiving millions in federal tax dollars, there might be a willingness to sell the government propaganda about this immigration nightmare or perhaps just a willingness not to mention it. The Bible has so many warnings about money, I don’t know where to begin…   Maybe someone can shed more light on the Islamic Hijra, this video states is being promoted to spread Islam into other countries and promote Sharia law.  Is this true?  I don’t have the answer to that yet.

It’s hard to find honest reporting and facts that aren’t tainted.  I came across this January 2015 article: “Are All Terrorists Muslim?  It’s Not Even Close” at The Daily Beast and this article uses a Think Progress (yes, George Soros again) piece of research to conclude that less than 2% is Muslim terrorists.  Of course, when even a glaring case of a jihadist terrorist attack on our largest US Army post gets dubbed mere workplace violence by our own government and there is a concerted effort to deceive the public from all sorts of leftist groups and and our mainstream media can’t seem to do more than regurgitate White House narratives, shouldn’t we demand the truth?

Those who dare to question or challenge the lies are doubters, wild conspiracy theorists, Islamophobics, haters, and in the case of Pamela Geller, who is trying to tell America there’s an orchestrated totalitarian ideology spreading in America and those spreading it are determined to stamp out our FREEDOM and impose Sharia compliance in America, she is a pyromaniac, according to Juan Williams, and she should just shut-up and not say mean things that might offend SAVAGES (like the ones who share those lovely decapitation videos online) or the vast, SILENT, majority of MODERATE Muslims, whom a cartoon of their prophet might offend. I’m offended that in over a decade, they haven’t spoken up en masse to denounce the SAVAGES, but instead want to deflect blame and find excuses! The jihadist movement and these black radical groups, in collusion, are trying to create anarchy in predominantly black urban areas – the Van Jones plan. There’s still a lot of money trails along this jihadi magic carpet ride that need to be investigated.
