Think for yourself

American public opinion is shaped by “experts” of various political ideologies. Welcoming many ideas is a good thing, because we should be a nation that is not fearful of competing ideas. However, we should also be a nation that does not allow elites to rule which information we can access or a nation reliant on a small group of elite “experts” to feed us what facts, information or ideas we should believe.  Efforts to quell free speech or rely on elitist gatekeepers, whether they be “journalists”, “military experts, “intelligence experts”, “medical experts”, talk show hosts, reality TV stars, etc., has created an American people who place their trust in other people’s ideas, usually without any independent research, fact-checking, or even thought.

America has become a nation of intellectually lazy people, who are easily led.

THAT is the problem facing our country in this fast-paced  mass media information battlefield today, where aggressive foreign influence operations abound.  Back when I was first on the internet and posting comments on the Excite message boards, I wrote about this problem, which even in the late 90s was referred to as the Oprahization of America.

Actually, I believe the trend started much further back, when talk shows like Phil Donahue started trying to mold the American conscience on politics and hot button cultural issues. In todays’ fast-paced information landscape, talk shows have now been upstaged by newsy talk shows, where cable TV pundits take “viral social media” comments or unidentified man-on-the-street videos and turn these into “national conversations”, except there is no real “conversation” – only slick media trying to mold public opinion.

Twitter, in 140-characters, is the fast-lane avenue for “debate” among America’s elite to shape public opinion on news and events.  Along with journalists who sit on their butts retweeting each other’s stories, without even a cursory effort to check the facts first, Twitter is full of think tank, military and intelligence experts, who laud it over and take delight in dismissing the lesser mortals as nobodies who should not even be allowed to comment.  They, like the “professional journalists”, retweet each other’s “expert” opinions and theories, while mocking and dismissing lesser mortals opinions automatically.  Trump mastered Twitter too.

It’s a very insular world of elites, where only ideas and opinions they deem worthy of consideration become the accepted wisdom.  If you are part of their elite group, even if you’re tweeting and retweeting total bullshit,  you’re an “expert” or a “journalist”, but if you challenge their “expert opinion” and aren’t part of their elite group, you are dismissed as a hack.

Twitter is just the latest social media gathering spot for the politico experts to sit and argue back and forth online, the Excite message boards were a hub in 1998.

Russian influence operations is a topic of national concern now.  I’ve been concerned about its reemergence since the late 1990s.  Online, I’ve fallen for several sites, which were purportedly “conservative”, but which I now believe are Russian front operations.  I’ve quoted some of them on my blog too and given credence to their information, because I believed they were conservative sites reporting facts that the mainstream media wasn’t.  This election has brought the Russian influence operations out into the open, because they’ve been so flagrant and plentiful.

I have been looking for a way to expose the wholesale public corruption of the Clinton machine since 1998.  I wrote my story, Messages of mhere, in a snarky manner, replete with pseudonyms, but the events happened.  During impeachment I was attacked in my home by a Clinton hack retired general, who hates my guts over family support run-ins I had with his wife during Desert Storm.  Letters I wrote to my husband’s company commander during Desert Storm, informing him about what was happening back in Germany, ended up at the Department of the Army afterwards.  This general was my husband’s brigade commander during Desert Storm.

My comments on the Excite message boards were countering the Clinton spin there and some of my arguments were being picked up by actual conservative pundits, so I was silenced. Ever since impeachment – this retired general has been a faithful Clinton/Democratic Party hack.  He was used many times to bash GWB’s Iraq War and travels the speaking circuit.

In 1998, being fairly new to the internet, plus technology-challenged, I did not save my comments that I posted on the Excite message boards, which was the only place I was posting comments online.  I can’t prove my story yet, so I continue to use a pseudonym and to study, looking for a way to expose what happened.  It wasn’t just being attacked in my home that keeps me working to expose what happened and it isn’t some deep-seated hatred of the Clintons – it’s because my husband was manipulated in this attack on me, by people in the Army he TRUSTED.  My husband trusts this brigade commander and would never believe that he would attack me or harm our family.  I also believe this brigade commander was fed fabricated information that led him to believe that I was a deranged, right-wing psycho and since he already hated me – I doubt it took much for him to believe the worst of me.  My Desert Storm letters caused a big stink at DA – although I didn’t even know they had been sent to DA until several years after Desert Storm.

The US Armed Forces chain of command was deliberately corrupted and used as a partisan political tool, to attack an UNARMED American citizen on American soil.

As a result of being attacked, I was involuntarily committed to a mental facility, I was repeatedly taken into a conference room by two different shrinks, who kept trying to coerce me to sign paperwork.  One of those shrinks called my husband at home, at night, to try and convince him to agree that I should be committed to a state mental hospital – permanently.  I had been locked up 18 days, a hearing had been arranged and NO ONE in this mental health facility ever told me there was going to be a hearing or advised me of my rights.  They kept taking me to a conference room and trying to coerce me to sign paperwork.  My one son, then a young teen, when he was visiting with my husband, whispered that the shrink had called my husband the night before and that my husband was crying.  He told me there was going to be a hearing and the shrink wanted my husband to agree with sending me to a state mental hospital.  This is the effort that went into silencing me.  And this is the kind of stuff that happens in Russia and totalitarian regimes, NOT in AMERICA.

If it could happen to me, a nobody homemaker, it could happen to any other American too.

The foreign information warfare efforts aren’t just a problem with a few specific sites, in my amateur opinion.  I have believed since 1998 that the Clinton machine & DNC were permeated with hostile foreign intel information assets.  The SPIN cycle, replete with repetitive talking points messaging and endless polling data to convince Americans that polls (momentary opinions of a few people) reflect the “will of the people”, works to nudge Americans to get in line behind this majority opinion, as expressed in polls.  The news media sells which polls are “scientific” and reliable…  I also believe that there’s a lot of foreign influence within the Republican party and among “conservative” sites, but they’re harder to discern, because they wrap themselves in the American flag.

The Democratic Party is a bunch of disparate factions, whose only unifying glue is their rabid hatred of the right.  The Republican Party used to be fairly unified on foreign policy and some social conservative planks, so that even with fissures, they were touting The Constitution.  Then the Tea Party (red flag with that movement imo) came along to divide the Republican Party.  This election cycle a leftover Marxist set out to fracture the Democratic Party and a populist, con man was recruited to demolish the GOP in a “GOP Insurgency”.  This masterpiece agitprop theater, that was the 2016 Election, had massive influence for sure, in fact, I suspect that both of our political parties were dupes, because we’ve been conditioned in our rabid partisan responses by mass media, like some Pavlovian lapdogs.

I quoted The Last Refuge blog many times and although I didn’t like some of the comments there when I first saw their site – using the Andrew Breitbart aura and claiming to use crowdsourcing to expose information that the mainstream media didn’t report, I paid attention to their articles.  I was looking for a way to expose my story and this site did come up with a lot of information on the black grievance industry – Treyvon, Mike Brown, etc., but I noticed comments that were racist and did not get challenged or moderated.  I was banned from posting for commenting on historical facts about the Islamic Golden Era, because supposedly saying the Islamic world ever had a “golden era” is verboten.   So, when Trump entered the race, the Last Refuge blog morphed into Trump Polling Update Central and that raised a huge red flag with me.

The omnipresent polling hype has been carefully cultivated to herd Americans to conforming to whatever majority opinion the Left & media are selling.

All Americans, but especially those who revere The Constitution, should argue principles on merits, not using poll numbers.  Trump was sold as “winning in all the polls” and  herding Republicans into “don’t you have to support the winner”, based on media-manufactured opinion cascades created by BILLIONS of dollars in free media, with endless rallies reported live and in their entirety.

Pamphlet Debates in 140 characters…

Started another plastic canvas tissue box cover – 2 sides done and working on the 3rd side.  This one is for my friend, Marrietta, in AZ, who is an expert quilter, talented maker of beadwork jewelry, all around creative needle-worker, and the maker of fantastic potholders:wp-1475350243889.jpg

I used bolder colors than the picture with the pattern, because, unlike me, she’s not a “pink person.  I love pink, it’s one of my favorite colors.  True story – decades ago we were discussing repainting the living room walls and since my husband defers to me on decorating and because he’s color-blind, I sold him on painting the living room walls a lovely rose color.  It wasn’t bubblegum pink, but a more dignified pink color.  I told him “rose” is not “pink”.  As he painted, he kept saying, “Are you sure this isn’t pink?”  I kept a straight face and said, “NO, it’s “rose”!”  All the pictures and decorations on the walls popped with that rose color in the background and it sure beat that standard off-white color the walls were originally.  The next time we painted the walls, he insisted it was his turn to pick the color and it was back to boring – English eggshell was the name of that blah off-white color.

On to politics – the Left’s push to discredit the electoral college continues.  A big component of their talking points is that the electoral college is racist and a remnant of slavery.  Well, since The Constitution was written when slavery was legal, not only in the South, but also in the North too, abolishing slavery was not a central issue to the debates on The Constitution. Sure, there was a budding abolitionist movement in the late 1700s, but the overarching goal of the framers of The Constitution was to unite the States and create a federal framework.

I grew up in PA and as my husband always says, “They’re a bunch of Quakers!” (although my family was Lutheran/Reformed).  PA was where the first abolitionist society in America,  Society for the Relief of Free Negroes Unlawfully Held in Bondage, formed in 1775.  It was founded by Quakers, in fact, Thomas Paine, one of America’s greatest “Domestic Propagandists” (to borrow President Obama’s terminology), was a founding member of the group.

William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania, was a Quaker and to get a feel for Quaker moral conscience, you can read his work, Some Fruits of Solitude.

The British colonial experience in early America was an amazing lab of real-life experiments in various governmental forms and societal orders.  Supreme Court Justice, John Marshall, who largely defined America’s Supreme Court, took on the task of writing a biography of George Washington, which resulted in a 5-volume set, titled, The Life of George Washington.  The first volume goes into finely detailed history of the explorations in government in early America.  To understand how at the end of the 1700s, Americans were forging ahead with a revolutionary new government, the history of the colonial governmental experiments will give you a broader view.  Here is a free online copy of Volume 1.

Now, on to the electoral college debate.  Since most states had legal slavery, not just Southern states, although some abolitionist sentiments were percolating in colonial America, when the founders, who had forged together The Articles of Confederation as a government framework during the American Revolution, met in 1787 to draft The Constitution of the United States, their intent was to draft an entirely new governmental framework – a constitutional federal republic.

The Articles of Confederation were felt to be in need of improvement.  One of the key failings in the articles, was the same failing of many previous mutual defense agreements between states throughout the 1700s, it did nothing to provide for a unified defense.  In many agreements between states, in previous decades, requests by one state for militias from another state to assist in military defense needs, were ignored, tardy or insufficient to repel attacks. States often didn’t live up to their pledged defense agreements.  The early American frontier was a battle front, with attacks from French and Indians in the north and Spanish and more Indians in the south.  The founders had just fought the Revolutionary War, so the intent of drafting The Constitution was to create a stronger union and a national defense structure.

How the framers of The Constitution sold their revolutionary new governmental framework was through Pamphlet Debates, which were a common form of political debate in colonial times.  The most famous pamphlet debates on The Constitution are called The Federalist Papers, where three writers, John Jay, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison, using pen names, energetically set forth to sell America on The Constitution they were writing.  Other Americans argued mightily against their radical new form of government, some in its entirety, and some only argued against certain aspects of it.

In today’s factionalized America, President Obama referred to people supporting the electoral college online as “Domestic Propagandists”, using a tone you’d expect to be reserved for calling people “domestic terrorists”. Online, anytime anyone posts an opposing viewpoint or makes mincemeat of an opposing viewpoint, the person is labeled a “troll”.  It’s time for more people to make their case, in a vigorous national debate, if they want to amend The Constitution.  Some flim-flam, spin-cycle media blitz in a hyped “crisis” mode won’t work for the Dems, who are pushing this only to delegitimize Trump’s winning the presidency.

The electoral college was designed to promote states sovereignty and afford proportional representation among states, so that less populated states would not be marginalized by more populous states.  This idea that the founders were all enthused about “popular votes” is nonsense, since some states only allowed land-owners to vote.  Slaves were used only to pad the census numbers to give southern states more power and women were not allowed to vote at all. The idea to promote states soverignty, the concept of federalism,  is encapsulated in the 10th Amendment to The Constitution:

The thing about America, that should hearten all Americans, is we live in a country where we are free to have opposing views.  We are free to criticize our government and elected officials, without fear of reprisals too.

So, if the Left wants to abolish the electoral college, let the free, open, spirited debate begin.

The American colonies, in essence,  were business ventures, set-up to operate under a British legal structure, but the charter-holder had control of appointing whom would administer the law within the colony.  In some colonies, the crown directly appointed an administrator for the colony.  The colonial administrators varied widely in leadership ability, legal knowledge, experience and also administrative talent. However, the actual American settlers who embarked on setting up the colonies (business ventures) were almost exclusively Christians of various denominations and their Christian faith defined every aspect of their communities.

Stop the Insanity

Finished the 4th side for my next tissue box cover.  I like this side the best.

With the desperate “Hillary or Bust” talking points in the past few weeks, the lame brained “do-over election” seemed to be the most bizarre, but never let an existential threat to Hillary Clinton’s  “First Female President” dream go to waste.  Look, I warned that she will do ANYTHING to become president and it sure looks like she’s got Clinton, Democratic Party, and Obama machines behind her effort to instigate a coup and overturn a legitimate election.  They will fail, because we still have The Constitution. However, in the process, after 8 years of abusing executive power, President Obama appears to be joining the “Hillary or Bust” effort by corrupting the CIA, where “unnamed” officials are floating “intelligence” with no proof.  Today there are “reports” that Putin was directly involved in managing the email hacks – no proof offered.

To show how corrupt this is, well, these unnamed sources in the CIA are leaking this information to the media, but refused to appear before the House Intelligence Committee this week and answer questions under oath about this supposedly new intel, with direct links to the Russians.   It’s a total sham the Obama administration is participating in – trying to manipulate the American people into buying into subverting The Constitution and a legitimate election.
So, I went back to tweeting and here are some from today:

There are “experts” discussing ways to fight Russian “influence operations” today and their ideas are truly frightening – banning RT from broadcasting and  policing “fake news”.

We need to fight for FREE speech, it is our strongest weapon against  foreign”influence operations”.

What to do is not rocket science:

An American people educated on and firmly grounded in respect for The Constitution of the United States of America is the best defense

Teach our children CIVIC VIRTUE in our schools, colleges and universities

Resist all the Obama administration fear-mongering about Russian influence operations. Don’t let the media feeding frenzy selling Clinton/Dem/Obama machine talking points scare you.  We are strong enough to resist “influence operations” without some new government program or censorship.  Just think for yourself, question media and partisan”facts” vociferously.  Be cheerful and fearless about standing up and defending American principles and The Constitution.

It’s simple – an America united on American principles isn’t vulnerable to foreign influence operations.

Queen Hillary’s failing coup…

Here’s a rundown of the Clinton/Dem/Colluding Media talking points I’ve seen, being hysterically repeated on Twitter and various news sites in the last few days:

  • “Fake News” is a dire threat and only certain (Clinton colluding) media can be trusted to report “real” news.
  • Various incantations on popular vote should rule over electoral college – from the dramatically escalating popular vote total for Hillary (likely embellished) to contorted legal reasoning, to crap like Nate Silver tweeted some tripe that Hillary only lost in 4 states by 1%, so without the Russian hacking she’d likely have won – so based on a hypothetical situation, he created imaginary polling statistics, that he’s presenting as serious analysis???
  • More Comey attacks – Harry Reid claimed Comey downplayed Russian hacking.
  • Harry Reid claims Trump directly involved with Russian hacking.
  • Electoral college electors need a special CIA briefing on Russian hacking.
  • America needs a do-over election, because of Russian interference in the election.

The liberal media has shed all pretense of being objective journalists, in fact, many are little more than Democratic hacks.  The hysteria over Americans paying attention to Wikileaks over American journalists’ reporting or Democrat mouthpieces speaks not to Americans being idiots, it speaks to people TRUST Wikileaks (a likely Russian front) over American journalists and the liberal media.

Following Twitter, is an exercise in frantic, sore-loser talking points, most bogus or deeply disingenuous, being breathlessly repeated by a cadre of big name “journalists” and news organizations 24/7.  It’s like kids at summer camp, sitting in a circle around a campfire, whispering something in the next person’s ear and saying, “Pass it on!”

President Obama has had numerous rappers at the White House. Hillary had Beyonce and Jay Z campaigning with her, but Kanye West showing up at Trump Tower this morning represents some new low in lack of seriousness about the presidency, according to the likes of Andrea Mitchell.  I thought she was traveling with Hillary’s campaign, but guess she missed seeing Beyonce and Jay Z…

I think Trump will be a disaster as President.  I believe he’s very corrupt.  However, I thought the same things about President Obama and America survived.  I believe the same things about Hillary too, so I take solace in the FACT that America is much more than our President and we are still a very blessed and fortunate people, because we are FREE.  There are millions of wonderful people in America and thankfully most of us encounter them and not these corrupt journalists and shady politicians in our everyday lives.  We still are free to go about our daily lives, to dream, to set off on new adventures and to hope and dream.   For me, needlework is a stress-reliever, so I’m stitching away… another tissue box cover – three sides done since Sunday:

I have a feeling the Trump years will be very productive stitching years for me, lol.  Oh, the little yarn tails on the top center are just my marking the top, while I stitch, so I know which side is the top when I set my sewing down and then go back to it.

Trump worries me, but the corrupt Clinton/Dem/Media cabal scare the crap out of me.  The Russian hacking/ interference is bad, but so far there’s no evidence they tampered with ballot boxes, so the election is legitimate – end of conversation!  The Dems with this recount fiasco, pushing the propaganda that the popular vote should count and not the electoral college, and now the desperation pitch for a do-over election, ostensibly because of Russian interference are trying to supplant the constitutional process all to prop up a very corrupt woman, who will do anything to be President.  And her enablers are ready to discard The Constitution to assist her.  I would have supported legal efforts to dump Trump as the Republican candidate before the election, but the general election is THE election, according to The Constitution and that’s FINAL!

Donald Trump deserves the opportunity to take office and be the President of the United States.  The Americans who voted for him deserve that too.  And frankly, respect for The Constitution demands we follow the rules.  If he is a disaster, there are constitutional remedies for that too, but it’s ridiculous to talk about impeaching him before he’s even taken office (which some leftist loons are proposing).

Yesterday, John Podesta, who fell for a common phishing scam and gave the hackers his email password, supported a demand for a special CIA briefing on Russian hacking for electors.  One of the chief organizers of this elector effort is Nancy Pelosi’s daughter.  The electors don’t have security clearances, so anything the CIA can tell them, they can tell all of America – so cut the drama queen act and just have the CIA release the information.  My bet is neither the Obama White House nor the CIA will do this, because they’ve exaggerated the facts.

Even President Obama has gotten into the Russian hacking propaganda blitz and it’s revolting.  The Dems are demanding new investigations into Russian hacking, despite the fact there already are ongoing Congressional investigations into Russian hacking.  Prior to this election hysteria, the Obama administration tried to downplay the Russian hacking threat.

So, the administration, where widespread use of private email was common practice, including by President Obama, now wants to champion fighting cyber-threats???  Be for real, the first line of defense against cyber-attacks is good online practices… like using SECURE systems for government business.

President Obama used his private gmail account to email Hillary at her private server email address.  Huma Abedin was sure the Obama/Hillary email the FBI showed her, which was part of a classified CHAIN, had to be classified.  Let’s start by finding out what kind of information President Obama was sending via his private gmail account, before we get too excited about the Russian hacking.

The Democrats are in mass hysteria about investigations into Russian hacking, well, sure let’s find out who they hacked, how they hacked and what was done to prevent their hacking.

It’s hard not to laugh at Democratic mouthpieces hysterically demanding an email investigation as the last ditch effort to beg, borrow or steal the election for Hillary.  The clock is ticking…to December 19th.

If these people weren’t able to wield so much influence in America, I’d be laughing, because was there ever a more ridiculous leader to put forth as tough enough to take on Russian hacking, than Hillary Clinton???  She is the Democrats’ champion on facing America’s cyber-threats???

She couldn’t even keep track of her own blackberries, she had her Filipino maid printing out classified emails in the SCIF in her DC home, she and her State Dept. staff were sending classified information on her home-brew server, and she believed her private email server was secure, because the Secret Service protect her home…  If foreign intelligence agencies around the globe aren’t laughing at the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton and fools like Michael Morell, I would be shocked:

“Former CIA acting director Michael Morell called the intelligence agency’s conclusion that Russia meddled in the U.S. presidential election to help President-elect Donald Trump “the political equivalent of 9/11.”

“A foreign government messing around in our elections is, I think, an existential threat to our way of life. To me, and this is to me not an overstatement, this is the political equivalent of 9/11,” Morell said in an interview posted Sunday on The Cipher Brief. “It is huge and the fact that it hasn’t gotten more attention from the Obama Administration, Congress, and the mainstream media, is just shocking to me.””

Finally, the Dems are on board with investigating emails, so by all means investigate the Russians hacking EMAILS!  Wikileaks exposed massive, corrupt media collusion with the DNC and Hillary campaign.   It’s way past time for the full exposure of the infamous SPIN cycle, that requires massive media collusion to keep Clinton and Democratic Party talking points controlling the 24/7 news cycle.

The Russians are probably sitting on Hillary’s entire server contents, so let’s probe that deeply too and while we’re investigating, let’s find out if the Russians or other hostile actors hacked into the Weiner/Abedin laptop, with it’s reported 650,000 emails.   Hop to it Republicans… the Dems finally want an email investigation, so demand a thorough investigation into the full scope of the Russians hacking emails:-)   What the Dems may not realize is the Russians will play their hand too and assuredly Wikileaks will be doing more email dumps, resulting in more corruption will be out in the open.

Considering my prognostications on this election turned out wrong, as I believed that no matter what, Hillary Clinton would do anything to become President, here goes with some Monday morning quarterbacking.  I never envisioned a set of events, to include an avalanche of emails (Hillary, DNC, Podesta, Abedin, etc, etc.),  a reopened FBI investigation, or massive blowback against the Clintons and liberal media for running an over-the-top scorched earth attack against Trump, nor did I envision how Trump masterfully uses Twitter to bait the Clinton machine and the “elite” liberal media (our esteemed “journalists”).

At this late date, NO ONE can pinpoint to what degree these factors played into the election result and beyond that the two candidates personalities assuredly had a great deal of influence too.  So, here, in no particular order, are some thoughts:

Dastardly Russian Interference

Let’s be for real here – President Obama has spent 8 long years groveling, drawing down, leading from behind and showing American weakness, in ways both great and small.  Every world leader, long ago, realized that President Obama is a waffler and when he does decide to use force, it’s haphazard, ineffectual, strategically-myopic and completely detached from sound military operational principles.  He sets timelines based on political optics and domestic political concerns, not on military or strategic needs.  He is feckless, malleable and irresolute when deciding to use military force and beyond that, he lacks any sense of military history, military strategy, military capabilities, realities and limits.  In plain English, he, and his closest advisers are completely clueless on how to project American strength.

The Obama administration, through feckless foreign policy & military actions, helped create power vacuums across the Mid-East.  And on the big picture level, President Obama’s weak leadership globally created a gaping power vacuum there too.  Into that power vacuum, Vladimir Putin galloped and he has tried to solidify his position as a strong global leader.

When Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, let’s review here: She tried to launch a Russian reset that fell flat, she oversaw several catastrophic diplomatic disasters, which she bungled.  From the Arab Spring and touting the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, to the Libyan debacle, where she came, she saw and she declared he died…  To Benghazi.

Also while she was Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton set-up and used her own home-brew email server, that lacked even the security of gmail.  She deliberately decided to use that private, unsecured server for her work emails and SHE allowed other government employees to send highly classified information on her unsecured email server.  She also sent classified information on that server too.  On top of all that, instead of relying on vetted US intelligence information, as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton decided to utilize her own ad hoc  “intelligence” sources, like Sidney Blumenthal and the late Tyler Drumheller.

Vladimir Putin has run circles around President Obama, John Kerry and Hillary Clinton.  The Russians are doing what they’ve always done – work to sow internal divides in America, work to spread disinformation/misinformation/damaging information, work to discredit American democratic governance and institutions, sow racial/class enmity, and fuel partisan divides.  Perhaps, they’ve upped the ante, not so much because of some Russian personality preference for Trump, but because after decades of deepening political and social divides, the Russians might believe the time is ripe to create more chaos into the American systems.

Perhaps, the Russian “interference” is more big picture and not centered on “Either Trump or Hillary”.   Even if Putin’s goal was to “help” get Trump elected, well, so far there’s no evidence the Russians tampered with ballot boxes.

The Wikileaks leaks assuredly were meant to damage Hillary and FOX News has been a non-stop Trump propaganda factory throughout Trump’s entire campaign.  However, while many intelligence people assert that Wikileaks is a Russian front operation (and I believe that too), there’s no direct proof that I have ever seen.  Just like there’s no damning emails or evidence to prove what Putin’s intentions were.

Even if he intended to “help” Trump, if the mainstream media was reliable and trusted, Americans would not be trusting Wikileaks over American news outlets.

Popular vote over Electoral College

The news media hysteria about “fake news” last week and the Russian “interference” this week, smack more of last ditch efforts to overthrow the electoral college.  On Twitter in the past couple days these ideas are being trial-ballooned.  Post-election massive media efforts to convince Americans that the electoral college is unAmerican and that the popular vote should prevail failed to gain traction.  It’s amazing to me that in the past couple weeks some news media peeps keep repeating the Hillary popular vote and in the past two weeks, the number jumped from a million and a half to approaching 3 million.  None of these “journalists” tweeting that repeatedly have cited a source to back that number.  Now, fabricating votes to spread a false talking point would be REAL interference in the election!

Fake News

After the “Ditch the Electoral College” effort failed to gain any real traction, the Clinton machine/Democratic Party machine/Liberal News media launched this mass hysteria about the dangers of “fake news”.  Since the liberal media spreads a lot of “fake news”, to include running Clinton machine propaganda without question, well, “fake” is a very subjective term and “news” hardly describes much of what “journalists” produce.

The advent of the internet turned many “journalists” into lazy hacks, who spend more time on Twitter retweeting each other’s crap than they do busting their butts running down NEWS stories or fact-checking.  Instead, many of them rely on fact-checker sites, as if these sites are all unbiased seekers of  “facts”.  There’s a great deal of lazy, arrogant, partisan-driven “reporting” going on by way too many hard news reporters.

The sanctimony about “fake news” by many of these “journalists” is laughable.

You Reap What You Sow

Fueling this Russian interference idea is unlikely to change anything electorally, since the Electoral College votes December 19th and while the Clinton hardliners may believe they can overthrow that, let’s just say, NOT LIKELY!  For the Clinton camp/Democratic Party/corrupt liberal media the hype aids in their effort to delegitimize Trump’s presidency, before it even begins.  This is a repeat of the GWB derangement syndrome.  For the Russians, the hype helps bolster Russian clout, if the Americans are running wily-nilly, ranting, “The Russians are coming!”  It’s all positive for Russian propaganda efforts.

So, the hysteria about the email leaks by Wikileaks, well, many of these DNC and Podesta emails show corruption: Donna Brazille railed about not trusting these leaked emails, but she never produced a single shred of evidence to back that up, while Wikileaks has agencies verifying these emails haven’t been altered.  These emails also show overt efforts of the Clinton campaign to cheat AND to collude with the media to spread lies.

CNN altered a Trump tweet, by removing the word “Crooked” from the tweet, when they aired it.  Why?  CBS doctored a Bill Clinton interview, taking out a few seconds of his answer, to change the context of what he said.  CBS responded that they edited it because of time constraints…  This election has exposed many in the news media as nothing more than shills for the Clintons and Democratic Party machines.

The Comey Factor

Comey reopened the Clinton email server investigation with the discovery of 650,000 emails on the Weiner/Abedin laptop. The Dems went crazy trying to shut down the investigation and they succeeded.  The all out PR blitz, with massive media collusion, to silence the FBI was stunning and the vitriol aimed at the FBI by top Democrat lawmakers, pundits was disgraceful.  Yet, now the Dems are outraged that Trump is dissing a clearly cherry-picked release of a CIA report, with no named sources, but in October they were calling the FBI corrupt Trump fanboys…  Comey knew reopening the investigation was almost a suicidal move, yet he did so, and it’s time we know the details of what these reported  FBI investigations into Clinton corruption, in four states were all about.

Let’s recap the media’s role in the 2016 election

I’ve had niggling suspicions about FOX News being part of a foreign front operation for many years, so toss me in the conspiracy theorist looney bin.  I have no concrete proof, just a lot of unsettling things about how FOX News agitated throughout this election for Trump, how they worked to fuel the Tea Party movement, how certain “personalities” on their network work to fuel the far-right.  Let me repeat, I have no proof, just uneasy feelings watching FOX News.

When I turn on MSNBC , their news and opinion leans heavily to the  far-left ideologically. CNN leans to the Clinton and Democratic Party machine.  BUT during the GOP primary, CNN, FOX, MSNBC and ABC, CBS, were running the “GOP Insurgency Show”.  The Washington Post reportedly devoted 20 reporters full-time to digging up dirt on Trump.

The “GOP Insurgency Show” was the Clinton’s corrupt collusion with their friends in the media to promote Trump in the primary (the so-called Pied Piper strategy as a Podesta email described it).  FOX News never stopped running the Trump Show, which again caused me a niggling feeling watching so much of the blatant propaganda effort.  Hanity and Pirro should have had on Trump cheer-leading outfits.

Without rehashing all of this again, the TRUTH is a lot of “journalists” helped gather up Trump dirt during the GOP primary and they sat on it until the general election.  The Alicia Machado hit was orchestrated with media collusion, to the point when Hillary dumped that Machado hit at the end of that debate – several media already had stories written, ready to run.  The Trump “grabbing them” video was orchestrated too.  The Trump dirt media avalanche, facilitated  by so many in the news media, to assist the Clinton campaign scorched earth messaging to bury Trump, also helped expose the corrupt media collusion and backfired.  These same “journalists” worked to bury Hillary’s email scandal and questions about the Clinton Foundation and they jumped on the bandwagon to attack the FBI.

The hysterics about “fake news” and now the Russian “interference” look like desperate, sore loser gambits.

Investigations I Want To See

I am fine with an investigation into Russian hacking and Russian efforts to interfere in our elections, but let’s not stop there.

Something smelled wrong with James Comey reopening the email server investigation so close to the election.  He announced the investigation found nothing new, as top Dems were ranting about FBI Trump fanboys, the FBI leaking to hurt Hillary, and assuredly enormous pressure from the Obama White House was exerted to silence the FBI again.  So, I want to know more details about the break-down of the Weiner laptop emails.  How many of the reported 650,000 emails belonged to Huma, how many were classified State Department work emails?   Were any of these emails shared with people not authorized to receive them?  Was that laptop hacked?

The State Department released a Hillary email, which showed Chelsea received classified information directly from Hillary, on the home-brew server.  Why was Hillary sending Chelsea classified information?  That email had a CHAIN of top Obama administration national security officials.  Did they know Hillary was using a private server?

The NY Post reported that Hillary’s Filipino maid, Marina, printed out classified emails for Hillary in her DC home.  All the circumstances surrounding this maid having access to the SCIF and classified information should be investigated!    What happened to all the copies Hillary was forever having printed out for her?  Where are they?

And of course, there are still the unanswered questions about David Kendall’s thumb drive of the Clinton server, what was found on Cheryl Mills laptop, who was present for Hillary’s FBI interview,  and many other loose threads.

Of course, during those few days when the FBI investigation was reopened, reports surfaced about ongoing FBI investigations  of the Clinton Foundation in four states.  What happened with those investigations?

I say, “YES!!! Let’s investigate!!!”  The more the merrier!

The Queen of Mendacity wages war against “fake news”

Oh my, Hillary, the Queen of Mendacity, wife of former President BJ Mendacity,  has a new cause to champion…  the dangers of fake news and propaganda…

The Clintons mainstreamed their SPIN cycle, which was a full-blown propaganda operation (information warfare), as I’ve said many, many times.  Their talking points messaging and memes were often bold-faced lies.  Their SPIN cycle only worked with massive amounts of media collusion, because the SPIN only works when it dominates the 24/7 news cycle.  This leftist media collusion advanced over the years to the Obama years, where the Obama administration goes with full-blown “narratives”, that are fabricated stories, which their friends in the media present as NEWS.

Hillary lamenting about “fake news” and dangerous “propaganda” should be taken as seriously as her “landing in Bosnia under sniper fire” or her BIG lie explanation of her home-brew private server, which she said contained NO classified information…

Hard to decide who is more ridiculous… the mainstream media mouthpieces, who have no credibility, due to their over-the-top scorched earth hits against Trump in this past election, or the Queen of Mendacity whining about “fake news”.

The hypocrisy of these sanctimonious journalists, lecturing about how Trump’s lying is way more dangerous, smacks you in the face.  Their frantic pleadings  that “fake news” must be stopped seem surreal, when many of these very same people happily participated in gathering dirt on Trump and sitting on it throughout the primary.  Many of these same sleazy “journalists” willingly coordinated their “news” reporting and messaging with the Clinton campaign.  CNN is a joke – they actually doctored a photo of a Trump tweet (removing the word “crooked”) for a broadcast.  CBS edited Bill Clinton’s interview to change the context of what he said.

Assuredly, it is disturbing that many Americans trust Wikileaks, a Russian propaganda front, over mainstream American news outlets, but the reason isn’t because these people are idiots.  The mainstream media hasn’t just been benignly showing “liberal bias” for decades.  They’ve been engaged in deliberate, wholesale, corrupt collusion with the Democratic Party, the Clinton political machine and liberal activists.

Since most reporters do very little hunting down stories, but instead rely on online cut and pasting of each other’s “scoops”, this latest media-generated crisis (the omnipresent “fake news”) looks like another Democratic operative-inspired talking points propaganda effort to me.

Yes, I believe the “fake news” hysteria is a political gimmick that Democratic operatives and their friends in the media are colluding to SPIN.   They are the FAKES!

Tales from Chappaqua

Oh my, Saturday Night Live isn’t just skewering President-elect Donald Trump.  There’s so much poetic justice in con man Trump beating the Clintons, using their scorched earth, spin cycle messaging against them, even though I worry about how an egomaniacal, corrupt, con man like Trump will handle the immense power and responsibility of the Presidency.  However, my trepidation about Donald Trump comes nowhere near my fears about Hillary Clinton possessing that much power:-)

Watching the liberal hack journalists going into paroxysms about “fake news” brings a smile to my face too.  Listening to their hysterical warnings about the dangers of “fake news”, when they have spent their careers being shameless purveyors of first, the Clinton spin, the GWB derangement memes, the Obama narratives and then they gleefully went along with the Bill Clinton orchestrated “GOP Insurgency”, propelling Trump as the “winner”, all while sitting on piles of Trump dirt throughout the primary.  The mainstream news media lost its credibility long ago and it’s entertaining watching their ominous warnings and shameless fearmongering about “fake news”.

Oh yes, Trump lying is so much more dangerous than the mountains of Clinton lies, the Obama administration writing totally fabricated “narratives” or Susan Rice going on national TV and proclaiming Bowe Bergdahl served with “honor and distinction” or the made-up “hands up, don’t shoot” lie…  Guess, one of these media truth-tellers needs to pen a 50 shades of lying for the deplorables to become educated on the nuances of “how the media screws with the truth”

The Republican Party lost by allowing their party to be hijacked by a Clinton dupe.  Hillary Clinton lost by being out-sleazed by a Clinton dupe.  The news media lost even more by being exposed as nothing more than Democratic Party hacks.  Of course, the American people lost, but frankly, if the best Americans aspire to was either one of these two very corrupt candidates, well, America deserves to live with the consequences. I feel confident, we’ll survive a Trump presidency.  Perhaps, Americans will even wake-up to how dangerous it is to accept corrupt politicians and a lying, corrupt news media too.

The marvel is that the Clintons never envisioned that Trump could win and seemed so arrogantly confident, that many times during the campaign, it looked like Hillary was just going through the motions of campaigning.  She acted liked the campaign was just an unpleasant chore to get to her coronation (you might ask, why aren’t I 50 points ahead…hahaha).   While the media criticized Trump dialing in interviews to the cable network shows, Hillary was given a pass on hiding from the media most of her campaign.

Aside from losing the election, the Clintons just lost their position and power in the Democratic Party and their prestige globally. And THAT means, they won’t be able to rake in the millions of dollars from their foreign patrons effortlessly now.  All those foreign power-brokers, who paid top dollar to the Clinton Foundation in the hopes of securing access in a Hillary Clinton White House, will be taking their money elsewhere.

Will the Clintons be scaling back their lavish lifestyle?  Not likely, but their entourage may get much smaller, very quickly.  However, it looks like Hillary’s loyal aide, Huma Abedin, will be scaling back her lifestyle.  I wonder if her mother is scheming to find Huma a rich Arab to latch onto if she ditches Weiner, who is reported to be broke.

All in all, although a Trump presidency fills me with unease, the prospect of a Hillary presidency filled me with stark terror.  And if they are still searching for Hil in the woods of Chappaqua, follow the trail of sour grapes at your own peril is my advice… a vindictive, raging witch can be a dangerous, oh to borrow a Samantha Power line, “monster”.

Hard Choices, rofl, rofl, rofl.   Yes, I am enjoying her loss immensely:-)

Reporters actually roped off by Hillary Clinton’s campaign in July 2015, but alas now CNN’s Christiane Amanpour is all aflutter that Trump might put the media in cages:

“Fake” news fears abound

Had to take a few days off from blogging due to a sinus infection, accompanied by a terrible sinus headache that wouldn’t quit.  A trip to the doctor and meds have me back to feeling like I’ll survive:-)

The political situation continues the same gloomy trend.  The Clinton/Obama/Democratic Party machines went full-throttle into Trump Derangement Syndrome, with endless liberal media collusion to hype Trump as evil incarnate.  Most of this “news” coverage does more to expose the media’s corrupt collusion with liberal politicians and ideology than to does to expose actual Trump corruption.  The media now moved past the “boy who cried wolf” one too many times and hardly anyone believes their histrionics and hysterical warnings anymore.

The above clip is liberal flamethrower, Bill Maher, admitting he went over the top demonizing GW Bush, Romney and McCain, but hey, trust him now on his demonizing Trump.

Facebook is on a new crusade to stamp out “fake” news, which should be interesting considering the “real” news media, through Wikileaks leaks,  has been exposed actively colluding with the Clinton campaign repeatedly.  CNN went so far as to doctor a photo of a Trump tweet on their broadcast media, removing the word “Crooked” from his tweet:

Now, the hand-wringers on the left, trying to make sense of Trump’s win, have focused on “fake news” that was “pro-Trump” and “anti-Hillary” on facebook as a big part of the “problem”.  Jennifer Palmeiri was on Twitter warning people not to trust Wikileaks, when the reality is because of decades of liberal media becoming a political tool of the Clinton “SPIN cycle”, many Americans would trust a Russian front over American news organizations.  The mainstream media lost most of its credibility, because there wasn’t just “liberal bias”, there was corrupt, deliberate media collusion.

Irony knows no bounds these days, with President Obama, King of made-up NARRATIVES, waxing on about the dangers of “fake news” and “propaganda”:

Yes. Mr. President, I agree, “fake news” does threaten democracy!  And you spent 8 years spreading your NARRATIVES!

The mainstream media bought into treating  the Clinton”spin cycle” as legitimate political PR, in the 90s, rather than exposing it as:

Dangerous political propaganda that turned private news corporations into little more than party political tools to “saturate the media messaging with political talking points”.

Wikileaks, thus far, has over a decade record of reporting factual information (sure it’s stolen information, but so far they haven’t been caught doctoring the information).

The Clinton SPIN cycle advanced to the Obama NARRATIVES, where the Obama administration writes completely fabricated stories – like the obscure video causing the attack in Benghazi, like Bowe Bergdahl served with honor and distinction, like 50 military intelligence officials in Iraq complaining that higher-ups were doctoring their reports to fit the Obama narrative:

President Obama still maintains high approval ratings and the liberal media establishment still loves him and works feverishly to paint any criticisms of his very corrupt administration as being racist attacks or coming from “haters”.   The thing that alarmed me about President Obama is the same thing that alarms me about President-elect Trump -they both managed to defeat the Clinton SPIN cycle, with their own even more corrupt scorched earth campaigns.

With President Obama, the SPIN morphed into NARRATIVES, with the complete fawning adoration of the mainstream media, becoming willing fabulists selling the Obama administration fabricated stories.

Trump won his “GOP Insurgency” primary with billions of dollars in free media from the liberal media, who intended to help Hillary in the general, by promoting what the Clinton camp deemed the “Pied Piper” primary candidates.   He won the general with savvy social media usage, large rally rabble-rousing, massive leaking from a Russian front organization and Hillary Clinton’s terrible campaign messaging.   Where Trump goes from here remains to be seen, but I for one am not optimistic.

Trump and Obama beat the Clinton SPIN machine by being more corrupt and willing to wage no holds barred scorched earth campaigns.  Trump was willing to say anything and throw and repeat any dirt, regardless if there was any truth to it, in fact he is very comfortable to ad lib, on the spot, and make up “facts” or to repeat internet “stories”, without any “fact-checking”.  This bodes poorly for a US presidency and even more poorly for honest government.  You can’t drain the swamp when you are a monster of that swamp.  Trump has been an avid participant in public corruption for decades.

Sure, it’s fine to be optimistic and believe Trump’s going to be a transformative president, who will make America great again, but I believe that character defines each and every one of us.  While many reporters were busily trying to pin down Trump’s political ideology when he entered the 2016 race, I was busily trying to pin down Trump’s character.

Immediately it became apparent that he and Hillary Clinton have much in common, just like Trump has much in common with Bill Clinton and President Obama.  Their main common character trait is all of them are pathological liars, who will say and do anything to promote themselves.   Lots of people get hostile when terms like “sociopath” get tossed out and attacks of how that’s so wrong to use that “clinical term” without being a mental health professional are sure to follow.  Well, since this is a personal blog, not a news site, I am going to say that in my opinion, I believe that Obama is an extreme political ideologue, who will say or do anything to promote his political agenda and legacy, but I believe that the Clintons and Trump are extreme sociopaths, who will say or do anything to promote themselves.

I believe the problem with extreme sociopaths is it’s hard to predict what events and catalysts will push them over the edge to becoming uncontrolled psychopaths. That’s my opinion.  Unchecked power is poisonous to people who do not believe rules apply to them.

Back in August 2015, I wrote:

Last week I bought one of Trump’s books, as I mentioned before, and I read it.  Assuredly, Trump offered many interesting insights into, as the book’s title stated, “TRUMP: How to Get Rich”.  The pride he takes in his children comes across and he offers some worthwhile advice on investing and negotiating, but trying to get to the character of who exactly is Donald Trump, well, he’s a man who has chapters in his book like “Be Strategically Dramatic”, “Sometimes You Still Have To Screw Them”, and “Sometimes You Have To Hold a Grudge”, replete with examples from his life and his guiding principles. Here are some quotes (page 138):

“When somebody hurts you, just go after them as viciously and as violently as you can.  Like it says in the Bible, an eye for an eye.”

Be paranoid.  I know this observation doesn’t make any of us sound very good, but let’s face the fact that it’s possible that even your best friend wants to steal your spouse and your money.”

The chapter on holding a grudge is even more interesting, because Trump relates how for years he had donated huge amounts of money to NY governor, Mario Cuomo and when he called Cuomo to ask for a favor from Cuomo’s son, Andrew, who was running the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Mario Cuomo refused to do the favor (which Trump doesn’t explain in detail other than to say it was an appropriate favor involving attention to a detail). Trump blew up and for any who are confused with Trump’s vendetta against Megyn Kelly on Twitter, calling her a bimbo last night or his refusing to entertain a question by Jorge Ramos from Univision this evening, well, this chapter on holding a grudge (page 142) explains it.  Trump called in a political favor believing it was owed to him, because he donated a lot of money to Mario Cuomo  (crony capitalism is what most people call this greasing of palms).  Here is how Trump describes the phone call:

“I did the only thing that felt right to me.  I began screaming.  “You son of a bitch!  For years I’ve helped you and never asked for a thing, and when I finally need something, and a totally proper thing at that, you aren’t there for me.  You’re no good.  You’re one of the most disloyal people I’ve known and as far as I’m concerned, you can go to hell.”

My screaming was so loud that two or three people came in from adjoining offices and asked who I was screaming at.  I told them it was Mario Cuomo., a total stiff, a lousy governor, and a disloyal former friend.  Now whenever I see Mario at dinner, I refuse to acknowledge him, talk to him, or even look at him.”

When you hear Trump whining about being treated unfairly, here’s what I believe he means: If you agree with him, fawn over him and puff up his ego, that’s treating him fairly.  If you disagree or criticize him, I believe, he will wage an all out campaign to destroy you.  So, I keep wondering how his character will play in the long, arduous rough and tumble of presidential politics, where being ripped apart by opposition research, pundits and reporters only escalates as the campaign wears on.  We’ve got plenty of rounds to go, so it’s certainly not going to be boring.

Again, has Hillary’s security clearance been revoked yet?

The American media and politicians can abandon important issues without any reflection or commitment to getting at the truth.  A President Trump may be worse than I fear or he may turn out to be a lot better than I ever expected, but the fact remains – he was elected and that’s the reality.  Due to the “GOP Insurgency” during the primary, which was orchestrated by the mainstream (liberal) media giving Trump billions in free media and I firmly believe a great deal of Clinton collusion with the media too, the process was corrupt as all get out, imo.  Be that as it may – Trump was elected in the general.

Now, with Hillary Clinton’s email server and the subsequent news stories that have surfaced, then been quickly squashed, well , there remain some serious concerns about the national security implications.  Yet, those stories disappeared.

Some remaining questions;

1.) Now, that the election is over, has extremely careless Hillary Clinton’s security clearance been revoked yet?  What about the security clearances of her “extremely careless” aides?  You’d think removing access to highly classified information to people with lengthy records of “extremely careless” handling of such information would be an urgent national security action.

2.) Does the FBI have the thumb drive of all the emails from Hillary’s server”

Back on September 9, 2016, I wrote Did I miss the thumb drive in the FBI report:

“I’ve noted facts from the FBI notes in previous posts, but there’s one thing about evidence they received from the Clinton lawyers or from other sources, I did not notice in the FBI notes.  What is the disposition of the thumb drives of the server information, which none other than David E. Kendall, the infamous Clinton cover-up expert, was reported to have in his possession?

July , 30, 2015 – Politico reported:

“Hillary Clinton’s private lawyer has a thumb drive containing classified information from as many as five U.S. intelligence agencies — but the State Department told POLITICO the law firm is taking “appropriate measures” to secure the files.

The agency declined to detail steps made to protect the sensitive information in attorney David Kendall’s possession, but the issue is raising concern among Republicans on Capitol Hill who’ve criticized Clinton’s handling of the email controversy. The thumb drive has copies of emails Clinton kept on a private server while she served as secretary of state, a trove now known to contain classified documents.

The agency told POLITICO that Clinton “does have counsel with clearance.” Kendall, a prominent Williams & Connolly attorney who defended former CIA director David Petraeus against charges of mishandling classified information, declined to comment.

August 5, 2015 – The Blaze reported:

“WASHINGTON (AP) — The FBI has taken possession of thumb drives containing Hillary Clinton’s emails, some of which have been deemed to contain highly sensitive classified information, according to a U.S. official briefed on the matter.

The official was not authorized to be quoted publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.”

Further in this story:

“The U.S. official said the FBI recovered at least two thumb drives containing the emails from Kendall. The drives contain around 30,000 emails that Clinton deemed work-related and turned over to the State Department. She destroyed thousands of others that she said were not work-related.”

Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall, turned over the emails after the FBI determined that he could not remain in possession of the classified information, the official said. The State Department previously had said it was comfortable with Kendall keeping the emails at his Washington law office.”

August 12, 2015 – the Washington Post reported:

“The e-mail server used by Hillary Rodham Clinton when she served as secretary of state was turned over to the FBI late Wednesday afternoon from a private data center in New Jersey, according to an attorney familiar with the transfer.

“It was picked up about 4 p.m.,” said Barbara J. Wells, a Denver lawyer who represents Platte River Networks Inc., a small computer services firm that has managed the Clintons’ private e-mail system since mid-2013.

Wells said her client was contacted by the FBI, which expressed interest in obtaining the old server. The FBI did not have a search warrant or subpoena and did not interview her clients, she said.”

August 25, 2015 – In a CBS News article, Kendall claimed to have a top secret clearance, but claimed it wasn’t for Hillary’s emails:

“Obtaining top secret clearance “was unrelated to the 30,490 e-mails provided to the State Department on December 5, 2014; none of those e-mails was classified,” Kendall wrote to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa. “As I am sure you are aware, it was not until nearly six months later that the first email in this group was retroactively classified as ‘Secret.’”

Kendall wrote that he received top secret clearance in November 2014; additionally, his law partner Katherine Turner obtained top secret clearance from the State Department in December 2014.

Kendall was in possession of a thumb drive that held copies of Clinton’s emails, but the attorney said the State Department gave him guidance for keeping the information secure, and “even provided physical equipment necessary to safeguard the thumb drive at issue.”

Grassley responded that even with his top secret clearance, Kendall did not have the level of authority necessary to possess the sensitive information in the emails in question.”

September 9, 2016  – I missed some of the House Oversight Committee hearing yesterday, so I was just listening to the beginning part.  At minute 35:52, Committee Chairman, Jason Chaffetz asks Patrick Kennedy, the Undersecretary for Management at the State Department, states that the to the best of his knowledge, the FBI took possession of all the electronic information Mr. Kendall had.

I don’t recall reading about the thumb drive(s)  the FBI received in these FBI notes.  Did I miss the part about a thumb drive(s) David  Kendall turned over to the FBI?  And was it one thumb drive or “at least two thumb drives”, as reported by unnamed sources?”

3.) Is anyone investigating the details of Hillary Clinton allowing her Filipino maid, Marina, access to the SCIF in her DC home to print out emails?  Paul Sperry reported in the NY Post on November 6, 2016:

“As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton routinely asked her maid to print out sensitive government emails and documents — including ones containing classified information — from her house in Washington, DC, emails and FBI memos show. But the housekeeper lacked the security clearance to handle such material.

In fact, Marina Santos was called on so frequently to receive emails that she may hold the secrets to emailgate — if only the FBI and Congress would subpoena her and the equipment she used.

Clinton entrusted far more than the care of her DC residence, known as Whitehaven, to Santos. She expected the Filipino immigrant to handle state secrets, further opening the Democratic presidential nominee to criticism that she played fast and loose with national security.

Clinton would first receive highly sensitive emails from top aides at the State Department and then request that they, in turn, forward the messages and any attached documents to Santos to print out for her at the home.

Among other things, Clinton requested that Santos print out drafts of her speeches, confidential memos and “call sheets” — background information and talking points prepared for the secretary of state in advance of a phone call with a foreign head of state.

“Pls ask Marina to print for me in am,” Clinton emailed top aide Huma Abedin regarding a redacted 2011 message marked sensitive but unclassified.”
