Having your cake and eating it too

The U.S. Marine Corps is now under fire for a sex scandal.

At the center of this scandal is a facebook group called Marines United, with 30,000 followers.  Marshall Chiles, a former Marine, spoke out about the good things the group does.  From The Daily Beast:

““Marines United is a group of males coming together who can understand each other. The purpose of the group is to create camaraderie, creating that same feeling that we had when we were all in the military,” he said.”

And:

“Marines United was created with the intention to fill a void in the wake of the multiple scandals, long wait times and claims for compensation that took years to approve by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Chiles said. Additionally, the private Facebook chat room was there to assist struggling veterans and active-duty members who were having thoughts of suicide or just simply struggling with their day-to-day lives.

“Taking out the negative that is overshadowing Marines United right now, there were a lot of positives that came out of the group. You had Go Fund Me pages set up for funerals or just helping out a veteran or service member or a food drive because the VA is not accessible and some veterans have to drive over a hundred miles just to get to a VA hospital,” Chiles said.”

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2017/03/16/marines-united-spokesman-nude-photo-scandal-shows-why-women-shouldn-t-serve.html

On March 6, 2017, CNN reported:

“The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) has opened an investigation into the online posting of potentially hundreds of explicit photos of current and former female Marines and other service members, CNN has confirmed.

A private Facebook group called “Marines United” contained a link to a Google Drive folder, where the photos were being stored, a US defense official told CNN. Members on the site solicited others to submit photos of women without their knowledge. The cloud storage folder has been removed at the request of the military, the official said. It was not clear to the Defense Department how many current and former Marines may be involved in potential wrongdoing. A former Marine originally brought the matter to the attention of the Marine Corps last month.”
U.S. senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, who touts herself as a champion of women in the U.S. military, lashed out at Marine Corps, commandant, General Robert Neller:

“New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand called Neller’s testimony unsatisfactory and called into question actions that have been taken to hold Marines accountable for reports of cyber harassment that date back years.

“I don’t have a good answer for you,” Neller said. “I’m not going to sit here and duck around this thing. I’m not. I’m responsible. I’m the commandant. I own this. And we are going to have to, and I know you’ve heard it before, but we’re going to have to change how we see ourselves and how we do, how we treat each other

Neller addressed subculture that enabled the sexual harassment and exploitation of female Marine. “We all have to commit to getting rid of this perversion of our culture,” he said. “We will take action to remove this stain on our Marine Corps.””

Alas, the Marine Corps leadership faces political pressure by politicians, like Gillibrand, feminist activists (many of them ensconced in the Defense Department civilian positions) and many hard-core feminist service members (most of them in the officer ranks, who view everything through their own career advancement).  What always takes a back seat to feminist objectives, pushed by these feminist “equal opportunity” zealots, is making decisions based on the best war-fighting capabilities.

Modern feminism is a total con game.  It’s a belief system that belies human nature and the real world of male and female interactions.

Modern feminism requires you to set aside all the things you know from experience and pretend that males and females are interchangeable parts in every field of work.

A few weeks back I wrote a “book report”  blog post on Charles Eric Maine’s 1958 dystopian novel, World Without Men, which centered on our world, 5,000 years into the future, that evolved into only female babies being born.  He grounded this idea on birth control creating artificial sterility in women (this was written before The Pill) and over time nature started overcompensating,  by producing more and more females.   Eventually, the situation reached crisis point with so few males being born, that scientists were feverishly working to maintain calm and to figure out ways to keep babies being born.  Eventually, males stopped being produced, but scientists were able to artificially inseminate women, who kept producing all females.  He used the demographic statistic about how after major wars, where many young men die, a larger number of boys are born, to build this plot device around.

Of course, his nightmare scenario hasn’t happened, but many countries, where abortion and birth control drastically reduced family size, a different demographic crisis is taking place.  Many countries don’t have a birth rate to sustain their countries.  In Maine’ novel, a lie is perpetuated to convince women that men became obsolete.   Without men, there are no more wars and  “peace” is maintained… rigid conformity to rules, rigid indoctrination and international committees, that use computer intelligence to help make the “best” decisions to maintain stability.  In this world, women are sent to centers to have babies, when the government informs them it’s their duty to reproduce.  Family structure has been eradicated in this world and mothers do not ever see or hold their children, with government-run centers rearing all children, to be good citizens.  In this all woman world, euthanasia has become a government function too, where  the Department of Mortic Revenue controls who dies and when they die.

In that book report, I wrote:

“The feminist revolution spawned not just a battle for women to have equal access to jobs and equal pay for equal work, but an endless war against the patriarchal system (code for western civilization) and at its core a hatred and complete disdain for men and all things that are traditionally considered masculine, manly, or male attributes, beyond mere differences in genitalia.

I reject feminism, because it’s not just some benign battle for “fairness” in the workplace or expanding opportunities for women, it’s about tearing down the entire framework of western civilization.”

https://libertybellediaries.com/2017/02/27/an-extreme-feminist-utopia/

I served a short time in the U.S. Army and integration of women in the military has gone through endless cycles of programs to find ways to integrate women into more career fields in the military.  The military has also had to cope with endless problems with sex scandals, pregnancy when servicewomen are deployed, single-parent issues and other social problems with having young males and females living and working in close confines for extended periods of time.

Feminist activists, who promote women in combat, as the last barrier to “equal opportunity” in the military,  don’t place  war-fighting capability as the number one concern in all military operations.  For them, it’s always about feminism first.  Many female service members serve honorably and with great distinction, so my point is not to diminish their contributions.  My point is that policy decisions should  be set with the priority being whatever promotes the best war fighting force PERIOD.  If females aren’t as strong as men and there are grueling brute force jobs (like combat jobs), then they should remain all-male units.  There are enough studies that pinpoint where the female anatomy falls short in these skill sets, so why pretend males and females are interchangeable?

With this latest Marine Corps scandal, the news reports mention female Marines having their photos and sex videos put online by old boyfriends, something referred to as revenge porn, by male Marines (mostly former Marines), who are all part of an online social media group.  It must be stated that this entire sexting culture is repulsive and detrimental to young people, especially young women, but this too is an off-shoot of the modern feminist movement, where female liberation involved sexual liberation, and  demolishing the sanctity of marriage.

Here are some things I believe,  from being a female in the military.  I believe most men in the military believe women in the military are sluts or lesbians.   I experienced male soldiers, whom I did not even know, coming up to me and saying sexually provocative things.   I noticed that due to the extreme numerical imbalance of so many men and so few females, that you could have been the ugliest girl in America and in that environment, many men would still be hitting on you.  I noticed that many girls became more sexually promiscuous in that environment than they probably would have at home.  I noticed that male soldiers often talked very disparagingly about all the pregnant female soldiers, yet none of those female soldiers became pregnant by immaculate conception.  I told men who said inappropriate things to me that I am a lady and don’t appreciate being talked to like that.  By conducting myself like a lady, most men treated me respectfully and they even told other soldiers to watch their language around  me.  All this I observed over 30 years ago and yet the same problems persist in the military.

The sexual culture among young people today is way more promiscuous, casual, and without social stigmas and societal norms to rein in the excesses.   In this brave new world, young women making sex videos and sexting are “normal” behavior.   The language in America has coarsened a great deal in the past 50 years.  Cultural norms no longer exist as guideposts to civil discourse and behavior, in the civilian world.

So, here we are with the U.S. military in the midst of more social engineering, thanks to President Obama and the mainstream media and liberal pundits cheer.  The feminist activists cheer too.

From this amoral American culture,  young men and women volunteer to serve in uniform.  They bring all their social mores (or lack thereof) with them.  Many of our best leaders have left the military, discouraged and disillusioned with President Obama’s military transformation.  We have serious readiness problems, we have serious leadership problems.

Commanders always get beat up about why they haven’t fixed all these recurring male/female problems in the military or why men would treat fellow female service members like this.  Well, because everyone has to pretend that all the young men and women in the military are “professionals” and interchangeable parts.  Everyone has to pretend that men and women don’t consider some female behaviors (like making porn videos) sluttish or that some male conduct is that of a cad ( like posting nude photos and videos of an old girlfriend online without her knowledge or consent).  Those beliefs about sexual conduct and decorum were supposed to be vanquished by the sexual revolution… but they weren’t.

Commanders can’t speak honestly about the integration problems that crop up, because to call bullshit to the feminist crap is career suicide..

The real joke is that what the feminist harpies, like Gillibrand, demand is they want males in the military to behave like gentlemen and uphold chivalrous conduct… which modern feminism killed…

They want to have their cake and eat it too and the cherry on top for a snide feminist, “champion of women in the military”, like Gillibrand, is to grand-stand, berating a Marine Corps general, who has no choice but to sit there and take it like a, ummm, gentleman

Stay tuned… more to come on “modern feminism” in future posts

Another Dem email scandal brewing

Assuredly, there’s plenty of odd Russian connections to people closely connected with President Trump.  However, the Dems and mainstream media have been in Trump/Russia hysteria mode for months, but the mainstream media has studiously avoided the brewing House Dems’ email scandal.

Back in February, The Daily Caller reported:

“Three brothers who managed office information technology for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and other lawmakers were abruptly relieved of their duties on suspicion that they accessed congressional computers without permission.

Brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan were barred from computer networks at the House of Representatives Thursday, The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.

Three members of the intelligence panel and five members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs were among the dozens of members who employed the suspects on a shared basis. The two committees deal with many of the nation’s most sensitive issues and documents, including those related to the war on terrorism.”

The Daily Caller now reports that these Pakistani IT guys also had access to the DNC email system:

“Imran Awan — the lead suspect in a criminal probe into breaches of House of Representatives information security systems — possessed the password to an iPad used by then-Democratic National Committee Chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz when DNC emails were given to WikiLeaks, The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.

Wasserman Schultz resigned the DNC post in the wake of WikiLeaks posting damaging internal emails, blaming the scandal on hacking by Russians.

Imran and his family members, all of whom worked as IT professionals for members of Congress, were banned from the House network Feb. 2, 2017, by the House Sergeant at Arms, but Wasserman Schultz has declined to fire him and circumvented the ban by having him “advise” her office.”

Oh, and if that isn’t enough, further in this story there’s this tidbit about the Awan brothers:

“While they were supposed to be working for the House, they were also running a limited liability corporation called “CIA,” apparently a car dealership, that racked up massive debts and fraud accusations.

CIA took and never repaid a $100,000 loan from Dr. Ali Al-Attar, an Iranian-Iraqi who is a fugitive from U.S. authorities and has been linked to Hezbollah.

Abid Awan filed for bankruptcy in 2012, listing $1 million in liabilities. Employers typically don’t allow people with money problems to have access to sensitive information, because the financial pressures can cause them to misuse it.”

Perils of working from home

Speaking the same language…

My youngest daughter is 29 years old and lives near Dallas, TX.  She usually calls me in the morning as she’s driving into Dallas to work.  She often relates what’s happening with protesters outside the building where Senator John Cornyn’s office is located in Dallas, because she works near there.  One day in January she messaged  me some photos of these protesters and she asked me what we’re supposed to be “resisting”.  Then she asked me how people have time to show up day after day and protest.  She said it must be nice not to have to go to work.

Yesterday the Left staged another feminist protest, A Day Without Women general strike.   My daughter called me as she was driving to work and she mentioned this protest in scathing terms.  She said if she doesn’t work, she doesn’t get paid and she asked me what was the point of this protest.  I don’t think the feminist organizers can even agree on a message or what political goals they are seeking.  In a style change from pink pussy knit caps and lady parts costumes of the Women’s March, the organizers of this “general strike” encouraged women to wear red.

A British feminist, Caitlin Moran, offered this stunningly idiotic advice to young girls:

“In The Guardian last week, Gloria Steinem – brilliant, bad-ass, pioneering, pack-mother feminist Gloria Steinem – was asked which book changed her life.

“Little Women,” she replied. “Because it was the first time I realised women could be a whole human world.”

Oh man, she’s right – so right I yelped when I read it. Because if I had one piece of advice for young girls, and women, it would be this: girls, don’t read any books by men. Don’t read them. Stay away from them. Or, at least, don’t read them until you’re older, and fully-formed, and battle-ready, and are able to counter someone being rude to you, in conversation, not with silent embarrassment, or internalised, mute fury, but a calm, “Fuck you very much, and goodbye.”

Because if there’s one thing that has made me, perhaps, happier in myself, and more confident about writing the truth, and less apt to run myself down for my appearance, weight, loudness and unusualness than many, many other women, it’s that I never read books by men when I was younger.

Picking literature to read based on the sex of the author…  That’s what edgy feminism is about today???  At this link there’s an interview of Moran and photo of her.  It’s kind of interesting that a hardcore feminist likes a top with such traditional smocking and embroidery, but her top speaks loudly about the total trainwreck of modern feminist ideology.  These angry, self-righteous, bigoted, ignorant feminists don’t really have any clear ideology or political ends.  They’re just making up attention-seeking, headline-grasping nonsense as they go.  Too many modern feminists truly have no respect for traditional female roles or the women who find  happiness and contentment pursuing domestic endeavors.  Some women prefer to be at home with their children and taking care of their home.  Decades of feminist indoctrination hasn’t been able to alter that.  This lady may spout hardcore feminist dogma, but her top speaks loudly that she admires lovely embroidery.

Over the years, I’ve completed many needlework projects, but many “to-be-completed” ones are stashed in plastic storage containers, so I’m working at completing some of them.  The nativity scenes in the counted cross stitch piece above, I stitched around 1995 or 1996.  I only had the backstitching to complete on the bottom section, but I got busy with other projects, then I lost the pattern for this.

A few weeks ago, while going through a large plastic container of craft stuff in the garage, lo’ and behold I found the wooden frame that is for the nativity scene cross stitch, so I brought it into my sewing room.  I dug out the cross stitch piece and kept looking at the camels, not sure where the backstitching around their eyes should be.  Then I remembered that I had a large manila envelope with Bucilla needlework catalogs on one of the bookcases in my sewing room.  So, I began looking through them and in the 1995 Bucilla Holiday catalog there is a picture of this nativity scene picture.  With my magnifying lamp I use for needlework, I could easily see the backstitching in the photo.

So, here’s a completed piece that sat in a box for over 20 years.   When I started to relay this story about the old catalog to my daughter, she interrupted me and said, “Why do I get the feeling this is going to be one of your hoarding stories?”   Hoarding stories are her euphemism for stories where I point out some happy outcome from using junk that I should have tossed out decades ago.  My kids hate my happy hoarding stories…  They fear being stuck with all my junk to deal with when I die;-)

The photo of the stack of plastic canvas needlepoint tissue box covers are 8 of the 12 that I’ve made in the past few months.  I need to mail these to family and friends soon.

In honor of A Day Without Women strike, I watched a lot of embroidery videos yesterday and spent several hours working on a counted cross stitch project. Lately, reading or watching the news makes me feel a sense of dread and deep concern for America’s future, so I’m spending more time watching needlework videos and doing my own needlework.

The video below is a talented needleworker, Shagufta Fyms, who is a wonderful instructor. This video has 3,791,110 views on YouTube.  Not too shabby for an embroidery video.  She speaks Urdu, which I don’t know at all, yet amazingly I can follow her instructions without a problem.  She obviously learned her stitch names and sewing terms in English, so it’s easy to know what type of floss or yarn she’s using, how many plies or threads and the stitches.  With the amazing carnations she stitches in this video, the ruffled effect of the carnations looks so exotic, but once I saw what she did, it’s the common buttonhole stitch, stitching with a doubled yarn, rather than a single strand.

Needlework videos in Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Korean, and the list goes on, are so amazingly easy to follow and the most common stitches in English embroidery are the same around the world.  Needlework is a universal language, I’ve realized.  There are even needlework videos with no speaking, set to music, and I can follow along and learn with no problem.  The comments on many of these needlework videos come from all over the world, in many different languages, where ladies post comments or questions.  Often a commenter helps explain something to another commenter.

Just an FYI, if you want to learn the basics of embroidery in English,  Sarah Homfray, a graduate of the Royal School of Needlework in Great Britain, has dozens of excellent videos on YouTube, from basics to advanced techniques.

I bet you could gather needleworkers from all over the world, stick them together in a large room with their sewing supplies, some tables and chairs, and within minutes they would be sharing their work and talking about their families. Needlework has been an integral part of family life around the world, from the time people began stitching together clothes.  It has also been an integral part of community life in many parts of the world. However, women around the world took the ubiquitous utilitarian and turned sewing into a decorative and artistic form of expression.

In American politics, the complete opposite is true.  We may all speak English, we may all be familiar with the same pop culture, restaurant chains, and stores, but when it comes to politics and the reporting of politics, partisans might as well be from different galaxies, because they don’t understand anything about each other, their belief systems have no common threads, even with news events, their understanding of the facts reside in different realities.

In many blog posts, I’ve written about finding common ground and of all places to find an important story about this very topic, here’s a Washington Post piece, from today,  about a female documentary filmmaker, Julie Winokur:

“It was the middle of the Obama administration, and Julie Winokur, a self-described liberal, was so frustrated with what she saw as Republican obstructionism that she would immediately dismiss any argument from the right. Then one day, her own child flipped her narrative. He told her she was “the most politically intolerant person” he knew.

“If the other side had a good idea, you wouldn’t know because you’re not listening,” she said he told her. “I realized in that moment that I was as responsible as the people I was pointing fingers at. You have to take ownership of your own contribution to the negativity.”

That was 2012, at the height of the tea party movement and in the midst of that year’s presidential election, when it felt like the partisanship and rancor couldn’t get worse. Her son’s criticism inspired her to stop lamenting it and instead try to fix it.

In the latest episode of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee,” the host accused a young man of having a “Nazi” haircut, even though, in reality, Kyle Coddington is a #NeverTrumper with brain cancer.

The show sent cast member Mike Rubens to attend the Conservative Political Action Conference in February and spliced together a video showing all the absurdities he encountered at the annual  event. A minute into the clip, a narrator says they saw lots of “Nazi” haircuts and showed a montage of young men who had their hair clipped short or shaved on the sides. Among those was Coddington, who appears sitting at his laptop at the 1-minute mark.

Samantha Bee’s Show Said He Had ‘Nazi Hair.’ He Actually Has Brain Cancer

Kyle Coddington has the “Nazi” haircut, because he’s battling stage 4 brain cancer.

Info War… Russian-style

Blogging about the current  American political information war, just like the endless spin cycle, replete with scorched earth character assassinations, is repetitive, predictable and disheartening.  While the mainstream media and Dems hurl accusations against President Trump’s wild tweets, that allege President Obama abused his powers and wiretapped Trump Tower, the Russians launched a nuclear information war strike yesterday.

Do the mainstream media and entrenched partisans realize the scope of the Russian comprehensive strategy to destroy America’s credibility as a world leader?  I doubt it.  The media would rather fixate on Trump and aiding the Left in delegitimizing his presidency.  Trump assists them in their efforts with his own self-absorbed, Reality TV presidency, replete with endless dramatic Twitter attacks on the media.

Several blogs, which appear to be Russian front operations, allege the CIA has used vast hacking tools to orchestrate hack attacks that look like they’re from other countries.  Wikileaks released more documents on this:

“A vast portion of the CIA’s computer hacking arsenal appeared to have been exposed Tuesday by the anti-secrecy organization WikiLeaks, which posted thousands of files revealing secret cyber-tools used by the agency to convert cellphones, televisions and other ordinary devices into implements of espionage.

The trove appeared to lay bare the design and capabilities of some of the U.S. intelligence community’s most closely guarded cyberweapons, a breach that is likely to cause immediate damage to the CIA’s efforts to gather intelligence overseas and place new strain on the U.S. government’s relationship with Silicon Valley giants including Apple and Google.”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/wikileaks-says-it-has-obtained-trove-of-cia-hacking-tools/2017/03/07/c8c50c5c-0345-11e7-b1e9-a05d3c21f7cf_story.html?utm_term=.80ae1cd53198

The Russians wasted no time parlaying Trump’s latest unproven Twitter attack against the FBI and US intel agencies, as being corrupt tools used in cheap partisan political dirty tricks by President Obama, into potent disinformation dumps meant to fuel Americans’ distrust of their own government.  The Russian disinformation effort also niftily used Trump’s reckless charges as the basis for their huge stink bomb, meant to steer foreign governments away from trusting the United States.  This attack also follows a long Russian disinformation theme of casting US intelligence agencies as immoral and international pariahs in the world.  Of course, it also deflects attention away from the Russians ruthless disinformation and intelligence operations.

American credibility took another hit, thanks to Trump’s myopic focus on himself and his image.  Trump lashed out at the media and scored some cheap partisan points.  The Dems and media feigned outrage, but they’re backpedaling away from their assertions of FBI wiretaps on Trump associates and transcripts of phone calls between Trump associates and the Russians, as fast as they can.   While Trump, the Dems and the media wage Twitter attacks and counter-attacks on the legitimacy of Trump’s presidency and Russian influence, the Russians have used this latest partisan scorched earth media circus diversion, as cover for  a global disinformation nuclear strike.

American intelligence officials were supposedly caught totally unaware by this Wikileaks hit

Americans needs an investigation into the entire corrupt 2016 election scorched earth debacle to restore confidence in the American electoral system, but who do Americans trust at this point?  Kevin D. Williamson wrote about that: The Problem with Investigating Trump.

The Obama administration escaped serious mainstream media scrutiny on their corruption of executive branch institutions.  Every Obama administration scandal ended up portrayed as Faux News or a partisan, racist witch hunt, so don’t expect any mainstream media honesty in reporting.  The media which reports every tantalizing bit of  Trump dirt they come across… without serious fact-checking…. is running away from Trump’s wiretapping charge.  Andrew McCarthy at National Review and Law Newz have covered that angle:

Yes, There Could Be Serious Legal Problems if Obama Admin Involved in Illegal Surveillance

While You Weren’t Looking, the Democrat–Media Election-Hacking Narrative Just Collapsed

Take note that Trump has not responded forcefully to continued Russian and Iranian interference with US ships and planes in international territory.   He can rage and bluster on Twitter about unfair reports in the media, but he hasn’t done anything to allow American forces to respond forcefully to Russian and Iranian provocations.

Sure, investigate Trump campaign connections to Russia, investigate Clinton pay-to-play and Congressional Dems Pakistani IT people, expose the details of Weiner’s laptop with over 600,000 emails, BUT never lose sight of the fact that while America play checkers, the Russian are still at their long-game, big picture chess game to destroy  Americans’ trust in American civic institutions and government AND to usurp America’s leadership role on the world.

The Russians aren’t trying “to help” Trump, no matter how much Hillary and her minions say that.

The Russians want to DESTROY America… FIRST.

Just some facts would be welcome

Scorched earth still rages on in America.

Last week President Trump gave a decent speech in front of Congress and got 24 hours of positive media coverage, so it seemed likely the Dems would launch another hit in the media to destroy Trump’s positive media news cycle.  Sure enough the allegations against Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, hit pieces in both the Washington Post and New York Times set off a Twitter frenzy March 1st.

President Trump just went nuclear yesterday morning, accusing President Obama of ordering wiretaps on Trump Tower during the election in a tweetstorm:

Trump tweeted early Saturday morning in one part of a six-tweet tirade that began just after 6:30 a.m.
The President went on to compare the alleged tapping of his phones to Watergate and called Obama “bad (or “sick).”
“How low has President Obama gone to tap my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy,” Trump tweeted.
But two former senior US officials quickly dismissed Trump’s accusations out of hand.
“Just nonsense,” said one former senior US intelligence official.
Another former senior US official with direct knowledge of investigations by the Justice Department under the Obama administration said Trump’s phones were never tapped.
“This did not happen. It is false. Wrong,” the former official told CNN.
A spokesman for Obama, Kevin Lewis, called “any suggestion” that Obama or any White House official ordered surveillance against Trump “simply false.”

At this point, it’s time for leaders in both parties to stand up and be Americans first.

The President owes us details on his allegations.

We are quickly reaching a point of constitutional crisis.

Today is Day #46  of the Trump presidency and assuredly  America’s credibility and stability cannot survive 4 years of unrelenting nuclear option, scorched earth partisan information war.

Best thing for America would be a complete outing of the massive wholesale public corruption of the 2016 Clinton presidential campaign and the Trump presidential campaign.

We need answers on the Trump/Russian influence questions swirling.

We need answers on the Clinton scorched earth efforts, to include collusion with the media & Obama administration efforts.

We need email answers on both Trump associates’ connections with Wikileaks and Hillary’s server.

Beyond the Russian influence hysteria we need answers on Abedin’s email stash and the House Dems Pakistani IT peeps, who are under investigation.

Just some facts would be welcome.

An extreme feminist Utopia

wp-1488256704372.jpg

A 1973 card I bought in my early teens, when I first began collecting quotes.

The Thoreau quote above struck a chord with me when I was around 13 years old.   Most people go with the flow, but I’ve always been a contrarian.   Sometimes, well, make that most of the time, life is probably easier if you don’t march to a different drummer.  The thing about refusing to buy into things, just because “that’s the way it’s always been” or “experts say it is so” or “what makes you think you know more than all the brilliant people, who have come before you” is perhaps they never challenged the “accepted wisdom” or thought about it in the way I am thinking about it.  I refuse to go along to get along if something doesn’t make sense to me.   Of course,  I keep trying to understand the “accepted wisdom,” but if I believe that is not right, then I will not say I accept it.  I might be completely misguided in my views, but until I believe something makes sense, I’m not going to say I believe it.

One thing I tell my kids repeatedly is: Don’t ever buy into other people’s bullshit.

I believe America needs a whole lot more people to adopt a more contrarian viewpoint.

wp-1488256989427.jpg

A few posts back I wrote about Charles Eric Maine’s 1958 dystopian sci-fi novel , World Without Men, which amazon.com’s blurb describes as:

Maine’s bases his vision of an ideological dystopia not on criticism of socialism or communism per se, nor of technocracy per se, but rather of feminism. Maine saw in the nascent feminism of his day (the immediate postwar period) a dehumanizing and destructive force, tending towards totalitarianism, which had the potential to deform society in radical, unnatural ways. Maine believed that feminism, as he understood it, derived its fundamental premises from hatred of, not respect for, the natural order. He also believed that feminism entailed a rebellion against sexual dimorphism.”

Not being a fan of science fiction or novels about dystopian societies, I felt relief when I finally received my copy of World Without Men.  The novel is only 190 pages and a quick read.  However, many themes in the plot evoke deeper questions about women, women in groups, men, and men’s influence on women’s behavior that left me pondering modern feminism.  I’m already rereading several sections.

Before I begin the book report on an imaginary society in a 1950s sci-fi novel, consider that talking about males and females shouldn’t be complicated, yet many things in our culture today require a concentrated effort at suspending rational thinking to believe in the bizarre “gender issues,” because frankly, they’re made-up and have no basis in the world as we know it, scientific facts, or historical evidence.  The feminist revolution spawned not just a battle for women to have equal access to jobs and equal pay for equal work, but an endless war against the patriarchal system (code for western civilization) and at its core a hatred and complete disdain for men and all things that are traditionally considered masculine, manly, or male attributes, beyond mere differences in genitalia.

I reject feminism, because it’s not just some benign battle for “fairness” in the workplace or expanding opportunities for women, it’s about tearing down the entire framework of western civilization.  Maine’s novel, set 5,000 years into the future, describes a world literally without men.  Although sounding totally implausible at first glance, Maine offers snapshot-like short chapters into the past, that lay out frightening events along the way to how this “world without men” came to be.  While novels like this aren’t to be taken literally or as prescience for what is to come, like 1984, Maine touched on some issues that are worth thinking about.

Parthenogenesis, asexual reproduction where an embryo develops from an unfertilized egg cell, becomes the means of reproduction in this futuristic, totalitarian, lesbian world Maine created.  The society, 5,000 years into the future, begins the story of a world of only women, who are controlled by government committees and artificial intelligence from computers, to believe in the Parthenogenetic Adaptation Syndrome (P.A.S.), that teaches women that nature has evolved to allow women to have babies without men.  The official history teaches that men, over time, died out and offers some glimpses into a world with war, expensive space exploration and conflict in those ancient times.  The P.A.S. requires rigid, cradle to grave conformity to all rules decreed by the government departments, like the Department of the Written Word and the Department of Social Stability.

All women are told when it is their duty to produce babies, which they never see and which are raised in government institutions.  The women are told that these babies are born naturally through parthenogenesis.  Relationships in this world are superficial and geared toward physical pleasure, not deep emotional bonds.  Along with government committees tightly controlling reproduction, the governmental Department of Mortic Revenue controls who dies and when they die, to maintain a stable population.  Even in this peaceful world, where no one is allowed to make waves or disrupt the social stability, rabble-rousers and contrarians keep emerging.

The official P.A.S. history teaches:

“There never could have been a Utopia while man survived and controlled human affairs, for his innate aggressiveness and insatiable curiosity forced him restlessly to pursue the ever-widening boundary of knowledge without giving a thought to the application of his newly found powers in the service of humanity.  In abolishing man, nature had opened the way to the permanent establishment of peace and plenty.  Several women scientists had pointed out that man had been necessary to nature’s purpose; he had tackled, with considerable energy and ingenuity, the problem of adapting his environment to himself, and had succeeded in wresting from the blind forces of the cosmos all the power he needed to secure the supremacy and ultimate survival of the human race as an entity.  And at that point man became redundant. Worse he became an obstacle to the wise and peaceful exploitation of natural power for the benefit of his species.  So man ceased to exist, and woman became mistress of her planet, and nature provided parthenogenesis to replace the outmoded reproduction mechanism that had vanished with the male sex.”

p. 35, World Without Men, Maine, Charles Eric

While the official belief is in P.A.S., secretly the government has scientists working tirelessly on trying to produce living male babies, because human parthenogenesis is a lie.

Maine has chapters that provide historical glimpses into how this all female world developed, beginning with a contraceptive drug called Sterilin, which creates temporary sterility in women, to allow women sexual freedom.  Keep in mind this novel was written before the Pill was introduced.  Another chapter moves further ahead where a reporter wants to break a big story to expose that the governments of the world are hiding an alarming decline in male births, attributed to nature overcompensating for artificially sterile females, by overproducing females.  The imbalance at this point in the story is reaching critical mass, but to avoid widespread panic, governments are suppressing the demographic statistics.  The reporter is assassinated before he can break the story.

Further along in the progression to a world without men is a short chapter on an old man, kept locked living in isolation, with caretakers.  This man has been told he is the last living man on earth and his memories of younger days, being kept locked up with other men to provide, basically stud service and genetic material, sounds like how scientists today work to preserve endangered species.  The male embryos keep dying off.  Many aspects of this story fit perfectly with how scientists react to existential challenges and with how most people adapt and conform easily to whatever rules they are indoctrinated into believing.  At each historical point in this story, there are people who rebel and believe in exposing the lies.

I don’t want to give away the ending completely, but like so many other epic stories throughout history, a male child is born and his birth rocks the entire system. The committees and artificial intelligence, reach the verdict that the male baby must be destroyed. He will disrupt the stability.  A revolt begins.  Maine writes:

“It is strange how a small thing can unbalance a perfectly planned society.  Perhaps stability is geared in some way to purpose and direction, and perhaps the stabilizing was research into the synthetic creation of a male human.  Without that focal point of endeavor, like the nucleus of a cell, it may be that society tends to lose its purpose, to disintegrate.  The psychology of a social perversion-neurosis in very complex.”

p. 189, World Without Men, Maine, Charles Eric

Although, this story is science fiction, modern feminism does tend toward totalitarianism, where whatever “gender theories” and  pseudo-science, manufactured among feminist academics, get crammed down our throats through “experts” lecturing us in the media and through the K-12 public school system.  Any who disagree are shouted down and ostracized.  While no catastrophic decline in male births has occurred due to widespread use of contraceptives since the advent of The Pill in 1960,  in Russia and several Western European countries that embraced both contraception, small families and abortion, demographics have reached  a critical stage.  These countries are not reproducing enough children to sustain their ethnic groups.

As bizarre as the P.A.S. belief in this story sounds, truthfully it’s no more bizarre than the current transgender myths and endless “gender variations” being sold by “experts” and LGBT activists.  A very small fraction of the population was homosexual before the massive efforts to mainstream gay marriage and gay rights, but along with the mainstreaming is a full-court effort in Hollywood to produce movies and TV shows with gay characters to normalize homosexuality.  As homosexuality is mainstreamed and promoted, more young people will engage in homosexual behavior.

The activists have carefully packaged all of their radical gender agenda as “civil rights,” casting any who don’t buy into their beliefs as “haters”.  With the rapid successes with gay activism, the current transgender activism is intended to mainstream transgender behavior and teach children that despite being born male or female, they should feel free to choose their “gender.”   The push to “treat” children before adolescence with hormones to stop puberty is already happening and some doctors also have begun administering hormones to cross-sex, beginning the sex change process in children as young as 12.

Maines’s fictional all-female society was thousands of years in the making, but looking at the LGBT transformation in society in the past 20 years shows how quickly people can be brainwashed, manipulated and led by relentless mass media saturation and social engineering  to normalize just about any behavior.

As for me, I’ll remain a contrarian and insist that boys and girls should be allowed to be just boys and girls again, without all this gender-bending, destructive,  pseudo-science robbing so many children of the innocence to just be kids.  And we shouldn’t feel like we are being insensitive to politely say , “I don’t believe in 50+ genders” or “I believe transgenderism is a mental disorder.”

The powers that be, in any human system, try to silence and squash disrupters, who challenge the system.  Maine got that part completely right.

Literally, a false flag operation…

Images often speak louder than words.  Last year, in early March, Donald Trump ignited a media firestorm, when the mainstream media reported on his March 5, 2016 Orlando rally, where he led the crowd in raising their right hand and pledging to vote for Donald J. Trump.  The Hitler Nuremberg comparison blazed across headlines and dominated media talking points.  That pledge rally was obviously planned.   That Trump protests were being funded and fueled by Left-wing activists is obvious.  That Trump the “loose cannon” and Trump “the fascist” memes were part of the Clinton campaign’s media effort to paint Trump as Hitler is obvious too, but who in Trump’s campaign encouraged Trump to use strong-man rhetoric and imagery?

Once again, here’s the timeline on Trump the fascist memes:

February 28, 2016 – Trump retweets a Mussolini quote and refuses to denounce David Duke on a Sunday talk show.

March 3, 2016 – GOP debate where Trump defends Mussolini quote and doubles down on his committing war crimes to defeat ISIS.

March 5, 2016 – Trump does a staged raised arm pledge rally where the Nuremberg imagery smacked you in the face. He read a prepared card with that pledge. I’d love to know who came up with that pledge rally idea and if it was Trump, did anyone try to dissuade him.

March 10, 2016 – Michelle Fields claims she was strong-armed by Lewandowski leaving a press briefing. I have wondered if he was a handy Clinton middleman, because it sure seemed like he was set-up as the thug in that Michelle Fields controversy. I watched that video over and over and did not see him grab her arm where the bruises were and I believe she sounded very deceptive in interviews.

The Trump controversy builds. And then he walked into the home of wacko leftist central, Chicago.  The timeline suggests that  Trump was duped into setting up his own bonfire and lighting it, before he was tossed into it by the left-wing mob.

March 12, 2016 – Leftist ground zero, Chicago, Trump faces massive organized leftist mobs and cancels his rally.

Those protests in Chicago were staged and funded by leftists – and Soros very likely played a large role.  This riot in San Jose is just part of that continued staged agitation propaganda to try to incite violent clashes with Trump supporters.  I still wonder who in Trump’s campaign egged him on with this strong-man themed garbage?  Was that pledge rally a Trump brain storm or was Trump sold on it?   Soros and other far-left groups are likely funding, organizing and staging these riots and street clashes, but who in Trump’s campaign came up with these strong-man talking points in the first place???   That’s what I would like to know, because it sure looks like he was massively set-up.  When he did that pledge rally, where the liberal press was primed with making that Nuremberg rally comparison immediately, almost like they had received some talking points.  Was there MEDIA COLLUSION and if so, with whom???

The mainstream media seems completely incurious about investigating who is behind organizing and funding Leftist street protests, but assuredly there are networks of organizers and funding.

Over the weekend social media went wild with reports from CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) of Trump supporters waving Russian flags with Trump emblazoned across the middle.  The Atlantic reports:

“Jason Charter, 22, and Ryan Clayton, 36, passed out roughly 1,000 red, white, and blue flags, each bearing a gold-emblazoned “TRUMP” in the center, to an auditorium full of attendees waiting for President Trump to address the conference. Audience members waved the pennants—and took pictures with them—until CPAC staffers realized the trick: They were Russian flags.”

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/02/false-flag-operation-at-cpac/517842/

The men are part of a group, Americans Take Action, and the Huffington Post reports:

“Charter said that pranks can be “fun and still effective in shedding light on a serious situation.” He said Americans Take Action has several other events planned. “I, of course, can’t go into details, but we’re not stopping until Donald Trump is impeached.””

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/cpac-russian-flags-trump_us_58b0ca06e4b060480e0827ab

A Google search yields a many right-wing news sites and blogs asserting Americans Take Action is a group set up by long-time community organizer, street thuggery planner, Bob Creamer.  So, back to the Trump rally chaos in Chicago… and where is Bob Creamer located?  Psst, Chicago.  Here are some links on Creamer:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/politics/ct-video-sting-democratic-operatives-james-okeefe-20161019-story.html

President Trump causes a great deal of his own bad press, but there are Leftist groups dedicated to provoking bad PR scenes and staging propaganda, street violence, and even, literally, false flag operations…

#NoMoreScorchedEarth

The video above highlights some of Donald Trump’s ways of manipulating people.  He is a very talented con man.  If he were religious, he could give Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker a run for their money.  While the video lays out Trump’s personal talents as a con man, the special sauce for Trump is how he took those talents and applied them to controlling the 24/7 news cycle and manufacturing opinion cascades, using a mass media saturation strategy (information warfare) that the Left originated and controlled for decades.  Trump fixates on perpetuating this image that he’s massively popular (crowd size), so expect him to stage more big rally events to bolster his “popular” image.  He is running the Reality TV Presidency and it’s as phony as he is.

Every time President Trump launches one of his over the top attacks against the “dishonest media”, I’m torn between cheering that he’s taking on the relentless liberal spin cycle and disgust at his destroying the dignity of the Office of the President.

The mainstream media acts as a propaganda front of the Left and Democratic Party.  The mainstream media really did work to legitimize Trump during the GOP primary, to aid in what John Podesta’s leaked email referred to as their Pied Piper strategy.  By late February, early March of 2016, the mainstream media flipped to running the Clinton Scorched Earth 2.0 to take down Trump and help Hillary.  To see how spin works, Twitter is a good place to see American journalists and news organizations in action.  All it takes is a handful of journalists or news organizations colluding with the Dems & Left to create a 24/7 spin cycle, by repeating the same story.  Two of the biggest aggregators of  “fake news” (or at least numerous stories with many factual errors) are the New York Times and the Washington Post.  However, laziness, poor journalistic standards, and liberal hive mentality (groupthink) all play into the 24/7 spin cycle that has allowed the Left’s political messaging to dominate in mainstream media since the early 90s.

The disgusting part of the media collusion with the Left is that the Hollywood crowd jumps in to reinforce the news media spin.  Being no fan of Kellyanne Conway and acknowledging that she has played as big a role in her credibility problems as the mainstream media’s hostile treatment of her, here’s what infuriates about how the media sets out to destroy Trump and his inner-circle.  Conway misspoke about what happened at Bowling Green, KY.  She mentioned a “massacre”.  The media pounced to ridicule Conway with relentless repetition of “no massacre at Bowling Green”.

Conway botched the single best case for thorough vetting.  What really happened is two Al Qaeda bombmakers from Iraq came to the US as refugees and settled in Bowling Green, KY:

In that case, the two Iraqi nationals were indicted on federal terrorism charges accusing them, in part, of providing material support to Al Qaeda in Iraq.

The Iraqi nationals were Waad Ramadan Alwan, who was 30 at the time of his indictment in 2011, and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, who was then 23.

The FBI launched its investigation into Alwan in 2009, the year he entered the US. He bragged to an FBI source in 2010 about how he’d “f—ked up” US Hummers in Iraq with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and expressed an interest in providing support to terrorists in Iraq. He eventually recruited his friend Hammadi into his scheme to ship money and weapons (including machine guns, rocket-propelled grenade launchers, Stinger missiles, and C4 plastic explosives) to terrorists in Iraq.

The operation was a sting operation — the FBI’s source convinced Alwan and Hammadi that the money and weapons were actually going to terrorists abroad, but they were not.

Alwan and Hammadi entered the US as refugees. They lied about their terrorism ties.”

And the story continues:

“Alwan was sentenced to 40 years in prison and Hammadi was sentenced to life. Both pleaded guilty to the charges against them.”

http://www.businessinsider.com/bowling-green-massacre-2017-2

This story buries the details starting on the fifth paragraph, devoting the first four to Conway stating a terror attack that never happened.  Even after stating the facts, this story emphasizes that these two Al Qaeda bombmakers weren’t planning attacks in the US, but were plotting to ship weapons and money to Al Qaeda in Iraq, as if to say they were no threat to America.  Hello, their support of Al Qaeda would put US troops in Iraq at risk, but you see what I mean about spinning stories to prop up the Left’s talking points.

Being sick to death of Trump’s theatrics and the media’s total dishonesty and collusion with the Dems & Left, most days I just wonder how far Trump vs. the media will push this never ending scorched earth information warfare, where both sides use any means necessary to discredit the other and where the American people are held captive to this corrupt, demoralizing, destructive Alinkskyite battle.  Of course, Trump and his followers embrace using scorched earth against, not only against the Left, but against any Republicans or conservatives who object to “any means necessary” scorched earth information war.  Ostensibly, once they annihilate the enemy (Leftists and any who dare object to their behavior), America will be made safe for “normal” Americans…  Judging by their tossing out all the rules on public decorum, manners, and leading by example, where Trump lies outrageously and engages in embarrassing name-calling tantrums, it is hard to see how at the end of this “war”,  America will have any reputation or values left to defend, but that isn’t stopping those engaged in scorched earth information war.

If you think I exaggerate the scorched earth information war, here’s a piece by Kurt Schlichter, former Army colonel, Trump Twitter commando and senior editor at Townhall.com;

“The Left is getting massively out-Alinskyed, and the hilarious thing is that this band of withered hippies, unemployable millennial safe-space cases, and unlovable + unshaven libfeminists don’t even know it. Oh, their masters sure know it. Soros is bitterly having to ramp up his infusions of blood money to keep his community-organized “grassroots” movements afloat. The less dumb ones among the lying dinosaur media are panicking as their influence fades, and Chuck Schumer is enduring such a non-stop parade of serial humiliations that if the Senate were a penitentiary, he’d be McConnell’s prison Mitch.

The Leftist mafia godmaleidentifyingparents pulling the strings of the Marxist Muppets know the score – they are losing. And it’s awesome. Because, finally, the Right has taken Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals and shoved it up where #TheResistance don’t shine.”

Schlichter continues:

“Alinsky’s Rules are relatively simple, and they make sense when you are fighting a conventional opponent with an interest in maintaining the status quo. The Rules are terrific for dealing with an old-school conservative guy who drives a Buick, enjoys gardening, and doesn’t want any trouble. They aren’t so effective against conservative brawlers who like to punch, and who aren’t too fussy about whether it’s with tweets or with fists.

The Rules are not some magic incantation; they are simply some tactical principles that work in certain kinds of fights against certain kinds of opponents – particularly ones willing to unilaterally disarm in the face of an unprincipled enemy. But once the secret is out, it’s relatively easy to turn them around on an enemy that is so stupid it thinks it’s going to gain widespread acceptance among normal Americans by dressing up as genitalia. That’s why the thirteen classic Alinsky Rules are playing out right now in a way the Left did not expect.”

https://townhall.com/columnists/kurtschlichter/2017/02/13/shoving-alinskys-rules-for-radicals-right-back-in-the-lefts-ugly-face-n2284892

Schlichter then lays out the Alinsky rules for radicals.  One can easily see how people who believe in  “by any means necessary” could fall sway to following a venal, self-absorbed, petty, vindictive, lying bully like Donald Trump, but the cost of falling in with Scorched Earth and Alinsky rules is your conscience and what gets burned to the ground in the process is American values and America’s reputation around the world.

We don’t need to burn America to the ground to save it.
