I’m not really a big Christmas movie person, but I found this 2017 movie on my amazon prime listing and watched it last night. It probably helps that I have a fondness for 19th century writers, especially Charles Dickens, although I don’t believe that’s a prerequisite for enjoying this movie. The eccentricity of, not only Dickens, but everyone around him, including the characters living in his imagination, mingled with Dickens’ flashbacks to his own childhood kept this movie racing along.
