“libertybelle” joined twitter, heck if I know why.  So, to keep up with all the happenings, I am following left-wing and right-wing and everything in between there. Not sure what the point of twitter is yet, but there you have it #libertybelle@october601.  Feel free to send a tweet and I’ll work hard to contain myself to the required 140 character responses.  Here’s a true story, my adult children told me not to send them text messages, because I invariably hit the enter key and send uncompleted messages.  Then I fumble about at figuring out how to answer my cell phone when they call to see if everything is okay, creating anxious moments for them, thinking I’m in some sort of trouble.  I haven’t told them I’m now on twitter, lol.  How much more trouble could I get into online….

Computer gremlins or something, but I can’t get My Archives up on the side of my blog – it’s gone this morning. Now I did pull up my Messages of mhere via a Google search and it showed up on WordPress there. Not sure, what happened and I don’t have an inner computer geek to channel. Darned.

I just discovered “pagination”, splitting long posts into pages, so my previous lengthy post is now 4 pages. Supposedly, breaking up long blocks of text is more reader friendly. Just let me know if it bothers you.

Well, I might be getting the hang of blogging  or at least it’s feeling more comfortable posting stuff.  That said, if at any time I post something, be it  phrases, sentences, thoughts, that you believe belong to some other writer, please point it out to me.  I will immediately attribute it appropriately.  Thanks for stopping by!  Happy New Year!

I’m slowly learning how to get posts up on this blog, so please be patient and feel free to offer technical advice and suggestions.  My friend, Gladius Maximus, has many great ideas and I’m going to post them here.  I figured out how to do the drop-down category menu and I’ve added Gladius Maximus, where I’ll group all his posts. I’m hoping he’ll give me permission to post a great piece he wrote on a knife (hint, hint).
